Perodua Ativa lost power after service (twice in a row!)

I serviced my car half a year ago, after that my car lost power, no pick up. Sent back to SC, they checked. Reset my ECU, power was back on. I asked why like this, they said at times it happens to some cars.

Last weekend I sent for service again, after servicing, I face the same problem! Underpower, no pick up. Called up SC, going to send back today again, Monday.

It cannot be each time after servicing losing power. What is wrong with the car? Technician overfill engine oil? Or ECU problem? Perodua should investigate and recall for replacement if ECU is faulty.

Disappointed owner.

Perodua Duration of repair service took too long

Perodua Axia-had an accident on 06/04/2024, was immediately tow to Tasek service centre, Ipoh. Insurance approved on 10/05/2024. Today is 20/06/2024 and my car is still not available for pick-up, another 2 weeks will be exactly 3 months, have called numerous times, but always no answer, have been searching for alternative contact to reach Perodua but unavailable, can someone tell me what happened? I rely on the car for a living and this issue had drained me dry.

Claimed loss: RM3,000 source of income lost

Desired outcome: get the car Fix and release back to me asap, and compensate the time lost without a car

Stop waiting around. Go directly to the service center and demand answers in person. If that doesn't work, escalate to higher management and use social media to highlight your situation and put pressure on Perodua. Make it clear that this delay is unacceptable and that you need immediate resolution. Your livelihood depends on it, so don't back down until you get your car back.

Thank you for your advise. I have been searching for the respective contacts' information to escalate the matter, but just didn't manage to find it, only the National Consumer Complaints Centre that's available...

I had called the Tasek Service Centre, Ipoh again on 21/6/2024, the man who answered the phone told me that my car is still under repair, and he estimated by this month end (June'24) to be able to release the car to me. Whilst, my mum had planned to fetch me on the coming Monday, 24th to go the Service Centre directly.

Perodua Poor sales advisor service

Refer to the conversation attach, are you able to accept such service?I was very disappointed about the sales advisor that give me this kind of service. I trust this saleswoman as it was introduced by my sister friend comment that she is a responsible person. Who's know this person not only ignore my question after taken my deposit and unable to answer my concern. I still unable get any response from her since 15.1.2024 after the vehicle have been booked. Perodua Complaint about sales agents (lady - disclose the name later)

Hi sir/miss,

Good day to you!

Would like to complain the poor service provided by sales agents.

Today was my lucky day as I am planned to get my car today. Unfortunately, due to some issues (bosses called), I delayed approximately 5-10mins to obtain the car and already informed the agent about it. I already apologised to her about it as well.

When I was there, she purposely take revenge about it. She informed me that she had to have her lunch and directly left and purposely let me waiting her about 1 hour. I was wondering what kind of professional services that Perodua trained and provided. And the way she spoke was really irrespect.

I hope Perodua could really take into consideration about it. Thanks.

Perodua Car battery.

So, today 23/11/2023 around 12pm and above I left my car at perodua dmm sales sdn bhd no 1, lorong 7/3, off jalan raya light ind. Area 43300 seri kembangan because I need to service it. This is my new car and its not even been 2 years yet since I first start used it. I just need to get confirmation from perodua if the old battery model replacement that they gave me is the original one. The one that came from the time I purchased my car. Beause after inspection, they told me to exchange my car battery. So, I did it as per request and then I ask them for my main battery. So, can you reconfirm if this battery they gave me is one made from perodua (your factory) or fake one? Below I will provide the proof and receipt.

Perodua Axia latest model stereo malfunctioning

Bought an Axia in July 2023. Sept radio/stereo had problem. Sent to Bakateam Jalan Klang Lama for repairs. Ok done. Told me socket came out n plugged back. November again stereo malfunctioned. Again went to Bakateam. Told me need to send to vendor(clarion brand) cause do not know wat the problem is. May get back within a month or so. Why cant Perodua replace a new one for me as this is second time problem occurred. Perodua should deal with stereo company n fix a new one for customer rather then customer driving without stereo for a month or so. Customers should be priority n they should replace a new one rather then repairing this. Maybe in January i might need to again go to Bakateam to repair the faulty stereo n maybe then again in March. Every 2 months. Rhis is Perodua... Can u believe it.

Perodua Headlamp Shake

Dear HR staff,

I need to complaint my car Perodua myvi 1500 AV (CVT) year 2022 headlamp of right hand side shake when the car stop , I haved send my car to Perodua Service Centre (Segambut Branch) for serviced before . I also haved requested from the technician about my case but when I get the reply is all car is same also like that ? May I know how come I spend money to buy a new car that is the answer I get ,may I know what kind of service is this?

How come the technician can answered me like this? Very bad serviced...

Perodua Poor service by the Perodua repairing centre

Poor service by the Perodua repairing centre. New car only 2 weeks used.

My car VLF 2741 was leaking (boot leaking) after I received the car. iI buy the car from Edenia USJ Perodua. I already sent my car to Perodua repairing cetre. However, the car is still in the repairing centre without any follow up from the staff unless I contact them first. It has been 2 weeks, since the incident happened. I need the car for transportation as I travel everyday from Klang to puchong. I need my car by this week. Please fixed my car asap

After receiving car, car got problem ( boot leaking ).im only use this new car only for 2 weeks.untill now , no respon for repairing the problem.already send to body and paint service usj to fix it.but untill now no respon.

Request for formal explanation how to ensure this issue will not happen again in the future. Perodua Repair issue

I had sent my car Myvi to Perodua DMMs service center after an accident. After repairing and i got my car back, i have found out that there are some scars and scratchers left behind that are not caused by the accident. After i reported to the service center, they asked me to go change tint (if got scratches) and ignore the other scratches. I have tried to tolerate but it happened last event too, they have no responsibility in caring customers' car.

Perodua Complain about the deposit already how many month still not yet refund

I would like to Complain about my deposit return back . letter already send to the salesman Plantong JB but until now still not yet return back . always tell me the code number already send to my SMS but i form register the Ufirst until now also didnt received any SMS ,the salesman tell me if not i need to walk in to Plantong JB Branch to do the process .

1) I don't want any connection with your plantong branch the salesman again . with the poor service . so i don't want walk in to do about this .

2) i want to cancel because his service very poor . already give I/C photocopy and deposit . didn't have any massage form him . need to prepare what document all the things . NO

until i WhatsApp ask about it than only his reply .

Perodua Poor service by the Perodua repairing centre

My car NDN 8731 was involved in an accident on 31st May 2023 and the towing service sent my car to Perodua repairing centre in Pulau Sebang on the same day. However, the car is still in the repairing centre without any follow up from the staff unless i contact them first. It has been 3 months since the accident happened. I need the car for transportation as I travel everyday from Negeri Sembilan to Malacca. I need my car by this week.

Perodua Blind spot not functioning

Got into an accident and went to the service center perodua tasek to repair. After the repair done, my car got alert that the blind spot is unavailable. Send back to them. But it keeps repeating the same thing. Until a few times facing the same problem. As it already been my routine to send my car to service center for the same problem. It’s about 7 to 8 times already. I don’t want to keep on counting. Please resolve

Desired outcome: to find the best mechanics who can handle advanced technology. I want to claim my loss of use because of the mistakes keep going on and I don’t have any transportation during the repair. Otherwise please replace the car with a new one

Perodua Body & Paint Repair

My car ATIVA ADV 1.0 SILVER (VKT1030) met into a damaging accident requiring engine change, car went in on 26May23, it took 1 month for HQ parts department to get an engine for me ( when i buy the car i waited not even 2 months). After engine stock confirmed need to wait JPJ approve to cop the new engine, which was approved in a week which is good but now HQ claims to need 1MONTH to just cop the engine number?! Does this sound logical? What are you doing that needs 30 days to Cop my new engine number? Are you so inefficient? I am a working adult that needs to use his car for work. I understand to not rush the repair in order to get top quality repair but things like 1 month to cop engine is nonsense. Please sort this out. Thank you.

Desired outcome: I would like personal follow up by the HQ until my engine is sent to the BnP shop that is repairing my car then i can follow up on my own and DONT take 1 month to do something that can be sorted in 1 week.

Perodua unsatisfy with Perodua Service Centre Bukit Raja Klang

My car VEK 290 met an accident on 18th June 2023 and i have sent my car to Perodua service centre on 19th June 2023 .Im a full time grab driver. Until todate i did not get my car and i have loss 2 months income and i have many commitments. I wants to know why the approval from insurance company took about 20days? why there is no proper follow up from the staff who handle my case. Till today i need to call them everyday and the only reason the gave is " lori belum sampai".I have talk to the Manager once 2 weeks ago. But still same. I really dont understad the reason. Please do not give any excuses after this and i need my car by tomorrow. All my debth under 2 months outstanding now.

I expect a call from your side by today and for sure will go to social media and Google Review.

Perodua SA Kiam fatt motor sdn bhd - Ms Lee Yi Shi

Above SA never refund our balance RM90 out of RM100 after we agreed that RM10 charged for Admin fee. Where we have to change our SA to another company as the previous SA (Ms Lee) never have the effort to helps us to make decision along the process. The refund should received on 8/8/2023, but until now we still haven’t received any refund. That Ms Lee has never responded to our msg ever since we change the SA. Perodua HQ, PLEASE TAKE ACTION!

Sebelom hantar checking button kiri kanan dekat stereng myvi g3 horn hidup dan tak keluar sensor air bag..lepas hantar terus keluar..sy hantar check buttuon tu pada tarikh 27/07/2023 di produa service bukit mahkota(Accescorp Automobile) dan selepas itu keluar button air bag dan horn terus tidak berfungsi..sy hantar semua kereta untuk cek horn dan air bag pada tarikh 15/08/2023 di sebab kan produa service itu penuh dan kekangan masa untuk pergi..pihak service sana tidak mahu bertanggung jawab dan tidak mahu menganti barang yang rosak..barang yg di nyatakan di produa itu adalah spiral cable(84941-BZ050) yang berharga rm545.50..dan pihak produa menyatakan sy perlu mengeluarkan duit sendiri untuk penukaran tersebut sedangkan kali terakhir bukak untuk cek pihak produa..saya rasa tidak berpuasa hati dan rasa tertipu.
