Disappointing experience with Factor75 meal delivery service - Not recommended
I recently tried out the meal delivery service from Factor75 and my experience was not great. I placed an order for a box of 18 meals and was charged on January 18th with a delivery date of January 24th by no later than 8:00 pm. However, when the delivery time passed and the box still hadn't arrived, my husband called to inquire. We were informed that our box had encountered some unforeseen issues but would be delivered by 10:00 am the next day, January 25th.
However, even by noon on January 25th, the box had still not arrived. I made a call to Factor75 to express my dissatisfaction and request a full refund. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with refused to refund my payment because the box had already been shipped. I explained that I did not want the food if it had been sitting in a box for two days, but the representative told me that their food was designed to be okay in a box for up to 48 hours. I found this to be a little questionable, since 48 hours is indeed two days.
Nonetheless, the food box finally did arrive shortly after. I took a video to document the temperature of the food at the time of delivery and everything inside the box was around 40.3 degrees Celsius, making it just barely out of the danger zone. I was not impressed with my experience with Factor75 and do not recommend their service to others.
Beware of Factor75's meal delivery service: A cautionary tale for picky eaters and those with gluten sensitivities
I figured I'd give it a shot and try out Factor75's meal delivery service since they seemed to cater to those with gluten sensitivities like myself. However, I was pretty disappointed to discover that I had to fork over all of my personal information just to get a peek at their menu options. When I finally got to the ordering portion, I realized that none of the selections really met my specific food preferences. So I pulled the plug and canceled the order straight away.
Well, six whole days later I noticed that Factor75 had gone ahead and charged my bank account anyway. Naturally, I was pretty miffed and dialed up their customer service hotline to rectify the situation and get my hard-earned cash back. I mean, I never even received the food after all! But instead of a speedy refund, all they could offer me was an excuse about a "system glitch" and information about a supposed "order" that I never even made.
After reaching out to their support team in vain, they told me that since the cutoff for shipment had already passed, I was out of luck when it came to getting my money refunded. Naturally, I'm not one to take such news lying down, so I turned to my trusty bank for help. Unfortunately, it seems like even they can't perform a stop payment for a debit card purchase like the one I made with Factor75.
Long story short, it looks like I might have to go the extra mile and file a fraudulent claim to get my money back. Let this be a lesson to all you picky eaters out there - Factor75 might not be the best option if you're looking for something more specific than what they group together in their meal delivery service. So do yourself a favor and save your personal information and your hard-earned cash for something a little more customized.
Factor75 Review: Disappointing Customer Service and Policies
So, I gotta say, I had high hopes for Factor75. I mean, getting delicious, healthy meals delivered right to my door? Sign me up! But unfortunately, my experience with them was less than stellar.
Here's the deal: I signed up for a trial food box, which was supposed to be totally risk-free and easy to pause or cancel at any time. Seemed like a no-brainer. I got my first box in late October, and honestly, the meals were pretty tasty. But I realized pretty quickly that I had ordered way too many meals, so I went to the Factor75 website to pause my next delivery.
And this is where things went downhill. Instead of pausing the next box, which was supposed to arrive in early November, they sent ANOTHER box to my workplace without my consent - on a day when I wasn't even there. And here's the kicker - the food needs to be refrigerated! I was so frustrated and confused, so I messaged their customer service to try to sort things out.
Long story short, Factor75 basically told me tough luck. They said I was too late to pause the November delivery (even though I had tried to pause it weeks in advance), and that it was just their policy to require a week's notice for any changes to the account. But here's the thing - they never told me (or anyone, as far as I know) that there's no grace period to try out the first box before committing to the service. So basically, if you sign up for that "free/reduced introduction box", you're already on the hook for another week's worth of meals before you can even try them out.
I was so disappointed by this whole experience. Not only did I end up with twice as many meals as I wanted, but I didn't even get to customize the second box or refrigerate the food properly. And when I reached out to Factor75 for help, they basically shrugged and said "oh well". Not exactly the kind of customer service you want when you're paying good money for a service.
Overall, I would NOT recommend Factor75 to anyone. Sure, the food was okay, but the customer service and policies were so frustrating that it's just not worth it. Do yourself a favor and find another meal delivery service that actually cares about their customers.
Factor75: Business Practices Review - A Scam or Convenience?
So, let’s talk about Factor75’s business practices. I’ve gotta say, it’s not great. The first thing is, you have to enter all your info just to look at their menu. That’s a lot of work just to see what they have to offer. And then, even after you pick a meal or two, you have to come back later to choose the rest. But what happens if you get busy and forget? They just go ahead and charge you for meals you didn’t even choose. And by the time you realize it, it’s too late. What a ripoff!
And don’t even get me started on the option to pause your deliveries. I tried, but it didn’t work. And all their meals taste the same! Plus, they’re pretty pricey, and the add-ons are even more expensive. The only thing I really liked were their shots, but you can’t just order those as a standalone item. Ugh.
I decided to try Factor75 because I thought it would make my life easier with my busy schedule. But boy was I wrong. The subscription thing is just ridiculous. I don’t need another thing to keep track of every day. And all those coupons they send you? It’s just an excuse to charge you even more money. They’re 100% shameless.
It’s like they’re waiting for you to walk through the door so they can trip you and steal your wallet. And when you ask for it back, they just say “sorry, it’s in the fine print.” Auto enrollment? Come on, give me a break. The CEO of this company is a total scam artist, like a used car salesman or something. I wouldn’t trust their food if my life depended on it.
But hey, that’s just my opinion. If you like Factor75, more power to you. Personally, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
Deceptive and Dishonest Practices: A Review of Factor75's Subscription Services
I been a loyal customer of Factor75 and I been receiving a shipment of 12 meals every week for some time. But then on September 7th, 2022 after receiving my order, I went on their website to pause my next order, because I was going out of town on September 14th and wouldn't be returning until September 25th. I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't receive any meals while I was gone, so I made sure to pause my future orders until September 27th.
To my surprise, on September 13th, Factor sent my weekly supply of 12 meals despite the fact that I had paused my orders until September 27th! I was really upset about this, but I didn't have time to deal with the issue because I was leaving the very next day. So instead, I decided to freeze the food shipment and eat it when I returned from my trip.
On September 20th, I called Factor to ensure that they weren't going to ship another food order that day, and sure enough, despite cancelling my orders on both September 13th and September 20th, they told me that another order had been shipped! I was really frustrated at this point, so I let the customer service representative know that I had gone on the website and cancelled both orders. I even told her that I was out of town and asked if she could have today's order rerouted or picked up by their delivery company.
She then asked their escalates service team if she could do anything, and they told her to offer me a credit for a future delivery. I was really annoyed at this point, and I told her that I wasn't interested in a credit. I had already paid for an erroneous order on September 13th, and I wasn't willing to pay for another mistake. I just wanted a full refund, and I wanted to pause all future deliveries until I turned them back on.
Unfortunately, they refused to provide me with a refund, so I told them to cancel my account, and I would take it up with my credit card company. I was really disappointed with the whole experience, and it made me question whether or not I wanted to continue buying from them.
I'm writing this review because the customer service representative let me know that I wasn't the first person to call in with this exact same issue, which leads me to believe that Factor75 is aware of their website issue. But rather than correcting it, they just issue credits to keep customers ordering their food and ignore those that want to pause or cancel their subscriptions.
In conclusion, I will never use Factor75 again, and I think it's really important to get the word out about their deceptive and dishonest practices. I hope that they will take this as an opportunity to reassess their policies and really listen to their customers.
Of the many prepared meal delivery services we have tried, my husband and I prefer Factor
Of the many prepared meal delivery services we have tried, my husband and I prefer Factor. The food is delicious, and our orders have always been well packaged and arrives chilled.
At the time of this review, I have yet to receive a box and my comments are solely regarding the service aspect. My professional background in escalations has taught me to be very thorough when placing orders with companies. I was careful to ensure the promotional discount was applied throughout the entire ordering process. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a classic case of bait and switch, which they were clearly aware of. My best friend had sent me a referral for a complimentary box, which included 6-8 meals, and we opted for 8. The total was prominently displayed as zero, with only shipping costs to be paid, which seemed reasonable. I double-checked this before entering my payment details and processed the order without further thought. However, the following morning, I received a notification from my bank indicating a charge had been made. This was an alarming way to start the day. I reached out to customer service via chat and was met with a dismissive attitude. The representative, far from being helpful, seemed to take pleasure in exacerbating the situation. Her approach was the antithesis of putting a smile on my face, as she had initially promised. I even saved screenshots of our conversation as evidence of her unprofessional behavior. Her lack of empathy was evident, as she was unaware that her actions brought me to tears. With the stress of mandatory overtime for months, I was looking for a convenient meal solution for my family to ease the burden of my hectic schedule. My friend had recommended this service, and I was hopeful it would simplify my life, but instead, the experience turned into a nightmare. The app clearly showed my discounted order for the following week, yet they failed to honor it and created a new order at full price. I have evidence of this as well. My advice to the company is straightforward: if you do not intend to provide free boxes, then simply don't offer them. Offer codes for discounts instead. But if you do make an offer, it's crucial to honor it. If that's not possible, then such promotions should be discontinued. Ultimately, the issue was resolved after an hour of frustration and a brief 5-minute solution, but it was an experience that warranted reporting.
Awful customer service. Was lied to directly by multiple associates about cancellation of a box and getting a refund. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE
Zero stars! The customer service was nice but who cares - if you are stealing my money!
Spammers
Spammers. Unsolicited emails every 2 days trying to get me to sign up for "free meals" that in fact require subscription. "Unsubscribe" button and direct requests to customer support have no effect.
BY FAR the best quality & flavor of ready prepared online meals
BY FAR the best quality & flavor of ready prepared online meals. Plus BY FAR, *thekindest most helpful customer service folk. Just wish ALL online businesses operated at the "Factor 75" level of ideals.
Horrible customer service. My friend referred me and it was supposed to be a free box of ten meals and they charged me twice. I called and the rep started yelling at me telling me it says I get a discount off the first three boxes which is complete Bs. A supervisor was supposed to call me back and no one ever did. The food is actually pretty decent but I wont order from any company that treats people the way they do.
Terrible Customer Service:I have been a *** user for over a year and love the meals but the customer service has become a joke. The customer service used to be fine and actually pleasant until recently. Last week I called because I was unable to update my delivery address through the company website. It took 30 minutes to get my address updated due to a language barrier. Today I logged in to check my upcoming meals and found out that my address did not get updated by the customer service rep. I tried again to update my delivery address from the website with no success. Therefore, I called customer service a second time. Unfortunately the language barrier continued to be an issue, it took me 15 minutes to spell my email address to the representative only to find out that the representative cannot edit my address until Monday. She requested I call back on Monday to get this fixed. At this point I have had it so I requested my account to be deactivated. When prompted if there was anything else I would need, I stated I would like to take the customer survey. At which time the customer service representative flat out hung up on me. I truly love the product but this show of customer support is ludicrous.
After experiencing an issue two weeks ago - when my order was shorted by two meals - it turns out that the meal delivery company intentionally shorted orders due to an issue with a specific side dish that was included in two of the items I had ordered. The company did this on purpose, yet I had to endure a lengthy wait with customer service to obtain a credit (not a refund) for the items they knowingly failed to ship. I skipped a week of their service so that I could try another delivery service - which I was pleased with. However, I planned to resume with the original company a week later because how else could I use their credit? My next scheduled delivery from them was this evening. And that's what I received - a sealed shipping box from the company - containing no meals inside. They shipped me an empty box! Again, I had to contact customer service who disconnected me halfway through the conversation. Upon calling back, I was again offered a credit. My reply to this was what good is a credit if you continually fail to deliver the product. I demanded a full refund which, this time, customer service said they would issue. I will be deactivating my plan with the meal delivery company going forward.
Terrible customer service. They do not notify you ahead of shipments so that you have time to make changes to your order. It is basically a scam.
Since 10/10 I have received over 37 spam marketing emails from them
Since 10/10 I have received over 37 spam marketing emails from them. I have unsubscribed from their email list and I keep getting emails. I have contacted them to stop, no reply and I'm still getting emails. Don't give this company your information unless you enjoy being Spammed with marketing emails.
I have had no problem with my food except with the occasional items being incorrect
I have had no problem with my food except with the occasional items being incorrect. My issue with Factor is that they keep emailing me constantly after I have unsubscribed multiple times to every single spam message they send me over weeks and weeks and I am tired of it! Leave me alone, no not contact me again! There are class action suits out there against companies for this very reason, be careful before you find yourself on one factor
They didnt give me a tracking number for my second shipment
They didnt give me a tracking number for my second shipment. I asked *** for one, got a tracking number, then the tracking didnt move. Contacted *** again and oops! They forgot to tell me they canceled my order. It was processed for a refund, however, they didnt have any intention up until I started asking to either let me know the order was canceled or to refund the order. Really, really bad. Find a better meal delivery service.
Requested a refund after signing up, the food choices weren't keto friendly
Requested a refund after signing up, the food choices weren't keto friendly. After waiting 11 days and no refund I contacted support. Support informed me they see a chargeback and can't issue a refund. I never did a chargeback with my bank, I asked for the proof and they refused, kept saying they see the chargeback and refund issued by my bank. I ask for proof once again before I report it as fraud, all of a sudden they emailed me stating my original refund wasn't successfully done and there wasn't a chargeback as I should see their refund come through in 3-5 days. How ironic?
They have charged me while my account was not active. And I cannot get hold of a customer service agent for the life of me, I keep getting put on hold. Never to know whether somebody's coming back sometimes for more than an hour. Terribly disappointing.
Horrible service
Horrible service. Delivered my box to the wrong house.. in the wrong city. Got credited to my account but they wont let you use the credits fully. Which was $96.00+ they stated i cannot utilize the credits fully. Because Im on a promo. Their terms and conditions DOES NOT have a section describing how the credits will be utilized nor listed in their promotional info. So, they claim only a portion of credits will be utilized for a purchase of a box and cannot be utilized for anything else. The food is great but the services arent worth it. I only had 1 box delivered properly and it went downhill from there.
I used this meal service for 11 weeks until I finally decided to cancel it
I used this meal service for 11 weeks until I finally decided to cancel it. Out of the 11 weeks my delivered order was wrong 4 of the weeks. Thats more than a 36% error rate! Talk about bad company quality control. I was either given wrong meals or missing meals completely. I didn't give it only 1 star just for the fact that I was always compensated with account credits or total refunds when I contacted them about the mess *** But honestly, when your meal planning or have specific dietary needs, you just want your order to be right and the compensation doesn't really make up for it. These mistakes were just happening way too often.
Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful. Do not use them. Signed up thinking it could be helpful. Changed my mind, cancelled my membership on my own. However, they still had me setup for a meal delivery. I contacted them on 2/27 asking them to cancel the meals (arriving 3/8) and make sure to not charge me. They assured me the meals were cancelled and I would not be charged. Today, 3/4, a $78.99 charge appeared on my bank app from them. I immediately contacted customer service who said they issued a refund and it could take 3-5 business days. I'm sorry, the refund should have never been necessary had they done what they said. Now my money is in limbo until next Thursday while I need gas, groceries, etc.
Food has been amazing, some of the best that Ive tried
Food has been amazing, some of the best that Ive tried. That does no good if it doesn't show up. If you want a couple of meals for variety that is fine but they cannot be depended on for meal prep. I found out mine weren't coming when *** drove past the house. Checked the app and *** didn't even have them yet. Even though the company has my phone number and email there was no notification of the delay.I called customer service to attempt to resolve the issue and they only solution they offered was to refund me for a product they didn't send. They acted as if they were doing me a favor by not charging me for something I didn't have. First customer service agent hung up on me when I told him my issue. The next 2 were friendly and did the best they could with the scripts they were given, but still zero help. The company overall is garbage and doesn't care about the customers. Order from them at your own risk.
To whom it may concern,I would first like to make it known that I have been a Factor 75 customer off-and-on for over a year
To whom it may concern,I would first like to make it known that I have been a Factor 75 customer off-and-on for over a year. Up until the past few months, I have been completely satisfied with the services provided by Factor. Over the past few months, on two occasions, my Factor 75 meals have been delivered well past the promised delivery time of 8PM. The unfortunate part about this is that I work nights and can only wait so long before having to leave for work. In two of these cases, I waited until 8:30pm but my order did not arrive. When I returned home from work in the morning, My Factor 75 box was just sitting there. I opened the box and found that the contents were barely cold. The was absolutely no way that I was going to trust the meals to not be spoiled. Granted, the customer services representative that I contacted was very helpful and refunded my order in the form Most recently Order No. *** did not arrive at all. I contacted At Co with Factor 75's Customer Experience Team, who offered me an insulting $25.00 credit for the trouble (in the form of "Factor Bucks"). The problem with this offer is that my order was nearly $85.00. I insisted for a full refund directly to my bank account. Finally, At Co agreed. Notwithstanding my gratitude for Factor 75 refunding my order, there is a major breakdown within their logistics and contracted couriers. Factor 75 needs to understand that they are not the only company who offers this type of service. Unless these reconsider how to resolve these issues, they will fail as company. I truly hope that the right people read this and that positive changes can be made to resolve these short-comings.Respectfully
I just got my bank statement and there is a charge for 73.44 that i did not authorize
we received meals that were different than ordered - we revised the order you preselected -got stuff that was not wanted - order delivered on May 14 2024

Order changes not saved after hitting save and horrible customer service
Yesterday 6/28/23 I made it a point to go on to the app to remove the premade selection and pick my own because the previous order I had forgotten and got a few meals that I ended up having to throwout. I clicked the save button and yet the order it says I am getting is the dang "preselected" ones with one of them being something I can not eat and a few others ones I will not eat... So once again I am getting meals that are not cheap and will have to be given away or thrown out! I called the so called "customer service" who was NO help said it was already too late. How in the world is it too late to fix a few of the meals when the order was processed a few hours ago? She refused to help get me to someone that I could talk to that could help me find a solution for these meals. So I finally just told her to cancel my subscription, which she clearly did not care about.
To be clear I am not here to complain about the product itself. I actually loved these meals and I am upset that it came to a point that I had to cancel because I could not get help. I was struggling to loose my post baby weight since I do not have the time or energy to go to the gym. But in the first 3 weeks of eating these meals and no other changes to my daily routine I lost 11 lbs.
Did not submit authorization nor selected meals
5/31/23 Accessed the website, were made to create an account, including adding a credit card, before being able to view meal selections and plans. I selected the 10 meals plan and begin looking at the available meals. The website automatically populated several meals into my cart, for which I deleted because I was allergic to the ingredients, bell peppers and poblano peppers. After not being able to find 10 meals within the calorie smart options that did not have bell peppers, and only finding meals that are at a higher cost, I logged out with intent to return at later date and find meals. I did not have 10 meals in my cart, nor did I submit approval to continue with the service, yet the following week I received 10 meals, most of which where duplicates and 8 I was allergic too. Their phone number had a dial tone as if out of service. Factor75 charged $73.44 at 1145pm 5/31/23, before I even selected any meals and exited the website. I field a complaint with PayPal and canceled my credit card due to this fraudulent charge, and canceled the plan. 6/7/23 PayPal was charged $110.91, despite having not accessed the site nor selected meals, while Factor75 site shows 6/8/23 last payment and status of INACTIVE. 6/9/23 logged into Factor 75 and deactivated the plan, again. 6/13/23 10 meals arrived, again without selecting meals nor authorizing delivery. Called, this time spoke to representative who claimed my account was closed, which I had done twice now, but could not explain to me how I can be charged for meals that I did not select nor approve of shipping. It was explained my ship date was Wednesday and that the cancelation on Friday was after Wednesday. There is no explanation that you have to cancel prior to the day that you have not approved for meals that you have not selected. Filed another fraudulent charge with PayPal. The site will not allow me to remove my payment, how can one guarantee they will not continue to charge, even though the account has been deactivated twice now. Now I am contacting class action lawsuit. https://www.classaction.org/news/lawsuit-claims-factor75-kept-consumers-in-the-dark-regarding-automatic-subscription-renewal-terms
Desired outcome: Reimbursement for $73.44 and $110.91, meals that I did not select, and I'm allergic to. Removal of my PayPal account so they will not continue to charge.
Terrible Customer Service Experience with Factor75 - Save Your Time and Money Elsewhere
The customer service at Factor75 is, to be frank, atrocious. I had attempted to cancel my order a week prior to it being delivered, yet I was still charged on my card, with no solution or roundabout. It was a real letdown. This company is just not worth your investment of time and money - I would advise you to take your business elsewhere. At the end of the day, customer service is extremely important to every business' success, and Factor75 neglected to fulfill that need. Their greedy and self-centered desires for their own personal gain is truly regrettable. I truly wish I had never gotten involved with them in the first place - so beware!
Disappointing Experience with Factor75's Meal Delivery Service: Overpriced and Mediocre
Yo, so I gotta say my experience with Factor75 was kinda whack. When I logged in, my account got reactivated without me knowin' and I didn't get an email 'til my order was already being prepared to ship. When I hit up customer service to try and cancel, they told me it was too late. To top it off, I didn't even get the discount they promised me for reactivatin' my account.
Then when I got my meals, they were straight up disappointin'. I paid $74 for 4 meals and they were only kinda healthy and just okay in terms of taste. Like, ain't nobody wanna spend that kinda moolah on some mediocre eats, ya feel me?
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Factor75 based on my experience. It was pricey and the customer service was lackin'. Plus, the food wasn't even all that good. Save your hard-earned dollars and cook your own healthy meals, or look elsewhere for a better meal delivery service.
Disappointing Experience with Factor75.com: Overcharged, Incorrect Deliveries & No Compensation
I recently made a purchase on Factor75.com, where I planned to order 12 meals in total and picked out specific meals for my week. I was excited for this because I heard good stuff. However, I had a few setbacks as they overcharged me $154 instead of the initial expected $99 with a promo code. In addition to that, they tried to charge me extra $99 also for the same week, which was unexpected in any way possible.
After realizing this, I gave them a call to make sure the extra charge was canceled, which was done but I couldn't get any help on the difference being made up. I found this unfair as they had overcharged me and were not keen on correcting their mistake. I felt left out of my budget with those charges and being unable to make any adjustments.
Unfortunately, that was not the end of my bad experience with Factor75.com. The biggest issue came when my package arrived, and I discovered that NONE of the food I had previously picked was in the package! It was at that point that I felt like throwing my hands up in the air in frustration. I was at a loss because I was expecting something totally different from what I got.
In conclusion, I must say that my experience with Factor75.com has been quite turbulent. With all the issues I faced; overcharging me without any form of compensation or any attempt to correct the mistake and not delivering the meals that I initially requested, it was all disappointing. This is highly unacceptable as a customer who is trying to get some meals to get through the week. I hope they see this and make amends for people like me.
Factor75: Delicious Food, Lackluster Customer Service
So, I tried out Factor75 for the very first time. The thing is I didn't get any confirmation emails, texts, or receipts of my order. That's a big red flag, what if my order doesn't arrive? I'm all in a daze and left wondering when my meals will get here, nobody likes that kind of stress. So I called up their customer service, explained the whole thing, and guess what? They couldn't give me any answers. I got a response I couldn't believe, they basically told me "we don't/can't provide any of that information". Well, dang. I don't have time for that, and I certainly don't want to spend money on a service that doesn't seem to care all that much.
Speaking of money, this service isn't exactly the cheapest out there. I expect better customer service when I'm spending a pretty penny. It's the least they could do to send a confirmation email and update me with a rough timeline of when my meals will arrive. But they said they "can't" provide any of that info, what kind of response is that? It doesn't exactly inspire confidence in their ability to deliver quality service.
I mean, sure, I haven't even tried the food yet - but what if I do and I love it? What if the food is the best thing since sliced bread? That doesn't change the fact that their customer service is lackluster. It's enough to make me cancel my account and look elsewhere for meal delivery services. It's a real shame, too. I had high hopes for this service, but it looks like it's not for me.
My Disappointing Experience with Factor75's Poor Customer Service and Delivery Issues
My experience with Factor75 (factor75.com) left much to be desired. My initial order was unfortunately not delivered, and when I reached out to customer support, they were not helpful at all. Instead of apologizing for the mistake or offering to rectify the situation, they simply pointed fingers and said it wasn't their fault. This was disappointing to say the least. As a paying customer, I expect the company to take responsibility for any issues with delivery.
Furthermore, because the issue was not addressed, I have decided to take my business elsewhere and will not be giving Factor75 another chance. It's simply not worth dealing with poor customer service and the chance of repeat issues. I will also be sure to let my friends and family know about my negative experience so that they can avoid similar frustration.
Overall, I would not recommend Factor75 based on my experience. While the food itself may be good, it's simply not worth supporting a company that is unwilling to take responsibility and provide satisfactory customer service.
Disappointed with Factor75's Delivery and Support Team
I've been trying out Factor75 for a while now, and I have to say, the food is pretty okay. Or at least, it would be, if I ever actually got it. I gave them a shot twice and the first time around everything was great, the meals tasted good, and they were delivered on time. However, the second time around, things started going downhill.
My scheduled delivery came and went, and I found myself waiting for days for my meals to arrive. When they finally did, they were a mess. All of my food seemed to have jumbled around inside the box, and when I opened it up, everything was warm and definitely unsafe to eat. I couldn't believe it! I immediately contacted their support team, but unfortunately, they were not helpful at all. I tried getting in touch with them through a chat interface, but they seemed uninterested in helping me.
It's really too bad that the support team let me down, because I was really hoping that Factor75 would get its act together. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be ordering from them again. As much as I appreciate having food delivered to my doorstep, it's not worth the risks involved in eating food that's been left out for days. In the end, I'll stick to cooking my own meals and staying away from Factor75.
Questionable Billing and Customer Service Experience with Factor75
So, I tried Factor75 and had a bit of a rough experience. I picked out a few meals on their website, but before I got a chance to put in the discount code they sent me, I got charged automatically. There was no confirmation or anything! It was frustrating.
After that, I realized I had accidentally clicked on a premium meal that cost $19.99. I talked to one of their customer service agents and all they said was, "Sorry." They couldn't cancel my order, but they did tell me they would apply the discount code I had meant to use. Still, I wasn't holding my breath for that refund.
I have to say, each agent I talked to just seemed to repeat the same "Sorry" line. It wasn't very helpful. I hope my order actually arrives and I can try the meals out. I'm excited to see if they are worth the money and the hassle.
My Review of Factor75: Overpriced and Unhealthy Meals, Terrible Customer Service
Factor75 ain't all that great! I had to cancel after only 7 weeks because of the cost and quality. The saturated fat in their meals is sky high. And you know what they say, too much of anything is never good for you. So how in the world can they call themselves healthy?
And get this, when I called up to cancel they tried to play me, talkin' about I missed the cut-off time by 1 hour and that they couldn't give me a refund for the box that was supposed to ship out in 6 days. But they were more than happy to "put a hold" on my shipments if I wanted to "think it over," like what?!
Honestly, it just don't make no sense. So they can put a hold on future shipments but they can't cancel one that's a week out and refund my hard-earned money that they supposedly processed just an hour before? I don't know about y'all, but that just sounds like a whole bunch of BS to me.
Disappointing Courier Service Mars Otherwise Good Food From Factor75
Factor75 makes some pretty good food, but their courier service is total trash. They use this company called AxelHire, and let me tell you, they're a real piece of work. I mean, they sent out my box on Tuesday night, which means that if you're looking to do some meal prep for Monday or Tuesday, you're totally out of luck.
But that's not the worst part. I gave them my business address for delivery, and for two whole days, the driver claimed that my building was "inaccessible" and just straight up didn't deliver my food! Now, I know for a fact that we get deliveries from FedEx, UPS, USPS, and all kinds of food delivery services without any problems whatsoever. So what's the deal here?
You would think the driver would at least try to get in touch with me or something, but no. They just cancelled the delivery for two whole days in a row. I mean, seriously, what kind of operation is this? Finally, I got fed up and called Factor75 to cancel this garbage service.
Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience. I mean, the food is good, but if they can't even deliver it properly, what's the point? And I don't know who's to blame here - Factor75 for choosing such a bad courier, or AxelHire for screwing up so badly. Either way, I'm not sure I can recommend Factor75 to anyone right now.
Avoid Factor75: Terrible Website and Customer Service Experience
This company, Factor75, has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I was excited to try their meal delivery service, but my experience with their website and customer service has been nothing short of a nightmare.
As soon as I placed an order, I noticed that there was an error in the website's order generation system. I immediately cancelled my order and received a confirmation email stating that my order had been cancelled. However, to my shock and disbelief, I found that my credit card had been charged in the amount of $91.00 just a few days after I cancelled my order.
Nine days later, I received an email from Factor75 informing me that my order was on the way. This was despite the fact that I had received a confirmation email for my cancellation. When I contacted the company to ask for an explanation, I was met with an absurd response. The representative informed me that Factor75 is a subscription-based service, and they generate an order if customers do not choose their meals individually. I was baffled - why was I charged even after I cancelled my subscription? And why was I not informed about this subscription model beforehand?
The representative did not seem to understand the seriousness of the situation, and dismissed my concerns by stating that there was nothing they could do. I was left to deal with the fraud department of my credit card company to try and get my money back. This was a time-consuming and frustrating process, one that should never have happened in the first place.
Overall, my experience with Factor75 has been anything but positive, and I would not recommend this service to anyone. The website's order generation system is flawed and has caused me undue stress and financial burden. The customer service representative's apathetic response only made matters worse. If you are looking for a meal delivery service, I urge you to look elsewhere.
Cancelled & deactivated account September 17 2023 with email confirmation of cancellation & deactivation. Then November 9 2023 received a charge for $42.97 on my credit card. Call company customer service and they confirmed I cancelled 9/17/23 but said reason for charge is for signing up in August. I said no; escalate this to the corporate office.
Factor 75 refuse to provide a refund
I created an online account, put in all my information to open the account, including credit card information. Due to the way the predatory and fishy way the website is set up, I opened the account in order to view the whole menu, to see the food options for breakfast, lunch, snack, etc. In opening the account, In order to view the information, I had to select how many meals I planned to order weekly and if there were any food to avoid. Upon looking at there food selections, I decided not to move forward with placing the order, therefore, I did not select food choices from their menu. I did not confirm any food selections. There was no button to confirm order placement. I was charged $104.99 before even seeing the menu. I
was not aware that I was actually placing an order. I thought I was just inputting my card information since I had not even seen the product yet. After viewing the food options, and deciding not to proceed, I realized that I had started placing an order and that I was being charged. A few minutes later, I cancelled the order and subscription in less than 20 minutes. After seeing that I was charged on my card, I contacted costumer service. After explaining everything to them, and letting them know that I didn’t select any meals, She told that the meals were pre-selected for me, and was told the next day that the order could not be cancelled. 1- I didn’t select the foods, 2- Their pre-selection includes foods that I don’t eat, 3-it’s supposed to still be delivered on 04/04/23. The order wasn’t even processed or shipped out yet and they refused to cancel and issue a refund, which is complete nonsense by itself, because she could supposedly edit the food options and edit the shipping address, but not cancel? But even more so due to the fact that I cancelled immediately after browsing the menu. The order number is [protected]. Their whole website and app is fishy. It tricks people to signup, and is not completely clear on canceling, that when you cancel, you’re actually not fully canceling, because I didn’t confirm an order placement or make food selections. Rergarless, it was automatically placed for me with specific foods that aí had specifically selected in the questionnaire to avoid.
Desired outcome: Cancellation and Full Refund
Food service
I subscribed to Factor 75 for as a food prep and delivery for my mother. Upon setup, I selected the meals for delivery. However, I continued to receive texts from my credit card company that my purchase with Factor 75 is denied. I contacted my bank and was informed that Factor 75 is using the wrong cc billing address. I contacted Factor 75 because now, my mother's meals are canceled. I tried resolving the issue with Factor's chat, which was unsuccessful, so I contacted them via phone. I can't believe that a company like this employs such ill-informed representatives. I had to repeatedly explain a very simple issue & remedy to the associate, which she still could not resolve. I asked that the issue be escalated to a manager, and was told that none was available, and that any manager would tell me the same thing the agent did. Nor did the agent offer to have someone more knowledgeable contact me.
So here it is, my elder mother's meal delivery was cancelled. Factor representatives can't resolve the issue, and I was not offered any alternative. How simple is it to change the billing address!? After this experience, I now know that this issue is a blessing in disguise. Who knows what other issues I might have encountered that Factor can't and won't resolve, or have such a lackadaisical attitude about...
Desired outcome: Fix my billing issue!
Want great meals that never arrive?
Want great meals that never arrive? You should try Factor_75! Out of over 5 deliveries, only 1 has showed up. The front line customer service reps are easy to get along with and truly do the best they can to make things right, but the supervisors never call people back. They never refund people like they are supposed to, and they do not seem bothered at all about *** lack of delivery. I spoke with *** and a supervisor with that company told me that all food boxed are currently being thrown away instead of delivered because of their backlog of packages. What a sad thing when we have starving folks in this country! Factor 75 and I just are not a good fit. They are unable to deliver reliably to my area because they use *** instead of *** They told me they were looking into switching providers in this are and would call me back and update me, but they never did and instead decided to keep sending things via ***. Now, I have canceled me subscription and am requesting a refund of $99 for my last box that never showed up... Think I will get a call back? I doubt it. The Agent informed me to open a case here to force them into a resolution. How sad that their supervisors simply dont care about their customers. I guess that is what happens when you get bought out by a *** Hello Fresh and are more profit focused then customer focused.

Food was delivered to a fictitious address. When I asked them to change the address they said it was past their cut off time and refused to change shipment & suggested I call *** (which I did ((they were a nightmare to deal with)). I asked them to redeliver the box of food to the correct address as the original box never even got delivered (I tracked the package & as of this email, it is still Out for Deliver to an address that does NOT exist). The company, whose companys customer service is not in ***, suggested I drive three hours from my home to search for the package if I wanted it so badly & it wasnt their problem. $176 worth of food just wasted. I am furious that this company is ripping people off. My husband works in shippinghe says this is NOT how shipping works at all & they are lying. Please help.
Very upset. Will report to Complaintsboard.com. This a scam. Account was deactivated on: 1/3/23. This is the SAME day I signed up. Account said I had until 1/4/23 to make changes for 1/11/23 delivery. This is EIGHT days prior to *** was still charged. I called customer service. The first representative pretended that he could not hear me and hung up when I said I was calling in Regards to cancelled subscription. The second representative named *** informed me that you have ONE week prior to delivery to cancel / make changes. I cancelled EIGHT days prior and was still charged. Will report to bank as FRAUD.
I opened up a profile Factor (meal planning) on Saturday 12/31 to check what they offered for meal selection, i didnt like the selection so i deactived my account same day.. although on 1/4/2023 they charged my account $43 without my authorization. Not only that my debit card that was tied to the account expired 1/1/23. When I reached out to inquire about a refund they said they couldn't do it because a box had already been sent out. After waiting an hour the response they said was trhing to give a 50% refund. This is not ok and I want my refund. I never wanted the horrible box they called meal planning.
Food received approx Jan 3rd, 2023 of food that should be kept at least cold (dairy, meat, poultry, etc). Received a completely soggy not even cold order for one month supply of food. With a use by date on packages of January 11th, 2023. My resend date is in February (8th?) 2023. I deleted my account. They state that it will take 45 days to completely deactivate and delete my account. I sent a cease and desist message via text. I should not receive any further product or billing. Nowhere in their deleting of account states that it will take 45 days to delete. It mentions if you have a delivery in process which I better not since my date to refill was February, 2023. But it leaves one wondering if this scam will go that far if it takes them 45 days to completely deactivate/delete your account.

On June 16, 2022 I clicked on A *** ad for factor and decided to look into it because it looked interesting. While looking into everything I follow the directions for my information so I can get a little bit more knowledge on this company. Doing so there is an option to see meals, and I was really interested in that I wanted to make sure that it was something that myself and my family would actually eat. Then there was a part where it wanted me to give you my bank information or link PayPal. I link PayPal just so I could see the meals and I was automatically charged for the plan without even being asked. I feel like this should be illegal I have never had a company take money from me in this manner.Today on June 27, 2022 contacted support about this issue at factor. I was given some very drawn out reasoning as to why I was charged the way I was, I Instantly felt like this company deliberately takes advantage just to make a dollar. I explain to the customer service rep was never anything that popped up asking me to place an order, there is never anything confirming me wanting to place an order, there is never any final button or anything for that matter asking me to place an order. This should not be legal to place an order for somebody without actually having a customer agree to it, and there was nothing that the company was willing to do to help.

Ordered 18 boxes on Thursday 12/29/22 Was charged for a second box 6 days later Wednesday 1/4/23. Called them today 1/5/23 to cancel that shipment less than 24 hours after being charged and am being told they will not refund me. When I asked to speak to absupervisor I was put on hold for about a minute and then hung up on. I still havent received the first shipment. So, in a 6 day period I have been charged for 2 shipments and havent even received one. I would just like to cancel and get refunded the money they took from me on 1/4/23.
I woke up to a $263 charge on my debit card from factor 75. I immediately called to find out why and I was told that an account was opened in my name. Using my daughters email address, she's 14. I called factor 75 and beg them to stopped the delivery of the food and beg them for a refund and they denied me. The order was not even delivered yet, nor was it shipped. I was told. By the associate on the phone that my refund was simply denied by the back office with absolutely no explanation on why. I'm sure because it wasn't shipped yet they would have absolutely no problem canceling the order and refunding my $263 and they refused.
I ordered my first meal service through Factor on 1/1/2023. As I went through the order process, it requested a credit card number which I provided, but no "Order This" button had appeared yet. As I got to the "Choose Meals" step, even though I had selected a different meal-choice plan, the system presented me with "Chef's Choice" and I could not change that. I decided I did not want to go through with the transaction. I went through the steps to Cancel (the company calls it "Deactivate") the service. I received a Deactivation email from the company dated 1/1/2023 at 2:58PM Pacific time. But almost immediately, I received another "Welcome to Factor" message. Fearing that I had somehow not cancelled, I went to my account and the site clearly shows that the plan is Deactivated. I also checked my credit card and saw no activity. But today, 1/5/2023, Factor put through the charge on my credit card. The site says one can ***. There is no chat function showing on the site. I made sure my AdBlocker wasn't preventing the *** button from showing. Ad blocking is off. I tried to call the number shown on the site's Contact page *** from 6am-11pm ET Monday-Friday). I continually get either a busy signal or a *** message saying the number is not in service.
They automatically charged me for foods that I won't be able to receive. I told them in a very quick turnaround as soon as they charged me, and they still refuse to do a refund and on top of that, insists that i should donate the food to a neighbor if I'm not going to eat it. They're a business, and asking the customer to go through the inconvenience for their bad business ethics and strategies. I told them I cannot even receive the package as i'm out of town. What's the difference of preparing the food for thousands of clients just because i told a tad bit later than their will? I need my money back, and if they're not going to do it, i will dispute it with the bank for fraudulent charge for unreceived item.
So how the subscription works, is you pick an amount of meals, and then they send you those meals bi weekly
So how the subscription works, is you pick an amount of meals, and then they send you those meals bi weekly. For example, when I would order, I would order 8 meals, and that would last me for a while, so I would not order again, and cancel the weeks I did not want. This is where the problem occurred. I got charged for an order for this week, that I cancelled on their website, or so I thought, and when I called them they said it was too late. That doesn't even make sense to me, as I had no reminder my meals were being prepared, or that I even had a deadline to cancel for the week. I thought I had canceled. So when I asked the person I was speaking to, to cancel the order, as I didn't have the money for it, they said they could not. Now, this was a day after my "supposed" deadline, and minutes after I had been charged. It was also a week before my "meals" would be set to deliver. I hate complaining, and I think this company probably helps a lot of people, but this was not right. Yesterday I arrived home from work to a box of meals sitting at my driveway, and I can only assume I am about to be charged more money than I have for the box I did not want. My main concern is that others will be done the way I have been, it is unfair (I know life is lol), and especially in our economy today, too much money to be charged someone who did not want the meals. They didn't even let me choose the meals.

I went to the Factor Website after receiving a paper flyer.I was asked to put in my payment method prior to knowing what it is that I would be receiving. After my card was charged a list if items they auto-selected initially came up. I am WFPB vegan and I was not satisfied with the limited options. I cancelled the "membership" immediately and thought that I would not be charged. However I did not receive any indication that I needed to cancel the subscription AND the order. I am not sure how I would even be able to do that without an indication of the same. I contacted customer service after I was charged *** but no product or delivery. I shared that I felt tricked and that this is not going to meet my dietary needs. He said he cannot do anything. He said the food will be coming and I told him this seems very deceptive - he hung up on me. I called my credit card company to report fraud. I received the box today... I cannot do anything... I cannot eat them and I cannot get my (almost $100) money back. Looks like many people are experiencing the same thing here. Perhaps a consumer protection and/or class-action case should happen because this is wrong.
Food delivery service that I did not sign up for. Called and they refused to issue refund AND another box is on the way that they will be charging me another ***. They refused to stop the delivery or issue a refund for a service that I did not sign up for. I had looked at the service and decided against.
I used to get food delivered from this company and decided to just look at the meals since I was considering ordering again. I did NOT choose meals and I did NOT place an order. Then out of the blue I got a text from a third party delivery service that my order was on the way. I went to the website and discovered that Factor had resigned me up for their meal plan without my knowledge or consent. Now I have 12 meals that I did not want and definitely did not want to pay for. Its completely unethical to trick people into subscribing just by LOOKING at their website. Never again will I use this company. I want my money back!
Order Number *** January 3, 2023 ... I went on Factor website because they were offering an introductory half-price deal and to see about ordering Keto meals. I gave them all the required information, including payment information. Only then was I able to see what the first week's meal delivery would consist of. I was not very excited about the choices overall, so I immediately CANCELED my subscription without approving the first delivery. I immediately received an email with a cancelation confirmation. January 4, 2023 ... Factor went ahead and charged me for the first delivery! I called *** and was told that there was nothing they could do ... that my subscription would be canceled after the delivery. Even though I NEVER placed the order for that delivery! And doing further investigation online, I'm finding that they are doing this to quite a lot of people. That's criminal!

I looked at this website and initially thought I might use it but after I had input all they info they required to set the account up before letting you see the meals, when I looked at the meals they offered there were none that I thought were interesting. At that same time I DID NOT CLICK ON THE SUBMIT BUTTON TO COMPLETE THE *** and I also closed the account. So I was very surprised to see a debit from these scammers for ***. When I went to the website I could not sign in because it said the account had been deactivated. When I initiated a new password and looked at the order they were sending I knew immediately that it was a scam -- there is simply NO WAY I would have ordered food made with jalapeno or poblano. Like many shady businesses that get lots of complaints, they do not list their customer service number on their website -- your only option is to look at their FAQs -- at no time can you get customer service in real-time with what is listed on their website. I did find a contact number under their listing on the Complaintsboard.com website, which showed multiple complaints (close to 90 in the last year) about their business practices, which mostly involve them charging people for meals they haven't ordered. I called and asked them to stop the order and refund the charge, which they refused to do, saying it had already "shipped," even though the charge was only submitted last night around midnight and today is the Thanksgiving holiday.

On 12/28/2022 I went on Factor 75 website and looked into their meal delivery service. I could not view the meals until I put in my credit card number. I put in the credit card number and reviewed the meals, I did not select the meals for delivery and immediately canceled the subscription within 10 minutes of signing up I did receive the cancelation yet noticed they charged me *** I called them immediately where I was told only for any farther deliveries which I then asked that they refund me for the full total considering I didn't want the order or did I want their services which in return she said that there was nothing she could do ... I then asked for *** to handle my complaint thats when she hung up on me. I dont want anything to do with this company they are scamming people into purchasing their food I like a total refund and all information of me off thier account thank you
They charged me for an order I did not place. I called customer service 3 times and except for one had extremely rude people. I was told there is nothing that can be done, the charge cannot be reversed and there are no supervisors. The one nice person claims she told someone to call me, but I have heard from no one.
On December 28th I received my first box which upon opening some of the meals had opened in transport and spilled out so 3 of the meals were not able to be tried. Then immediately after midnight on December 29th I was charged for my next box. When I contacted customer service they said there was nothing they could do to issue a refund as my shipping sticker had been created. When asked about speaking to a manager they informed me that there was nothing a manager could do either. I repeatedly asked for a manager and then they said they were transferring me to a manager and one never joined the chat. The amount was $73.93.
Charged me for canceled subscription.
I purchased a one time meal box for delivery on Wednesday, July 13th
I purchased a one time meal box for delivery on Wednesday, July 13th. I authorized a one-time purchase for the meal box. They then automatically enrolled me in a recurring subscription and delivered a box to me the next week on Wednesday, July 20th. I asked for a refund and they refused to give me one. I then asked them to cancel my subscription verbally while on the phone and I also went on their website to cancel my subscription as well. I then received a third meal box today, July 27th and was again charged for it despite canceling my subscription. Despite being "fresh" and "made to order" food, they claimed they needed an eight day advance notice of a cancellation to remove my recurring subscription for this week. Since I had cancelled my recurring subscription on July 21, they again initially refused to help. They ultimately agreed to refund this weeks meal box only after calling multiple times and luckily finding a customer service representative that took pity on me. They have outright refused to refund the meal box for the week of July 21st. Despite cancelling my subscription verbally over the phone twice now and also cancelling on the website twice, I have received no confirmation email stating my subscription has been terminated. I want to make sure this doesn't continue and I would like a refund for the second week's box as well as it was not communicated at any part of the checkout process that I would automatically be enrolled in a recurring subscription.

Prior to this June -July I used factor in June and July
Prior to this June -July I used factor in June and July . I got covid in July and suspended service. Fast forward to this year and I reactivated my acct, but never really paid attention after that. I got a box Wed July 20,22. I was confused because I did not get any confirmation or email tracking. I began searching for the charge ( because I never saw one on any acct of mine) . I looked on the site and I see a card Im not familiar with? I called immediately and spoke to 3 people and finally 1 said a supervisor would call me in AM. That night at ***am I got 2 emails from factor stating so and so claimed a free box. A third email at 1am saying the same! People I dont even know. I logged into factor and see 4 yopmails added to my account that are not familiar to me ( listed under free box invites). I forwarded all of this to a woman named kristian *** (works there) . Spoke with supervisor ( 2 different ones. One told me the card was associated with *** I do bank there so I thought I would check with them, but they are not familiar with the card. The card expiration is 7/27? Like a new card? I sent a follow up email about any updates, as this is very unsettling to me. I told factor they need to remove the card from My acct because it wouldnt let me? I told them to notify the card company because I have no way of knowing if this is a credit, debit, etc. I havent heard anything. I would like an update . I did email and ask for one but got no response.
