The DM is Tracy Rodgers and i have been trying to talk to her about the situation without any comunication from her or my store manager. They dont want to help me. Tracy knew that I was Transfer 4 months ago and fauld to tell the new store manager so she could put me on the schedule. I dont Know what to do about the issue. I have called the care line but no one will answer.
Please help me. I really like my job and really want to work. there is no comunication with the DM at all.
Thank you for your time.
Theft by Manager
To Whom It May Concern:
My wife and I came into the store to exchange 22 items (mostly candles for our daughters wedding). We told Tom about them and as he checked them through and said that they all looked good and warned us that if we purchased other taxable items that we would need to pay the difference.
So we went into the store, obtained the cups and things that we were going to exchange and when we went to the register where Tom reviewed the items we brought in, Tom could not locate the returned items and suggested that someone must of ran off with them. He said that we can leave our name and number and he would let us know if the items were returned. We said that we would not do that and we wanted the credit for the products we handed to him. He refused to do that.
So we left the store without anything. Suffice it to say, that we are going to do our best to let everyone on the internet know not to shop at the Dollar Tree. He said, "Make all the threats you want" when I told him we were not doing business there anymore. I told him that it wasn't a threat, it was a promise.
Thank you for encouraging theft from your store managers.
Seriously?
Jay and Laurie Thompson
Desired outcome: Fire him for not acting responsibly or professionally
Wow...this is getting ridiculous with DT and all the rude workers there are and it appears to be everywhere...I guess people should just stop shopping at DT and just let it close down because they seem to think they are above all of the things I have seen posted here and don't have to worry about their job...
It is not true that Dollar Tree customers are poor and washed out. I have a generous pension from my years as a state employee; I go to Dollar tree because I want to save money.
Howard you work for dollar tree?
I may be having to bring ya'll to litigation for failing to follow your own code of ethics...which apparently has already happened more than once.
store acciate complaint
went in store #4259 around lunch time, went up to register, girl asked me to take things outta little green basket, so I did then I asked her if I needed to put basket back at entrance door, then she said what an I saw them o a hanger at ent the end of regester, she kept askin wat, , I told her I found it to just ring items up, but she kept on, , the she said she wasn't ringing me up, so I asked for manager, she call another lady an I asked her to write down number to call an she refused, but wrote her name an store number down, , other lady rang me up while shyleya Anderson kept running her mouth to a mail associate, , sayin he s using his white privalage … I do not appreciate how she treated me an usining racial comment twards me, then she hollers an say she is the shift manager an as I was walking out the door she was still talking crap, , , this is inapprpiate for her to act in publc business an if she is a manger she doesn't need to be, , , I would like an apology from her especially with the race comment ..
Desired outcome: a formal apology from said employee
Filthiness of the store
We went into the Grants Pass Oregon Store on Grants Pass Parkway and was appalled at how filthy it was. There was trash on the floors at the entrance and when inside the store trash down the aisles. As we went to check out with our $2 item we asked a gentleman if he was open, he was but were sent away to stand in the one line that was open. I did ask the woman who refused to let the man help us why the store was so filthy and she said the floor cleaners have not shown up. Do the employees not know how to sweep the floor? I will not shop at dollar tree again and did post on the neighborhood site how filthy it was. Apparently they do not have pride with the job they do
Wal Mart is much cleaner and actually closed for a couple days to make sure the store was sanitized to keep the staff and customers safe
Desired outcome: See the store cleaned up and safe for customers
Manager attitude
There was a gentleman in the dollar tree in the jackson crossing, Jackson, MI that was asking about returning bottles, and the manager on duty, his name was Chris, was very rude to him. I myself haven't really had a bad experience here but the way he was was throwing an attitude toward this poor man really got to me. If you're having a bad day, fine. Don't have to take it out on the customers.
Desired outcome: Have company contact manager about the situation
Supervisor's not giving me the paper's to sign stating my two week notice to quit employment.
On 1-15-19 I was hired at your store in St Paul, MN midway. I was released from the DOC on a work release program I worked at the dollar tree for 4 months. I requested for the paper that would give notice of me no longer which is my two week notice paper's. The supervisor that was on duty each time I requested for the paper kept telling me at the end of the day, by the end of the day she was gone. This went on with the main three supervisor's at that store the more day's went by the closer I was to being released from the program which was 5-6-19. I am on parole and is looking for employment but this issue is telling employers that I am unhireable.
Desired outcome: employment.
Service
Every time I go shopping there the lines are always long, today 9/23/21, I spoke with a manager, he said it he only had one employee and him, working today, I find that unexceptional, because some phone calls could have been made and corporate could have sent employees from other stores to fill in for the day, and this is a regular problem at this Dollar Tree Store # 5849 1709 Saint Marks Ave. Brooklyn, NY [protected]
Desired outcome: To resolve this issue
Store policy
A couple of days ago, while shopping at your store 7204 in Las Vegas, I noticed a customer walking around the store without a mask. I politely asked the customer where His mask was. His reply was, it isn't necessary.
I then noticed a store clerk and brought it to his attention. The store clerk informed me that they were told not to say anything to a Customer not wearing a Mask in order to avoid any confrontation.
Our state has a clear mandate, and Dollar Tree has signs posted on entering that a Mask was required.
Why disregard the State wide mandate and the signs posted if it isn't going to be inforced.
I am not sure I will continue to shop at the store if they allow this.
The store is filthy
your store on 6th Street in Irving, TX is the most filthy place I have ever been in/ Mud, dirt, dust and clutter on all the floors. There is clutter (trash) and boxes in EVERY aisle so much so that some items on shelves and walls are completely inaccessible I will never set foot in that store ever again. I was there on 9/10/21 in early evening. It needs a...

9/20/21, first off the store was not open at 9 am Monday, when I pulled on the handle it was 9:01, the guy who opened the door at 9:02 said rather smartly that the store opened at 9, I said according to my phone it's 9:02, and he still gave me a hard time. I am a Disabled man of 60, I collected what little product I needed, and went to the cashier...9:05. She yelled at me SIR YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE MERCHANDISE FROM THE BASKET! she yelled this twice when I objected. had she been a bit nicer and more caring about my disabled condition, I would haven't been writing this.

Desired outcome: a stern talking to
Filthy store/very bad cashier.
The cashier Tondra has a chip on her shoulder, no manners, and very RUDE!
She starting sniping at me for trying to throw a can in the store garbage, she should of just told me not to put it there and not jump down my throat about it.
She also ignored me when she was ringing up my order to slowly to to the back when asked to look for something making me wait and she took her time coming back.
Since then she ignores me or purposely ignores me if I ask about anything and gives me dirty looks.
As for the store itself, that place is a mess!
Items misplaced and laying all over the floors, discarded floor and drinks laying around the shelves, and worst of all the bathroom!
Floor is filthy, toilet has pee and poop on it, and once in a while there is poop on the walls!
Desired outcome: Clean that nasty store up and teach some of your cashiers some manners!
Restroom
So my wife and I went into the Dollar Tree Store # 3948 on 1265 El Paseo Rd in Las Cruses, NM. [protected] to do some very quick shopping. In that time we both had to use the restroom. Their were two restrooms, one for employees which was locked, and the other for customers in which you needed to get a key for the restroom. My wife and I had to wait to use...

I went into Dollar Tree at 1004 N. Promenade Pkwy Suite 130 Casa Grande Az. [protected]. STORE # 7064 The store was at a low as far as customer. Could have been a slide in slide out visit to the store. However you have 4 employees at the end counter, griping about this and that, he said she said bickering amongst each other. I go towards them, I am directed to register 1. I go there Andrea meets me there however the bickering and venting continues the whole time she is deciding when and how she should help. I finally get to the point where I ask her to take care of the customer, ME and then they can all go to the back and finish their griping. Andrea was rude and inconsiderate as she started to give me my change, she held on to it because I mentioned let go of that whole black life's matter thing and move forward. She tells me you need GOD. She finally let's go of the change. I'm walking away mad as can be and I am hollered at by Antonio. Just go, get out of here. Wow! At 67 years old I can not even begin to think how disrespectful the younger generation can be. What kind of business would allow such behavior. Run your cameras, see how this day went. Not so good. I talked to Marisa when I asked to talk to the manager. I came back for my receipt. Andrea has another customer however she literally neglects her as well only to interrupt my meeting with the manager. You have 2, 485 complaints plus this one against Dollar Tree. What will you or what have you done to correct this UNPROFESSIONL demeaner? I don't get it.
Desired outcome: Get rid of those who are only there for a paycheck and no customer service!

Poor Associate Training
Complaint #1 is: There is not place on line or no telephone number available to file Dollar Tree complaint.
Complaint #2 is : The Store No: 8599 (Hayes & 24 Mile)hand sanitizer at the front door has not worked for over 8-weeks and there is no other hand sanitizer for customer use. Each time I've gone into the store (4 or 5 times). I've let the same Associate "James" know that the hand sanitizer was still not working.
Complaint "3 is: I asked the Associate "James" 5-times, to speak to the Store Manager to lodge this complaint. Each time, James refused to get the Store Manager.

She is retaliatory, she is totally ignoring laws protecting someone with mental health issues, has no problem with associates cussing out managers for no reason, tries to dictate when people can be in the store, will give some employees multiple chances to screw up but others get only one. The whole store needs to be closed down and completely overhauled as far as employees go. Some of them don't want to be there and it shows. She is telling people that one of the best employees she has was fired, that employee has not been informed of the status of their job. The manager has violated ADA.
Desired outcome: Overhaul of the store. Employee to keep their job, if not take over the store as manager
Poor - rude customer service
Made a visit to your Store #5445 in Lancaster CA. Cashier who helped me was named Jennifer who was quite rude when I asked for return change to include a $5 dollar bill as I needed it to put in a Bday card. She told me in a rude tone that they were low on $5 bills and that she could not accommodate me. When I asked to speak with a manager she told me she...
