MY medical aid was used fraudulently at the Dischem Bluff Pharmacy.
my concern is on how did the pharmacist dispense medication when looking at the person's name and ID, address etc. did alarm bells not ring that this could not be the same person as race, gender, doesnt match.
what security checks were done at Dischem Bluff Pharmacy to make sure that was the correct person.
i reported this on 10 October 2017 to Discovery and Dischem, but no one from Dischem got back to me to verify this or have the courtesy to call me, but should late payments be made to an account, the customer is handed over to legal very fast but for any provider to get back to a customer doesn't happen.
i had to be inconvenienced and take time off from work to get to Bluff which is quiet a distance of over 30kms from me to get answers to this.
i was just told that the area manager will get back to me, when personal information has been compromised and money is going off my medical savings account.
