I had an appointment to buy a used car from Dupage Dodge
I had an appointment to buy a used car from Dupage Dodge. I came from far away (45 Mins.) and called on my way to make sure the car was still there. They said it was. When I got there, a salesman greeted me and sat me at his desk. He went out to check something and came back saying the car was sold that morning! Before my appointment! They tricked me with false promises. This dealership lacks integrity and honesty! Be careful and don't believe what they say!

I would never recommend this dealership. My husband bought a jeep from them in October. The first thing was the rims were all scuffed up. He didnt see the tires before buying it because it was on a lift and took the dealerships word that they were in good condition (our mistake). When he brought it to the sales guys attention, he said that he couldnt do anything about it. 2 weeks later, the check engine light came in. He had it read and it was a cylinder 5 misfire. Everyone he spoke with, told him he should not be driving it. DuPage told him they couldnt get him in for 3 weeks nor could they give him a rental car. We both work and need 2 cars. This was very disappointing as this car was bought TWO WEEKS PRIOR. We brought it to another Jeep dealership that got him in right away and we had to pay $400 for again, a car we just bought 2 weeks ago. After getting this issue fixed, another 3 weeks later the check engine light came on AGAIN. We brought it to the same dealership that graciously got us in before and a wire had melted due to not properly being installed after a head gasket was replaced Even though the car faxed showed there was no work ever shown being done on the car besides regular oil changes. So we had to get that fixed and we were again, without a car while that got fixed. Now about 6 weeks later, his car isnt blowing out heat. This is the most disappointing car we have ever bought. I would never ever recommend this dealership to anyone.

This place is a scam! They changed the prices on my husband's contracts. They rush through paperwork so you don't catch it even if you take your time reading. The finance person distracts you. They didn't give him the full amount for his 1-year-old Tahoe with low miles that he traded in. They switched his interest rate and added $4000.00 in hidden fees with no explanation. We called the bank to confirm the contract, and the information they have doesn't match what we have. The bank told us to go to the dealership and have them write up a new contract with corrections so they can cancel the one they have in the system. My husband contacted *** and he said he'll handle it, but he hasn't. *** has been ignoring my husband's calls. Don't believe anything they say, it's all lies. What they're doing is illegal, very illegal, and it's sad that no one is doing anything about this dealership. It needs to be shut down immediately. My husband tried calling again, but they reject his calls and don't return voicemails. Stay away from this dealership! I'll be protesting against them soon! I'll be filing complaints after complaints. I'll be reporting this business everywhere I can, on every platform and on my blogs. Warning people to stay away from this scamming business. I won't give any stars, but I have to give one to leave a review. They don't deserve any stars.

I went and test drove a car at Dupage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to make a purchase. I informed the salesman that I would be getting my own financing through my credit union. After doing so, I called back to let them know I was coming to buy the car. I checked their website and the price was still the same. However, when they found out my husband was on his way to pick up the car, they called me back and said they were increasing the price by $2000.
Later that night, I went back to their website and the price was still the same as before. It never changed. It seems like they are trying to deceive people by adding additional fees, which is how they raise the price. The salesman even told me that he was changing the price while we were speaking, but that never happened. It's a complete scam. They advertise a lower price, but when you get there, they raise it by a significant amount.

I bought a 2022 Jeep Renegade Limited on May 8, 2022. After having the vehicle for 2.5 months, I started having serious electrical problems. I kept in touch with the dealership, and they told me twice that if the problem didn't happen again, it might have been an update or glitch. But the problem persisted and got worse. Every time I took it to the dealership, the service department associates said they couldn't find any issue. But right after they said that, the Renegade shut off on me three times. It has been at the dealership for over a month now, and they haven't communicated with me about when or if it will be fixed. At this point, I'm really worried about my safety and life when driving this Jeep. They have told me multiple times that they can't do anything to help me.

On April 25, 2022, I bought a Jeep Wrangler from Dupage Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram dealer. On May 16, I returned the Jeep to the dealer because of an antifreeze smell coming from the front. The service department informed me that I needed a radiator and it would cost me a *** dollars to fix it. I asked them why I had to pay for it and what happened to my warranty. They told me that the warranty doesn't start until after 30 days. I told them that they sold me a faulty truck because why should I have to pay for a radiator now when I haven't even paid my first car note yet. I haven't had my truck for 30 days yet, so I don't think this is fair to me. Now I can't drive my truck because the radiator is down. I'm asking them to fix my radiator on this truck at no charge because they said they did a Carfax and found nothing wrong with it.

The same darn problem came back in January , and this time it was discovered by another dealership called Roesch Dodge in Bensenville. When they took the part apart, they found out that the engine needed to be replaced. Can you believe it? And you know why? Because five out of eight bolts were stripped during the last repair, and it was all because of the technician's negligence at DuPage. The second dealership even admitted it, so the blame should definitely be on DuPage. I mean, come on, they were the last ones to touch the part, according to all the records.
Now here's the real kicker. I'm now stuck with a bill of over $8000, and my car isn't even running. Can you imagine the frustration? And to top it off, I might have to fight with Roesch to get them to pay back some of the $400 they charged me as some kind of "ransom." Seriously, it's like they're playing games with my money.
All I want is for one of these dealerships to step up and take responsibility for their shoddy work. I mean, I was able to drive my car in, and it was clearly the same cylinder head issue that was covered by warranty up to 150K miles. But then I find out about the terrible workmanship in 2018, and now I had to get my car towed out. It's just not fair.

We tried changing the fuses, but they kept blowing up. We arranged for a porter to pick up the car while we were at work. He was like almost an hour late, even though we live like 5-7 minutes away. So, after being there for a whole day, I called to get an update (I called every time 'cause they had the wrong phone number, even though I told 'em every time). They told me that the car was fine now and that the fuse box reset itself. I asked the service advisor if I only had to pay for the diagnosis since they didn't actually fix anything. She said just the diagnosis fee. But then later she tells me that the fee was $508. I thought that was for a repair, not just for them to barely look at the car. So, I go there to pick up the car and I talk to the service manager. He tells us that they just put a jumper wire and it worked. But guess what? The very next morning, the lights stopped working again. So, my boyfriend took it back to Dupage Dodge and they said it was the fuse box. We decided to take it to another mechanic, Herbst Performance. The mechanic kept my boyfriend updated the whole time he had the car. Turns out, the problem was melted wires behind the headlights. The mechanic said that anyone who actually looked would've noticed the melted wires. I'm really mad 'cause I paid a lot of money at Dupage Dodge and they didn't do anything for the car.
