Spot delivery bait and switch never got down payment back
Spot delivery for an Audi. Received a call weeks later about another page I had to sign. Came in and said couldn’t get financed on a German car, so I signed new contract for an infinity. Received a call a month later that I wasn’t financed and they repossessed the car. They never gave my $2500 back. I hate them and wish nothing but misery in their lives.
Recommendation: Don’t ever go to them. If you do and receive a phone call later about a paperwork issue and need to go back. Tell them you are going to talk to your lawyer before signing anything else.
Fraudulent practices -- FALSE ADVERTISEMENT with online sale prices
Fraudulent practices -- FALSE ADVERTISEMENT with online sale prices. Rude and incompetent managers. How hasn't anyone sued these guys yet?
Elite Motors, Inc. (http://www.elitemotorsonline.com/) is a total scam! They lure you in with their so-called "online sale prices," but don't be fooled, it's all a big fat lie. The prices they advertise are completely false and misleading.
And let's not even get started on their managers. These guys are the epitome of rudeness and incompetence. They have no clue how to treat their customers with respect and dignity. It's like they were trained to be jerks.
I seriously can't believe that no one has taken legal action against these crooks. It's mind-boggling how they continue to get away with their deceitful practices.
Save yourself the headache and stay far away from Elite Motors, Inc. You'll thank me later.
This place is awful
This place is awful...completely lied to me, telling me I was approved and driving home in a new car just to get there and nope! And then tried to intimidate a single mom when questioning and wanting to file a complaint. He gave me the wrong email address to their manager. Misled me just to get me in there.
They have bait and switch practices
They have bait and switch practices. I went in to look at an Audi Q5 that was listed for ***. After waiting an hour, they come back with the paperwork totaling around ***. I get the taxes and things like that, but adding in paint protection, glass etching, etc. for a total of *** more is just crazy. Ended up walking out. Stay clear, they are not upfront. You can go elsewhere and get an honest deal with this place does not.
This place is really bad
This place is really bad. They lie to you on the phone and say they'll help you get a car. But when you get there, nothing happens. The lady kept calling me sweet heart, she's probably old enough to be my mom. They had really loud music playing. They tried to show me the car I wanted, but it wouldn't even move. What a joke. Then another crappy car showed up, it was so dirty inside and out. I can't believe this dealership is allowed to stay open. Don't go there.
Horrible cars
Horrible cars. I bought a 2016 F150 with 76k on it. The very next day, the truck died 3 times. The truck has a lot of miles on it and has died about 6 times in less than 2 weeks of purchase. I wanted to bring it in, but couldn't because there aren't enough staff to work on the vehicle, or so we were told. I had to buy an extended warranty out of my own pocket to basically fix this junk and now I have to pay an extra $91 a month on a expensive vehicle. I took the truck to a dealership and they found over 16 codes that were deleted before I bought it.
This car place told me I was approved for a car
This car place told me I was approved for a car. We signed contracts and they took my down payment. But guess what? TWO MONTHS LATER, they call me up and say they couldn't get the financing and want the car back! Can you believe it? I checked if this was even legal. Turns out, it's called the spot delivery scam and it's illegal in most places, but not in IL. Most dealerships don't pull this kind of stuff. When I confronted them about their scam, they just shrugged and said IL is a spot state, so they can do whatever they want. They know it's a scam and they do it on purpose. They're just trying to squeeze more money out of people by getting a bigger down payment or a higher interest rate. They're counting on folks being desperate enough to do anything to keep the car. Can you believe the nerve?
I recently made a deal on a truck at Elite Motors, Inc
I recently made a deal on a truck at Elite Motors, Inc. and was surprised by the hidden fees that came along with it. They slapped on a Total Protection Plan for $2999, which supposedly covers tires, etching, and other miscellaneous things. They claim it's mandatory for all vehicles, but they call it a protection plan or warranty, even though it doesn't include the motor or transmission. I checked their website, and there's no mention of this mandatory fee, which I think is way too expensive to begin with.
On top of that, there are some additional fees and taxes that they conveniently forgot to mention on their website. They include a $10 fee for a thirty-day drive away permit, a $324.24 documentary fee, and sales tax for residents of *** and residents of tax reciprocal states with ***. If you're not sure if your state is reciprocal with , you'll have to give them a call or send them an email. And if you're an out-of-state buyer, you'll be responsible for all state, county, and city taxes and fees, as well as title and registration fees in the state where the vehicle will be registered.
Overall, I'm not too happy with the way Elite Motors, Inc. handles their fees and taxes. It would have been nice if they were upfront about these costs from the beginning.
They got this bait and switch thing going on
They got this bait and switch thing going on. They'll be like, "Yeah, we accept ITIN for credit," but then they go and use some random social that ain't even yours. That's straight-up fraud, man. And get this, they try to sell you this warranty for your car, saying it covers almost everything except normal wear and tear, but guess what? It don't cover jack squat! I'm talking about zero, zilch, nada. Can you believe it? I've been calling everyone and their mama over there, trying to get some help, but nobody bothers to call me back. Attorneys, if you're reading this, hit me up! These guys are all about that fraudulent life. And here's the kicker, they tell you they can't give you any paperwork, it's all gonna be through email. But guess what? They never send it! I had no clue what was going on until I tried to register and make my first payment, and the last 4 digits of my ITIN weren't working. So I go up in there, and they basically tell me to shut my trap or they'll take away the truck. How in the world is this legal? It's a classic bait and switch, man.

I bought a car from Elite Motors, Inc
I bought a car from Elite Motors, Inc. on November 4th. I paid the full amount but still haven't received the title as of February 8th, 2022. I called, left a voicemail, and sent four emails asking about the title, but I haven't received any response.
I got a whole month to cancel the extra warranty they added, but dang, I can't get nobody from the business to call me back
I got a whole month to cancel the extra warranty they added, but dang, I can't get nobody from the business to call me back. It's like they're dodging my calls on purpose, tryna make my policy expire so I'm stuck with a whopping $3000 down the drain.
We bought a car here 7 months ago, and we've been having problems with it ever since
We bought a car here 7 months ago, and we've been having problems with it ever since. It keeps stalling and the sensors don't work properly. They told us it was almost new and had hardly been driven when we bought it, but when we had it checked, we found out it had been in a flood. We had to take it to 3 different places before it finally passed the emissions test. We want them to fix it or give us a working car instead.

On February 02, I bought (online) a 2008 *** (last six of VIN #527777)
On February 02, I bought (online) a 2008 *** (last six of VIN #527777). It was supposed to be delivered (I paid an extra $500.00 for delivery) on the 8th of February, but it hasn't arrived! I've called, emailed, messaged, and left voicemails with Elite Motors many times, but they haven't responded! They've cashed the loan check for over $12,000.00, and I've already titled, plated, and insured the vehicle! Can someone please help me fix this problem?
Firstly, just two days after I bought the truck, the check engine light came on and Elite Motors didn't wanna check it out or fix it
Firstly, just two days after I bought the truck, the check engine light came on and Elite Motors didn't wanna check it out or fix it. Secondly, the door locks and hinges didn't work on the vehicle either, and when I brought it back for them to take a look, they told me I gotta pay $600 for it. I bought this truck 'cause they said it was in good working order and that it came with a 45-day warranty. They told me if anything went wrong, I could bring it in and they'd fix it. Clearly, that didn't happen and now they wanna charge me for everything.
I bought a 2017 *** Tiguan & A 2016 *** Cruze LT **** Elite motors IN ***, ** the *** broke down at *** miles and stopped
I bought a 2017 *** Tiguan & A 2016 *** Cruze LT *** Elite motors IN ***, *** the *** broke down at *** miles and stopped working and only had it for 2 years I still owe $15,000 on it. I was promised a warranty for these issues and when I brung the warranty in for a fix it was a different story. They wanted money for this issue. And so I couldnt afford the fix so I let someone take over payments where as I purchased another car, the 2017 *** Tiguan where the engine light popped on 2 days into me having it, 1 week later the car would not start the battery was completely dead. I was once again promised this had a warranty on it and road side assistance when I called for that when the car shut off that was also non existent.
I went to Elite on Saturday, July 17th, hoping to trade in my used car for a truck
I went to Elite on Saturday, July 17th, hoping to trade in my used car for a truck. I test drove a 2014 *** X5 and liked it, but I asked the person helping me to appraise my 2013 *** C250 before making any decisions about the ***. I had been to Elite before in 2019, so they already had my personal info like address and social security number. On 7/17, I updated my address in their system. I told them not to check my credit until I was okay with the trade appraisal amount. They gave me an appraisal of $5000, which I didn't agree with. When the finance manager (***) came back with the appraisal info, I immediately said no. The next day (Sunday, 7/18), I saw that Elite had checked my credit without my permission. I didn't sign any documents during my visit the day before.
On November 23th, I bought a 2015 **** mustang (Vin: ***) from Elite Motor
On November 23th, I bought a 2015 *** mustang (Vin: ***) from Elite Motor. I paid about $24000 for the car. Before I buy the car, I asked them about the possible faults that the car may have, and they didn't tell me any of the faults. After I bought the car, the check engine light was on after some drive. And I brought the car to a small shop, they can't find the problem and reset the check engine light. After 2 weeks drive, the check engine light was on again. This time, I brought it to a large repair shop, and they contacted the *** dealership, then the repair shop and the *** dealership found that the car was actually not complete. The turbocharger was changed completely, the sensors, hoses, and many other parts around the turbocharger were missing, and the turbocharger was actually an aftermarket one. None of these were told to me by Elite *** when I purchased this car, though I asked them to tell me many times. To fix this problem, the repair shop worked with the *** dealership, and it cost me $4100. I want Elite Motors *** to cover this part of the repair cost because they chose to hide information that must be told to customers.
I went to this car dealer cuz I was told on the phone by one of their reps that I was totally qualified for their 5$ down promo
I went to this car dealer cuz I was told on the phone by one of their reps that I was totally qualified for their 5$ down promo. When I got there, they said I didn't qualify for that promo. So I put $1500 down on a 2017 Ford Escape, and after having it for 3 weeks, they told me they couldn't get me financed and I had to give up the car. So the next day, I offered to pay them the rest of the cash for the car, and the boss told me it was actually $2000 more. So I told them they could come get the car, which they did that same night. The contract says that if they can't get financing, they'll refund the down payment minus any charges for getting the car back. I called to check on my down payment, and they said I ain't getting nothing cuz they had to get the car. It's hard to believe they had to pay $1500 to get it. They won't tell me what charges they had for getting the car. They also applied for financing from different banks for cars I never even looked at. This company is sneaky and not honest.
Me and my wife went here to look at a car she was told that was in stock
Me and my wife went here to look at a car she was told that was in stock. When we arrived, we were told that car was not "available". The sales man was nice at first and the store had a weird vibe to it. We went on a test drive (at night) in a similar vehicle. We noticed that the tires were not balanced and shook when we got up tp speed. He said it would be fixed by the shop. He also did not disclose the damage on the side of the car, or that the car had bad valve stems, and the window tint was so bad it was starting to bubble days after we took delivery. We felt rushed, the sales man was rude to my wife. I Called several time to set up service for the tires, they never returned my call. I ended up doing the work myself. The tires were out of balance and two rear tires had leaking valve stems. The simple maintenance that this car needed could have been done by anyone. They sold us a car that was unsafe, damaged, and unclean. The paint was so bad, it took me hours to polish it. I would suggest avoiding this dealership. They don't give a c*** about the people that buy their cars. I also received a call the from a manager asking me to change my review to 5 star, he offered me money. I called back and asked if they can just fix the failing window tint. I was told they would call me back. Never heard from them again.
I bought a 2015 Porsche Macan on June 17, 2022
I bought a 2015 Porsche Macan on June 17, 2022. While buying it, they told me about a fee to have a protective coating put on the car. It's supposed to protect against door dings, scratches, and window rock chips. They also mentioned an extra set of keys in case of a lost key, seat protection, and a GPS system. I told them I didn't want all that stuff, but they said it was already included and I had to pay for it.
I talked to my banker who financed the car, and she told me that the state of *** doesn't allow car dealerships to add their own options and make the consumer pay for them. That was a problem for me. Then, when I was sitting in my garage looking at my vehicle, I noticed that the protective coating they put on had bubbles and wrinkles in a few spots. It made the paint look like it was cracking, even though it wasn't. The dealership added this coating themselves.
I called the dealership to let them know about it, and the manager, ***, said he would call me with a date to bring the vehicle back for them to look at it. But to this day, I haven't received a call or any resolution to this issue. I also feel like the product they made me pay for is false. I called the company that is supposed to carry the insurance for this protection plan to ask about the coating and extra key, and they told me that the policy wasn't even in effect. So essentially, I paid *** for a product I didn't receive, and it has made the vehicle look terrible.
On June 28, 2022, at 3:00 pm, I went to Elite Motors *** in *** to ask about a used car I saw online
On June 28, 2022, at 3:00 pm, I went to Elite Motors *** in *** to ask about a used car I saw online. I walked in and Keveon, a Sales Rep, greeted me. We sat down, and I told him which vehicle I was interested in. The first thing he asked for was my Drivers License so I could test drive the car. I gave him my Driver License. Then, he asked for my Social Security Number, and I stopped him right away. I told him not to check my credit because I hadn't even seen the car yet. He insisted that he only needed it for faster service if I decided to buy the car. I agreed and gave him my SSN, as long as he didn't check my credit yet. He then asked me about my income and housing expenses, and I provided the information. Again, I reminded him not to check my credit yet. Finally, he asked for my Paycheck Stubs, and for the third time, I told him not to check my credit because I still hadn't seen the car. He agreed not to. After I emailed the documents, Keveon went to talk to his manager. As he was coming back to me, I got an email notification saying that there was a Hard Inquiry on my credit report. I confronted Keveon and told him that I DID NOT give him permission to check my credit. He immediately started making excuses, saying it wasn't him. He even tried to blame the phone receptionist who took my call earlier, even though I only gave her my name and phone number. He then said it was probably his manager who checked my credit, so I insisted on talking to him. Keveon went to get the manager, and he admitted that he checked my credit. He said it was a "normal process" and there was a miscommunication between him and Keveon, even though I told Keveon three times not to check my credit. The manager didn't even bother to apologize, so I left.
