Reliability Of their use cars
I purchased a call from drivetime 3 days later the transmission went out on it they are unwilling to help me out as far as a rental saying that I have to pay for a rental and they reimburse you for it for it to top it all off they won't let me exchange my vehicle for another vehicle for the same price.
My vehicle broke down on August the 3rd 2021 and it's still at the repair shop and it's now August the 20th 2021 and they are still messing around with the transmission. And they still want me to make a payment next week on a car I only had 3 days in my possession which their policy States you have 5 days to consider trading your call back in if not satisfied. I reached out to them and they still state that I cannot cannot trade my call in because my 5 days is up how can 5 days be up when I only have a car in my possession for 3 and a 1/2 days.
Refusal to honor extended service warranty/selling the car 4 times after it was returned and now selling the debt subjecting me to debtor harassment
In 2017 I got a care from Drivetime and paid $100 for extended warranty. Within a cooouple months the front end and brakes were acting up. The tires wer warped. Drivetime had said that if the had had problems "just take it to Pep Boys." When I did, Pep Bost said DriveTime refused to pay for servicing and I had to pay $488.94. The company ahs sold the car 4...

I purchased my 2013 Nissan Rogue from the Drivetime Dealership on St. Barbara's Rd in Temple Hills MD on April 6, 2021 on Friday April 9th my engine light came on I failed inspection. I then called Drivetime the salesman got on the phone and I told him the problem he then transferred me to Silver Rock without even notifying me of the transfer. Silver Rock then gave me a list of places and I could choose from I then chose a shop on Central Ave in Capitol Heights MD. From April 10th until The beginning of June I literally took my car to them every 1-2 weeks because they couldn't fix the O2 sensor. The guy at the shop said he's gonna call Silver Rock because it needed to go to the dealership(Nissan) Silver Rock reached out to me and made the appointment for Nissan. They fixed the O2 sensor in June, 2 weeks ago my engine light came back on I called Nissan because he told me if it comes back on to call so I could bring it back….now they said the transmission and the transmission coolant is bad smh, Silver Rock said they would cover the transmission but not the transmission coolant which is what made the transmission go bad in the first place. This did not happen over night apparently. They want me to $1.284 plus a deductible, of $200 absolutely not! I put $1, 400 down for this lemon and I want that and I deserve a trade!
Desired outcome: I would like another vehicle or all of my money back that I’ve paid bridgecrest so that I can purchase from an honest dealership!
Sold a lemon
Was forced into another car with lies, they sold me a water damaged vehicle and told me that no matter what since I had he loan I had to pick another car through them they lied and told me that I could upgrade in six months but in all reality the car they sold me almost caught on fire so much rust that pep boys didn't want to return it an or wanted to be responsible
Desired outcome: Get out of my loan
2013 chevy equinox
I purchased. 2013 Chevy equinox from drive time on 5/24/2021. The vehicle began having mechanical issues on 7/08/21. I contacted drivetime and was told to take it up with the warranty company, Silverrock. I had the vehicle towed to the garage chosen by the warranty provider on 07/11/2021. I am still in without the vehicle and struggle to get updates from...

I went to drive time asking about leasing the vehicle for a year I spoke with sales rep TJ Griffin he informed me that yes in fact I could least a vehicle for one year and that he will be glad to help me do that. Long story short, I went to pick up my vehicle and the horn didn't work. They sent it to the shop and was asked to return the next day. I called the next day and it was not ready. They said they were changing the oil, updating the software and cleaning the car. The car was ready 2 days later. Within 24 hours of driving off the lot, I called the dealer because I heard a strange noise when turning the wheel to make a hard right turn. I was told the salesman was not available. I drove back 2 days later and was told to take it to the shop drive time uses. I was announced I was not getting any help. The car was under warranty, so I took it to a Lincoln dealer shop. They were so disappointed that drivetime sold me the car in poor shape. They had the car for over 3weeks. I called drivetime everyday for 2 weeks. They said the salesmen was away. I called twice in one day from a different number and gave a different name asking for him. I said I saw a vehicle on line I wanted to purchase. To my surprise he answered the call. After I told him the issue with car he said he was way and I should take it to the shop. No support at all.
On another note I made all payments to Bridgecrest on time for over 4 yrs. One month I paid 2 weeks ahead of time because I was not working that summer and was reported the next month for none payment to the credit bureaus. The payment said it was for the next month under the payment option listed. I disputed the error and called Bridgecrest asking them to fix the error. I was told next time don't make payments 2weeks before the due date! My credit score dropped and I begged them to fix the error. I called them 3 times. Two service representatives said they would submit the request because they could see the error on the Bridgecrest site and they do honor early payments. It was never corrected and the dispute with the credit bureaus stayed the same!
Desired outcome: Correct the report to the credit bureaus and lower the cost of my car because it is not worth the value and was in the shop longer then I owned it the first month.
DriveTime is selling not only used but bad cars for triple the price they are worth
I got my car in 2016 because I've had bad credit and I've been having non-stop problems with my car such as knocking under the hood check engine light coming off and on transmission problems and others I pay extra month for extended warranty that they tried to say that expired so I argued with them on the phone for them to tell me oh wait you do you have it I told him I needed work on my transmission they sent me to Pep Boys I paid $100 for them to say they are not specialize in Transmissions I have been going round with DriveTime I also pay every month and my payoff quote is not going down the car that I have is worth $2, 500 I'm paying almost $21, 000 I also cannot drive my car I'm still making payments! Drive time is taking advantage of people with bad credit getting used cars putting bandages on them with tons of problems and selling them for triple the price they are worth! to top it off I had to pay $3, 000 more for a another car so I have a car to drive
Desired outcome: For them to take their car back I want all my money back I've had non-stop problems

Bridgecrest
I am looking to do a class action lawsuit with Brigecrest, we also own a car with Drivetime and the payments around 480 a month since 2017 and currently still making payments. During the pandemic we found a great car rate to transfer the car over to another company but it was impossible to make that decision because Brigecrest wanted 7% interest rate for pay off amount. So it did not make any since to do that. This year we still owe 7000 and the car is on it's last days. It's saddening me when you try to do the right thing and then you found out something like this is what stopping you.
I too purchased a car with a sticker price that said 13, 000 and the end amount is showing $21, 000.00. Car was in two front end accidents.
Auto dodge avenger 2017 repoed 2020 august
I was affected with covid even though behind I struggled to make payments each much with a past history of slow payments every know an then tryin to fix up a 2014 avenger car with several maintenance problems with a a high interest rate and a balance never going down a loan over $20, 000. I am a cancer survivor and me my family suffered from covid 19, I attempted to make payments each month contacted the office and being sick I still attempted to make payments I 2020. The in april my stimulus check was stolen I never got it and I have proof! I spoke with an agent and I advised them of letters from irs and that the investigation would take 3 months and subject to even longer investigations! I advised them of this and when I advised of letters or documents I was advised not to send it! My car was repoed and bridgecrest denied my documents and continued on payments, I was able to get assistance on my rent and family and made payments each month to show them I was trying my best to keep up. My car was repoed after much struggle and continuous disappointment of having them to work with me! My balance is still at $19, 000 plus just as though I never made any payments! On my car! I would like to also like to be added to the lawsuit if ever started! My email is [protected]@gmail.com
I ve suffered much from this and was treated very poorly and scammed out of monies i'll never see n a car I was fixing up i. The very first monoi drove it off the lot!
Trina
I have this same issue with them. No matter how much I've paid I've never went below the cars price. They never help me during covid time they just want money money or repo your car. The interest are crazy and very very lucrative.
Car and reporting to credit bureaus
I purchased a 2009 Camry XLE in 10/2016. Around the year 2017 (early within this year) I began noticing problems with oil leaks. To this day, I am putting in oil in in between oil changes anywhere from 2 to 8 quarts of oil. When I finally took this car to a mechanic (2018) he stated the oil is leaking at the piston. This mean the oil is being blown which causes it to come out at the tail pike which means a NEW engine is needed. When I contacted Drive Time about the fault engine, it fell on deaf ear. I filed a complaint with NHTSA. I brought this issue up again with Drive Time, letting them know they sold me a car with a faulty engine. Drive time stated my warranty on this car ran out. Also, and currently, Drive Time has been reporting false information to all the credit bureaus indication late payments as much as 90 days. I am currently filing a dispute with all three agencies. As far as what I am paying for this car, I could have bought 2 cars for the price of this one. This 2009 car cost me $31, 223.03. To this date I have paid $21517.60 for this car Enough is Enough.
Desired outcome: 500 E Roosevelt Rd, Lombard IL
My truck is really bad with rust
I bought a truck in august 24, 2017 there were several things later on that I realized were covered up they had covered some rust spots that are now shown through the hole corner of the drivers side bumper is eaten through with rust, and undercarriage is rusted to the point that the shackles are going to break. There was 102, 000 on the truck when I purchased it and I have only put 50, 000 on it in 4 years it should not be in that condition. And I still have until 2/25/2023 to may it off! I feel I have been taken advantage of and am very dissatisfied.
Desired outcome: I feel they should take some of the price of the truck loan or something that truck is not going to make it to the end of the loan
DRIVETIMEBridgecrest class action lawsuit
I also was sold a defective car from DriveTime and have been lied by Bridgecrest. If there's a class action lawsuit pending I would like to join. Please contact me here.
Desired outcome: Contact

Car loan scam
HI ALL.
Pleased to meet you.
I purchased a VW JETTA IN JANUARY OF 2016 ON A 4 YEAR LEASE TERM at 24% interest. It will be 5 years in februray, 2021 and I am still paying for the car.
Not only did the car have an auto brake system recall that was not disclosed to me, but the daily interest charge was not disclosed to me either.
On June 10th, 2020 I was quoted my payoff amount was $3, 200 and today November 11th, 2020, I was told my pay off amount is $3015, despite the fact that I have paid $3, 080 to this date from June 10th..
When I asked for a breakdown of my payments, they said they can only send me the contract. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt they are cheating me way beyond what I owe. The lack of transparency in itself is a great indication. They have also charged me late fees 7 times with out ever letting me know. Had to dig deep to find the late fees.
How is this even legal?
Let us nail these predatory lending greedy scum. Any other input I would appreciate also.
All the best,
Edom Tedla

These two companies are working together to force you into a loan that you will pay just interest. Very hard to payoff your loan
Please add me, I would love to be a big part of this. My wife and I purchase our car from Dive Time in Fayetteville, N.C. We have got great service out of this car. But when it got to the point that we just might want to trade-In for another one some where else. We had called to get out payoff balance. What we had discover was a shocking to our ears. We paid $17, 500 at the beginning. Three years later we were owe the same $17, 500 on the car. Drive Time and Bridge Crest Financial, put us into a (Daily Interest Loan ) that we never signed up for when we purchase the car. the loan will compound daily interest every day. So there fore the loan is to hard to pay off. So now we are unable to trade or pay off this type. They said that this were a good way for us to go. LIE, LIE, LIES By the way, we have never miss a payment. These two companies are working hand by hand as a team together. They are a family team. They own both the Dealership and the Loan company.
Silverrock warranty
Bought 2008 f150 in 2018 with in 30 days took it in for service at ntb ok. They told silverrock it need an engine then now 18 000 miles later the timing chain I belevie is out but helfman ford dealership told silver rock again it needs an engine for the second time and on both times silver said no to replacing the engine this time tho their saying its cause I don't have proper maintenance records and denying the claim cause theirs engine oil sludge in the engine, hell the truck is 14 years old tell what engine at 14 years old doesn't have some sludge build up
Chevy malibu max
Day 6 after I purchased the car I coudn't get it to crank and was advised that the 5 day return policy was no longer valid. Then a month later I invested $150 in a gas pump. The same day I had to take the car back because the gas pump was still leaking. The last issue with this particular car happen 6 months after it was paid off. The electrical system failed while I was driving. I nearly wrecked. Prior to this incident they tried to add an additional $600 to my closing cost and I never received an additional key for my car (even though the rep specifically told me that they kept a key in the case of a repo.). I was desperate and paid $11 grand out for a lemon.
Bought a car and have serve issues
I bought a car in May of 2017, Within the first few months of having the vehicle the engine light came on. It was the CAT converter after $1000 to get it fix the error code wont go away. We also changed the O2 sensors and the Muffler, but that code wont go away so Its impossible to get my car inspected in the state of PA. In 2019 the Water pump exploded while driving it. Also the radiator cracked and now I am having serious Transmission problems that should still be covered but because the CAT code is still on the 2 shops I took it to "cant find anything wrong" with it even though it will not shift going up a hill and also slip when driving it. I am paying over 400 dollars a month for a car I had to wipe the system to get to pass the PA emissions/ PA inspection.
