Dell Laptop under basic warranty

My laptop has not been working for. Over a month. I was told it was due to back order on parts. Every time I speak with someone at Dell they give me a different answer. They text me at 2am. And said the parts were in and the technician would be out between 8 am and 6 pm. I called when I got up at 8 an was informed the parts were not in. I got a text at 9 saying they were in and I should be herring from someone. this whole repair has been this way. Don’t know anything for sure. I’m being given the runaround, AL Brown [protected]

Dell DELL Laptop

Kindly refer to my problem about laptop. Laptop getting heat, hang and during running condition laptop get dead automatically. My laptop is in service center. I have been gone 3 or 4 times service center. But my laptop is still not working. I have getting too much lose of my work and time. Warranty is pending till 23rd july, 2023. I want replacement to my laptop as soon as possible.

Dell Warranty

In late April of 2021 I bought a laptop from Dell. That was a mistake. By March of 2022 I had already returned it for warranty issues twice. So I extended my warranty. It expired on the 29th of last month. The laptop is now broken AGAIN. They are refusing to give me ANY KIND OF EXTENSION, even though I have never opened the system a screw came out of it.

Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a swift response and a solution that does not cost money.

Dell Dell XPS 13inch 2-1Service tag (9315) 8CB4FS3

Purchased laptop in subject above on March 25 2023, paid for extended warranty including accidental damage. Today April 5 2023 a accidental damaged occurred, laptop fell on floor and the LCD screen plus frame damaged

bottom right side. I called Dell today April 5 2023 requesting for damaged repairs based on my premium warranty. Dell stated they could not repair product because I have to wait 30 days from purchase date for product repair, The warranty is paid, unfortunately the laptop dropped and received damages. It does not make any sense to wait 30days before I can request product for repair.

I been a dell customer for decades, yet they would not accept my request. So I guess that upon 30 days of purchase I will request repair and I am sure the question will be "Why did you wait so long for request."

Desired outcome: I just want my laptop repaired, it is under the warranty premium.

Dell Reward account issues and dell failure to credit reward for multiple purchases

DELL WON'T PROVIDE MY REWARDS FROM DELL PURCHASE
I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the recent issues I have encountered with my Dell Rewards. Despite Dell fixing the issue of my rewards not being uploaded to my account, I am now being told that I am unable to receive my rewards as the purchase was made before my rewards account was set up. It seems illogical and absurd that after fixing the issue on DELL end, I am now being told that I cannot receive the rewards that were related to the Dell issues, which were not caused by me. It is unacceptable that I am being denied the rewards that I have earned.

Dell Dell laptop

Hello

I would like your help regarding a problem I am having with Dell Greece.

As you will see from the invoices I have attached I bought a Dell in April 2022 it turned out to be problematic and was replaced by Dell.

New Dell G15 5520 After months it started showing problems and this machine has had Windows 11 reinstalled four times I think.

After some time the problems worsened and it started doing a refresh by itself and returning after 1-2 seconds to its previous state.

Of course, all these months I am in constant contact with Dell and they suggest some solutions.

The problem is not solved, it continues and their technician comes and changes my motherboard.

The same situation continues and another technician comes and changes my hard drive without solving the problem.

I also send them videos with screen recording so that they have a specific view of what is happening and do not think that I am lying to them.

After all this they take the machine to their repair center to check it.

After four days they return my laptop and have changed the screen, motherboard and RAM.

For two days Everything seems fine And on the third day after the repair the same problem starts again.

Since then I have been constantly making support requests through Dell support and no one answers me. I talk to Dell America and they say we will see.

I ask for your help as an official manufacturer and request the immediate replacement of the machine with one of its own.

All major machine parts have been replaced and the problem persists.

I'm beginning to believe that this particular model has a manufacturing defect with the entire series that came out.

The invoice above says it has a 2 year warranty please it is absolutely right for Dell to replace it for me it is not possible to have an unhappy customer without it arriving I have paid 1,200 euros and have a defective machine in my hands.

Dell Adapter for laptop

This company sent the wrong sized adapter for my laptop. They were shipped together, but the adapter was 45w when it should have been 65.

They refused to admit their mistake, and then said time had run out to complain. Regardless of the timeframe, they should correct their error.

I am enclosing a screen shot of the case number.

I was put on hold over and over again, and just give a complete runaround.

Who made the mistake? Dell.

Who should admit the mistake and correct it? Dell

Desired outcome: I want Dell to admit they sent the wrong sized adapter, and refund my $33.46 I paid to Amazon for the correct sized adapter. I would also like an apology for them sending the wrong adapter.

Well, I feel your pain. I just purchased a Dell xps 8950 for $2500 and got it in and no mouse or keyboard. Now Dell saying I opted to not get them when I only opted to not upgrade to cordless. Now, no hdmi cable and I have to purchase essential components that should have and is included with manufacturers like HP

I will be sending it back to Dell and well they can put this useless thing where the sun don't shine! How would they not send essential cords and cables in order for me to actually use computer. I am done dealing with Dell and shipping everything back asap

Dell Unauthorized Activity by Dell Customer Service Representative

I was having a problem with emails and contacted Dell. They set up a service order with a representative. That representative went on my computer to fix the problem. I paid with a secured visa credit card, however the representative noticed that I had a Paypal balance. After the transaction was completed. I checked my Paypal Account and there was no money in my Paypal balance account 0.00 I have lodged a complaint with Paypal but I doubt I will receive any money, I thought it was illegal to steal a customer's money. Perhaps this employee should be evaluated for similar behaviors of theft and dishonesty.

Dell Alienware laptop

Received laptop in late Dec 2022. Paid almost $4500 for a custom built Alienware laptop. Sound was off. Called tech support who downloaded some drivers and the sound was better for 2 days then reverted back. Sent laptop back to be repaired. They supposedly replaced the questionable parts. Still having the same issue although the paperwork stated it was checked prior to returning. Cannot get a refund as it has been over 30 days even though I have not been able to use the laptop due to the poor sound quality. Transferred back and forth between customer service and tech support with each saying the other had to resolve the issue for a refund. Tech support offered to send me a replacement which was to be a refurbished computer. So I spent $4500 on a brand new custom built laptop only to have it replaced with something used?! I refused replacement and they are refusing to escalate for a refund.

Dell Under Warranty repair and pro support

Dear Dell Executives and the Support Agent neglecting me,

Sorry I missed your call. Im quite disturbed by your “pro support team” I was promised that the issue that I am having with my cpu fan would get fixed the next day. I took time off of a job that I was doing in order to stay home for the technician who was supposed to arrive between 9am and 6pm…. Really vague hours but that’s another issue all together! I waited anxiously worrying the technician may have gotten lost out here as I live in a relatively remote area of southern Oregon (We just got fiber internet service way out here oddly enough! Only had dial up before then but im getting off subject here….agaim). As the sun went down soo did my hopes of getting my nearly $2200 laptop fixed. I use it to run CNC programming (G-code) for one of my several machines as the “From home” part of work that I do. It is imperative to my income and my familys financial stability that these machines remain in active production. This requires a computer for each machine. Some of the coding is very CPU intensive and the modeling requires a decent cpu. That’s why I chose with confidence in the Alienware brand the m17 r5 as You guys have been around forever and are known for quality products and service…..at least I thought.

To say my exp has been miserable is a gross understatement. The technician never showed up and never even bothered to call or write an email to me to let me know I didn’t have to anxiously watch the driveway for a car or van or whatever it is you guys would drive. No info was given to me other then a vague time on a certain date. I had to contact you guys to find out that there was a part delayed until…. FEB. [censored]ING 13th. Now if it was a gpu of Motherboard issue I could understand partially.(No csll no show in inexcusable and downright rude though) But it’s a simple CPU fan I can literally get one next day out here in the in the backwoods from amazon! Yet your “pro service” has to wait weeks!. Its downright neglectful considering I told you guys how despite the fan issue I must still use the computer for my work. This has led to extreme overheating and the whole thing is so loud my neighbors can hear it as it vibrates itself apart to its demise.

Despite this info being given to you guys I get no resolution….nothing just thrown under the rug….welll guess what I wont be thrown under the rug and now that my laptop is nearly unusable it does not run right at all due to overheating and vibrational damage exponentially increased every day you guys neglect me….a single father trying to run a business. Saved a long time for this laptop and to be so disrespected hurts… At this point I can no longer use the laptop at all. This means im loosing money not being able to run my machine. If this would have been handled in a customer centric way….as any high end brand such as yours SHOUD. Then this would have been resolved as I was promised and we wouldn’t be sitting here with me loosing money with a now useless 2200 dollar laptop…..getting no updates at all…. I am so angry and hurt. I will be seeking legal advise as to how to proceed with getting compensated money for the damages suffered due to your general neglegance of this situation. I’ll give you one chance to make this right only because this is my first contact with you and its only fair to hear what you have to say.

With that being said…..Think real hard and use every resource you have available to you before replying to me. If the resolution is inadequate my next email will be going to my lawer.

Dell Repair

I bought my Inspiron 17" Laptop Model # 3793 15 Months ago. I immediately started having problems with the Bluetooth dropping out on my network card. I immediately notified Dell Warranty. They logged in to my laptop and coerced my Bluetooth to come back on. This went on for 15 months.

12-Month Warranty
1st repair. I mailed my laptop to dell repair, where they replaced my Qualcomm card. It Failed
2nd repair. Mailed my laptop to Dell repair, where they conducted an analysis and refused to replace the network card with one from Intel. Analysis-passed. Bluetooth failed.
3rd repair. Mailed my laptop to Dell repair, where they replaced the existing network card with an upgraded network card. Failed again
Non-Warranty
Dell agreed to try to continue repairing my laptop on my old warranty.
1st repair. A technician was sent to my home to replace the same Qualcomm card again. It Failed
2nd repair. A technician was sent to my house to replace the same Qualcomm card and the motherboard. Bluetooth Failed.

I was told in a phone conversation today that Dell had finished repairing my laptop. Dell has a legal obligation to honor my warranty and fix my laptop. In order to continue the repairs, I have to buy another warranty.

My concerns:

1. Why isn't my warranty being honored? Dell failed to repair it.
2. This is your equipment and you should know how to repair it. I think it was obvious they didn't know how.
3. Why are you asking me to buy another warranty when you failed on the original one?

Dell Computer and IT Equipment Recycling Solutions

December 19, 2022, I forwarded to Dell Recycling 350 Hanson Way, Woodland, CA 95776 per the FedEx label generated by the Dell web site. There was prior approval for a credit of $85.00 for the laptop. I have not received the credit. The FedEx tracking number was [protected]. FedEx shows that the package was delivered Wednesday, 12/21/2022 at 2:36pm. Customer Care (Ashisk Kumar Pathak) sent me email closing the case ([protected]) because the laptop was sent to the wrong warehouse IWA the Flower Mound, TX and I failed to have the service tag number. I have copies of the shipping label that printed via the Dell web site for the recycling as PDF.

Desired outcome: I'd appreciate the credit allowance of $85.00.

Dell Keyboards do not work

The keyboard stopped responding, out of the blue. I received a replacement wireless keyboard that did not work. I bought a wireless and a wired keyboard, neither worked. I've completed screens to notify Dell, no response to date. I managed to get Dell's Mohammed A who remotely accessed my Inspiron and told me to turn everything off. On restart, keyboard did not work.

Dell Dell laptops

We keep getting the runaround and we keep getting disconnected and then nobody calls us back. We keep getting transferred to many different people who are trying to sell us an upgrade or trying to sell us a new hard drive, but the Dell rep who said that they were going to send someone here to replace the hard drives, because we are under warranty is no longer contacting us and anyone else at Dell even though they look at our notes tells us that it is not in our warranty. They also say our hard drive is not solid state and that is how it was sold to us, and they never told us that we needed a solid-state hard drive. They say that it is not under warranty because it is not part of our original original configuration, which we were never warned about when we were buying the laptops. We are never going to buy a Dell product ever again, and we are telling everybody that we know that Dell is not living up to their old standards and their product .

In the meantime, my husband and I who have identical laptops and bought them at the same time from Dell, have major issues, and my husband needs it for work. But Dell doesn’t seem to care anymore like they used to.

He spent hours on the phone and got transferred multiple times, and nobody at Dell seems to care.

Desired outcome: Replace both are hard drives to Solid State at no charge

hello,

i’ve had this device for a couple years with nothing but problems with keeping the micropone connected.

Dell support fixed it once a while ago, but after a couple weeks the microphone section stopped working. Dell never told me what they did but got the mic working. I worked with them as they took over my computer and did a lot of testing.

I need this for telehealth visits as my typing is not too good. I’m 77 years old and my eyes aren’t too good.

The microphone cannot be tested on the microsoft settings or zoom mic tests. It just never works.

Every once in a while , i try again but never any success.

All the reviews are good and it’s a nice device but keeping it working has been a challenge which i can’t master.

As you can see my computer is old but up to date. I can’t believe i’m the only one with this problem and i need your help please.

Why don’t you have an email address that i could send this letter directly?

can you please resolve this problem on my computer.

Dell Salesperson recommended a system that turned out to be a very bad fit for us.

Salesperson was aware of what we needed in terms of intended use, obvious need for storage of lots of data. We also expected although not voiced that we required all the usual components such as camera, microphone and a cd/rom. Dell support person was rude, talked over me and basically told me that 'buyer beware", when salesman should have known better.

Desired outcome: External components to be added to this computer at a reasonable price would be acceptable.

Dell recent computer order

I have been trying for two weeks to get a hold of someone at [protected] regarding my order number [protected] for a $805.90 credit.

I ordered a computer and prior to it's delivery, the unit went on Sale. Dell Dell Inspiron 5477 A10 Series

This is absolutely the worst computer I have ever purchased. It is still so slow, that I often just give up. I paid a considerable amount for this computer, expecting a computer that would perform. If I had to compare this computer, this computer would be the USPS and any other computer I have come in contact with would be Fed Ex.

I will NEVER purchase another Dell product. I even have a Dell laptop that I can't remember the password to, and Dell has refused to provide me any assistance with this matter.

Computer takes approximately 6-8 minutes to "start up." And it's downward from there. I have several names I call this computer, but none of them would be appropriate for this message.

Dell Broken framing around the screen

I purchased two Dell laptops at the same time. The information on the laptops read Inspiron 15 3000 and intel CORE i3. 15.6" Full HD WVA Display.

At first one of the laptops started to separate from the screen when it was being opened and closed. OK we stopped closing it. Great for home use... crappy for travel! Didn't think much about it. Things happen. But, shortly after this happened the second one did the same thing. So, I don't expect your company to do much about this. It's the nature of the beast! Yes, I just called big business a beast! I have only had these computers for a year. They were purchased for Christmas. Any way your company can help me out? I mean within a couple years we are going to be looking for new laptops. Plus, I have children and grandchildren I purchase things for. Hey, I'm trying to talk money here...because well money talks and BS walks. I heard that somewhere. The bummer is I don't have any of the paperwork for these computers, so I guess it leaves your company in a good spot. Too bad, so sad for me!

Desired outcome: Maybe something to go toward new ones? Maybe something stating this is a defect and your company is aware and will be replacing them. I can dream, can't I?
