Excellent products & information
When I was contemplating purchase of a 2021 F150 PowerBoost model, I searched the net to find out if a B&W under bed gooseneck hitch was available, and whether I could use the one installed on my 2016 F150. Initially there was no data. When I checked eTrailer.com, I found that a model was available. I was concerned about whether the hitch would fit the PowerBoost model, which has the hybrid battery packaged under the bed. I submitted the question and got an answer within a day. After I bought the truck I ordered the hitch and it was quickly delivered. I have found www.etrailer.com to be an informative site with a comprehensive offering of all sorts of hitches and trailer maintenance and replacement parts.
Reese hitch adaptor #30154 used with 2018 RAM 3500 dually 8ft bed
The Reese hitch adaptor #30154 fit nicely in to our 2018 RAM dually 8ft bed factory puck system so we could continue to use our Pro Series hitch. Our Pro Series hitch was previously used on our 2017 RAM 2500 6ft 4in bed for just one year so we wanted to continue to use that. The Reese hitch adaptor took us about an hour to install. Each of the four feet had vertical play and needed about 4 turns to fit snugly in to the factory puck system. No problem with the cotter pins. Just straighten them out and stick them back in once all adjustment is complete and rebend. Took our 5th wheel trailer in for service 2 days later and everything worked great. The Reese adaptor is well designed and easy to install. Etrailer.com answered all my questions and the shipping was quick. Donnie C.

Excellent knowledge of the subject
Actually I was quite surprised, and pleased, to hear back from Michael with such a thorough answer to my question. I had discussed this issue with many camping friends and a couple RV dealerships and was told that I could not combine the B&W Turnover ball with air bags. Since the both occupy the same area of the frame only one could be installed.
Michael not only advised me that it could be done, he provided the exact part numbers for the air bag kit that I need. He also guided me to eTrailer videos covering the installation on a similar vehicle with the Turnover ball alread installed. I couldn't be happier. I intend to order the kit after this camping season and do the installation myself this fall.
Thank you Michael, and eTrailer. Knowledge is power, service is everything.

Quick Response to Question
I recently purchased a 2018 Toyota 4Runner and wanted to add the Westin Lighted Running Boards. The description of the product listed the custom installation kit was not included and I could not find the custom installation kit on the eTrailer website, so I asked the question to the eTrailer experts. I received a quick response from Kyle S. That was very detailed and included the part number for the kit I need for the installation. I appreciate the help from Kyle and I ordered the running boards and installation kit on 7/3/18. I am looking forward to receiving them and putting them on our 4Runner. I will definitely post again once I receive the items and after I have installed the running boards. I have ordered from eTrailer in the past and I have never had to make a return or received the wrong parts, so Im sure this order will be accurate and delivered quickly.
Exceeded my expectations
I don't hand out 5reviews often. While I consider myself reasonable, I expect good value for my hard-earned dollars. Vendors have to earn my business.
I had several questions relating to snow chains (my first set ever!) and Conner was quick to respond with detailed advice. Surprisingly, he didn't recommend the most expensive chains. I purchased the ones he recommended and they arrived two days earlier than promised!
I just got around to installing them (relying on the etrailer video). As expected, it took considerably longer, but they fit perfectly. While I haven't had a chance to test them in winter conditions yet, I was pleased with the apparent quality and ease of installation. The carrying case is a nice plus.
Great to have a vendor exceed my expectations in every way. Complete confidence in the product and ability to install them properly. I wouldn't hesitate to order again from them and recommend them highly.

I have bought several things from etrailer.com (2 towing hitches, a roof rack, snowboard rack, bike rack, rooftop cargo box, wiring for hitch mount, etc.). The products are great (brand names like thule, yakima, and others) and are priced very well. The site has all sorts of info for figuring out which items will fit your vehicle and then provides guides for installation. The guides are not factory ones, but ones written by real people who have installed the very same thing. The site also tells you which other items you might need in tandem for proper installation.
The shipping was very quick, I even got upgraded to faster shipping for no extra cost this last order (bonus since I would have been just fine to have gotten it in 2 weeks rather than 1 at Christmas time). I got emails every step of the way: confirmation of order, shipped with tracking info, and a final email from an actual person telling me that UPS informed them that the item was delivered to my door and that they wanted to verify.
They'll e-mail you to ask you to fill out surveys, but it's not much to ask when compared to the horrendous experiences I've had with other retail sites that have asked me for comments. I'll take a minute or two to help out a company that has enabled me to haul, pull, and play by outfitting my cars for years.
I appreciate your response
Jameson, I keep my tires inflated to the recommended inflation and have even tried 10 lbs over. The air temp. Seems To be usually in the mid to upper 90s. Im Leary of a 75 mph tire since that is right about the speed I travel. What would you recomend for a 85 MPH tire and load range D? How long to get them? What about increasing the tire size? See my original post below.
Every year I tow a 19 Bass Boat from Florida to Missouri in July. For the last 4 years I have a blowout or TWO! Im running Goodyear Marathon 205/75 R14 load range C. I dont put any extra weight in the boat and [protected]@ 70 to 74 MPH in 90 degree plus heat. Im getting too old for. This what is the best tire solution I could do.

Most trailer tires are only rated for 65 MPH so the issue you are having could easily be from heat build up due to the speed rating getting exceeded. Other possibility is that the tires aren't inflated to their max pressure. Trailer tires need to be inflated to the max pressure to ensure you get the full capacity and and don't cause excessive heat build up.
What I would recommend for you tire size is the # LHWL201. This tire has a speed rating of 75 mph and has a weight capacity of 1,760 lbs at 50 psi. What's also great is that it has a 2 year roadside assistance program
If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
Poor communication problem fixed
Update 3/30/21-Thanks to Crystal for calling me and helping resolve my issues. I am very pleased with the outcome.
I ordered about $4,000 of gear for a trip I have coming up and with shipping delays I called ahead to check availability before i placed the order. One of them items was to be made at the time of order and the web site said 10 to 15 day lead time so I double checked by calling to verify and etrailer said it would be to me no later than 15 days (per a phone call they made to the manufacturer).
I received very good communication on all the items but one (the bed cover), so after 8 days i called just to make sure we were still on target for the trip i had planned. The news i got was not great, i was told it would be 30 days (twice as long as i was told) so needless to say it was not good news.
At this point i had received all the gear to mount to the bed cover so i asked to speak with a supervisor to discuss another option that would allow me to mount the gear i had as temporary fix for my trip.
Up to this point my frustration was that I had to follow up on the status of my order because most of the reviews I read said communications were great.
But as I sit here today I am on day two just waiting to hear back from a supervisor to discuss a possible solution that would allow me to use thousands of dollars of gear just sitting in my garage.
I understand shipping issues and supply chain problems right now but that has nothing to do with their ability to communicate.
I'll fill yall in on the details as soon i hear from etrailer.
I order tons of parts off the internet and this is the first review i can remember doing.
I save $400!
I just got a new car Chev Equniox 2017 and needed a hitch. Three quotes I got were all over $500! Then I found etrailer.com! I got everything I needed for $125 delivered in three days after ordering it!
So far so good... I watch the videos they are good... but do they really think their internet buyers just happen to have a lift in their driveway?
So STEP ONE! Open up the box and remove the hitch by taking a screw driver and popping up the copper staples then pulling them with a pair of pyers... both sides. Remove hitch from the box... put folded down box on the ground under the rear of the car.
STEP TWO! Open the bolt package up and run the nuts up and down the carraige bolts with a little but of olive oil on the thread so you can do this with your fingers. Take the other 4 bolts and run them in and out of the nuts welded to the frame of the car... again do it so you can do it with your fingers... get a die to clean out the threads in the frame if you have to!
It is essential that you be able to install the nuts and bolts with your fingers.
Step THREE: follow the instructions that came with the hitch for putting in the carriage bolts! Be very careful... you are under the car and playing around with a very fine wire that can poke your eye out! WEAR SAFETY GLASSES!
Step FOUR: REMOVE THE two auto body fasteners holding the fender in place. How? This was my biggest problem! But with Youtube Here is the answer: You have to pry out the center plug then remove the base plug from the frame holder to free the bumper to move it... this is a very important step because unless you get that bumper to move it is next to impossible to put the nuts on the two center carriage bolts.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=v5_V-ab5V7s
Step Five: take two 10 inch blocks and put them on each side under the hitch, then lift the hitch onto the blocks, line everything up so when you lift the hitch up those final two inches the two center holes will line up!
Step Six: Starting on the drivers side lift up the hitch and jam a shoe in between the block and the hitch. Wedging it up until the bottom hole on the frame lines up... then put a bolt with washer on it... just get it started... then do the other side starting on the bottom then the top then the top back on the drivers side.
Step SEVEN, Take a close look at those two carriage bolts, the threds should be completely extended down before you tighten up the four bolts in step 6.
When you do tighten them up just do it a little to hold the hitch in place so everything is FLAT around the carriage bolt area and secure!
Step Eight: This step was left out of all the company videos!
Taking two hands, one on each side of the center of the bumper, grab the fender and gently pull it up so the edge of the plastic hooks itself over the hitch receiver area. You have to have enough tension on those four bolts to keep the hitch from moving.
Step Nine: With the fender out of the way, it is now very easy to place the washer and nuts onto the carriage bolts.
Step 10: Tighten down every thing as tight as you can if you have a torque wrench then head for 70 lbs if not then tighten it down and check it every season!
Step 11: Grab that bumper and gently lift it up until it pops back into place.
You are done. Do make sure to read the owners manual! The towing capacity of the hitch is different than the towing capacity of the car you attached it to... more than likely the black box would pick up on this over towing and this could possible VOID your warrenty!

My wife and I bought a used travel trailer last year that we knew was going to need some older components replaced and or upgrades that we wanted to do to the trailer. Several people that we know recommended Etrailer to us, the website is super easy to navigate I love how every part we have bought has very good precise measurements listed on the website to take all the guess work out and most of what we have purchased has an in-depth install tutorial video right in the product description. Everything I have purchased has gone really get on the trailer with ease. It seems that no sooner do I finish my order I get an email that my products were being processed and getting ready to ship, every shipment has been on time or early. With the ease of use of the website and how every part I’ve ordered has been the right part from the get go because of the in-depth detailed description of each part I plan on doing some more upgrades to our camper and I will definitely be using Etrailer for each upgrade
Was very negotiable on what I was looking for and set me up with just want I needed. Packed it up and and shipped it rite out and I had the parts in just a few days. Great company and easy to work with.
Had an exceptional experience working with the customer service team. The amended my order for me, and shipped it out on the same day. Products are high quality. Very satisfied.
Reasonable shipping time. Ordered a few Lynch pins and one is really hard to open so the quality could be better but it will work for now.
This is the fourth trailer hitch and electric cables I buy from etrailer.com. I am confident I get good quality products with great installation videos for good price.
Great product and relatively easy to install with just a few tools and a bit of muscle
Great product and relatively easy to install with just a few tools and a bit of muscle. I got the 2-bike, swing arm, folding rack for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. The price was very reasonable/competitive, and the shipping/tracking was efficient and timely. The box is heavy for sure, but packed/shipped well. The only minor thing is that this bike rack does not fully clear my spare tire mount and tire; and wouldn't fold up all the way (in stow mode). Perhaps I missed something in the forum/discussion- as I thought this rack would clear/fold, but keep in mind you may need an additional extension bar for your hitch mount to clear, especially if you have a spare-tire rack that handles big tires. My spare tire mount (factory) had a RedRock 4x4 relocation mount on the factory/tailgate door mount to accommodate my 315's, so I had to take off the spare tire and the relocation mount. Nonetheless, it did the trick and now my bikes clear the spare mount and folds up and stows nicely, when not in use.
Ordered 2 trailer tires 5x 5.5. Hit them quick but they were 4 x4.5. It seems to be mislabeled by the manufacturer so not really etrailer problem. They are shipping a New set. No hassle! Hopefully these will be correct I really want to get out on the boat!
Wire Kit for hitch was pretty simple but did not come with mounting braket for the plug witch I thought was bs. So I haft to get a bracket before I go on my trip. Delivery wasn't as quick as I thought it would be took around 5 days if I remember right.
Easy to find what I needed. Videos were clear and concise. Delivery was very quick.
Fast delivery ! fit perfect install was a "SNAP"( I bought Snap Pads for my motorhome). Will use you guys again.
Terrific products and great customer service is all I experienced
Terrific products and great customer service is all I experienced. I ordered a kit to wire my truck for trailer brakes and controller and the kit and installation videos made it easy. I have never done this type of installation so the kit made it a snap but a few things in the 4 wire flat to 7 wire conversion kit that I think should be included would be a rubber wiring grommet to go through the firewall, several wire hangers and screws to hold the wire into place and an extension post for connecting the hot wire to the battery. I also needed a brake controller and again, I’ve never done this type of installation so the videos were great, product works no complaints. I think a plug in pigtail kit should be standard or at least recommended for the brake controller. I did not have that and so I had to cut off the plug and individually connect each of the four wires as well as purchase more duplex wire to complete the installation. All in all, great parts, great installation support and very fast delivery. I will use them again.
service was great, helpful and was able to order exactly what I was looking for.
Just what I ordered, and happy for that. But, it was promised to be delivered on Thursday, plenty of time before my weekend trip. It was delivered 5 days later on Tuesday. Not happy.
Great customer service. The representative took his time to help me. Figure out exactly what I needed. Fast shipping.
Ordered a suspension airbag kit, online it said, “in stock”, initial email stated it was in “stock”, then got an email from an associate that the item was in transit from manufacturer and the delivery and ship date would be changed. In transit from the manufacturer isn’t “in stock” and having this clearly labeled on your website and In communications is totally deceptive.
I received fantastic customer service from a company
I received fantastic customer service from a company. I had placed my order online. The day of the order said that my hitch would be arriving on a specific date. Having not received a confirmation that my unit had shipped I called the company and spoke to Will. I told him I had planned a trip to pick up my new trailer per the dates I received on my order. After looking into it for me, he showed that the hitch would not be delivered on time for me to pick up my trailer that I was driving across 3 states to pick up. Will said he couldn't promise anything but would do his best to get it shipped as fast as possible. He came through in what I thought would be an impossible task. The hitch arrived on time and so did I. Thank you, Will, and thank you to the company for not treating me like just a number but a real customer with a real problem. I will be using this company in the future because of this reason. I felt I was a valued customer and was treated like one. Highly recommend using this company for any of your trailer needs. Pricing was on point too!
Great service, very very fast shipping . Will use Etrailer again.
The Curt class 3 trailer hitch receiver is a perfect fit and super easy to install on my 2023 Ford Bronco WildTrak! My husband literally installed it in 15-20 minutes tops. No welding needed and bolts are sturdy and perfectly align with the predrilled holes on the Bronco.
GREAT TO WORK WITH HELPFULL VIDEOS AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
I love eTrailer! They may not always beat on price, but they have excellent customer service and fast shipping!
I've used E-Trailer for a few years
I've used E-Trailer for a few years. Buying a 3 way refrigerator, RV bathtub, & this hitch to name a few. They have always been prompt in their delivery, & have sent the right parts the 1st time. The prices are reasonable as well. The Class 3 hitch for my 2010 *** SanteFe arrived quickly & fits perfectly. I had to search a long time to find the right (10 X ***) tap to retread the 4 holes so that I could install the hitch. (Ace Hardware was the only place that carried them in stock!) But otherwise, everything went together as it was designed to do. I used Bull Tape (***#) to temporarily pull the muffler out of the way, both for the retread of the holes, & for the actual bolting & torquing process. NOTE to prospective buyers: Watch the installation videos provided. they explain in detail what is needed to do the job.Doing the install by myself, the actual installation took only about 25 minutes (Not including re-tapping the holes). No jacking required. Very easy job.Now just have to wire the 6 pin connector for all of my
My wife and I purchased e-bikes and needed a new bike rack
My wife and I purchased e-bikes and needed a new bike rack. The bike dealer recommended Kuat and I knew that Thule also make quality products. We are also full time RV'ers and only have 2 weeks left in our current location so I knew I could get the bike rack cheaper on-line but could I get it delivered in time. After doing some research on-line I went to etrailers web site to see what they offered. I was amazed at the quantity of bike racks they offered and the ability to select and compare many different racks. etrailer was able to deliver the rack I selected in 4 days. It was one day late but I am still impressed that a 51 pound bike rack can be deliver that quickly, hats off to etrailer and UPS for a quick delivery and the package was almost in perfect shape. While I was not happy with how much a high quality bike rack capable of carrying over 100 pounds costs, I was happy with the price I paid to etrailer compared to other retailers. I have used etrailer many times in the past for our RV'ing and trailering needs and as always I was very happy with there service.

Regarding the etrailer.com: (25 Ft 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness - Wishbone Style - 25' Ground) This is my second set of trailer wiring I have ordered from etrailer.com and in my opinion, not only is the product superior to others with similar offers but no one beats the service provided. Very fast delivery, well packaged and once it arrives, etrailer.com follows up with a personal email to make sure everything is okay with the order. I like this style of wiring, mainly because of the two full length ground wires. I own two old trailers, one flatbed style for hauling everything from tractors, cars, limbs and anything else I can pile on it and the other is a boat trailer for an 80's bass boat and the trailer is somewhat rusted. The wishbone wiring runs the length of both trailers. I replaced the wiring on the flatbed trailer a while back and it came out great. Now, the bass boat trailer. Very easy to install and like the first trailer, now the boat trailer has lights that work, mainly because of having a good solid ground to all the lighting. Thank you etrailer.com for a great product that works year after year.
My initial experience installing an electric brake kit
My initial experience installing an electric brake kit was seamless. I cannot imagine trying to purchase specific parts from less customer-oriented e-stores and expecting to be on the road safely in short order. With etrailer, the level of preparation and product overviews ensured I ordered the correct parts for both my vehicle and trailer side install, which were unmatched. The product arrived early after ordering, and the support was excellent. From the call center to the human-friendly email updates on delivery, to the helpful installation videos, I had all the assistance needed to complete the job correctly, safely, and quickly. I thought online retailers would struggle with customer care as in face-to-face interactions, but etrailer excels in this area and stands behind their product. They even answer customer questions directly, a stark contrast to some stores where other customers provide answers. My only minor critique is the repetitive background music in the installation videos; a variety of tunes would be a refreshing change.
Just as described by many others
Just as described by many others ... Solidly made and sturdy. Written and video instructions were great. I was considering asking my local repair shop to install it since it would be easier on a lift, but at the suggestion of another review, I used a few concrete paving blocks from my yard and the back of my 2021 RAV4 was up about 7 inches off the ground. Plenty of space to maneuver under the car. I loosened the two rubber hold-downs at the rear of the muffler and with the help of a friend, slid the hitch into position. One bolt on the driver side, push and pry to get the passenger side in place for the second bolt, and then got the last two bolts in place. As noted in the instructions, the space is very tight for the passenger side bolts, so it took a lot of turns with a box end wrench, but all fit well. The RAV4 is rated for up to *** lbs trailer, far under the hitch rating of *** lbs. If I do much trailering, I'll probably add a suspension lift for the rear.Only issue, also as noted by many others, the hitch is shipped in a thick cardboard box, but the box is no match for the heavy steel with its protrusions. Seeing the holes in the box, I was afraid the mounting hardware and instructions had fallen out of the box, but they were tucked securely into the receiver cavity.
Package arrived as promised with all parts included and new
Package arrived as promised with all parts included and new. After first watching the assembly video installation and assembly was easy. (I never could find a label for section "A & B", so a 1-sentence description would have been nice as the images are small.) Once tightly bolted in place there was no apparent wobble. My tow receiver is situated between horizontal steel plates so the included tools were awkward; I used a socket-based Allen and bolt wrench for a more secure fit. Being able to use the lock or just the cotter pin makes installation simple. Installing bikes the first time was a tight fit since mine is a large gravel and the others were women-sized road. Minor adjustments had to be made on positioning, which is part of the learning process. The bikes felt secure. The included tie-down straps may not be needed for short drives to the trailhead, but are a good idea for cross-country adventures, watching a $$$$ bike bouncing in the rearview is unsettling. The rails have small reflectors in the down position, a nice added feature. I added more side and rear reflectors and may try to install a "flag" for better rear visualization when backing. There is no bottle opener, but Hollywood may cater to a different clientele. My only "concern" is the potential effect of ultraviolet light on the plastic wheel trays. Only time will tell if they harden and crack.

To Whom it May Concern: I have been trying since (3-31-21) to get this product returned and to date (4-15-21) have had no luck. Words can't express how frustrated/aggravated I am with their customer service. The first time it was scheduled I was told they would pick it up between 12-5 on Friday...that Friday came and went with no service. I called back and the girl who I talked to rescheduled..again on a Friday...that day came and went with no service. I called back and was told by another CS representative that the second girl that scheduled it didn't get it to the girl who schedules the pickup in time and therefore the 2nd attempt was never really scheduled, also that there was a three day delay...SO here we go again! So it was again rescheduled for the next Friday and guess what! NO SERVICE! So on Monday, April 11th, I called the trucking company directly an spoke with Diana and was told they (the company scheduled to pick up) doesn't even service my area on those days! So she scheduled for Tuesday April 12th...and still no service! I called back and spoke with Alex and he said the trucking companies computers were down and they would call me and schedule a time...NO LUCK! I called on Wednesday, April 14th and spoke with Emily and she informed me they would call me today and get it scheduled...nothing yet! I then decided to call e-trailer back and ask for someone in management (after spending 45 minutes on hold) Emily transferred me to Jennifer and I was disconnected. I called Jennifer back (15 times)immediately after I got her call and get the same hold message! I finally spoke with Jennifer Brooks and she ask for the folks I spoke with at the trucking company and I gave her those name with the phone number I called and she said she would check into it and let me know. Apparently this is a company that e-trailer deals with on a regular basis and it didn't seem strange to her that her customer service representative didn't realize that this company did not service my area (residential) areas on those day? RED FLAG! I didn't hear anything from her so after noon the next day, I called her back and she said she sent an email and she was waiting for a response. I informed her from the beginning that I would be going back to work on the following Monday and after that there would be no one home during the day to service the trucking company, and at that point it would cost me to make this happen. After three weeks you would think this could be resolved. It was never our intention to return the hitch, we were really hoping and praying that it would work and be beneficial for our circumstances but unfortunately that wasn't the case! All we are asking is for someone to ensure that what they say actually happens. We are unable to get our money back until they get the hitch back! Nevertheless, our customer service has been completely unsatisfactory!

So, I understand COVID causing delays, however, at this point, I am not sure I will ever order from eTrailer again
So, I understand COVID causing delays, however, at this point, I am not sure I will ever order from eTrailer again. I ordered a new Reese 5th Airborne Sidewinder that said it was in stock on May 6th. I expected delays in shipping. 2-3 weeks after ordering I am told the item is not in stock and they are now waiting on it from the manufacturer. Few more weeks go by. I am growing impatient. Then, 8 weeks later, I was told by them it was received and being packaged and shipped and it would ship Friday. That Monday, no tracking number so I called. I was told that part of the coupler was missing but it would ship Tuesday. Skip to Wednesday, no tracking number. I call back to check the status. The same employee now tells me they have all items, they are packaged and I will have a tracking number within 1 hour as she verified with the warehouse while I was on the phone that it was going out the door today. Wednesday night and Thursday: crickets, no tracking number. Friday, I receive a personalized email that says due to stock issues, it will not ship until the following week. I call because at this point I am pretty annoyed at being lied to the past week. Waiting 2 months was bad enough, but it was the being lied to that got me. I am told they cannot get to the item. The item they packaged. The item they packaged on Friday (week 7), added to on Wednesday(week 8) and didn't ship, and now Friday (week 8) it is somehow so inaccessible that they won't be able to ship it til sometime next week. Mind you, I've been told one more week, one more week, for 2 months. My old hitch was uninstalled in preparation for the item to be delivered this week, and due to the paint that was on the old bolts, I would have to buy new ones to reinstall the old hitch. I also have a reservation for week after next. Success (or is it?). Friday (Week 9) I get both parts finally. I'm excited I can't wait to install it so I go to install it. Put the parts together and place the top cap on to bolt in and NOPE. Bolt holes are off by 1" one direction and 1/4" the other. I immediately call. While on the line I email pictures to show what is wrong and they tell me the manufacturer will review it and send me a replacement piece. I HAD TO HAVE the hitch installed and ready to go Wednesday (week 10). Monday, no update. Tuesday, I call and still no update. I tell them I have to have the hitch and I spoke to a metal shop locally who could make the plate (round piece of steel, hole in it). They said that since I needed it and the manufacturer hasn't responded if I get the piece manufactured locally, they will refund me the cost of the fabrication. Wednesday. No update. Metal shop fabricates piece, I pay, and send the invoice to eTrailer, install part. I get an email at 6pm from eTrailer (7 hours after I sent the invoice) that says the manufacturer is shipping the item and followed by an email saying they will not be covering the fabrication cost and sorry I was told that. UNACCEPTABLE. I am done dealing with eTrailer and recommend anyone else do the same for any item they need.

We purchased and converter for our trailer. We did receive the product. After receiving the product we realized that it was not the converter. I contacted e-trailer on August 17th to get an RMA. They were more than happy to send me a return label to mail the product back. The product was received on August 25th. As of today 9/9/22 they have still not refunded my card. I have called and emailed and was told that it would be refunded to my card by Friday 9/9/22. If my card had not been refunded please call. I called this morning 9/9/22 and now am being told that they are not refunding my card until Wednesday 9/14/22. It does not take this long to refund a persons card. I would like the refund done immediately. I have also called my bank and if they do not do the refund I can do a charge back.
Etrailer.com sent the wrong part to fit my *** and won't exchange it for the correct part. Their "reason"is that it has been more than 60 days since I received the part. I have been unable to try to install it until 6 months after I received the part.
I ordered 5 replacement market lenses for my camper on 18 Sept. I received them on 22 September. I tried to put them on and found out that they were the wrong size. I contacted etrailer for a return. I was told that they would charge me $15.24 in prepaid UPS, plus, they kept saying thay they need to be in "original packaging and not used". They were sent without packaging, in a brown box. These items were only $35. I already paid for shipping when I bought them. Very difficult company. Definitely a buyer beware.
I ordered a hitch receiver from E trailer for my 2018 ram 3500 Mega cab with a 6 and a 1/2 foot bed. I entered this information on their website and ordered my hitch , I took a screenshot of the order for my records. When my hitch arrived I immediately noticed it was not the right one, way too narrow, they sent me a hitch for a cabin chassie which my truck is not. I called them to let them know they had made a mistake so that I could return this hitch and have them send me the correct hitch. They refused, told me that I made the mistake and that they would not be willing to pay for the return shipment. I sent them the screenshot of the original order that had the time and date stamped when I made the original order to prove that all of the information on my end was correct. They still refused they said the best they could do was pay for half of the return shipping. In summary I was forced to pay half for their mistake on the return shipping which is a little over $60 and ended up without the correct hitch. I took my business elsewhere on principle due to the fact that with the screenshot which was my proof, I knew that I did not make a mistake. I know what truck I own I've owned it for 4 years. I will not do business with E trailer ever again as I should not have to pay for their mistakes like I did. If you choose to go with them I warn you be careful, keep proof of your order and hope that they will admit their mistakes. I own several trucks and trailers for my business, their loss...
Nightmare experience
I needed a hitch for my old Subaru. After digging around, I found eTrailer's very helpful videos and decided to purchase my hitch from them.
Using my car's year, make, model and trim, their website pointed me towards the Curt C122703 hitch. This particular hitch was advertised by eTrailer as "no drill" and would take ~40 minutes to install and I ordered the hitch. This is about the only part of my experience that would go smoothly.
A few days later, the hitch arrived. There was no packaging inside the box, and the box had some damage, where the hitch had punched through the box. Needing to tow the next weekend, I decided to install it right away. I'm very mechanically inclined, as I've done all the maintenance on my own cars and motorcycles. I've rebuilt a motorcycle engine and replaced a clutch on a car. So installing a hitch shouldn't very difficult for me. Well, the Curt hitch simply would not fit my car. It was physically impossible for all 4 bolts to fit at the same time. The final hole was 3-4 inches away from where it needed to be. The hitch was bent (damaged from shipping), which contributed to it, but even if the hitch was not bent, it still wouldn't have fit.
I call up eTrailer to see what can be done, and I'm directed to their "technical expert", Wayne. Wayne was very condescending the entire time. I had to take pictures of the issue to send it to him, and even then, he didn't believe what I was telling him. Eventually, he contacted Curt, and Curt told them there are some Subaru's of my year, make and model where the hitch won't fit, and the solution is to drill. So I'm now 5-6 hours deep into a project that should really only take 40 minutes, and I try to install the hitch again, this time, having to drill into my car's frame to get this hitch to fit. Well, even if I line up all 3 bolts, this 4th hole is still at least an inch away from my car's frame (ie, it's about an inch away from making contact with the frame). I decide at this point, I won't drill my car's frame in a random location, as the frame won't fit anyway.
So I tell Wayne this hitch won't fit, it's not worth me compromising the safety of my cargo or the other cars on the road, and I'd like another model hitch to install, such as the Draw-Tite. Wayne says he can accept the return, but cannot do an exchange as the other models will be no different. He also says they will deduct the return shipping costs from my refund once the hitch arrives. Somewhere in all this arguing back forth, 2 weeks have gone by, and I've missed my deadline to tow. So after discussing this point with Wayne for a bit, he offers to split the return shipping as a "one-time courtesy" stating it's not eTrailer's fault it did not fit my car. For reference, return shipping costs would account for 1/3 of the refund.
This wasn't acceptable, as the hitch not fitting is not my fault - I trusted eTrailer's website and advertisement, so I ask Wayne for the full credit. After a week, he doesn't respond, so I call the supervisor, Kim. After some time on the phone, Kim states she can't give me a full shipping credit for a hitch that's been drilled into (ie, if I followed Wayne's instructions) and the half credit is the best she can do. I told her I never drilled into the hitch as I knew it was pointless as the hitch wouldn't have fit anyway. At this point, she agrees to refund the shipping credit as a "one-time courtesy". So basically, if I had followed their tech's instructions, they wouldn't have been able to accept the return.
I ship the hitch back, it arrives, and *one and a halfweeks later, I have a refund in my credit card.
Total time, from order date to refund on my credit card account: 1 month, 7 days.
For comparison, I ended up purchasing a Draw-Tite hitch through u-Haul's website. The hitch came less than a week later, but arrived damaged and scratched up and with no installation hardware. I called u-Haul, and after about 5 minutes on the phone, the representative apologized profusely and without asking, *overnightedme a replacement from the other side of the country & arranged for the old hitch to be picked up the next day. He even followed up the next day with an email to ensure everything went well and if I needed an additional assistance. After the replacement arrived, I installed it in 1 hour, and all the bolt holes lined up perfectly and it was a perfect fit for my car.
Good riddance E-Trailer. I'd recommend anyone in the market for a towing hitch order from companies that value their customers. I'd recommend Amazon or u-Haul. They won't argue with their customers or make you jump through countless hoops to exchange/refund bad hitches

On 03-19-21 I placed an online order with etrailer.com for a Draw-tite Trailer Hitch totaling $276.58
On 03-19-21 I placed an online order with etrailer.com for a Draw-tite Trailer Hitch totaling $276.58. I needed this item for use on 04-01-21. When I placed the order it showed that delivery would be on [protected] day delivery), which would have arrived in plenty of time for its use. On 03-23-21 I checked the status of the order and noticed that it has not even left the warehouse yet so I contacted etrailer.com Customer Service by email asking for an update. On 03-24-21 I received an email response from "George J at etrailer.com" saying that the item has shipped that day and was scheduled for delivery on 03-26-21. On 03-27-21 I received a second email this time from "Dena W. Customer Service Supervisor for etrailer.com" which reiterated that the item shipped on 03-24-21 and was scheduled to be delivered on 03-26-21. I wrote back to Dena W. on 03-27-21 and informed her that the item has not been delivered yet. She responded by telling me to check the perimeter of my house and ask my neighbors if they received the package. On 03-29-21 UPS arrived with the item but the delivery driver asked me to look over the package before I accept it. I was informed that the shipping box was badly damaged and the item was barely still inside it. At that time the delivery driver removed the item from the truck and showed it to me. Two of the four sides of the box were destroyed and the item was partially out of the box. There did not appear to be any additional packaging or protection on the item or inside the box to prevent damage to the item or prevent the box from failing. The delivery driver and I checked over the item in the box and noticed bent steel brackets and multiple areas where the paint was either chipped or scratched off due to lack of protection. I was also unable to verify if any parts were missing because there was no packing slip or directions inside the box. At that time I refused delivery of the item due to damage and possible missing parts. I asked the delivery driver what happens now and he stated that the damaged item will be taken back to their UPS terminal and etrailer.com will be notified and asked what they want to do with the item. He said that it could be weeks before the item is finally returned to etrailer.com's warehouse. The UPS delivery driver loaded the item back onto the truck and marked the delivery as damaged and drove away. Later that day, 03-29-21, I contacted Dena W. and notified her I refused delivery of the item due to damage. We exchanged multiple emails attempting to come to a resolution. I still needed the item and requested a reshipment of a new one at a discounted rate and still needed it by 04-01-21. At first Dena W. was in agreement with a 25% discount and 2 day shipment of a new hitch but later stated that she could not honor that agreement. I finally decided to just take a full refund of $276.58 and order the item from another company. I was informed that the refund would not be processed until 14 days after the damaged item is returned to their warehouse. With the possibility of the item not being returned to etrailer.com for a couple weeks and then a 14 day period once it has arrived that can possibly put my return out a month or longer. I feel that is totally unacceptable.

I ordered a Bak tonneau cover and Thule Truck Rack from E TRailer on Aug 15 because their website said both were in stock and would be delivered by August 22. They billed me for both and I have already paid in full. They shipped the Thule promptly. They sent a tracking notification indicating the Bak was shipped then another message asking for a review of the product. When I questioned this, the tracking then said it would be shipped around September 12. I then contracted them and explained I needed the Bak the week of 20th as promised for a long road trip I was taking and I would be gone starting the first week of September. On August 20th I requested that they just cancel the Bak part of the order and refund my money as I could get the product locally in time for my trip. I contacted them 4 days straight asking for cancellation confirmation and they kept telling me they would check with the manufacturer to see if it could be canceled and notify me when they received a response. 4 days straight they said they are waiting for the manufacturer before they can cancel. This is a stock, off the shelf product, not a special order. I did not order this from the manufacturer, I ordered from etrailer.com Now they will not respond to my messages at all. I made it clear that this order was very time sensitive for me and they seem to be stalling until it is to late for me to get from another source and they will ship the product anyway Meanwhile the Bak TOnneau cover is still listed on their website with a 6 day delivery when they do not have the product. Attached screenshot is from today saying the same product can be delivered by Aug 31, obviously false.
I bought a truck cover for a *** on november 2, 2021. I tried to deal with the problems with cover sliding on it before I made a complaint. *** or Etang maker of truck bed don't want to deal with this, even though they have posted a three year warranty. Etang new they had a problem, but I bought the cover at *** because of the 3 yr warranty posted on the website would appreciate anything you can do. Reason I don't want exchange, I don't want to deal with either company ever again.
Order placed on 7-29-22 for 3 tire/wheel sets. When they arrived the *** large box was open as the box was ridiculously oversized. The tires were marred up from bouncing around on each other. I immediately noticed the rims had metal debris/chunks at the edge of the rim when it meets the hub area. After emailing etrailer and explaining the situation, I was asked what I thought a "fair amount" of a refund would be. I estimated the material cost to have to grind off the very poor manufacturing process and repainting the rims. The chunks were actually poor casting and missed spot welds. So the chunks were painted over from the factory and sent out. The chunks prevented the rims from being able to be installed as they hit the brand new hubs. The debris were also on the face of the rim so even grinding off the chunks from the lip, it would cause the tires to be at an angle. I had to grind and repaint the rims to be able to use them.I also informed etrailer by email that I needed the wheels that weekend which was 2 days away. So a return process was not going to be fast enough. I stated due to having to fix the faulty rims myself I requested an $80 refund out of the $169.45 total I had paid. After 2 weeks had gone by, no refund is showing on our payment method so I email again. That is when etrailer decides they only want to offer a $50 refund, or have me send back the rims I already spent time and money fixing. I requested to have my concerns go to a higher individual at the company to look into this and he refused. I sent them a price of $282.72 to cover the cost of materials/labor of fixing them to send them back, or $80 as I had previously requested. Etrailer waited 2 weeks before telling me to send them back or get a low refund. They knew I needed the wheels and was in a time crunch so I had to fix them. Then they try and have me send them back weeks after fixing them or to take an amount that doesnt even cover the cost of materials to fix them.
Ordered a hardware kit for n RV Vent cover. The day I received the hardware kit, I found out I no longer needed it. I requested a return, and was aware I'd have to pay return shipping, which would be deducted from the amount being credited back to my card. Original shipping charge was $4.99. But the return shipping label provided by E-Trailer says it will cost $15.99. That's 3 times what the original shipping charge was! I have reached out E-Trailer questioning the amount and have had no response back. I have no problem paying a shipping fee, but to charge 3 times more than the original shipping charge is uncalled for, and appears they are either wanting to make money off the shipping, or trying to discourage me from returning this item by inflating the shipping costs! I will pay for shipping, but only at the original price I paid to have it shipped to me the 1st time! They have yet to respond and its been a week! Attached is the screen shot of the original order with shipping price, then the email showing the shipping to be 3 times higher than the original shipping costs
I'm very frustrated with the shipping policies of this company. I contacted UPS about redirecting a package from etrailer. UPS told me that there are restrictions on the package. These restrictions prevent UPS from redirecting the package, and the I would need to contact etrailer to have them lifted. I spoke to a customer service representative at etrailer, as well as a supervisor, explaining the urgency of needing to redirect this package. They would not work with me to contact UPS and lift the delivery restrictions. They refused to help saying it was to prevent fraud. Ironically, my request was to have the package delivered to a UPS facility where I would have to prove my identity anyways to receive my package. The lack of help made no sense, and eTrailer was 100% uncooperative. I'm taking a potential $700 loss because of their to work with me. The tow bar is being shipped to an unsafe, sketchy location that I will be at. I won't be able to retrieve this package unless it's redirected.
Purchased a *** trailer from Etrailer. When the trailer was assembled I realized there was no VIN or other identifying marks in the trailer. When I contacted Etrailer they insisted multiple times that I was wrong. When I further proved that I was correct, their solution was for me to disassemble the trailer and return it in boxes. Beyond the ridiculous of that suggestion, at no point did I feel like their customer service intended to help me. They sold me something I cannot use and their solution is absurd. They do not have a plan for their failure.
Called etrailer to order parts for my Jayco Jay Flight 264 RV trailer. I needed hubs for all 4 wheels ***. I provided the part number supplied by the dealer without knowing that part number implies different sizes. Etrailer associate assumed I needed a certain size and said they have the items in stock and shipped them out. Upon receiving the items and delivering to shop to install, we determined these items are the incorrect size. I contacted Etrailer to return the items however they are asking me to cover the return shipping costs ($207.67). Etrailer states the following upon my inquiry: “ I understand what your saying about not knowing about the part however if a customer calls requesting a part number like you did without other information, we assume you know what your after and since we don't carry 5 on 4 1/4 which isn't a normal measurement these days most folks wouldn't have given it a second thought and we never want to make a customer feel like they don't know what they are after. It is the customers responsibility to let us know what they are needing in that you have to know your measurements as we have no way of knowing information nor that you had an obscure size need. ” I believe this Etrailer has mislead me into believing they have the right parts, did not act in my best interests, did not act professionally about my order and did not ask any questions about sizing I needed, while knowing there are multiple sizes for that particular part number. I am in process of returning these items but I am looking for Etrailer to fully refund the return shipping costs as I should not be responsible for Etrailer’s incompetence.
I ordered a few items to repair some tire chains. Items were in stock and I needed them expedited. I payed quite a bit of money for the items to be shipped 2 day shipping. A week after they were supposed to arrive I requested that etrailer provide an update as their tracking link does not actually give anything that can be used to find the package via *** tracking or customer service. I was told that they would open an investigation that would take another 10 businesses days. "Hopefully they will find them and either deliver or return them" at that point they would refund or reship the items. Nothing I can do other then purchase again at full price with expedited shipping and "hope" that they would be returned so I could be refunded for the second charge.
Happi Jack tie downs
RE order# [protected]
After spending well over $400 for my tie downs that I was told would be here by Oct 26, I found only half the order arrived and damaged and the half has been sitting at the warehouse with the shipping label printed for the last 2 days. When I said this was unacceptable I was told that would have to pay for return shipping. Really? That's the last time I EVER use Etrailer. Lying incompetents!

Sent wrong ac unit for my class a coach
This is about Etrailer about my order and how disappointed I am in Etrailer and how things went. I gave you all the information on the label on this AC unit in order to make sure I was sent the right AC unit to fit my 2014 Berkshire 390FL Class A coach. I was told it would fit. When it arrived, I didn’t think it “looked” like it would fit so I called back to Etrailer and spoke to Rachal, gave her all the SAME information, and SHE SAID it would fit. Had a tech with 30 yrs experience come put it on, or try as it turns out. WOULD NOT FIT, wiring and such was NOT COMPATIBLE. He looked at every alternative. NOTHING would work. Charged me $150.00 service call, and $150.00 an hour to TRY to make it work. $600 later, still no working AC. I CALLED AGAIN, and spoke to a guy, and after giving HIM all the SAME information, said it fits. I told him, NO it wont and why it would not fit. He said, IT IS WHAT IT IS……HUH? Then tells me I will be charged 117 dollars to send it back, even though it was NOT my fault I was sent an item that didn’t fit after giving in detail all the information needed to make sure the unit DID fit the Class A. I expressed my disappointment at being charged for YOUR (company) sending out wrong unit. I am reporting this to the proper Supervisors at Etrailer. I should not be charged for shipping when it was not my fault I was sent the wrong unit. The unit was returned on 07/10/23 and signed for by Rebecca. I would like to ask if the credit has been applied to the card used yet?
This is not good business. I will find another source for future purchases.

Desired outcome: REFUND my $177.00 and change for having to ship it back to them due to THEIR error, not mine.
Tow lighting kit for 2020 chevy equinox
On March 11th I ordered a base plate and lighting kit. I asked which one would be best and said okay for recommendation. [protected] order phone number.
The lighting kit that was sent was standard and should have been with smart diode. I had no idea. In the shipping carton there was also another part, I forget what it was but I returned it. Now I wonder if the shipment got mixed up? I have a 2020
Chevy Equinox and Roadmaster said I should have been sent a smart diode. I am now out 90.00 for replacement diodes and the cost to have some one install them
I discovered the problem when my right turn signal gave an error message and though it kept blinking it would still work but faster. Lately, when it rains, the light stops completely and starts again seemingly when it dries out.
I depended on your reputation to recommend the correct part for my vehicle and you let me down. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.

Customer service is crap
I made several purchases from this website since buying my RV. In general, I was happy with my purchasing experiences. Until something went wrong.
In November of 2022, I ordered a "Bolt Hitch Coupler Lock" that supposedly work with Ford Truck keys and I had a new Ford Truck. The "does it fit my vehicle" button was inconclusive ("fit not confirmed") so I figured my truck was too new for someone to have verified it worked with a 2022 truck. There was nothing on the website about issues with certain types of keys and all reviews were positive.
When I got the package it clearly said on the outside "side cut keys only" and had a QR code to check your truck. I could see neither the packaging nor the QR code online. When I tried to return it they wanted to charge me $30 to return a $65 item.
I complained and they would not budge on the return fee.
I would never purchase again from this site. There is always a chance a purchase will not work out and the inability to return an item is a HUGE red flag when dealing with an online company.
Desired outcome: I would like them to accept a return at their expense since the problem was their website description was not complete. Even if not the case, a responsible online retailer would take returns for a much more reasonable fee.
Refund
1st of all I order a part they sent it to me and it is the wrong part for my car so they tell me to send it back with the shipping labels they sent me I did it has been in their warehouse over 5 I call they say that I will get my refund have not seen it yet . They get their money up front but when it comes to getting your money back they don't want to do it. I would never order anything else from this company if you don't want to lose your money.
Rhino roof racks
I'm here to attest to, unless you want your anxiety or temper to skyrocket stay away from this company. They were terrible to deal and communicate with after the purchase. At first glance when talking to the sales representative-Adam-conversation was light and pleasant due to the used car salesman theory of hoping to get a sale. Fast forward to post receiving the $500+ roof rack. After installation they made a constant grating high pitch sound so I called etrailer and was basically told sorry about your luck and the item was not returnable. Not a good answer so I persued further with Adam who sold the item to me. He reassured me they would send a paid return label and I would get a refund. After several emails and over a week later still no return label. Crickets from etrailer and Adam. Seriously lame. Thanks for a terrible product and a terrible experience. I hope others take this review to heart!
Desired outcome: I asked for a full refund. Was told no refunds, then yes we will send you a return label and then NOTHING. No followup and are now not responding.
Its been 8 days now,and still have 2 bolts that were not in undamaged box for Kodiak brake system.
Purchased a complete brake system and no help from e-trailer or their supplier Kodiak brakes --- Rockwell ccompany. My customer has missed 2 weekends @ the lake with his new to him 10000.00 Boat. He had a accident because his brakes were bad and will not pull it to the lake now. Left me dealing with a MAD Customer. I was told by Adelia @ E-Trailer I would have the bolts by June 24 th. I would purchased them from Ebay if I knew this last week. What a JERK AROUND and Kodiak shipped them on June 23 and has no clue how they shipped them or the tracking number ! Just it went Fed-X ! What the Hell?
Desired outcome: My money back!
Tow Mirrors for 2010 Chevy Tahoe LTZ
Worked with customer service about the mirrors I had purchased. I could only see side to side, but I was looking for a mirror that I would increase my height (top to bottom) visibility. Samantha E. was very helpful in helping me find the correct mirror.
However when I returned the first order I was only expecting to have $15.34 deducted for shipping. They actually deducted almost 50%. Out of a $66.33 order I received $33.89 back to me.
I will take my business somewhere else with refund policies like this. Watch out if you have to return ANYTHING to these people.

incorrect order
i called the customer service told them i had a car trailer, then asked them for correct measurement for rim bolt pattern they stated to measure from the first to the 3rd bolt so i did and was 4-3/4 so she ordered the rims and were delivered and were wrong . i called right away and told them what was up . in the meantime i looked at their website and it stated that need to measure from outside of first stud to the center of the third one , so i did it was 5 inches , i told them this and they said it was wrong and the sent out the same rims , called them again and they said the American made trailer was metric studs and said they don't have the rims went down to trailer supply locally and they had in stock it was 5on 5 rim like i stated burned up 3 and 1/2 weeks of non use and i even talked to a supervisor and she said she would fix it and never heard from her again will not be using then Ever again
Reading these reviews was rather shocking to me. It is as if they are written about a completely different company. I have ordered from eTrailer multiple times and the quality of their products and customer support have been nothing short of excellent. It's not often in this day and age when you can call customer support and talk to a human that communicates well and understands their products. When selling products to fit vehicles of multiple makes, years and manufacturers, it is only reality that there will be problems. I have found their installation videos to be generally excellent, and their customer support (when something does go wrong) to be amazing.
False advertising -high shipping costs on return plus other costs.
I purchased a safety strobe light for $124.00. Once installed the light only illuminates the bottom half of the overall hight of the strobe.
I was given the okay to return, however, the shipping was $30.00 and there "could be" other costs involved to subract from my "credit".
Notice the advertising shows the light illuminates to the top.
Shipping and customer service
If it is important, go somewhere else
If it is important, go somewhere else. Customer Service will not accept responsibility, they will not meet their promises, they will not ship and then say you are too stupid to understand.
I ordered parts. I needed them by date certain. The website said "IN STOCK". I placed the order and paid for shipping to arrive FRIDAY because I need it on Saturday.
Four days later (Thursday, the day before it is supposed to arrive) I get an email, good news, your order will ship on Monday (now it is not shipping until 3 days after it was supposed to arrive.) I called and customer service said "we just got it, they are unloading the truck now. So, I asked why the system said "In stock", CS says well, it is in stock.
I am exasperated, "No, it is on a truck, but your site said in stock several days ago, it lied." CS had the audacity to say "our system did not lie, you do not understand . . . " Never mind the rest of the ignorance spouted by this guy.
When I asked what could be done, they did not offer to refund shipping, they did not offer to express, they did not offer to fix. Only suggestion is "I can mark this priority so they process your order and try to get it out first thing Monday." So, "IN STOCK" and "your order will arrive on ________" mean nothing. Just hand over your money, do not bother to find a reliable purveyor, just trust us!
IF YOU NEED PARTS, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! THIS COMPANY CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
Desired outcome: I just want what I am promised and what I pay for.
I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from e-trailer. My comments echo k803r48 of Plano's comments (11/4/21) regarding shipping. I also ordered parts which were "in stock" and said to be shipped in three days. Over one week later, with several changes in shipping, I finally cancelled my order. The last change had the shipping date two weeks later than originally stated. Again, this is for items that were in stock.
I contacted e-trailer (Rory) who was very apologetic and was told they were experiencing delays in shipping. I suggested e-trailer update their shipping info on their website because, according to the website, if I ordered the same items again, they would be delivered before my original order shipped. Rory gave me a new shipping date and said an IT ticket would be created to fix the discrepancy on the website. Since our conversation, my shipping date has changed two more times and it is now two weeks from when I placed the original order. VERY POOR customer service.
Refund for returned trailer kit
Order #[protected] MPG461B2 trailer kit received 6 packages (Trailer frame, wheels and lights) but no assembly kits or coupling assembly. Waited a week with no resolution therefore canceling order due to lack of response and resolution. Put up with another 3 weeks waiting for UPS return labels and UPS pickup that finally occurred on Friday, April 9th. The 6 packages were delivered and received by Malone Mfg. on Monday, April19th between 9:00 and 9:05 AM.
As of today, May 28th, my credit card account still has not been credited/refunded the invoiced price originally charged to my account. I've waited over six weeks for this refund and I need the credit now! I left a voice mail message for Sarah H at 636.887.9322 on Tuesday and still have not heard back from anyone at eTrailer.
Desired outcome: Immediately post the refund/credit to my AE credit card.
Failing to deliver product, shipping date keep being pushed back
Joe covello tracking # [protected]. It ridicules to be told of a delivery date and here it is almost a month later and no order yet please respond
Inability to sell a hitch
I wasted time with their poorly conceived online form. After several attempts requiring nearly an hour. I had a receipt.
The next day "sorry we cant ship to your address". Funny the rest if the world seems fully capable to ship to small town America.
I returned all of the information required and received a followup email "sorry start over". As if, I would waste another hour for $200 worth of merchadise. I am out more than that with my first effort
Time to favor the over seas competition with better products and competent service.
Maga really? When was it ever great?
rv replacement light fixtures
We ordered several wall mounted lights. They were shipped with no mounting screws or hardware, something the manufacturers send with them. No lamps. no paperwork, just 3 fixtures thrown in a box. The "customer service person"{ and I use that term loosely}, says we ship them without mounting hardware because if you are replacing a light you should have the old ones available. THE NEW ONES ARE NOT THE SAME COLOR. And we ship them without lamps because you should have the old lamps for them. oh yea the lamps are different.
When we called they want to charge additional 12 dollars to return them. And then they have the balls to advertise 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. Worst customer service I have seen. Will NOT do business with this company again. Would advise anyone to find another company.
Be careful
If I was a CEO of this company I would be ashamed that my customer service is such a crap.
When you order, please, be very careful and check the entered information twice. There will be no opportunity to change it. I made a mistake in spelling, ordered and noticed it after confirmation. In fact, other websites have no problem with correcting mistypes, but this one doesn't give a crap about it. They simply say: no, and keep doing their stuff.
So it means you will have further problems when receiving or they will send it to the wrong address
