Probable loss of fox 42 in omaha area.
Please resolve your issues so not to loose Fox network.
Cannot record fox news channels
I live in Katy, TX
The channel guide does not give information regarding the programming on the Fox News channels (205 and 206) therefore you cannot record these channels for later viewing.
Contacted customer support and they tried to update my HOPPER but still the programing for Fox is not listed.
They tell me the only thing I can do is complain as several others have.
Desired outcome: Provide the same availabilities as the other channels
Hbo $10 lifetime offer submitted prior to june 2018.
Customer # [protected] for almost 9 years. About 5 years ago I accepted a $10 offer for HBO for my life as a Dish customer. I understand why it was not available starting around June, 2018. HBO is now available and our agreement should be recognized. Dish has reneged on that contract. I understand you have a contract with HBO but you had a contract with me first! The $10/month HBO must be reinstated as per our agreement.

HBO Max
Dish advertises that you can now get HBO MAX on the dish network. Not true. When you sign up they tell you you can only watch HBO MAX on your phone it is not available through any of the Dish Network devises, Hopper, Joey Etc. We are now back to 1955 having to watch movies on a 4" screen. Of course AT&T is also to blame as they were withholding this service from LG and Dish because they want you to watch Direct TV instead.

My Complaint:
I had Tailgater service with DISH (account noted above). I live in Prineville, Oregon. I have lived in Prineville Oregon since Feb. 2018. I obtained the tailgaiter In March 2018.
In July 2020, I went to California and camped at a Regional Park located at 16700 Euclid Ave, Chino, CA. I camped for one week. Previously, my Tailgater was on pause. Once my campground was set up, I called DISH to activate my Tailgater while I was camping (in my travel trailer) for the one week. Once I returned to my home in Prineville, Oregon I put my Tailgater service back on pause. I paid the fee for the month of active service including a .90cent State/Local Tax (Sales). I kept all my payments current.
In April 2021, I went to a streaming service and smart TV in my camping trailer. I sold my equipment. I paid my early termination fee of $260.00. I told the person I talked to that I was willing to pay for non-return of the equipment since I sold it. He said, "we have to charge you $15.00 for the box to return the equipment in". I told him why charge me for a box when I am willing to pay for the unreturned equipement since I sold it. He replied that's just how it works. I told him sold it and will not be returning the equipment. So, unhappily I paid the $15.00 (Begrudgingly). I never received the return box to send back the equipment in, thus DISH made $15.00 off me with no box ever being sent.
Now, I have been billed the $148.00 for the failure to return the equipment. I will be paying that today (no problem). However, I was also charged $11.47 in State/Local Tax (Sales). I called customer service, spoke with Dutch. I stated State/Local Tax (Sales) is not to be charged in Oregon. I wanted it removed from my final bill. Dutch then advised it's because I live in California. I told him no, I do not live in California, I live in Oregon. He said the last service address was in California. I said I was camping in Chino, CA and shouldn't that be on the bill when I re-activated my Tailgater for the one month in July 2020? He said no that's your service address. I said I paid that bill. How can DISH retroactively charge me for a charge from July 2020! I became very angry, and Dutch hung up on me.
At this point, I am requesting the following:
$15.00 refund for the never received equipment return box
$11.47 in State/Local Tax (Sales) charged to my final bill TO BE REMOVED!

It's my late sons birthday and I just wanted to go home. He ignored me. He could've moved up or let me in and park behind me. He refused to do either. So mean and rude.
Dish movie is the wrong movie
I searched for the 2020 verison of Emma and bought it to rent it and it is not the correct movie. This needs to be fixed.

I had dish TV for over 2 years. I canceled it and they told me that I had an early termination fee of $180. I told them no I was not paying that. Canceled my debit card that I had used with them. Somehow they got my American express card number and put the $180 on it. I DID NOT GIVE THEM PERMISSION TO PUT ANYTHING ON MY CREDIT CARD. To me that is fraud. I don't remember even using this card with them.

My dish website
I log in to rent a movie on-demand, but can not. All of the links on the login page are unclickable except the feedback button. I left this same feedback several times and the problem is still the same. I can do nothing on the login page except leave my feedback. Could some please fix the web page so it works? It's been 2 weeks now and it is still broken. I can not use my rental certificate because your site won't let me.

Unauthorized charges
We found out today that we have recurring unauthorized charges on our bill since April 2021. Apparently, someone was watching porn on our Dish Network, and we had to persistently call several times and talk for over an hour to finally get them to admit that someone CAN connect to your account and watch whatever they want on your dish account and YOU have to pay for it. The best that they could do to refund us was $27.97 while the charges on our bank was over $200. Per month! This is horrible, and the fact that we had to pester and annoy them to get them to admit that it is possible. The first phone call, we were told it was impossible and then the lady rudely disconnected the phone. It wasn't until I brought up the connection on my laptop and phone that the next person we called finally admitted that it was possible. And you guys didn't resolve anything! We're punished for it, and the person watching porn on our account is rewarded for their bad behavior. You have no means to protect your customers from this. Horrible service, horrible people. Don't get Dish Network, unless you want to be charged for someone's porn addiction.

I called today to resolve an issue on my on demand dish #[protected] on a reoccurring bill. Sr, operations agent DJ9 not only did not help us but was unwilling to empathize with our situation. If this is the best customer service agent you have you are in deep trouble because you will lose your paying customers fast. I later called and spoke to Cristina another person #TJN that helped me with my issue and resolved my concerns.

Disconnected service credit
I disconnected my service from Dish on March 25, 2021 and returned all of their requested equipment via UPS on March 27, 2021.
The following two billing statements for May and June showed a credit of $134.27. The statement for July showed $0.00.
I spoke with a representative of Dish on June 23, 2021 to see when the credit would be paid. She basically told me that Dish charged me for the remainder of the March 21, 2021 to April 20, 2021 service after I had their service disconnected on March 25, 2021.
Desired outcome: I would expect Dish to issue a check to me for the $134.27.
I just called back to Dish and spoke with a different representative. I told her what the other representative had told me two days ago. This representative was able to obtain approval to initiate a refund, and I should receive a check for $134.27 in a couple of weeks.
repair charges
Yesterday while watching TV on a beautiful windless day with a perfect picture, and not having tampered with any of my equipment, the signal was apparently lost. A message said "complete signal failure" and offered possible solutions. I tried at least one, without success and eventually called a technician. While he was running me through the diagnostics and we were waiting for a response on my TV screen, he offered some kind of insurance that I might buy from Dish in case of equipment failure or the like. I declined. Eventually we had exhausted all possibilities of remote restoration of the signal. I had to make an appointment costing over $100 to send a technician to my house. That is yet to transpire. My first thought was, why do I have to pay anything for them to restore service? My second thought was, it is suspicious that after I declined the insurance, they were unable to restore service remotely as usually happens. I don't know if I have any kind of contract or agreement that might shed some light on repair issues - none that I can find.

This is exactly the situation I am in with Dish in Mobile, Ala. I scheduled apt for 12-2. At 2;45 I called to see where the technician is and "they" told me it was rescheduled for 5:45 to 7. NO ONE bothered to inform me. How's that for service. I also had the Bill situation. You can cancel the insurance BUT it will cost you $30. DISH is a ponsi scheme. The Cable companies screw us over every day and no one is fixing it.

Erasure of recorded program while I watching it
I was watching American Master "doc severinson" recorded on Dish DVR. I turned on the TV and started watching the above program for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Suddenly Dish interrupted with a "standby screen" advertising for some paid dish program. When I got rid of the "standby screen" some live channel came on.
I went to my recordings on the DVR, the American Masters program was gone. Dish is eager to charge for services. It should also deduct for mischief caused by the service interruptions that the "standby screen" does.
The "standby screen" regularly interrupts what I am watching prior to the 4 hour window AND without asking if I am still watching. I expect to see a rrefund on my next bill, which I have already called about.

Dish on the go not reliable or effective.
For about a year now Dish fails to connect while Rving. No obstructions during the setup, clear view of the southern sky etc. when setting up i successfully reach to where the channel guide is being downloaded and then the problem starts by indicating possible obstruction. Tried getting tech support from DISH but their responders 99% of the time are either in another country and due to their strong accent unable to communicate. I am seriously trying to continue with DISH but, if this situation is not resolve I have no other choice than to change to provider that will offer better service.
$340.00 for leaving dish was charged my account
I had dish network for seven months and I decided to stop it as the price was going up and up. originally I was supposed to be getting two years for 49.99 a month but it kept climbing and climbing. Then they told me I was going to have to pay 340.00 because I cancelled before the contract was up. They said they were going to take that amount on the card on file, I told them not to do that and set up a payment arrangement of 42.62 which was what I owed them for the service that month, then I would pay them 50.00 a month until paid. Today I found out that they took 340.00 out of my card after i had put in a payment arrangement with them. I called my card company and put a dispute in on that amount to go back on my account..
I called dish and asked them to put the amount back on my account and honor our agreement.. The man that talked with me was very adamant that I never made a payment agreement, I was on the phone for hours with them and I definitely made a payment arrangement. He said they had a right to take the whole amount off my card, I told them when I made the payment arrangement that I did not authorize that and not to do it...
I called my card company and a dispute is in progress...
As for dish networks, I would never recommend them to anyone, and anyone I can save from this totally terrible company I will. They are just blackmailers and are horrible to do business with.
The last two months I had them my sound went out and I had to keep restarting the hopper, They said did you call anyone, yes I called twice and went through a bunch of stuff and none helped so why would I keep the service? I thought if you weren't happy with the service you could close out your account without being harassed for $340.00 for leaving your contract...
Desired outcome: I would like the 340.00 to go back on my card and resume my payment arrangement of $50.00 a month until paid.
Is never got my $300.00 dollar visa rebate card
I had resigned up with dishnetwork for one reason they told me back in february 2021 that I would receive a visa rebate card otherwise I was going to cancel my account I gave them the offer code but the idiot customer service doesn't write the code in the computer system and signs me up for the discount plan and I had no idea he did that I call up 4 months later and I tell them what happened with my visa rebate card and that's when they told me it was never submitted and they signed me up for a discount program so they put in for the rebate card again and they denied me because I was on a discount program but that's not what I was promised I was promised a 300.00 dollar rebate card and now they don't want to correct it they want to offer me a 100.00 dollars of bill credit I was expecting a card so I can pay bills and buy food for my family I am on disability and they know that and they prey on disabled people because most likely they will get away with it so I told them to cancel my account and they need to waive my cancelation fee because they [censored]ed up after all the mistakes they made they refused to cancel and now I want the card that was owed to me.
Desired outcome: I Would like my 300.00 dollars in check or visa rebate credit card and i would like it to be delivered fast in express mode I have waited long enough I would like it in a week max time.
