Good company
Good company. Nice people and very easy to work with. Communication is Key and they have it!

Unexpected enrollment in a program post-COVID 19 vaccination
Me and my 3 kids were somehow enrolled in a program after registering and getting our COVID 19 shots at a local clinic. We registered online at Walmart.com. The cards we received were all invalid, and I'm concerned they obtained all of our information. When I checked the cards on the Target website, they didn't work.
*********** is a Godsent
is a Godsent...No jokes...A first browse through on the website and your brain signals start getting the best of you...Cos the platform sounds ***. I think they are able to pull all that off cos they are a nanotech company. And that's why I eventually applied to their Job Portal.I must confess I fidgeted at first, turns out all the strenuous questions were to filter out the unserious job applicants and brothers of the underworld.Suffice to say, I got a good paying Gig since last year January and it's been mwahhhh...Sweet is an understatement...
Shocked to see all these problems people had with Etsy
Shocked to see all these problems people had with Etsy. This has not been my experience. We have ordered only few times but everything went as expected. This last experience was exceptional. I ordered a custom wall hanging for our 50th Anniversary. About a week later, a representative contacted me and asked if I knew a person who had ordered the same item with virtually the same customized items on it. It turned out to be our daughter who was ordering the same item as our gift. Upon being told this, I asked if I could cancel. Without hestitation, they not only cancelled my order, but refunded my credit card the same day. You cannot complain about this kind of service. And, my the way, the wall hanging was beutiful and will be treasured my both of us.
I have used Etsy for years
I have used Etsy for years. However, my account was recently hacked, with someone changing my password and enabling two factor authentication, completely locking me out of my account. In addition, fraudulent charges were made with my card that was on file. I have emailed Etsy probably 25 times, called Etsy 3 times (waiting on hold at least one hour each time). When I did speak with a human, they tell me that they cant help me with my account, and to email Etsy. Its been 4 weeks now with still no response from Etsy. I have never experienced such horrible customer service, and I vow never to use *** again. Its unfortunate because I liked supporting individual artisans, and it is not their fault that Etsy is run so poorly. Etsy is literally The Worst!
Etsy, the worst company
Etsy closed our store without notice, we appealed the decision 21 days ago and we are still waiting for an explanation. This is the worst company to work with, do not use them as a sales platform for your store. The charges are very expensive and there is no customer service at all, not even a phone number to contact them. In addition, they can close your store at any time with no explanation. And there is nothing that you can do to re-open it.
Recommendation: Don't use etsy like e-commerce platform.
Do not use etsy. Not trustworthy. Terrible. Many scams and nothing done about it.
Etsy is not trustworthy. Sellers on etsy can not be trusted to deliver their product. Lots of scams. Lots of bogus and phony tracking numbers. Customer never receives their purchased item, even though they paid for it.
Etsy does nothing to correct these scammers. In fact, it's almost impossible to actually file a complaint with etsy.
I will never use etsy again.
I would give etsy "0" stars, but they don't accept that. Customer has to give at least '1" star in order to send a review. But etsy does not deserve even one star.
Recommendation: DO NOT TRUST ETSY. LOTS OF SCAMMERS SELL ON ETSY.
Terrible
Bought a pair of shoes from LetsPLAIboutique a seller on Etsy they were the wrong size and the quality was awful the invoice said returns accepted within 14days of delivery so I asked the seller for refund they said exchange only they said they would send another size once I sent them back so I sent them back recorded delivery and they confirmed receipt of them and they've ignored me ever since no exchange or refund so they have basically just stole my money I definitely would not buy from this seller or Ecty as there is no buyer protection in place whatsoever.
Disastrous Experience with Etsy Seller: Sara Sims, Vintage Opulence
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Etsy. I ordered 5 dresses from Sara Sims, Vintage Opulence for my wedding, and let me tell you, it was a disaster. I mean, I based each design off of dresses that she had previously made, with some changes in color and length, and I sent her detailed measurements, heights of wedding party, and colors and styles they wanted. But she just couldn't seem to follow directions. I had to have her re-dye and change 4 of the dresses, and even then, only one dress was what I asked for. And it still looked a bit plainer than her original design.
But that's not even the worst part. She sent the 5 dresses stuffed into a box the size of a phone book. The dresses were so wrinkled, and I had to pay $9.00 in additional postage. And they didn't even look like the dress designs she had posted! The green was way darker than the example I sent her, the burgundy was lighter than her design, and all of them were the incorrect length. I mean, I ordered a Tiel Green size 4, and I received a dark green size 10. And the wedding dress size 14 was a complete disaster. The underlining of the dress was all messed up, and one side of the skirt went up under the overlaying lace while the other side hung way down, making the dress look like a drunk cupcake.
I tried to communicate with her about all the issues, but she took no responsibility for her terrible work or making the dresses the wrong sizes. I sent her pictures of all the holes and crooked lace, etc. I even sent two dresses back before the wedding, and had to buy 3 new dresses plus buy a new under dress to wear under the wedding dress she made, after I took out all the lining and skirt. And the worst part is, she does not care that she is a bad seamstress and takes no responsibility and no refunds.
I asked her for a 50% refund, which I thought was rather generous, but I haven't heard from her since August 5th. My last communication with her was on August 18th when I let her know I sent her 2 dresses back and wanted a 50% refund or my husband would contact his credit card company and ask for a full refund. And let me tell you, my husband went online to find complaints, and they were very hard to find, but they were there and were comparable to mine.
I mean, I chose her because I like her designs and that she takes old lace and slips, etc., to make new dresses. But the problem is she does not know how to sew. She tacks her dresses together so they look beautiful online, but in real life, they look like a drunk made them. And she's messing with people's special occasions, and that is not okay. Everything about my wedding worked out wonderfully except her and the dresses.
Disappointing Experience with Etsy Seller: Poor Communication and Delayed Shipping
I just had a really bad experience with an Etsy seller. I've been shopping on Etsy for years and have had some really great experiences with sellers, but this one was a nightmare. I ordered two necklaces and a pair of earrings on August 22, 2016. They were all ready-made items, so it should have been a quick and easy order to fill and ship. However, the seller said it would take 5 to 10 days to fill orders, and then there was shipping time on top of that. I live only a few hours away from the seller, so I expected shipping to be quick, but it wasn't.
Trying to communicate with the seller was frustrating. She only replied with unhelpful robotic responses, and when I did get a shipping confirmation, the tracking info said that a label had been created but no item had been shipped. I tried to find out what was going on, but the seller didn't have any answers. She said she would look into it with the postal service and reship the items I had ordered, but I still haven't received anything.
Today, I got a message from the seller saying that I would be getting a refund because she doesn't have the earrings I paid for. I'm really disappointed in this whole experience. I'm not sure if the seller is under-stocked on listed items or just disorganized and has poor communication skills. Either way, it's not about the sale, it's about the customer. If the seller had offered me the items that were ready and explained the delay on the beaded necklace, I would have been okay waiting for it. If she had offered to send the necklaces and explained that she was out of earrings, she could have kept the sale and maybe even gained a loyal customer.
I will be more careful when shopping on Etsy in the future, and I would advise others to do the same. It's a shame that one bad experience can ruin the reputation of a whole platform, but that's just the way it is. Etsy should consider offering some business education to sellers with less experience so that shoppers can have a smoother experience across the platform.
Update: I just looked at the email from the seller again, and it looks like I will be getting the two necklaces but not the earrings. I should be getting a refund for those. However, everything the seller has said about shipping has been inaccurate and dodgy. Even if I do get the necklaces, I'm not sure I'll be comfortable wearing them. If I don't like them, I won't bother returning them because I've had enough of this drama. Good luck if you choose to shop with this seller.
Etsy's Dishonesty and Lack of Customer Protection: My Frustrating Experience with a Cheating Seller and Unhelpful Support Team
I recently had a terrible experience with Etsy and their customer support team. I called them up to report a seller who had cheated me and violated Etsy's seller rules. The customer support rep I spoke with encouraged me to file a case against the seller on a specific date, which was displayed on my order page as a clickable link. I trusted the rep and waited for that date to arrive, but when it did, the link had disappeared from my purchase page. I was unable to file a case against the seller or leave a review.
I later found out that I could still leave a review by using the link on my invoice, but the fact that Etsy had removed the link from my purchase page was extremely frustrating. It felt like they were protecting the seller instead of helping the customer who had been cheated. The customer service rep had even agreed with me that the seller was cheating the system, but Etsy still chose to side with the seller.
To make matters worse, I received a harassing message from the seller, Shaynegreco, accusing me of being a scam artist and a skilled manipulator. This was completely untrue and unwarranted, and I felt violated and threatened by the seller's behavior. I contacted Etsy customer support again to report the harassment, but the representative I spoke with was unhelpful and hung up on me.
I later spoke with a supervisor who repeated the same script as the first rep, telling me that the issue had to be escalated to management. I was left feeling frustrated and helpless, with no resolution in sight.
It's disappointing to see a publicly traded company like Etsy operate so dishonestly and without ethics. I feel sick having had any contact with people who are so clearly unbalanced, and I no longer feel safe using Etsy as a platform for buying and selling. I urge others to be cautious when using Etsy and to be aware of the lack of protection they offer to their customers.
Warning: Shady Business on Etsy - Buffalo Shirt Company Review
Watch out, folks! There's a shady business on Etsy called Buffalo Shirt Company, run by a couple of sneaky folks named Jill Snow-Ford and Trent Ford. They used to go by Oliver and Olivia Apparel, but they filed for bankruptcy in March 2021. And now they're back under a new name, but with the same old tricks.
I've been with this company for a few years, and I'm here to tell you that Jill and Trent are not to be trusted. On March 2nd, at 9PM, Jill sent a text to her team of 35+ employees, telling us that we were all out of jobs with no warning. And now we're not even sure if we'll get our final paychecks for the last two weeks of work. Jill has a history of lying and deceit, and her financial mismanagement is what caused the company to go under in the first place.
But that's not all. Leading up to this, Jill has been listing products on Etsy, Amazon, and Jane that she knew we couldn't deliver on. Even if we did have the items in stock, she advertised production times that were much shorter than what we could actually do. And then, a few days after she let us all go, she and Trent rebranded Oliver and Olivia Apparel on Jane to Printed Tees Shirt Company. Jane has since closed the shop, but you can still see it if you follow the link below.
It's all a big scam, really. You'll see a Christmas stocking on Amazon that says "2-day shipping," but in reality, you won't get it for at least 90 days. And then our shop prints the shipping label without even having the item ready, making it ineligible for a refund and allowing Jill to blame the mail carriers. It's not just bad bookkeeping or a holiday rush - Jill has been intentionally deceitful for a long time.
There's so much more to this story, but I'll let others share their experiences in the comments. The only reason any of us stuck around was because of the team we worked with. At the time of operations closing, we were still trying to catch up on pre-Christmas orders because Jill refused to take the listings down in November, even though we were already at production capacity. And all the while, she was spending company money on frivolous things and buying herself a million-dollar estate.
Jill has used her managers as scapegoats for her own poor decisions, thrown tantrums in front of the entire team, and threatened to fire staff if they didn't come in for overtime during Christmas weekend. She's not fit to run a business, and now several of us are in contact with the labor commission because we're afraid we won't get paid. It's a real struggle to find new jobs or file for unemployment, and hundreds, maybe thousands, of customers will never receive the items they paid for or see refunds from Oliver and Olivia Apparel.
So, be sure to share this review with your friends and family. We don't want anyone else to fall victim to this untrustworthy company. And if you want to see for yourself, here are some links to their old and new Etsy shops, their Amazon shop, a news report, and a Reddit post.

Beware of MaljiArts: A cautionary tale of a $900 Etsy scam
I recently had a terrible experience with an Etsy seller named MaljiArts. I want to share my story so that others can avoid the same fate. My partner and I ordered a customized sandalwood carving from MaljiArts for $900, with a $500 deposit and the remaining $400 due before shipping. MaljiArts promised to complete the order in 25 days, but they never took our order seriously.
For two months, we had to work hard to teach MaljiArts how to correct their mistakes and bring our design to life. However, on September 30th, MaljiArts suddenly stopped responding to our messages. We reported the issue to Etsy Chat staff, but it took a while to get a response. Eventually, an Etsy support staff member contacted MaljiArts, who suddenly messaged us to ask a question about the design. The Etsy staff advised us to keep communicating with MaljiArts, so we asked them to set up a proper selling listing for us to pay the remaining balance and ship the item.
However, on October 7th, MaljiArts suddenly "closed" our order and told us and the Etsy support staff that they wouldn't sell the item and would refund our $500 deposit. We followed MaljiArts' instructions to request the refund via PayPal, but they canceled our request and gave us a different PayPal email account. When we used the new account to send the refund request again, MaljiArts still didn't pay the money.
To make matters worse, we discovered that MaljiArts had made a listing to sell the near-completed order of our design. They had stolen our design and even used our explanation as their Etsy listing description. We reported this to Etsy, but MaljiArts continued to play games with PayPal and refused to pay the refund.
We are shocked that this kind of scam can happen on Etsy's platform with their support. We paid MaljiArts $500 and worked hard for two months, only for them to steal our original design work. Etsy offered us a $50 gift card as a solution, but we refused it and demanded a full refund of $500. PayPal informed us that MaljiArts had made a partial refund offer of $50, but we rejected it and are still waiting for our full refund.
I hope that others can learn from our experience and avoid doing business with MaljiArts or any other unscrupulous sellers on Etsy. It's important to be careful when buying online and to report any suspicious activity to the platform's support team.
Etsy Suspended My Account for No Reason: A Frustrating Experience
I've been selling stuff online for a while now, and I thought about trying Etsy a few years back, but I didn't. But a couple of weeks ago, I finally decided to give it a go and create a successful Etsy shop. Etsy is supposed to be for handmade goods, and I get that. But I listed items that were made with production assistance, but they were MY original designs, not copied from someone else, and I was including the proper disclosures in my listings!
So I signed up and went though the whole process, entering and verifying various details, thinking of a name for my store, designing a profile photo, and of course posting my first few listings (I only posted 3). This process took me a couple of hours, the better part of an afternoon. I became quite excited at the idea of selling on Etsy.
Suddenly, the excited feeling faded and then blossomed into panic when I saw a red banner at the bottom of my computer screen saying that my account had been suspended. I was shocked, after less than a day of being open, my store is suddenly closed? For what reason? I quickly checked my account for any signs or notifications about the suspension, scanned my email inbox and spam, there was no communication from Etsy at all. I thought, this had to be a mistake, and surely they'd fix it.
I thought, surely this is just some bot or algorithm they use that mistakenly suspended my account, and that they'd likely fix the problem. So, I waited to see if I received any communication from Etsy about the sudden suspension of my account. I never received anything from Etsy, yet my account remained suspended.
Etsy provided me with ZERO reason for this suspension, and definitely not any way to fix it. I nervously skimmed the help center to find a phone number or chat function to speak to someone about my account, that's when I found out that Etsy only uses email to communicate with those who need help with their website. That was very aggravating, not being able to actually talk to someone about my issue.
The only option I had was to email them and attempt to appeal the suspension, so that's what I did. I graciously asked for an explanation and a resolution for my suspension. I waited around a day and a half for their first response to my initial inquiry. Much to my dismay, the email I received was just an automated, generic response stating that they were going to do an "in-depth" review of my account and it could take up to 7 days to complete. I was very unhappy at this point, and I thought surely it won't take that long to review my brand new account with hardly any activity on it.
While it didn't take them a full 7 days to eventually get back to me, it was close. The next email I received was another automated, generic email stating that my account had been permanently suspended. The email didn't give specific reasons, but gave around 8-10 vague reasons that MAY have caused the permanent suspension. I read all of their policies in their entirety, so I'm aware of how my shop and listings measure up. Nothing that I did warranted a suspension. It also stated that I am no longer able to sell or buy on Etsy ever again, and any other account I create on Etsy will be terminated.
The cherry on top, they would have put a 180 day hold on the funds in my account, if I had any funds, which thankfully I didn't, as I hadn't made any sales. I can't imagine how awful it is for people who do have money tied up in an Etsy account for 180 days after getting suspended for no reason.
Even if I had committed some minor infraction, I believe an automatic permanent suspension is a bit drastic and unfair. They say we can appeal the decision, but truthfully, we're just fed the same auto emails without someone actually looking into and resolving our problem, or at least giving us a chance to fix whatever we did wrong.
So, that's my experience. My account that was only a few hours old gets suspended, Etsy gives no reason, no way to speak to someone to get it resolved, and just sends copy paste emails over and over again. Yes, I'm still receiving those same emails telling me I'm permanently suspended, repeatedly, and I have no idea why they keep sending them. I guess they just enjoy rubbing it in. My advice: run far away from Etsy, whether you're planning to buy or sell. They're just another corporate business out for themselves, they don't care about the people whole make them money.
The Dark Side of Selling on Etsy: Problems with Customer Support, Political Alignments, and More
Selling on Etsy can be a real challenge, and as someone who has been selling on the platform for many years, I have experienced a number of issues that have made me question whether it is really worth it. While some sellers may have had a positive experience, I have found that there are a number of problems with Etsy that can make it bad for your business, finances, and even your mental health.
One of the biggest issues I have encountered is the fact that Etsy seems to be very quick to shut down new shops. This can be incredibly disheartening, especially if you are new to the platform and don't know the process. It can be alarming to see your shop suspended, and it can make you not even want to bother with Etsy. I have learned that this is often due to the bots that Etsy uses, which can be triggered by things like listing too many items at once. However, Etsy does not make it clear how many listings you can list from a new shop, and they often suspend shops without warning. It would be much better if they simply put the shop on vacation with a message that they are verifying your account, rather than suspending it completely.
Another issue I have encountered is the fact that Etsy's customer support can be very slow and unhelpful. Half the time, I don't even know if I am speaking to a real person or a bot. I have received responses from "support" that have one name at the top of the message and a completely different name at the end of the message, with a generic response. If you want a human response, you often have to respond to the bot multiple times, which can be a lengthy process as it's not a chat bot, but an email bot.
Another issue I have with Etsy is their political alignments. As a moderate liberal myself, I find it strange that a company like Etsy would pick and choose which networks to advertise on. If they are going to advertise on a new network, they should advertise on them all, especially the ones that get high ratings, in order to attract a bigger audience. I personally don't care what their political views are, a customer is a customer, and most sellers are more interested in sales than who they vote for.
Etsy has also banned store owners from minority countries from opening an Etsy shop. This is disappointing, as it goes against the idea of equality. A few years ago, Etsy stopped accepting sellers from pretty much all the minority countries in the world, only allowing first world countries (with the exception of India) to sell on Etsy. This seems pretty biased to me, especially when compared to other platforms like Amazon, which accepts sellers from pretty much any country as long as they meet their requirements.
One of the biggest issues with Etsy is that they offer no protection for sellers. Sometimes Etsy sellers get abusive messages from buyers, and there is absolutely no way to block them or to block them from buying from you. Marking the message as spam doesn't actually report the message, and if you report a buyer for being abusive, that will more than likely cause Etsy trust and safety to review your shop and look for a way to suspend it.
Another issue I have with Etsy is the number of knock-offs from AliExpress that are being sold on the platform. I have seen so many shops selling generic products on Etsy that are definitely not handmade, and the images are often taken from Amazon and AliExpress. I report these shops, but nothing seems to happen. This makes it difficult for genuine handmade sellers to compete, and it goes against what Etsy was originally meant to be about.
Finally, I feel that Etsy purposely complicates fees. When I make a sale, there are at least four separate fees connected to that sale, which can be confusing and frustrating. It would be much simpler if they just charged a set fee like Amazon, which is a percentage of the sale.
Overall, while Etsy started as a handmade community, it has become more corporate and less focused on its original values. It can be difficult to get a human response from customer support, and the site is full of mass-produced knock-offs. Etsy also treats sellers poorly, and there is no protection for them. While it may be tempting to put your future in Etsy, I would advise against it. Instead, look to having your own website and getting organic customers that way. There are horror stories of sellers having shops for 10+ years on Etsy and waking up to find them suspended with no reason why. Don't let this happen to you.
Etsy Review: A Safe and Supportive Marketplace for Buyers and Sellers
Etsy is the best! I can't say enough good things about it. I've been both a buyer and a seller on the site for 15 years now, and I've seen it grow and improve so much over that time.
I have three storefronts on Etsy right now, and I love how easy it is to use. The site design is attractive but not overwhelming, and it's so easy to browse and "favorite" items without feeling pressured to buy. I've never seen another retail site that does this as well as Etsy.
As a seller, I've had great success with my handmade, up-cycled furniture art. On other sites, I felt like I had to hide what I was selling, but on Etsy, I'm encouraged to be creative and unique. I've also set up storefronts for my mother's vintage collections and my own vintage toys and ephemera, and they've all been successful.
What I love most about Etsy is the support. I had a terrible experience with eBay years ago, and I've never looked back. Etsy's support team is well-trained and fair, and they've always been there for me when I've had a problem. I had one issue as a buyer that was quickly resolved, and one claim as a seller that was also resolved quickly and fairly.
Etsy's payment system is also great. They offer a variety of payment methods, including their own credit card system, which has made a huge difference in my sales. And the costs are so much lower than other sites like eBay or Amazon.
Overall, I feel safe and supported on Etsy. It's a great site for both buyers and sellers, and I highly recommend it.
Etsy: A Disappointing Marketplace for Buyers and Sellers
Etsy used to be a great marketplace for handmade and custom items, but now it's just a mess. As a buyer, it's hard to find unique items because the site is flooded with mass-produced junk from China. And to make matters worse, there are inappropriate items involving children that should be in a private, adult-only category. It's disgusting and disturbing that Etsy allows this kind of merchandise on their site.
As a seller, I used to love Etsy and sold my own handmade goods there. But now, it's a nightmare. Etsy has little to no protection for sellers from bad buyers and scammers. They also randomly shut down legitimate shops, keeping the funds and destroying years of hard work and money. It's sad to see that Etsy claims to support women-owned and black-owned businesses, but they target these exact same demographics for deletion. They're hypocrites who only care about promoting their company and painting a pretty picture.
The new seller review standard is ridiculous, and the fees are outrageous. Etsy charges multiple expensive fees for items that just sit there, and they take your money and run. They even force sellers to participate in their ad program, which costs them money and perpetuates a Communist's dream. It's impossible to profit, and sellers are punished for reaching successful levels.
Etsy is a dumpster fire, and it's only getting worse. My advice is to abandon Etsy and start a small brick and mortar business or use another platform. It can't be worse than what Etsy has become.
Buyer Beware: My Negative Experience with Magic Tribal Hair on Etsy
ERENCE IN TEXTURE CAN MAKE THEM LOOK SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT. I'M SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED YOU.
At this point, I was confused. Why wasn't this mentioned before? Why wasn't I given the option to adjust my order accordingly? And why did the braids and headband match but not the falls? I asked for a return and refund, but the seller refused, citing hygiene concerns and usage. I explained that I had only taken the falls out of the package to take pictures and that they had not been used in any way. The seller still refused.
I then turned to Etsy Trust and Safety, but as mentioned earlier, they have been unresponsive. I have since filed a dispute with PayPal, but the seller has already stated their intent not to comply with any resolution process.
In conclusion, while I have had many positive experiences on Etsy, this experience with Magic Tribal Hair has left a sour taste in my mouth. I urge all buyers to thoroughly research sellers before making a purchase and to be wary of those who refuse returns or have questionable policies. And while Etsy may claim to be a platform for talented sellers, they must also take responsibility for the actions of those sellers and provide a more effective dispute resolution system.

I am an individual from the middle class who has been earning a livelihood through the Etsy.com marketplace since 2020. I have successfully created and sold over 9000 items, gaining the satisfaction of more than 5000 happy clients. However, my account was unexpectedly suspended without any prior notice or given reason.
Additionally, I've noticed that Etsy seems to be overlooking certain other sellers who have been violating Etsy policies and have been actively selling since 2017. Surprisingly, no action has been taken by Etsy against these sellers.
Kindly reactivate my account https://sterlingfinejewels.etsy.com/ and grant permission to resume selling on the platform.

I went and created an account on Etsy for the purpose of opening a store to sell my 3D printed items and designs. Started my etsy store on the 28th of November. Made my first sale on the 30th of November. After quickly submitting my customers order to my POD provider (yes, my designs are done by me and not someone elses), I logged in and found a banner on my page stating "your account has been disabled, please check your emails for reasoning".
Checked my emails and spam - nothing. Filed an appeal and was told "We’re unable to reconsider this decision and can no longer respond to further messages about your account status. We appreciate the time you’ve invested on Etsy and wish you success in your future endeavors".
Not only did they forget to mention or explain the reasoning for being disabled. They also decided to silence me as a new customer by stating "they will no longer respond" .
I'm disgusted that a corporation so large has such awful customer service. What hurts the most is not knowing where you went wrong.

Support team
I am not very happy about the help from one of your team. One of my listings was removed and I asked what the violation was. The could not get a proper answer from your team. The item I was selling I’ve seen many on Etsy selling the same thing but their item was not removed. I think as a seller this situation would not be the best for other up and coming sellers who are going to join Etsy. As it stands now I got no help from your team , having to send numerous messages and still not got the answers I asked so I’m afraid I will not be advising people to sell with you. It’s appalling ! How can you reject on sellers item but several other sellers selling the same item have their listings on site?
I have tried to attach the messages but it keeps coming back error. If you can give me an email address I can forward them onto you.
Claimed loss: Loss of a sale
Desired outcome: An apology from your team member and my item listed like everyone else’s.

I made a purchase on 15 November 2023 on Etsy and I did not receive the purchase that i ordered. I tried to be in contact with the seller, who keeps updating the store but she does not respond to me.
I tried contacting Etsy, I don't get any response. I've opened cases but I don't get any proof that the case has been opened.
Please help me get my money back.
Desired outcome: I want my money back
Worst customer service
I'm a new seller and this site customer service is the worst! They are relying on AI way too much and not attending to their sellers needs. I just recently reactivated my site and they shut me down over my EIN saying that it wasn't correct no matter what I do and how many IRS docs I submit I am in a state of customer service hell with their automated system. If I have learned anything from this experience, diversify, I'm using this down time to create a website and not pay my ads to go to etsy. Such a lame experience.
Claimed loss: Loss in revenue
Desired outcome: Renew my site, on the site it states it's resolved yet I'm still blocked and can't get help
Etsy's autobots determining sellers' livelihoods
I recently experienced a situation with Etsy that I feel compelled to share, especially with current and aspiring sellers who may be unaware of the potential instability of the platform. My shop, which was in full compliance with Etsy's terms and policies, was abruptly shut down without any given reason. Despite a considerable investment of time, effort...

Scammed/ Fraud
My name is Mpho Nyambeni, from Pretoria South Africa, I am ETSY intern on the 3rd level, having only one (1) order to complete my internship, amounting to R26 378.00, I asked my supervisor to help me since it is a huge amount for me.
On the 8th of September 2023 at 10:16, I paid R19 700.00 to form ABSA bank to Capitec account [protected], reference no.5C4BF43E, to complete my internship. The deal was to top-up and Supervisor will apply to the mall to subsidize me.
Later I got the message from my supervisor telling me to ask for a refund from my bank, because the seller deactivated his account and did not get the money.
My bank said if the seller’s account was really deactivated, after 10 working days the money will bounce back into my account. That never happened.
That was borrowed money, I have to pay it back.
Claimed loss: RT19 700.00
Desired outcome: Please refund

To whom it may concern:
I’ve had a small business on Etsy since my father passed away, in his honor. Antique & vintage shop. Beautiful shop, amazing items, did well for a new business online. ALL 5 star reviews!
On Sept 29, 2023 I posted a beautiful Antique Kashkan Perisan Rug from 1920’s. I found the item in auction in Ohio 2023.
Sept 30th, account was suspended, reason being I cannot sell any item from Iran. First the item is not imported from Iran nor is Iran profiting. Second, currently Etsy has 121,242 of the same or similar rug posted by active sellers. I have emailed and sent appeals for 3 weeks, no response. If they asked I would have happily removed the item.
Unacceptable! Etsy business practice is unethical, discriminatory, abusive, unfair, unreliable, untrustworthy, racist,
The most astonishing is we the sellers are lest with no contact via phone. Only by some basic online service which we have no response from.
Desired outcome: 3 hrs on each item listed, x97. description n professional pics. Need access to copy & paste no interest in doing business with such company. retrieve everything from acct to remove.
selling on etsy
it's been 3 weeks since I opened a store on etsy. I received 9 orders and shipped the orders to my customers. at this time my account was suspended by etsy. then etsy automatically made a full refund from my account to my customers. my customers did not have such a request. it has not even been delivered to them yet. it is not fair for etsy to take the money for the t-shirts I sent because my account was suspended and return it to the customers. etsy did not even send an e-mail about the issue. i needed a full-time job to support my family. but etsy victimizes small businesses instead of protecting their rights. i sent a few e-mails but I think it is a waste of time.
Budget Calendar
I order a budget calendar Sunday 10/15, 2023 for 5.85, it supposed to automatically download. the seller told me to check my account and I did, I sent the seller several more emails letting her know that I never received. No response back. She took the money, and I did not receive the product. I will be placing a complaint onto the BBB as well.
The seller took the money, and the product did not download. either she refunds my money or give me my product back.
my email is [protected]@cox.net or [protected]@gmail.com
Desired outcome: either I get the download or my money back
Star Seller Badge for RemnantBeauty UK
I post off my orders every day and noticed that I didn't qualify for Star Seller status due to 3 orders not having tracking info. All 3 of these order values were less than £10 - and I understood that it is not necessary to send items tracked for such low order value. They were dispatched well within time - I post every day.
Please can you alter this as I work hard to obtain the star seller status and the orders were dispatched on time?
Many thanks
Michelle (RemnantBeautyUK)
Desired outcome: Reinstate Star Seller status and amend the error that low value orders that are not tracked affect Star Seller Status.
Etsy keeping money that belongs to me
I too, will happily be involved in any lawsuit for mismanagement of my money. After several years of selling items with no complaints against us for anything, they suspended our account and are now holding our money that we rightfully earned. Every time I try to contact customer service I get zero response and the ticket closed or I get a canned response and the ticket closed. When I call, the agent says they will escalate my ticket and someone will call me back within 24 hours and that NEVER happens!
Desired outcome: I want my money, that is rightfully mine.
Blue angel rose seeds.
I purchased these seeds months ago & have propagated 7 plants which are growing now.No flowers. I noticed the leaf was different than my other blue rose plants.
I went into my local nursery wiesner brothers on staten island, who checked the leaf & stem out. It is definitely not
even in the rose family but it is in the weed family. I am very upset. This is false advertisement.

Vintage 1927 louis marx buck rogers rocket
I collect vintage items, So I saw this item Vintage 1927 Louis Marx Buck Rogers Rocket on Etsy and ordered it.
I had ordered other items before from Etsy with no problems, so I was not aware that if a customer had issues, problems or questions that "there is no way to contact or call Etsy".
So they leave the customer left to troubleshoot or that care of any issues themselves.
Also the seller that I bought the item from will not respond either. None of his information is viable. It shows the shop as closed now.
Etsy did not provide enough seller information for me to know that the item shipped from Mexico or Spain, or Italy... I'm not sure because the shipping company uses all Spanish language.
My order shipped on 07/10/23, moved 1 or 2 times and stopped on 07/12/23.
Still shows "In Transit"
I tried to track the order by calling the shipping company, no answer or response back.
I paid $166.73 for this item...
Etsy should be held responsible for items listed on there website.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund
