I was at the dollarstore in Cedarbrae mall today (August 31, 2023) from 730 to 745pm. As soon as I was in, I had a wheels cart full of clothes I just bought from winners. I was carrying the back to school items in my hand when an employee was cleaning the isle (a mess the prior family in the section made) she asked if I jeered a cart and I said no as I will only be grabbing some items I can hold or put on top of my zipped up cart. After about 5 minutes she pressed again about getting a cart and then went to the end of the isle to tell my 19 and 13 yr old to not play with anything when they were just looking at items to buy. I remained polite until she then went back to the original isle and came back a minute later to tell them again not to touch anything. My 13 yr old said he just wants to go and doesn't want to buy anything now. He moved the cart which things fell off the top so I grabbed a reusable bag when I was near the cash to hold it all since I'd be putting the stuff back in, once purchased. She said you can't do that and I said I'm right at the cash. She told the cashier to ring me up quickly and I asked the cashier the womans name she said she can't give that or a place I can make a complaint. She was harassing my kids and I, and I have never stole in my life so I don't appreciate the behaviour. The cashier told me she is management when I asked to speak to the manager and then changed to say she was leaving the next day but she is not the manager just management for stores.. not sure any truth to what she says. I am appalled at the horrid customer service and I have come to this mall for over 30 years and my family is well known here.
