We got an advertisment from the dealer 'bout a $25.00 gift card
We got an advertisment from the dealer 'bout a $25.00 gift card. The add said just come by the dealership and fill out the paperwork to get a $25.00 gift card. No obligation. We went to the dealership on 6/6 and talked to JT. We did take a test ride but couldn't agree on a price. We filled out the papework for our gift card and they said we'd get it in the mail. But we still haven't got it. I've emailed 'em several times and called 'em, but no response. I just want the gift card to fix this problem. Right now, I feel like they're lyin' on purpose with their advertisin'.
First, I gotta say that Barry was awesome in answering my questions and keeping up the communication
First, I gotta say that Barry was awesome in answering my questions and keeping up the communication. He even hooked me up with a decent price. But here's the thing that got me ticked off, hence the one star. I was out of town, so I couldn't pick up the car right away. In the meantime, these guys went ahead and sold it, even though we had put down a deposit. Now, that's not the worst part. When I asked for my deposit back, Barry hits me with the bombshell that it's non-refundable. I'm like, what? That's insane! They never told me that, and it's just not right. All I want is my thousand bucks back, man! I'm gonna take this up with the ComplaintsBoard.com, mark my words. I've been trying to get in touch with a manager, but it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I even tried reaching out to BOB b., the sales manager, but no dice. So, please, just give me my money back already!
I bought a vehicle service contract for $3848.00
I bought a vehicle service contract for $3848.00. I was hearing strange noises from the steering and suspension, so I called the warranty company. They told me that the warranty wouldn't cover my vehicle. I then called the dealership and spoke with Lorenzo H. He asked if I had started a claim, and I said no because the warranty company wouldn't cover it. Later, Lorenzo called me back and apologized for the inconvenience. He said that if he had known about the suspension and tire modification on my vehicle, he wouldn't have sold me the warranty. He assured me that I could expect a full refund. So, the warranty turned out to be useless. Lorenzo told me to cancel the warranty, and he would request a refund for me. I waited for about 10 days, but there was no update. I contacted Lorenzo again, and he informed me that I would only be receiving $1100 back, which was prorated. I don't understand how they can prorate something that I couldn't even use. Because of their mistake in selling me a warranty that didn't apply to my vehicle, I am now stuck with a vehicle that needs repairs, and I'm out of that money to fix it.

I bought a 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 SLT from Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram at Cypress Creek/Ferman Buick GMC, even though I live in Michigan and
I bought a 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 SLT from Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram at Cypress Creek/Ferman Buick GMC, even though I live in Michigan and the truck was in Florida. They said it was GM Certified and that the outside was "clean and damage-free." The Service Manager, Used Vehicle Manager, and I all signed a document confirming this. The salesman also walked around the truck with me and said there were no other problems, except for a scratch near the tailgate.
After I finished the paperwork and paid, I flew to Florida to pick up the truck. But when I saw it, I was shocked. The hood, grill, A pillars, and roof had thousands of dollars worth of paint damage. There was even a big dent on the roof. They told me to talk to Jason Godbout, but he only spoke to me once and hasn't returned any of my calls in the past 4 days that the dealership has been open. I've tried reaching out to other people in the business, but no one has responded.
I just want them to compensate me for the repairs I'll have to do in Michigan to get the truck back to the condition they originally said it was in.
I've dealt with this dealer before, and it was a terrible experience
I've dealt with this dealer before, and it was a terrible experience. I was hoping this time would be different, but unfortunately, it wasn't. We worked with them to purchase a vehicle, and they agreed to a price of 47k, as stated in the email they sent. I took time off work and canceled dinner plans to go there as they requested. Since we were selling them our jeep, we had to drive another car. After waiting for over a week and spending about an hour there, they suddenly told us that they actually meant 41k, not 47k as agreed upon in the email. They claimed they couldn't do anything about it. I spoke to the GM, but it was the same story. They showed no willingness to resolve the issue. Instead, they promised us a $100 gift card, but I highly doubt we'll ever receive it. I tried to find a compromise by suggesting they pay the full amount at 44,700 and some change, or even 44k and we'd cover the rest, but they refused. They lied, wasted our time, and pulled the old Bait and Switch tactic. It's not very ethical. I tried to give them a chance to make things right, but they didn't want to do anything about it.
I got a 2019 Dodge Charger and a Jeep that's worth less than what I owe on it
I got a 2019 Dodge Charger and a Jeep that's worth less than what I owe on it. I knew I needed to fix my credit, but then I saw this ad for a $75 VISA gift card if you test drive a car. So, I thought, why not? I filled out the online application and Hannah told me my credit was too low, but she said I could still come in and get the gift card to get some ideas for when I'm ready. She wasn't working on the 27th and 28th, so she wanted us to come the next weekend, but that didn't work for us. We ended up going on Sunday the 28th, right before they closed.
Turns out, we didn't like the knob thingy for shifting gears on the truck. The guy at the front desk told us we didn't actually have to test drive the truck. He said we could just text Hannah some pictures and still get the gift card. He also said we would get some paperwork in the mail, which we did. But then, about 6 weeks went by and all I got was a letter saying my credit was turned down. I texted Hannah about it and she said some other company handles the gift cards and she couldn't do anything about it. I even left a voicemail for the manager, but no response.
I feel like they discriminated against me because of my credit. Their advertising was really misleading.
On August 23, I got into an accident and decided to reach out to Ferman Collision center in Wesley Chapel to fix my car
On August 23, I got into an accident and decided to reach out to Ferman Collision center in Wesley Chapel to fix my car. They mentioned that some parts would be on back order, which was understandable due to Covid. In December, Ferman contacted me and said that the parts had arrived, so I could bring in my vehicle for repairs on December 9th. Since then, I've been calling them to get updates because they've had my car for about 2 and a half months now.
On February 16th, I went to the shop and they informed me that the part I had been waiting for, for 3 months, was actually the wrong one. They had to order a new one, and this news was quite frustrating. I haven't had a car since December 9th. Rick assured me that my vehicle would be ready by the end of that day or early morning on February 17th, 2022.
When I called at 12pm on the 17th, Rick said he wasn't sure if my car was done yet and that he would have to go out to the shop to get an update. He promised to call me back, but unfortunately, he hasn't. It's important to note that I work 45 minutes away from home, and my insurance only covers a rental car for 30 days.
I did some research online for a new vehicle and found this dealership had one of the best deals for a Presidents' Day sale
I did some research online for a new vehicle and found this dealership had one of the best deals for a Presidents' Day sale. I went to the dealer to check out two vehicles they had advertised for around $20,000. After test driving one of the vehicles, we sat down and when the salesperson came back with the price from the manager, it wasn't the discounted price. They tried to charge me the full price for the vehicle. When I saw the price, I told the man, "That price is not correct." He insisted that it was and called me a liar. I had shown the salesman the vehicles I was interested in. Online, it said the original price was $27,785 with a Ferman Jeep Discount of $9,035 (no mention of rebates, just discounts), making the final sales price $18,750. However, the vehicle I was shown at the dealership had an original price of over $30,000. They told me that even with a $10,000 down payment, I would still need to finance over $18,000. I have screenshots of the advertised price as proof. Additionally, I was told that I would receive a $75 gift card for taking a test drive. When I mentioned this, the salesman said that I didn't qualify for it. It seemed like they were committing fraud because I had something in writing that said I could redeem it for a gift card.
They added fees that we didn't know about
They added fees that we didn't know about. They added an availability fee of $5000 to the vehicle's price. They charged the pre-delivery fee of $999.95 twice. And they added $3.541 in warranties. They also told us that a payment wouldn't be due for 45 days, which was incorrect. On 11/12, we purchased a Dodge Challenger from them, and we were completely misled and unaware of these charges. I called them the next day to resolve this, and they were very rude and said they wouldn't help us with any of these charges because we had already signed the contract. John, the salesman, told us that all dealerships charge the availability fee, which was not true. I called every dealership from Brooksville, FL to Tampa, FL, and not a single dealership had even heard of this fee! So that was a lie. Additionally, we specifically told Vonka in the finance department that we didn't want any extra warranty other than the factory warranty, but when we got home and looked at the papers, we saw that she still financed them anyway. If this dealership does this to everyone, it's just wrong! We feel deceived, lied to, and completely taken advantage of. So, by filing this complaint, we hope to find a resolution. We would like these charges to be removed from our loan, and we would like the $5000 availability fee to be refunded to us. We also request an adjustment to our monthly payment accordingly. Thank you so much, *** & *** XXX-XXX-XXXX *** XXXXX.
I bought a 2017 Jeep Rubicon six months ago and got the bumper to bumper service contract they offered since the Jeep cost over 55k
I bought a 2017 Jeep Rubicon six months ago and got the bumper to bumper service contract they offered since the Jeep cost over 55k. On my way back from the Orlando airport to Tampa, my temperature gauge suddenly went from normal to cold. I had the top open and windows down, cruising at around 70 mph. It was a cool night, so I thought maybe the sensor was acting up or there was a minor electrical issue. About 35 minutes later, I started losing power in my Jeep and had to pull over. Strangely, I never received any warning lights except for the temperature gauge showing cold. As I was pulling over on the side of the expressway, a huge cloud of smoke emerged from under the hood. I called a tow truck and had the Jeep taken to a local mechanic shop called Tuffy's. Tuffy's informed me that the engine had overheated and they found some kind of "fix a leak solution" in the coolant reservoir. They said they couldn't accept Fidelity warranties and advised me to take it to the Jeep dealer. I managed to get the Jeep back to the original dealership and discovered a week later that they wanted 10k to fix the engine. The service contract I purchased wouldn't cover the repairs because they claimed it was due to excessive wear. They never mentioned anything about the fix a leak solution, and they agreed with the warranty company that the car had been driven excessively during overheating. What a joke! I have a $250 deductible and free towing, so why would I purposely drive my newly acquired 55k vehicle to break it? This dealership and service center are a joke, and it seems like they're trying to hide the fact that they may have missed something before selling me the car. I strongly believe that someone messed up during the "inspection," and now it's costing me 55k, leaving me with a Jeep without an engine. I had to call my family members who work for Jeep just to get Ferman to inform me about the scam they were pulling on me.
We were lookin for a Toyota 4Runner Off-Road
We were lookin for a Toyota 4Runner Off-Road. We saw an off-road in your Tampa location. We spoke to sales agent Jim P., got pictures of the vehicle, understood the condition and went over the price and all applicable charges. We decided to fly to Tampa, buy the car and drive back to Raleigh after a few days in Clearwater. Jim sales associate was helpful and inviting over the phone. We told him that we will be paying cash and will be coming to the dealership from Tampa airport. He assured us getting an even better deal because it was end of the year. Unfortunately once we were in the dealership, the treatment we received was nothing short of hostile. Ferman increased the price by a few thousand dollars compared to price showing on the website at that time. He explained the reason as "us not having a trade-in vehicle and also because we were not Financing". We were flying into Tampa without a trade and were always paying cash. We were stranded and bought the car because we were out of options. -We walked out of your dealership with Ferman charging us $41,029 when the price was $39,629. $1400 more - There is a dent in the back trunk of the car which Jim never communicated over the phone. We specifically asked any dings and damage. $1000 damage (estimate) - They charged lame fee (on top of dealership fee) for using titling company of their choice. ~ $500 (not precise) Increase in price is blamed on a fine print that refers to re trade-in and financing. Upon a close review, that also doesnt add up; no where it says that the specials are already factored into the Price displayed. Those are easily construed as additional offers. The auto sale industry is moving to touchless online business model and if Ferman believes in just luring customers, not be honest and up front 1/ on the state in the car 2/ and "other" charges, then unfortunately Ferman life is short unless they change this around.
vehicle. The online price was listed as $7,979, and we were ready to purchase it
vehicle. The online price was listed as $7,979, and we were ready to purchase it. However, when we arrived at the dealership, someone else had already looked at the car and the price suddenly jumped to over $11,000. This was a significant increase, especially considering the car's condition and mileage. Additionally, the dealer fee and other charges were exorbitant and did not justify the inflated price.
What made matters worse was that the dealership had removed negative reviews from their website, including mine. I reached out to the general manager, Luke M., on January 29, 2022, but I have yet to receive a response as of February 2, 2022. It seems that they are not addressing the concerns raised by customers and are engaging in deceptive practices, such as bait and switch.
This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. We wasted time and money visiting the dealership, only to be met with unethical behavior. I would caution others against doing business with Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram at Cypress Creek/Ferman Buick GMC, as they do not seem to prioritize customer satisfaction or uphold their reputation.
