We have a lot issues with our Charlotte NC David Weekley home. Being ignored over and over by our representatives. Giving excuses after excuses and not fixing the issue. All of the issue have been poor workmanship by contractor during labor shortage.
Some of the issues are : ceiling wall in the master bedroom and the ceiling wall on the third floor also are uneven. Did address with the warranty representative before buying and he say it will go away after the winter and summer past. After 10 months, still there and address with them about the uneven walls, they refuse to fix.
Master bedroom shower floor cracking around the floor. They sent the warranty rep to fix not a contractor. He caulked with silicon instead with the normal sand grout being perform first. I mention why do you not fix with the sand grout instead putting a easy silicon caulking. He say that what they do and refuse to fix it right. They trying to save by doing it themself, not hiring the right contractor to do it right.
Outside window caulking was full of gap, no straight caulking and messy. Look like it done by a kid . Again the warranty rep come out and put more caulking over and into the old caulking. They wont fix because it take too long to remove the old caulking.
Hardwood floor squeaking in 4 spots. Will have a Nov 9 appointment to fix the issues again. Hopefully they say it because of this and that excuses again.
4 Bedroom are experiencing flooring squeaking : Before buying warranty rep mention the all floor are screw down not nails down. It would not squeaking but after 10 months. David Weekly hire unprofessional contractor who does a horrible job from the start. Promising to fix after 10 month after but when it time to fix the issues, they choose to make excuses after excuses.
