I am a 57 year old college educated female that has had a p/c for 12 years, but I feel like an idiot right now. I was reading a news article (CNN) and noticed to the side a story from a "mom" that lives in a town 30 miles from me about fantastic inexpensive teeth-whitening. Her piece was very "down-to-earth" and believable. You order just 2 free trials and pay a very small shipping fee to get snow white teeth. I fell for the SCAM, entered my credit card info, had second thoughts, and clicked on my bank account. In less than one minute, the $1.95 shipping plus $59.95 had been taken from me. I called my bank and was told the charges were pending and nothing could be done until the charges went thru. I called Dazzlewhite and the thief said I would have to return the product, get a tracking number (which requires paying EXTRA postage) before I could CANCEL or get a REFUND! All of this took place in less than TEN MINUTES. You also have a deadline to get it back to them or you'll still be charged!

What kind of country is this? DO NOT ORDER THE FREE TRIAL FROM THESE CROOKS! If this product was so good, they would not stoop to scamming and stealing from honest folks. NEVER AGAIN will I fall for such CONS on the internet! If you order this stuff, you will be sorry and like me...feel like a fool!

My story above (scam, theives, liars) only gets worse! Now they are sending me emails pretending to be the "good" guys to get more personal info from me! Can you believe this? I do believe they change their product name frequently to keep the scam and money flowing. I've found many complaints about products that sound exactly the same, but with other names. Such as: "IvoryBrites", "Max White Teeth", etc. It was confusing to me why I did not find more Dazzlewhite stories. If you Google it, you will find pages of websites that sell/give free trials. Look on the right side of the page where you'll find it listed also under Target, BizRate, & other well known businesses. Click on them...they do not have such a product! It's shoes, clothing with "dazzle" or "white" in the description!

At one point today, there were THREE ads on this page, YES, this page for DAZZLEWHITE. All of this blows my mind. I will say I've learned a big lesson that, God as my witness, will never fall for this trap again. I will say these characters have learned how to get rich fast thanks to the trust of other folks. Please keep the warning going...I'm usually skeptical about even small things, but not anymore. This is sickening to know what some of our country has stooped to.

I sent my 10th email to Dazzlewhite today. As I've said before...these folks are making mega bucks from honest, trusting people. They are a SCAM, CROOKS, LIARS; no better than bank robbers in my opinion. You MUST cancel your bank accounts; the charges will not stop, no matter what you do. I know it's a big pain to do this, but I personally cannot pay these theives $60 every 3-4 weeks for nothing. You can call, email, chat online, return the trial sample unopened...the charges will not stop! Also each person you speak with will promise you no more charges & refunds. Read all the complaints & comments. I have not found ONE that has gotten their refund & all charges stopped. I thought mine was after cancelling my cc, but 3 weeks later on my NEW cc, there it was $58.76. I do not have any of their stupid scam porduct...returned it same day it arrived certified mail, unopened. We must stop these crooks before they leave the country for good. They are using many addresses & names...Dazzlewhite, Ivory Brite, Maxi White, EZ Bright. That's why it's so difficult to stop them. The "mom" with many names that only paid shipping charges for the free trial just happens to live near you because your IP server lets them know where you are online. Very clever, don't you think? It certainly has dooked a lot of very educated citizens, myself included. Please tell anyone that has fallen for this & feels like a fool to please post their complaint. It will help all of us to stop this & possibly get some $$ back!

To SMARTBOI96: I wouldn't hold my breath that you came out without being scammed just yet...I canceled everything as requested, returned product within 14 days of placing order (certified & unopened like I was told to do), and even closed my credit card account, contacted my bank within 10 minutes of placing order, and opened a NEW cc acct after 3 weeks. Guess what? They charged me $58.76 on my NEW cc acct 3 weeks AFTER they signed for my unopened "trial pkg" sent certified mail. Read all the terms you can find...these crooks are scam artists, no matter what they say in an email, online chat, or live on the phone. My bank had to get them off of my back & out of my $$$ when I filed a formal dispute with every detail, email, online chat, and a copy of the folks around the globe that took the time to complain on this website. Maybe you are not one of countless others that did everything in the "terms" and still got charged, but I would keep an eye on my bank account. Read the number of folks that never received a "trial" product to return or got it after the 14 days had pasted. What are they supposed to do? If this product is so great, why do they lie and cheat to keep posting their ads?

To DJ64:
I found the number for you to try and cancel the Axis Wellness: [protected]. Hope this helps, but keep checking your bank statement regularly. I was told by countless online chats, phone calls, and emails that I would receive full refunds, and all "memberships" canceled. But they were all lies. I had to cancel my cc acct and dispute in writing to my bank before these scam artists stopped taking my $$$. I still check it daily, even though this nightmare began in May. Good luck!

To Addie M #1, 2, & 3: I know most of us on this complaint board admitted to being too trusting, and some (including me) acting very foolishly by giving you our personal financial info (which you certainly wasted no time taking advantage of)...but in the last ABOVE THREE comments about how to stop you from robbing us of even more $$$$; you have so cleverly changed your name and phone number! If that doesn't shout SCAM ARTISTS, I do not know what does. Look folks...the company is suddenly called DazzleSMILEpro (instead of Dazzlewhite Pro) and the correct original phone number is: [protected], not [protected].
Addie, I am sure everyone that placed an order for a "free trial" paying merely the shipping charge would much rather have their $$$$ returned, and you can keep YOUR CONCERNS. This website would not exist if you had a good product and ran an HONEST business.

THANK YOU ANATHEMA!

I could not have said it better myself...if you scroll back to the top of page 1, you'll see I started this "complaint" discussion in May. I hate that so many folks followed in my footsteps, but I did find out I was not the only TRUSTING person left on this planet. Without a doubt, there are probably thousands more that have not taken the time or do not want to admit they screwed up by giving these scam artists their personal info. I despise anyone that takes from others dishonestly rather than getting a "real" job. I read these comments daily...many say the same things I did (how do they sleep @ nite, would you like this done to your family member, etc). A big puzzle to me is why GOOGLE prints these complaints day after day for months, yet continue to place their Dazzle ads on this same page time after time! I guess to some $$$ is $$$$ no matter how you get it. But what goes around, comes around.

Att. Andrewlexington
I started this "blog" when I was scammed in May, 2009. Go back to the the first page to read the first complaint. What else do you need to do? First these crooks are fantastic liars...will say anything to get you off the phone or online chat. I did EVERYTHING within minutes of ordering, returned my product registered mail unopened within 30 minutes of it arriving in my box, talked to several reps, emailed, requested countless times for order to be canceled immediately, called my bank & canceled my cc...guess what? Three weeks after I got my NEW cc, they charged me AGAIN! I confirmed with the USPS that the pkg had been received by them, along with hundreds the same day as mine.
You need to contact your bank asap, tell them your card was stolen, and cancel it. Some folks have had to switch banks. I'm telling you this can turn into your worse nightmare. By the way, they are pulling this scam all around the world, not just USA. Good luck, watch your bank acct DAILY, and don't believe anything these thieves tell you.

ATTENTION: Carolyn Y., Stellaa, A. Peachie, Sharon Kopecky...

Do you not ever feel any guilt because you are choosing to take money from innocent, trusting folks that have no idea the nightmare they are stepping into? There is no doubt in my mind that children and elderly people are having to "make do" with less food, clothing, and many other items that they need because of your scam. Innocent little kids and senior citizens that can't hurt a fly doing without because you refuse to find a job that doesn't rob, cheat, or steal from others that have never wronged you in any way. How do you look at yourself in the mirror? Like the person you see?
God has a special place in hell for thieves like you. God doesn't pay every day, but He always pays. Think about that when you put your head on the pillow tonight.

Spirit Bear: I was told per phone that my dazzlewhite account would b cancelled if they got the return shipment before July 2nd - It was returned way before July 2nd (I have all the confirmation #'s) and my checking account was STILL charged! Keep checking your account to make sure!

Chuck Turner - You are AWESOME! I have read all 5 pages of complaints, my girl friend and I both were scammed, both charged the shipping all the other charges others have been charged. You have done so much work to research this - I want you to know we really appreciate YOUR efforts and all the other comments and suggestiions from all that have been scammed, too.

We are totally willing to be part of a class action suit. I plan to file a complaint to the FTC as you advised, Chuck. We are just as burned as everyone else! And, I'm a bit wary that we will continue to be charged, even with all the cancellations and all. She put hers on a Visa and has refuted those charges and they are dropping them for her.

My checking acct has been charged, so I am going to check into a "charge back" as has been suggested here.

Thanks again, Chuck.

I agree they are crooks. I did the same thing and they charged me before the trial was over. Luckily I have Bank of America and I called them as soon as I noticed and they stopped the charges and are investigating. Luckily, I was able to get my money back.

It is a disgrace that today no official bodies do anything about it to avoid this form of scamming.

Their website that promotes this free trial is confusing, unclear and deceptive.

I just found out by checking my credit card account that I have been charged £37.00 for something that I didn't order.

There are companies out there that do offer good deals and provide free trials without conning you.

I called my credit card company to dispute the transaction and I will also make an official complaint for theft against them at the police station if on Monday they do not reimburse the money.

Good advice to anyone (as well me) don't let yourself fooled.

Sounds like the Cellutone and Body Solutions Cellulite System scam. Look at these two links:

Maybe the same scammers?

I was scammed too, and found out 5 min. ago that there is no such a thing as Charge back for your account, but I will fill out papers from my CC and request a dispute for all the charges from Dazzle White and SmileBrite, about $300 so far over the last month. The CC representative said that I do not have to pay any of those charges, and in 2-3 weeks I will hear from them on this issue. I suspended my CC, just in case, and found out that if a new CC will be issued, there is no way for the same crooks to charge you in the future. Hope this helps.

I also fell pray to dazzlewhite my credit card was charged $58.76 for the product when i contacted the company to cancel and request a refund the customer service person was really rude and nasty she acted as if i had the problem. This is so unfair for consumers to fall prey to these online leeches to take money from hardworking individuals especially in the tough economy we are facing right now. I wish someone can petition or start a platform to sue the heck out of these companies because they should not have the right to get away with stealing our money.

Man...I am so pissed right now. I woke up this morning to my girlfriend buzzing about this great product that she purchased and how she is so excited and this and that. She explained to me what it was and I immediately asked her if she entered any cc info. AND SHE DID! So we are now one of the MANY unfortunate, hard-working "suckers" that have been taken on this scam roller coaster. I have already contacted my bank and they said I need to come in and fill out an Affidavit Of Fraud. They will then investigate the situation. I have cancelled both my girlfriends card and my card (checking/debit cards). I don't exactly know how that works though. If I cancel the card I would think that they would not be able to charge me anymore. But now I am wondering if they charge the old card number if that will link to my account number. I will have to ask when I go to the bank tomorrow. I will definately let everyone know any info that I get. I have not yet been charged the $58.xx. Only the $1.95 has been charged which is pending and un-removable. I am thinking of trying to cancel the product as soon as their office is open (5am - 8pm mst) but feel like I need to make my next few moves very carefully to avoid any further problems. I don't want to bring it to their attention that I am cancelling until my bank has blocks on my accounts and DazzleCrap has no access to my new card numbers. I feel like if I call and cancel before going into the bank that they will immediately charge me the 58 bucks. Man what a headache. That $200 bucks the dentist charges to whiten your teeth sure sounds like a great deal right about now. I wish everyone good luck with any progress on receiving their money back and also bringing these scammers down. I feel better now that I vented...PHEWW!

I too, have been ripped off by DazzleWhite. I am a senior citizen, living on a fixed income. I have to check my bank account daily for fraudulent charges. I was able to get my money refunded from DazzleWhite and the other product associated with it. However, I continue to get nearly daily charges from places I have never heard of. When I call them to cancel, they make it clear that any charges already incurred cannot be refunded. I appealed to my bank and was told I would have to cancel my debit card to stop these charges.
Dazzle White is a total rip off, thus far I have incurred over $170.00 in charges and never even received the original trial products to begin with.

I was also scammed by dazzlewhite, what a mess!
They've charged my credit card for other charges I never ordered,
I too sent the package back, got a receipt from the p.o..
I've cancelled my card, filled out numerous forms.
I will, and have learned never to order over the internet.
If it's too good to be true, chances are it's a lie from hell, this sure was!

I too was suckered into this mess. both were cancelled and sent back but still no reversal on my credit card, then the $3.24 came up that had to be cancelled because I didn't read or understand the small print. and now this weekend I get a $7.26 membership charge on a diet program that tells me it was sent because I signed up for dazzlewhite, It just keeps on coming. I think I will have to cancell the credit card before it will all stop.

Further information & actions.

I noticed that the DazzleWhite website displays the logos of WebMD, CBS News, ABC and the New York Times. I also remember seeing that CNN was aligned with them. I have gone to each of these sites and let them know that about the Scam. See below. Perhaps if we all do this we might get somewhere.

Copy of emails sent to the Contact Us site of CBS News, ABC, CNN and the New York Times.

I want you to know that a website, WWW.DazzleWhite.com uses your logo to imply that you support DazzleWhite.

This company, located at:

1021018 Alberta Ltd 11 Athabascan Avenue Suite 240 Sherwood Park, Alberta T8A 6H2, Canada

Rips consumers off through a misleading trial scam. You sign up for the trial and are automatically sign up for other memberships, even if you specially reject the offers.

They also state in differnt Web-Ads that WebMd, CNN CBS, ABC and New York Times support them and have writen articals and reports about them.

Due to this alignment, I feel that I can not trust your information. I will tell all my friends.

I have reported DazzleWhite to /link removed/ an online business monitoring community. DazzleWhite has also been reported on http://www.complaintsboard.com. The direct link is Dazzlewhite Pro Teeth — Scam, theives, liars

By the way any "endorsements" given are probably faked, the product description does not match the instructions sent. Also, there is no way that results NEED to be given time to see IF it works. Their research should be clear, otherwise the consumer is PAYING for their research. This same view should apply to ALL products and services...if the seller can't back up the claim then they have no right charging for the product!

I was caught by this scam too and the DentechWhitening as well. The ads say that it costs $1.95 for Dazzelwhite and $0.99 for Dentech.
And there is no information about further charges or when it will be delivered.
However, about 17 days later, I received a DZW first and 3 days later I received a DTW. I check my account and they charged me $3.24 for webacess, $58.76 for DZW, $88.97 for DTW and $9.99 for club member. What the ###s!
I call them and they also told me like they told you guys, the account is closed and I will receive no further charges.
About the DZW they said I have to return the trial ( Thank God, I haven’t used it because it looks really cannot be trusted, the box was opened and no direction or manual) and it MAY be refundable. I just contact them on July 23rd and their address is DazzelWhite PO box 10233 Des Moines IA 50381.
The second one is DTW and it costs $88.97. I canceled it two day ago and they still charged me later. I want to return the trial, and according to their Term and Condition (which I studied later in their website with small print) that I must have the Return Number. However, I cannot get this number by the phone. I have to contact them by email. And ofcourse, they answered me but not the number I need.
I am stuck with them. Hence, I contacted with my bank which is USBank. They put the Electronic Deposit Adjustment for the amount $88.97, $9.99 and $3.24. In addition, I cancel the checking number of my current card and make a new card. About the DZW, $58.76 is still in authorization so I have to wait until it posts on my acc and I continue to claim the dispute.
I hope your guys’ bank also can give you back the money which these damned companies charged you. Good luck to all of you!
However, Does anyone know about the money which the bank gave me back is constant or they just deposit for me while they are investigating? Because I read about these somewhere but I don’t remember and it said like about “ the bank just deposits the amount for avoiding overdraft fee for customer while we are investigating. After 90 days, the charges may be rebills if we have evidence you authorized it”.
If anyboby know, please contact me at tracy_89dn@yahoo.com. Thank a lot.

Well this is scarry, I ordered both Dazzle and EZ and immediately returned both products with tracking numbers attached. I have not seen additional charges on my cc, but it has been just a couple of weeks!
How can this happen to people? There should be something we can do! I just hope and pray that I have no more charges on my cc! My husband will not be happy, and I really hate having to take time out of my busy schedule to deal with such FRAUD! I can say I will NEVER order anything like this again over the internet.
There should be some kind of law that prevents this from happening. Such a scam!
Thanks everyone out there and I will keep everyone posted as to my charges, if any!?!? Anyone have any suggestions as to what can be done?

What Theives! I too fell for this one.. I am ashamed of myself. I did finally get hold of the "company" was treated horribly, was talked to rudley and refused for me to be able to speak with a supervisior. I threatened contacting my attorney IF they tried to take this $58.00 out of my account for a stupid tube of toothpaste.
They gave me a confirmation number, and told me to write it on the outside of the unopened package and return it. I did... and have not been charged the $58.00 for the Dazle White rip off however I am being charged $3.00 and some change in a monthly fee I'm guessing. My card says from www.V/insidersecretips.com or something like that. How do I stop this? I'm not even sure if it's from the Dazle White ordeal. Geez! Never again. Very ashamed of being so stupid.

I fell for it too, but I called my bank and canceled my debit card (reported it lost) when dazzle white told me I would still have to pay 58 bucks for a "free trial." So far I was only charged the 3 bucks for shipping of the two products and I hope canceling my debit card is all I need to do. I feel like such an idiot.

Actually, I wanted to try the product to see if it worked before I spent that kind of money on it. I sent it back as soon as I received it because it's nothing but crap. It's dishonest to claim that you have a "free sample" and then charge ppl 60 dollars for it AND sign them up for other hidden services. I skimmed through the terms of services but totally missed most of the offending things because it's buried randomly throughout the document. Luckily I caught it before they managed to get any of my money.

Whether or not you feel people deserve to be cheated because they were drawn to the free trial offer, doesn't change the fact that this company is committing fraud.

THERE IS A WAY TO FIGHT BACK. Thanks to all the comments here I was able to cancel before being defrauded.

AFTER I GOT MY CANCELLATION NUMBER, I thanked the person on the phone (after all they are just working at a job) and urged them to quit working for a company whose sole purpose was to defraud people out of their money.

I told them that they cannot work for crooks and come away from the job 'unstained'. Their spirt will be permanantly seared, and they will become unable to tell the difference between right and wrong.

Be polite, but forceful, in urging them to quit and to find a reputable, honest company.

It was really so unfortunate to be a victim of this suckers. I have used their live chat to inquire about my package since it's been months since I placed the order and I haven't received the package. The next day, my cc was charged with less than $10 - for what reasons, I'm not aware of but it said web access - B...y H..l imagine they would even charge you for inquiring thru this site http://www.dazzlewhite.com/contactus.php. I will request for refund and report them in ic3 http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx. Hope they will be closed down.

I came across this site and wanted to share an experience I had yesterday. I went to my mail box to get my mail and saw a package from a company named Advanced Wellness Research Inc. I knew that I had not ordered anything, so I was not expecting anything to come in the mail. I could tell that it contained 2 bottles from the feel of it. I then went to my online banking account and saw at least 5 purchases of different products from various online companies. I opened the package to find a bottle of Pur Rez V and Acai Berry Pro caps. After calling the company who gave me the run around about them being bought out by another company. I then called another number that was listed on my checking account next to Easy White Teeth, the woman I spoke with did tell me the last 4 digits from the card that was used. It turned out to be my old debit card that my bank was supposed to cancel four months ago due to a security breach that was found which included my numbers. Fortunately, it was found early and the purchases only added up to approx. 30 dollars. So, it can happen even when you haven't bought anything. I now only purchase items from known sites and only use my paypal. No matter what though, we all do need to be very careful these days.

It is completely true - they are somehow able to continuously charge and charge your account though you have clearly cancelled the order. How is this legal? Advice - cancel your card immediately... OR they will just keep charging. I am a sucker to both Britesmile and Dazzelwhite as well as AcaiAdvanced. Been getting charged even after I cancelled, charged after I was assured over the phone the order was cancelled. Unfortunately, they did not confirm this cancellation via an e-mail as did th "auto-enrollment" to Live Lean and a few of the others they auto-enrolled me in. At leaste Live Lean verified cancellation via an e-mail so I have proof when I go to my bank.

They refuse to give CS Rep full name though these frauds have all of our information. Hate to say it, but shame on me for ordering. . . . .

ONE THING DID COME TO MIND - Who supported these banner Ads? YAHOO? Where did you see these ads for free trials and free samples? There is another party at fault here as well. I didn't search for AcaiAdvanced and I wasn't even interested in losing weight. BUT after seeing these banner ads over and over & over & over & over everytime I logged in and out of YAHOO - I got curios and looked into it. The Acai Berry as well as "a stay at home mom's secret for whitening teeth" (BriteSmile&Dazzlewhite - free samples pay for shipping only) after seeing this 100 times - I looked and bad on my part I ordered. I am definitely interested in who paid for these ads to reach me and entice me? Was in Yahoo? How did you become prey?

I too have today found out that I have been suckered.

I am out of pocket to the tune of £47 and all I have to show for this is a tiny trial tube of DazzleWhite. I spent 1h hour and 20 minutes with my Bank Manager this morning. Have cancelled my debit card and have reported DW to the Fraud Squad and to the $L&DCS Debit Card Disputes (HO)

I don't normally use my debit card, but the initial payment of p & p was so small, ended up costing me over £9, and then today another £38.

I did get my money back from Dazzle White, after 2 weeks of waiting (and after more than one month from subscribing there), but without the Webaccess and Membership fees, which I canceled at the same time with Dazzle White. I canceled the CC, just to be sure that no future charges will occur, and the new card will not be charge, as per customer rep from the CC bank. Still waiting for a last refund from SmileBrite of $85, which they said (in a cancellation email) within 45 days and without any CC claim because that would "delay the refund process", a big BS, so I would pass the 60 days for claiming. In spite of their email, I will file with the CC a dispute. Keep your banks and CC companies informed about these crooks, because in this way no new costumers will be caught in this scheme.

Dazzle White refunded my $59 two days ago. They sent me an email on 7/27 and the refunded transaction was shown on 7/30 in my account. What I found to be funny was that I had to call DazzleWhite a few times regarding the package I sent back to them. I had the package insured, and was told by the post office that it will take no longer than 5 business days for the package to arrive to their company. 2 or 3 weeks later (14-21 business days), I called DazzleWhite, and they said that they did not receive my package. I, then, told them that I had the package insured, and that I sent it at least 2 weeks ago. It had to arrive by now. The guy on the phone said, "Ok, please wait a week or so for the money to be credited to your account." WHAT THE HELL?! I also had to point out the fact that they were able to take my $59 the moment I entered my credit card # but it takes them a week or 2 to refund my money. I'm just grateful that I got my money back, and never again will I buy anything online unless I am sure that I am purchasing my items from a well-known company that is known for customer satisfaction.

To be safe, I had my bank close down my card, and open up a new account.

I too fell victim to these people. Consider myself a educated person, don't know how I fell for it! Regardless, I'm in so far for $88.97 with Dentech and hopefully canceled the Dazzle White in time. What I can't find is a email or phone number for Axis Wellness to cancel that and try to get a refund of $9.99 from them (for what? I have no idea).
I did get a bit of information off of "/link removed/; a gentleman that says to send them and email saying:

1. I'd like a copy of the original form where I checked an agreement for the deduction of the $88.97 (or however much your card was charged).
2. You charged my account 14 days after I requested my "free" trial not 15 days as stated in your terms.
3. I am again asking for a FULL refund of the money deducted from my account immediately. If I do not receive a FULL refund I will be contacting a lawyer and the state attorney general's office with all the others who have been defrauded by Dentechwhitening about filing a class action lawsuit.

Ok, I too got scammed on this one. However, I just called back the cancellation number and asked for a "Master Cancel" to cancel the free trial shipment from ever shipping. She, of course, told me this couldn't be done. Then I said well, I guess I'll just call the BBB and FTC and have my bank do a charge back of the fees because you are just a big scam. She put me on hold to talk to her supervisor and came back on saying she'd done the master cancel. That I would never get a shipment and never be charged again. She also said that any charges that had occurred (The $1.95 shipping and possibly the $58.76) would be credited back to my account. I got an e-mail immediately saying they had refunded my account for my particular order number as well. I guess I will see if that worked. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I did call the other two companies and cancel before my trial periods were over so hopefully I don't see any charges from them either.
