I am a 57 year old college educated female that has had a p/c for 12 years, but I feel like an idiot right now. I was reading a news article (CNN) and noticed to the side a story from a "mom" that lives in a town 30 miles from me about fantastic inexpensive teeth-whitening. Her piece was very "down-to-earth" and believable. You order just 2 free trials and pay a very small shipping fee to get snow white teeth. I fell for the SCAM, entered my credit card info, had second thoughts, and clicked on my bank account. In less than one minute, the $1.95 shipping plus $59.95 had been taken from me. I called my bank and was told the charges were pending and nothing could be done until the charges went thru. I called Dazzlewhite and the thief said I would have to return the product, get a tracking number (which requires paying EXTRA postage) before I could CANCEL or get a REFUND! All of this took place in less than TEN MINUTES. You also have a deadline to get it back to them or you'll still be charged!

What kind of country is this? DO NOT ORDER THE FREE TRIAL FROM THESE CROOKS! If this product was so good, they would not stoop to scamming and stealing from honest folks. NEVER AGAIN will I fall for such CONS on the internet! If you order this stuff, you will be sorry and like me...feel like a fool!

My story above (scam, theives, liars) only gets worse! Now they are sending me emails pretending to be the "good" guys to get more personal info from me! Can you believe this? I do believe they change their product name frequently to keep the scam and money flowing. I've found many complaints about products that sound exactly the same, but with other names. Such as: "IvoryBrites", "Max White Teeth", etc. It was confusing to me why I did not find more Dazzlewhite stories. If you Google it, you will find pages of websites that sell/give free trials. Look on the right side of the page where you'll find it listed also under Target, BizRate, & other well known businesses. Click on them...they do not have such a product! It's shoes, clothing with "dazzle" or "white" in the description!

At one point today, there were THREE ads on this page, YES, this page for DAZZLEWHITE. All of this blows my mind. I will say I've learned a big lesson that, God as my witness, will never fall for this trap again. I will say these characters have learned how to get rich fast thanks to the trust of other folks. Please keep the warning going...I'm usually skeptical about even small things, but not anymore. This is sickening to know what some of our country has stooped to.

I sent my 10th email to Dazzlewhite today. As I've said before...these folks are making mega bucks from honest, trusting people. They are a SCAM, CROOKS, LIARS; no better than bank robbers in my opinion. You MUST cancel your bank accounts; the charges will not stop, no matter what you do. I know it's a big pain to do this, but I personally cannot pay these theives $60 every 3-4 weeks for nothing. You can call, email, chat online, return the trial sample unopened...the charges will not stop! Also each person you speak with will promise you no more charges & refunds. Read all the complaints & comments. I have not found ONE that has gotten their refund & all charges stopped. I thought mine was after cancelling my cc, but 3 weeks later on my NEW cc, there it was $58.76. I do not have any of their stupid scam porduct...returned it same day it arrived certified mail, unopened. We must stop these crooks before they leave the country for good. They are using many addresses & names...Dazzlewhite, Ivory Brite, Maxi White, EZ Bright. That's why it's so difficult to stop them. The "mom" with many names that only paid shipping charges for the free trial just happens to live near you because your IP server lets them know where you are online. Very clever, don't you think? It certainly has dooked a lot of very educated citizens, myself included. Please tell anyone that has fallen for this & feels like a fool to please post their complaint. It will help all of us to stop this & possibly get some $$ back!

To SMARTBOI96: I wouldn't hold my breath that you came out without being scammed just yet...I canceled everything as requested, returned product within 14 days of placing order (certified & unopened like I was told to do), and even closed my credit card account, contacted my bank within 10 minutes of placing order, and opened a NEW cc acct after 3 weeks. Guess what? They charged me $58.76 on my NEW cc acct 3 weeks AFTER they signed for my unopened "trial pkg" sent certified mail. Read all the terms you can find...these crooks are scam artists, no matter what they say in an email, online chat, or live on the phone. My bank had to get them off of my back & out of my $$$ when I filed a formal dispute with every detail, email, online chat, and a copy of the folks around the globe that took the time to complain on this website. Maybe you are not one of countless others that did everything in the "terms" and still got charged, but I would keep an eye on my bank account. Read the number of folks that never received a "trial" product to return or got it after the 14 days had pasted. What are they supposed to do? If this product is so great, why do they lie and cheat to keep posting their ads?

To DJ64:
I found the number for you to try and cancel the Axis Wellness: [protected]. Hope this helps, but keep checking your bank statement regularly. I was told by countless online chats, phone calls, and emails that I would receive full refunds, and all "memberships" canceled. But they were all lies. I had to cancel my cc acct and dispute in writing to my bank before these scam artists stopped taking my $$$. I still check it daily, even though this nightmare began in May. Good luck!

To Addie M #1, 2, & 3: I know most of us on this complaint board admitted to being too trusting, and some (including me) acting very foolishly by giving you our personal financial info (which you certainly wasted no time taking advantage of)...but in the last ABOVE THREE comments about how to stop you from robbing us of even more $$$$; you have so cleverly changed your name and phone number! If that doesn't shout SCAM ARTISTS, I do not know what does. Look folks...the company is suddenly called DazzleSMILEpro (instead of Dazzlewhite Pro) and the correct original phone number is: [protected], not [protected].
Addie, I am sure everyone that placed an order for a "free trial" paying merely the shipping charge would much rather have their $$$$ returned, and you can keep YOUR CONCERNS. This website would not exist if you had a good product and ran an HONEST business.

THANK YOU ANATHEMA!

I could not have said it better myself...if you scroll back to the top of page 1, you'll see I started this "complaint" discussion in May. I hate that so many folks followed in my footsteps, but I did find out I was not the only TRUSTING person left on this planet. Without a doubt, there are probably thousands more that have not taken the time or do not want to admit they screwed up by giving these scam artists their personal info. I despise anyone that takes from others dishonestly rather than getting a "real" job. I read these comments daily...many say the same things I did (how do they sleep @ nite, would you like this done to your family member, etc). A big puzzle to me is why GOOGLE prints these complaints day after day for months, yet continue to place their Dazzle ads on this same page time after time! I guess to some $$$ is $$$$ no matter how you get it. But what goes around, comes around.

Att. Andrewlexington
I started this "blog" when I was scammed in May, 2009. Go back to the the first page to read the first complaint. What else do you need to do? First these crooks are fantastic liars...will say anything to get you off the phone or online chat. I did EVERYTHING within minutes of ordering, returned my product registered mail unopened within 30 minutes of it arriving in my box, talked to several reps, emailed, requested countless times for order to be canceled immediately, called my bank & canceled my cc...guess what? Three weeks after I got my NEW cc, they charged me AGAIN! I confirmed with the USPS that the pkg had been received by them, along with hundreds the same day as mine.
You need to contact your bank asap, tell them your card was stolen, and cancel it. Some folks have had to switch banks. I'm telling you this can turn into your worse nightmare. By the way, they are pulling this scam all around the world, not just USA. Good luck, watch your bank acct DAILY, and don't believe anything these thieves tell you.

ATTENTION: Carolyn Y., Stellaa, A. Peachie, Sharon Kopecky...

Do you not ever feel any guilt because you are choosing to take money from innocent, trusting folks that have no idea the nightmare they are stepping into? There is no doubt in my mind that children and elderly people are having to "make do" with less food, clothing, and many other items that they need because of your scam. Innocent little kids and senior citizens that can't hurt a fly doing without because you refuse to find a job that doesn't rob, cheat, or steal from others that have never wronged you in any way. How do you look at yourself in the mirror? Like the person you see?
God has a special place in hell for thieves like you. God doesn't pay every day, but He always pays. Think about that when you put your head on the pillow tonight.

Well said and good advice. Here are the websites to file complaints:

I got ripped off by these ### as well.I thought I'd pay bout 3 pounds for both products but then I saw a transaction of 16 pounds and I already knew I was f***ed up so I went on the internet and read almost everything about this scam and I learned my lesson. But listen to me when I tell you how to solve your problems with them.

The first thing to do is to CALL THE F**K DOWN! Block your debit/credit ( worse case is credit card ) card immediately and re-make it with the help of your bank. DO IT NOW!

Next step would be to get on the website of these ### and access the live chat and cancel your order/membership immediately, because if you don't they will keep asking for money since thats WHAT THEIR TERMS STATE! BUT BE POLITE AND BY POLITE I MEAN EFFIN POLITE, ALRIGHT? In about an hour you will get confirmation for your cancelation on your e-mail. Keep that really safe for the next years.

Next step is to call the number which the guy on the live chat gives you, and call that on working hours. NOW VERY IMPORTANT! MAKE SURE YOU MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND YOU WILL RETURN THE PRODUCT BECAUSE IT HAS CAUSED PHYSICAL DAMAGE TO YOU AND YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED AT ALL! And then go to the post office and ship the item on the address you just took from the phone call.

I had this problem also with AcaiBurn. I got charged 79.28 dlls. I found out that all of these free trials had a VARIMI LLC company in common and I reported this agency to the FBI. Report it so that this does not continues.

I wish I had found this before I fell for this scam! Ugh! I have read ALL the posts, and acted on a couple by stopping my c/ card and staring it up under a new number. My bank is aware of this company already and are doing thier best to resolve my dispute.

I explained that I only signed up for the trial, not a membership...at no point was I made aware of this. If I had been I would'nt have gone for the product. A membership taking £100 a month? I can do the maths, in three months I could have gone to my own dentist for instant results. I thought I was getting something that would work at a fraction of the cost, not something that would equal what I would pay in a dentsists chair.

My bank asked me to get a cancellation letter, I have just got off the phone with them telling them that Hell would freeze over before I got anything in writing, its hard enough to get it over the phone! (I have tried and get no answer, number invalid etc and so on) My bank also is aware this 'company' has many tentacles and operates very quickly to strip accounts using the 'terms and conditions' as a lever to do so.

After reading through all of this, I have also mentioned to my bank that a gentleman here got charged on his new card, even after the old one was stopped! So now they have something new they didn't know to watch for before.

I hope I can come back in a couple of days with something positive. The letter I got from my bank wasn't encoraging, after ringing and speaking to an adviser I feel a little more reassured.
I'll type what my bank put that made me get on the phone to argue my case a bit more and explain I had been scammed, was not aware of membership etc.

Here is the letter I received from my bank...

I write following your recent enquiry about the recurring transaction on your c/card.

I hope it will help if I explain how the Visa/MasterCard payment system works in this situation. When you give your card details to a retailer for a free trail or a payment for a regular service, you may be agreeing to set up a continuos authority. This will be explained in the terms and conditions of the retailer.

In these circumstances the retailer is then able to take payments from your card until they receive a written requet to cancel. Charges can continue to be debited even though the account is closed.

Before I can return any charges, I need a copy of your cancellation letter. I am unable to return any transactions dated less than fifteen days after the cancellation date.

We can't check individual charges on your monthly statements as they are sent out automatically. So can you please check your statements and let me know if any more appear after you have cancelled, sending me a copy of the cancellation letter. Once I have received this I will return the charge immediately and credit your account.

I just hope more than anything that I have stopped them taking more money off me, if I can recoup the funds under misrepresentation, great, if not I just hope I have managed to stop them fleecing me more.

Dear Nolan C I paid for the first one! Then got billed for stuff I never received off companies I have NEVER heard of or signed up to! So tell me, what am I supposed to return eh? Membership to bogus companies, your crappy product?

How dare you? Didn't understand your terms and conditions? I signed up for a trial, not a membership, your terms and conditions did'nt bloody well cover that did they? Your site is deliberately misleading and purposely set up to make the terms immpossible to read. If it was easier, or clearer...NO-ONE WOULD SIGN UP YOU IDIOT!

You are nothing but a bunch of scammers, how dare you 'respectfully' address me, you don't even know the meaning of the word you ###!

NolanC, your numbers don't work, I am UK based, so your numbers and cutting and pasting are equally pointless.

Why don't you do something useful...like putting a cancellation process online?

And more to the point, when I cancel with you, please, tell me how do I cancel all the other companies that you piggy backed onto my account.
If these 'companies' were providing a service, it would still be a total piss take as I didn't sign up to them, but as they are charging me for 'services' that don't materialise, its completely illegal. You are a bunch of thieves and I can't wait to see your sorry ###'s in court.

@dillbob - here is where complaints can be filed - the BBB has no power to prosecute and all they will do is write to the company (who will just ignore them!) so it's better to file a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). They have the power to bring a legal case and get these thieves into a courtroom.

www.FTC.gov and click on file a complaint.

There is also www.econsumer.gov and www.ic3.gov (FBI consumer division)

Best thing to do is cancel your c/card and get a new one. That way they can't take any more money from you. If you don't and you don't cancel with ALL the bogus companies taking out of your account, you WILL continue to get stolen from.
Cancelling with all the other companies is impossible, I tried, I was given wrong numbers time and again. Even if you do get to cancel with them all, there is no certainty they won't use another company to withdraw your money.

If you do manage to read a copy of the terms and conditions, there is a clause in it that says they reserve the right to change the terms and conditions without informing you. I.e. letting other 'companies' have your c/card details.

I can't stress enough, close your c/card and get a new one. Fully inform your bank of what has happened and hopefully they can recoup funds for you. At the very least, Dazzlewhite and its many guises will not be able to extort another penny from you.

Hey Shane2, I can cut and paste too! And guess what? I don't think you really thought this through...but all the cutting and pasting you have done is in your profile so all I have to do is go along that and cut and paste too! AND LOL! ALL the cutting and pasting you have done leads me straight to other company names I didn't even know of before! Every thread you have cut and pasted on tells me that yet another product is linked to the same company, indicating a bigger scam than you care to admit!

Ok, the next email I send to the FTC will tell them to look up your name on here and all the relevant companies you are defending so they can see easily for themselves what a bunch of conning ### you are!

Hell, I will even send them a link to make it even easier! You have just shown the way to track down all the associated companies with Dazzlewhite, Acaiburn etc and so on, cheers!

Yes thanks to shane2 and his co-workers prolific use of cut and paste there is now a nice little trail of fraudulent companies and product names for the authorities to follow. The latest ones are called shimmering whites and Farend Services Ltd - the latter an offshore holding in North Cyprus. Looks like Just Think Media are trying to hide their ill gotten gains in Nicosia but that won't stop the law from catching them as they live in Canada.

Will be forwarding a nice list of these scams to www.recol.ca which is the police service in Canada for reporting economic crime online: https://www.recol.ca/intro.aspx

Found this on [redacted] dot com ( I guess he might have changed it by now though...)

"I did some research and I found out that the owner of these companies is Jesse Willms. He has owned many internet scam companies. He used to sell counterfeit software and was sued by Microsoft and Symantec.

I have found out that Jesse Willms lives in Sherwood Park Alberta, Canada. I talked to somebody that I went to high school with who knows Jesse. He hates the kid. He also, gave me his phone number. His personal phone number is [protected]. If any of you want to get a hold of this guy, you can call that number. I guarantee it works, because I called him and he left me a rude reply saying, SHOULD HAVE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUCKER! then he had a smug laugh and hung up on me."

Yep, I trusted the "Free qample of Dazzle White for $1.95." So far, just in the month of Sept alone they have scamed my checking account thru my Debit card of about $181.00 We need to get a huge Class Action Law Suit going. File a complaint form with your State Attorney General's office, Cancel your credit card, The charges taken out of my account are from "Varimi LLC" in Miami, Florida but you can't reach them either. Dazzle White cleared out their warehouse in Des Moines Iowa according to Mark Wallinan an Investigator for the Iowa Attny. Gen's office (who wants to hear your story too =[protected] ) New address is "Just Think" 22100 E. 28th Ave #100 Aurora Co.80019. Cheryl at The Attorney General's office in Colorado at [protected] (attorney.general@state. co.us) wants to hear from all of us. Also try another email site (stop.fraud@state.co.us ) Denver BBB isn't very helpful. I got a BBB rating of "F" on DazleWhite from a national BBB website. They said recently they have had over 521 complaints . We should also file complaints on these creeps with Local Postal Inspectors and of course with the Fraud Dept. of your bank. also contact =FBI.gov/majcases/fraud and internet schemes. and www.ice.gov an agency that works with FBI and National Internet White Collar Crime. Good Luck D.G.

Has happened to me also, this company offers a 14 days trial to there idol white tooth whitener, stating you have 14 days to cancel. On going to their online webpage Dazzle Smile to cancel my trial offer, states this option is not available. After cancelling my credit card, trying to contact them buy phone, hopeless. The only option I mangaed to actually communicate in chat was to get some person named Autumn on the Dazzel Smile web page, finally she told me I had been removed from the auto shipment programe, with conformation sent to my email. Now I have to dispute the charges in credit account. She has supplied me with an 0800 NZ number, to do this. I had sent an email days ago asking them to cancel my auto shipment and reverse the charges, only to get a reply my credit request had been denied.

You signed up for our 14 day satisfaction guarantee for a lifetime supply of the product. You had 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel the trial which you failed to do. Your credit card was charged under our terms and conditions that were clearly stated on our order form, your email receipt and packing slip, and is non-refundable.

~~ PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL ~~

Take a deep breath and contact them saying you were aware of the conditions of the agreement, called and cancelled within the time period and that you were shocked and appaled that you were charged. Tell them that if money is not refunded that you will be forced to file fraud charges with the bank. They play dirty, so you play dirty got it! You will get your money back. After money is refunded I recommended closing bank account. I hope this helps

No matter what happened, contact company and let them know that you were aware of the terms of enrollment, cancelled within the 14 days and were shocked you were charged further. Demand a refund and let them know if you do not receive a refund, you will be forced to file fraud chartges with the bank. They play dirty, so you play dirty, got it. They will refund. I recommend cancelling bank account after refund. It's stressful but take a deep breath and don't be too hard on yourself, it's just one of those tough lessons.

I have also been a victim of this 'dazzle white' scam!
I have tried calling all the phone numbers given and none of them are connecting for me! I am very frustrated as there has been over $200 of unauthorised payments being debited from my credit card! I have been to the bank and changed my credit card number and they have still managed to debit money from my new account- a number they were never given! I have now sent back all products they have sent me and enclosed a note insisting that I receive no more of the product and that my contract or order listing be canceled immediately. I never committed to any supply apart from the free trial of the product.
I am in Australia and find it very frustrating not being able to contact these thugs. I will now be canceling my credit card altogether. I do not know what to do about canceling the whole thing with this company as I fear that just sending the product back with a note is not suffice. I want my money back!

Yes Dazzle White got me too. They get your credit card for a $1.95 trial and then lay it to you. I called for a return and they said they will stop charging my credit card and send the unused portion and any new received product. I will receive an E-mail within 24 hours with the info. NOT! I never got an e-mail and no Return authorization number or where to send it. Can we stop these thieves? I can't afford 80+ dollars monthly for some chicken ### pens to whiten my teeth. I have called my credit card and I am stopping any payments.

I to was inspired by the lovely mom story and was scammed. These people immediately began sending more product and charging my credit card. I didn't even know they were charging me until Wells Fargo (WF) called after only a day or two of multiple charges to let me know they suspect fraud. WF & I ran the 3 months of charges and confirmed fraud, they closed the card and issued a new one. Then WF investigated to determine the Dazzlewhite Pro Teeth "agreement" allowed them to do this and as so it even rolled onto my new card! Now I've had to close my credit card with WF, whom I've been with for 20 years. WF says there is nothing they can do about it.

Lesson - Don't buy ANYTHING ONLINE! The crooks outnumber the good guys. If you can't go down to the local sears store (or similar) to get it like in the old days, you probably don't need it. This entire experience has $ucked.

Yes! I read that SAME CNN article, and I am a fool to believe that if its apart of CNN article, then it must be okay. I ordered both products and I could only get $40 of the 79.95 fee from the Clean Whites product back, and the Dazzle Whites, I had them charge me $87.62 and they won't credit my account for up to two weeks! I had an over draft charge because I didn't expect the money to come out since I CANCELED my enrollment a WEEK before the deadline. So Even if I get my money back from them, I am still out 31.00 for the fee and 39.95 from Clean Whites...Absolute BS. The way they operate is so shady. You can't trust anyone, and its really too bad. It use to be that you could trust companies. You can't afford to help anyone anymore and you surely cannont afford to splurge on yourself. I feel like an idiot, and I am going to investigate filing a compaint with the Better Business Bureau!
