Ripping off seniors blatantly
My doctor prescribed Zepbound. I searched for the best price. Good RX is $1080 per month. If I had any commercial insurance, even if Zepbound was not covered, Lilly would sell it to me for $500. If I was low income or had insurance that covered it, Lilly would sell it to me for as low as $25. Lilly claims Medicare won't allow them to sell to seniors at a discount. This seems like a cut and dried case of age discrimination. On the government side, for them to discourage people from getting a drug that could save Medicare thousands per patient in hospital and other medical services is sad and wrong. This is a reason why government price controls are needed on life saving meds.
Recommendation: Get your health in order before you go on Medicare.
I'm on a medication to lose weight
I'm on a medication to lose weight. I take it once a week. I had three bad shots and tried for 23 days to resolve the issue. It was one lie after another, and they still haven't made it right. Diabetes is serious, and they just didn't care. I'm going to have to try something else to take weight off. Lilly is a very bad company to deal with. I will not have any more to do with them.
I was gonna write a review 'bout this company, Eli Lilly & Company, 'cause their product is just terrible, ya know?
I was gonna write a review 'bout this company, Eli Lilly & Company, 'cause their product is just terrible, ya know? But then I saw other reviews sayin' the same thing. So, it's clear this company's got some issues with their stuff. My son's been gettin' these daily growth hormone shots usin' their Humatrope Pen for years now, and let me tell ya, it's been a total nightmare. This pen is a real piece of junk, I tell ya. I've called 'em so many times 'bout it, it's drivin' me crazy. It's gotten so stressful that I've actually been avoidin' givin' my son his shots! Can ya believe it?
Finally, I couldn't take it no more. I went through all the hassle of talkin' to my doctors, insurance, and whatnot to switch back to the old product we used before. And let me tell ya, that was a breeze compared to this mess. Their pen just don't work, plain and simple. And get this, their reps say you gotta waste like 75% of the medicine to get rid of air bubbles. What a joke, right? The other product we used ain't got nothin' like this goin' on. It's a shame, really. The medicine is super expensive, and they make you waste most of it just 'cause their pen is useless.
If you can, stay away from this company. Find another one that actually stands by their product and makes somethin' that actually works. Trust me, it's worth it.
The injectable was approved ovr a week ago on Thursday for my child
The injectable was approved ovr a week ago on Thursday for my child. Saturday, called *** to make sure everything is being worked on since we are going away two weeks later. Training (virtual) is required before using this product. I was told we need a minimum 4 days before they do the training and we must have the product on hand before they schedule. I called Monday asking if it's coming, and I would like to set up an appointment before we go away (this was almost a two week window to set up a quick training session). Thursday we receive everything, I call to set up the appointment but they would not since it's not their ridiculous policy-you need everting on hand in case something is incorrect/missing, and the pen was not in the package. I'm not using the drug now, I just need to set up an appointment before we go away. They would not schedule. I received the pen today, Friday. I said we need the training before next Friday. We will be away for two weeks and what's the purpose if we can't use the meds? Just schedule something. I have spent over 2 hours on the phone with at least 7 individuals to set up a *** HOUR and *** training for *** WEEK. I am now waiting for a manager to call back to see if she can do it for next week. I wish I was using a different company. GH is time sensitive and my son has been in the process of being evaluated since January, and it's now July. The worst part of this whole process is *** and their ridiculous, irrational policy. Please ask if your insurance will approve GH from another company and good luck. I was also told the meds need to be in carryon with cooler packs, and they would send a travel kit. *** kit never came and it wasn't ordered in their notes. They sent a styrofoam travel box that you would take to the beach. Just awful dealing with them. "

zepbound
My wife and I have been trying to get the cash pay zepbound. Our doctor has submitted a request multiple times and get denied. We have spoken with one of your representatives who put us on the line with Gift Health. Gift health could care less. I know that you are in the business of selling medicines. It seems that your chosen pharmacy would just fill the doctor's prescription without creating a series of hoops to jump through.
Why does Gift Health have the power to override the doctor?
I would like an answer.
Desired outcome: I would like my prescription filled.

Zepbound Shortage
Good afternoon,
I find myself in a challenging predicament due to your company's actions. I began the medication in December 2023 and have been paying over $550.00 monthly out of pocket. We've already experienced a shortage, missing the second month's supply, and now, I am once again unable to obtain the medication to continue treatment. Having invested over $2,200.00 in this treatment, it is disheartening to face the same issue again. It is utterly unacceptable for anyone striving to afford their healthcare costs to manage their weight. This issue mirrors what happened with your competitors, and yet it has recurred under your watch.
If you were barely managing financially and had allocated $550.00 monthly for this medication, only to be unable to access it for the second time in less than six months, what would you do? Or what would you expect Lilly to do to rectify this situation?
Claimed loss: I have spent over $2,200.00 only to have the treatment halted due to a lack of supplies, with no concrete date for when the product will be available again for us folks in South Florida.
Desired outcome: Ensure the prompt delivery of my medication to avoid treatment delays or compensate me for the funds paid for a full treatment course that your company has failed to provide.

Olumiant co pay card program
Hi, I wanted to make a formal complaint so that no one else has to go through what I went through obtaining your co pay card. October 4th, 2023 I was approved for my co pay card and overjoyed that I can continue this medication and for only $5.00. It is now March 29, 2024 and after calling probably a 100 times between Olumiant, Kaiser, Med Impact and...

Zepbound
The FDA site listing Medication Shortages, lists Zepbound as in stock. Lilly's site also says pharmacists can order medication from their wholesaler, however that is not the case as can be seen by the many news articles siting that there is no supply to be had. I have called 3 states and numerous pharmacies all telling me they do not have any product that they can order and no information as to when it will be available.
As a user and shareholder in Eli Lilly stock, I am upset with the lack of transparency in availability.
Please let the public know when they can expect shipments. As a shareholder it makes me question the integrity of the company.
Desired outcome: Transparency in availability of Zepbound.

I opened my child's Humalog Junior Quick Pen package and one of the pens was broken, and there was no insulin inside
I opened my child's Humalog Junior Quick Pen package and one of the pens was broken, and there was no insulin inside. I tried calling for three days, waiting for an hour or more each time, but no one answered. There was no email or live chat option available, just a phone number where they kept me on hold the whole time.
On December 3rd, my Mounjaro pen failed
On December 3rd, my Mounjaro pen failed. I checked the pen and found a broken needle. So, I tried another injection to make sure I got the medication. I've been trying for three hours to get in touch with *** Lilly to report this problem, but I couldn't reach a real person who could help me. This is my first bad experience with them after using their injectable medication for three years. It's really disappointing dealing with *** Lilly.
I applied for Trulicity Patient Assistance thru Lilly Cares
I applied for Trulicity Patient Assistance thru Lilly Cares. I sent my first app out on August 1. It was received on August 3 (I got a tracking number.) A month went by with no response. I faxed the same app on September 2. Still no response. I'm running low on this med, which is real pricey, 'cause I live on a fixed income. I wanna know if I'm approved (which I think I am) and when I might get my med. Trulicity works real good for me and I don't wanna go back to my old med 'cause it lowers my sugar way too much. Thank you
I've been taking Mounjaro since August
I've been taking Mounjaro since August. When I started, I downloaded a saving coupon that's supposed to be valid until 6/23 for a $25 copay. There were no DX restrictions on this coupon. However, I've been facing a lot of trouble using the coupon and getting my medicine. Pharmacies won't fill the prescription and won't honor the coupon because my DX states that the medicine is only for one specific condition, and the same applies to the savings card. This is not what we were told. The savings card I have is supposed to be good until 6/23, and I was told I could use it regardless of my DX. This medicine has changed my life and helped me lose 70 pounds, relieving me of many preexisting health issues. It shouldn't be taken away from me now. *** marketed this to doctors for weight loss, and now they won't honor it for that purpose. It feels like a bait and switch. We deserve our medicine just like everyone else.
I've been takin Emgality (120mg/ml) for migranes by monthly self-injections for the last year
I've been takin Emgality (120mg/ml) for migranes by monthly self-injections for the last year. This month (on Aug 15) my pre-filled pen messed up while tryin to inject myself. The needle thingy didn't come out but the medicine came out of the thingy. I called Lilly to tell them what happened and get a new one. The person on the phone said it happens a lot but they ain't gonna give me a new pen or give me back my $33. They said I gotta go without my medicine this month. They even had the nerve to ask me to mail the messed up pen to their safety people. This ain't fair! Other companies replace stuff that don't work right, so why won't this medicine company do the same? There gotta be a law for this. ComplaintsBoard.com, please help me fix this problem!
Lilly got a good program for Trulicity reimbursement, which I've been using since 2018
Lilly got a good program for Trulicity reimbursement, which I've been using since 2018. My savings card is in my office in New York City, and we got sent home suddenly in February because of COVID. I couldn't get my card. When I called, they said to go online and get a new card to use with my request. So, I did that, but now they say they won't accept my claim because the new card was after my purchase. I did what they told me, and I can't access my old card. Then the lady tells me my old card expired, which I wouldn't have known because I don't have it. I could have gotten a new one in February . I asked for a supervisor, but I was put on hold for over 30 mins and told there's no one to help me. They should provide some assistance with COVID because this wasn't my fault, and every penny matters. I never had a problem before, and I just need some help.
I was using the Monjour injection and I received several faulty needles
I was using the Monjour injection and I received several faulty needles. I contacted *** on November 10th, 2022, and they said they would replace them. They sent me a package to return the faulty needles, but they never sent a replacement to the Drugstore, even though they had all the necessary information. I stayed in touch with the Drugstore, but they never received anything from *** on my behalf. I called them multiple times, but they kept transferring me to different departments, and each department gave me conflicting information. They even provided me with a claim number for the replacement injection, but nothing was ever done, even with the claim number. Now it's December 6th, 2022, and still nothing has been resolved. I have been without my medication for almost 4 weeks, and I really need it for my health and well-being. If you could assist me in any way, I would greatly appreciate it. My claim number is ***. Thank you.
To whom it may concern, I've been in the Lilly Cares Patient Assistance Program since November
To whom it may concern, I've been in the Lilly Cares Patient Assistance Program since November . Lately, when I tried to renew my yearly application in September 2022, I got approved on October 2022. However, I've been trying to get my Taltz injections refilled for over a month with no luck. I contacted LabCorp on November 3, 2022 to refill my medication and they said that the Lilly Cares Program didn't send my prescription. I've tried reaching out 3 times in the past month with no success. Every representative says they can't send the prescription that my doctor sent directly to LabCorp. They've also refused to let me speak to a supervisor to fix the issue. On November 21, 2022, I asked my doctor to resend the prescription in front of me and I tried calling LabCorp again. However, they said they don't have my prescription on file. I kindly ask Eli Lilly & Company to please help me refill my medication. I have to take my Taltz medication on December 3, 2022. If I can't inject myself, it could harm my health. Right now, I'm worried that I won't have access to my medication on time. The best solution, in my opinion, is for Lilly Cares to send my prescription to LabCorp and make sure they received it electronically, so I can refill my medication.
June 11: I called Lilly to start the application process
June 11: I called Lilly to start the application process. I confirmed that I don't have a job and no insurance. (I take care of my elderly mom who has Stage 2 Alzheimer's.) In the afternoon, I faxed my application along with the prescription.
July 14: I called Lilly to check the status of my application. They said they needed verbal confirmation of my unemployment. I explained that I already gave that on June 11 and I'm giving it again now. They said they mailed a letter to me on June 19 and to my doctor on June 21. I checked with my doctor's office, but neither of us received the letter.
July 27: I called Lilly to confirm if my application was approved. They said it was approved on July 14, but they are waiting on the pharmacy. I asked why they are waiting when I faxed the prescription with my application on June 11. I provided all the necessary information like the medication name, dosage, refill, order number, doctor's ID number, NPI number, doctor's practice address, fax number, phone number, my full name, and address. All the important details were either typed or written clearly.
They transferred me to the pharmacy department, and I was put on hold for 45 minutes. I think they transferred me just to calm me down. In 2007, I applied for medication with Lilly Cares and had no problems. I used their service for 2 years until I got health insurance. Something has obviously changed now. This change is unintentionally hurting patients like me who rely on these medications. I am one of those patients.
Why offer prescription assistance to people whose health and lives depend on it if Lilly doesn't do what they advertise and their employees lack integrity to follow through with their responsibilities?
