They bill for an entire year of subscription even after you cancel on time. The customer service gives you a standard story and blames a third party, despite providing all proof that subscription was cancelled and it is their. DO NOT BUY
What a disappointment!
What a disappointment! So this thing says I need a knock sensor and idle air control valve so I buy the parts then take it to a mechanic. The mechanic gets pissed and asked who told you that. He said take it back because the parts are fine and it needs a water pump and timing belt. It gave it a false reading.

I have to update my review. I'd left a one star rating because of two months of dealing with their unsupportive customer support. They've finally responded and solved my issues, and apologized for my experience, with a promise that they would work with the support reps to try to improve. So, I'm upping my rating to three stars.

This company boast about their military grade products. But in reality, it is all made of cheapest plastic. Their products are sold online for maximum profit margin and with hidden return policy. They are scammers! do not buy anything from their website or their partner websites links. All of their products needs subscriptions and its worthless. Got annual program by mistake, paid through "Apple", who would not reverse charge, contacted FIXD direct who promised fee reversal but did not. Now I want to make sure I'm not billed again automatically at year end. Impossible to contact them again. Well, here is my review - less than one star, does not work as advertised, uncooperative on cancellation terms, save your money and do not buy this product, much better and cheaper ones available.

I contact customers service via email - they suggested immediately that this was my fault somehow. I paid via Paypal so I know for 100% that they received my billing and shipping address (the same) just fine. I could not find a customer service # anywhere on their website, but I finally found a 925 area code # online, called and just threw in the towel when they started harping on the shipping address. Not sure why cause the company has no number to call just email that no one has responded to. I tried even sending through facebok messenger. Still so response. I want my money back. At no time did they state they would be charging my credit card again. I contacted my credit card company and they informed me with my card on file they can basically do what they want. This is ridiculous. I wont stop til i get my money Back. When i do recieve this item i will be returning

I followed the tracking as it went from their location to a suburb just south of me in only two days! I was excited! However, that excitement was short-lived. The item was literally driven past the delivery location and sent to a different state, where it has been sitting for the last three days. I communicated once with "Nina" at Fixd via email about the situation. All subsequent attempts at communicating with Fixd have been ignored. I simply want a refund, but I fear that these rip off artists at Fixd are going to continue to ignore my requests.

Worst customer service and delivery. I purchased the product on 2/11 and for a confirmation for the purchase. After several weeks in which the product was not moving, I started emailing the company. They first stated that they were having issues with USPS, then they stated that they product was returned to them because of a wrong address. I send them my address again, in theory they sent the product and they product was sent back due to wrong address. This is a scam! The product on Amazon is $50ish, but it's $19.99 on their website. Could they be having financial troubles and are using "our money" to fix their cash flow issues? The fact is that its two months and not product, no phone number, and I am bombarded by John with offers to get their premium service... What premium service can I get if I don't even have their product? I want my money back!

First off the magnetic ball mount they provide is not strong enough to support the weight of the cell phone so even on the slightest lane change the whole unit tilts right or left. The unit is horrible in the sunlight and the response from Adam Black to me was to use a piece of plastic to block the sun. The app they recommend to use is HUDWAY which after multiple emails from that company still leaves no option to view the road as pictured( bottom to top) Instead you can only view the road left to right or right to left which has your direction of travel going sideways instead of head in a true north direction. WORST purchase I have ever made and the company rep ( Adam Black) said this was a clearance item..it never said clearance and I am within my 30 days. NO REFUND FROM FIXD

I couldn't pair it with my car. They said that all you have to do was chose make, model and year. I entered and said it couldn't be found it. I signed for the trial of the Premium Subscription which was 7 days trial period. When I tried the FIXD piece of junk I immediately cancelled the subscription before the 7 day trial period and they when ahead and charged my credit card. I took pictures that I cancelled. I can't talk to anybody in that company. They don't have a phone number to contact them. They are stealing from people. The Complaintsboard.com should not let this people in business. Then, when I was looking at the ordering process a pop-up appeared with spin wheel of discounts. I Spun the wheel and it landed on 67% discount. So that should be 67% off of $20, but no matter where I checked and browsed on their website, everything was a minimum of $20. I thought maybe they were trying to say their normal retail price times 67% off equals the $20 but that is not the case. This appears to be quite suspicious and misleading. Not quite sure if it is enough to consider it a scam but it is very misleading. And then I got an email asking me to take advantage of my discount from the spin wheel of 67% off and when I clicked on it it led to what looks like a Mother's Day sale, and then moments later shamrock slash good luck sale. And everything kept advertising that it was 67% off but whenever you continue on to order it takes you back to the page that is charging you $20. So very suspicious advertising. It also makes it seem as though the spin wheel is useless because everything is later advertised as being 67% off or $20 for the one time only purchase. For this reason and for the reason of all the reviews on the Internet, I have no plans on Moving forward to purchase the product.

I would like a refund of my money. I am surprised these innovative, Pier70 Georgia Tech Bulldogs auto renew without permission. There was no email stating an auto renew was coming nor did I ever authorize a service renewal.

Sometime about September , I made a $0.99 purchase of a physical product, a blue tooth enabled automotive diagnostic adaptor. I received the product and though I have not tried it I have no complaints that I wish to discuss with the physical product. On October 11 a SURPRISE debit of $69.99 was made to the credit card that I used apparently for software support services that I did not order. I am convinced that this is a result of dishonest business practices trapping the buyer into agreeing of something that is not clearly said nor billed at the time of purchase. I is billed a month or so later for the service that buyer neither ordered nor needed. Sneaky oil salesman comes to mind.

Just a couple months ago the APP started trying to force me to subscribe by placing ads everywhere anytime I try to use the app. You might be allowed legally to do this, but it's pretty annoying and am probably going to not recommend your product anymore. The real reason I'm complaining is that today I went to use the product and the APP would not open. I contacted Apple and went through troubleshooting (delete/re-install, turn off phone, etc) at the conclusion it's found that the problem is with the APP itself. Now I cannot even use this product at all. This is unacceptable and I wish to speak to a representative about when this discrepancy will be corrected.

My request for a refund for the subscription fee ($69.99) was REFUSED. There was NO COMMUNICATION from FIXD to advise that it was time to renew. This practice surely generates a lot of revenue for FIXD Automotive. The annual fee is more than the amount I paid for the device and the subscription in 2020; that's outrageous! On September 28 a SURPRISE debit of $69.99 was made to the debit card that I used apparently for software support services that I did not order. I am convinced that this is a result of misleading (dishonest) business practices that probably capitalize on the unlikelihood that a person using a small screen will read voluminous ancillary documents associated with a small purchase. Then, the "gotcha" moment occurs days later when a lot of money suddenly disappears from your bank account and you are left with the daunting tasks of getting it back.

I received a Fixd obd2 scanner as a gift 2 months ago. After using it for the first time the other day to clear and oxygen sensor code, the car no longer starts and all the dash lights flicker. The battery is brand new and checks out great. When I unplug the scanner from the obd2 port, all of the relays under the dash start going nuts clicking back and forth constantly. I am a certified mechanic so I know my way around cars. I keep everything up on my vehicle as well so there are no problems. This unit is clearly causing an issue with the computer in the vehicle. Since I can't get it started to take to the repair shop, I will have to get it towed and also pay for a very expensive repair. This company has zero customer service and it is not OK that I have to pay for these fixes that they clearly caused.

My information was hacked from my computer and someone ordered a product that was not received at my home. The company refuses to refund my money. An item was purchased on Nov.12, 2020 for $19.99 and then on Dec. 3,2020 there was another charge of $69.99 from the same company. I did not purchase anything nor authorize these purchases. The company refuses to refund my money. I live on disability and my income is under $800 per month. I cannot afford a loss of this amount. Brian was the name of the person who responded to my email. He has no compassion, empathy, or conscience concerning my information being stolen and used to purchased stuff from them. I was hacked. I had to change all my passwords and cancel my debit card. I am very upset about this. It may not seem like a lot of money to most people but it a lot to me.

I purchased two diagnostic sensors for $89.98 and lifetime warranty for $10. I Returned the items and only got credit for $89.98 On 01/26 I ordered two sensors($89.98) and a lifetime warranty($10) for the sensors. The order# is GO-XXXXXXXX-FIXD. The payment I Used was my Discover card ending in 4695. I received the items and decided they were not what I expected, so I requested and received a return label. I returned the sensors on 02/02. Today 02/09 I received a text stating I was getting a refund of $89.98 for the sensors, but the $10 for the lifetime warranty was not being refunded. He a person named *** said "The lifetime warranty is not refundable as this is not included in the money back warranty". Does that make sense? You refund on the sensors but not on the lifetime warranty for the sensors. To me that is idiotic.

I ordered a device ($19.99) and a $7.99 subscription and I have surprisingly been charged $69.99 out of nowhere. I would like my full refund. I ordered my Fixd Automotive tracker on July 9th, and signed up for their FREE 7 day subscription so that I could try it out, little did I know I would be charged for the device,(which obviously I expected) a $7.99 subscription fee, AS WELL AS a $69.99 surprise fee in which I CANNOT afford. I had no idea this charge was coming out of my account. This fee was charged on July, 24th, 15 days after I had ordered my device, and I still have yet to receive my device I might add. But that's not what I'm upset about. I did not sign up for this $69.99 charge, nor did I sign up for the premium subscription after my 7 day free trial was over. This $69.99 charge came out of nowhere and I do not have the funds to support a regular charge like this nor can I afford it now.

Two days ago I notice a transaction on my credit card for 69 dollars and it was from FIXD a car diagnostic device, by the way I just use it maybe 3 time, that was last year, I did know that they will renew my subscription automatically, so I try to contact the but no costumer service phone number, they to that in purpose to make it really difficult for the costumer to cancel a subscription or give a complaint about something, I send a email letting them know that I want to cancel my subscription and I want my money back and they told me no the won't give my money back, because that is only for the first 30 days, but I want the renewal money back that I don't authorized and I don't use his services and this was 2 days ago that I see the transaction on my account. I want my refund and they need to be more clear about automatic renewal and to not be so difficult to contact them. That is stealing plain and simple.

I lost my device, .purchased another, but charged again for second device In or about september or october I subscribed to the fixd app annually.Shortly after I lost my device. Hoping to retrieve my same service, as well as to continue the account, around December 10 , I bought another fixd app device. After attempting to retrieve my old account I was unable to. On december 28 in the midst of trying to retrieve it online , the app malfunctioned I suppose and as a result purchased another subscription.The fixd monitor company is in no way letting me retrieve my old account which has multiple vehicles, license plates , and all of their history in it. When I type the accounts email for log in it always says my emails used as if its on another account.I cant retrieve it. Attempting to, the app charged me again for another subscription which is not reasonable for me.

This month we got charged $69.99 on July 27. My wife was asking me about this charge, I got concerned that got scammed because I never bought anything else from them but the little gadget. My wife handles our finances. We went back to our online records for Visa charges and found the $19.99 charge on Jul 12, 2020, but we also saw a charge July 26,2020 for $69.99. My wife at that time thought this is what I bought from FIXD so she did not raise with me, but this month when she saw this charge she asked about it. I reached out to FIXD via email, asking them to cancel whatever they are charging the 69.99 and to reimburse us for both 69.99 charges. I got a couple of responses from E.S. at FIXD that he cannot process any refund and that my subscription will end after July25,2022. SCAM !

I Received my purchase on Apr 5 all is fine and well until I check my card statement and see a charge of $90.22 from fixd on apr 5. I contact fixd and they say that I had opted for the 2 free weeks on purchase and the $90 was a years subscription because I hadn't cancelled it within the 2 weeks. (Not true) I push further and now they're telling me it's an "in app subscription" and to cancel through Apple and request a refund from them (blatantly false, I have zero subscriptions through Apple and the charge on my card said "fixd auto" NOT "Apple store") I have sent them photos of both the charge on my card and the lack of subscriptions in my Apple store. -they charged me for something I didn't authorize OR receive access to -refuse to refund me based on shady practices -are giving me the runaround

I purchased a Fixd sensor two years ago and it came with a free year of their "mechanic hotline". I never used this service and did not consent to an auto-renew. I merely accepted the free year since it came with the device. Then in April I received a surprise charge of 59.99 that came out of my account without warning. I was sure it was not set up to be renewed and they didn't even bother to send a warning email. I reached out and asked for my money to be refunded and received a fairly prompt reply stating that the refund had been issued and verifying that any subscriptions were, in fact, cancelled. It took a full 7 months after that to actually receive my refund, but I fully believed they realized I did not wish to be charged again for a service I never used and didn't want. Then on 4/16 they took another 59.99 from my account. I complained and promptly received an email stating a refund had been issued. It has now been 6 days and my money has not been returned.

I was charged $74.53 for a yearly subscription for the premium service. I was almost certain I had canceled it before hand but it appears not to be that way and I did not receive any notification due to the reminders being sent directly to my spam folder. I had no intent on using the premium service given that all the capabilities I need came with the standard application. I only just noticed it as I was going through my Google purchase history on my account so I could check how much I had spent for my budget. I'm not entirely sure if it's even possible for me to acquire a refund for a subscription but if possible it would be very helpful considering I'm still having to pay for school as well as my car. Also given the fact that it has gone unnoticed for about half a month. I would also like to know why a yearly subscription to the service and something of that price would not have been reminded through a phone number or the app itself so something like this doesn't happen again.

Company sold us a product that we understood to be $20...ended up being charged over $100 to our credit card. customer service will NOT respond. My girlfriend and I recently purchased a product from FIXD via a Facebook post claiming their reader communicated with the computer in your vehicle and would display diagnotic information as well as any issues with the vehicle. We used the item in a vehicle with known issues. It said nothing was wrong. It did NOT display realtime diagnostics, nor was there any tutorial explaining how to operate the app associated with the product. I would have been happy to call that a $20 lesson...however the company charged my girlfriends credit card over $100 for what? We are unsure of as their customer service refuses to answer my questions. They gave us a number to call, she called it, they claimed they would email us a shipping label so we could return the product. We never received the email. Or any refund and now they will NOT respond to any further correspondence

The FIXD company charges multiple times for something I didn't authorize. The FIXD automobile tool that i purchased back in August for $19.99 also came with a free 14 day trial for the premium service, after the 14 days they automatically started charging my account that I didn't authorize, they make it confusing or impossible to unsubscribe to this charge that I never agreed to in the first place. I emailed a complaint directly to the company on 1/4 and said they issued a refund that it would take 3 to 5 business days and also canceled my subscription, well today 1/5 another charge was taken out of my account in the amount of $39.90, this has happened 4 times in as many days bringing the total to $159.60. I want my money back for the subscription, I dont mind keeping the tool and accepting the $19.99 charge, but not the subscription. The charges came out of nowhere, 4 times in a week. I feel that I was scammed, and if they want the tool back they are welcome to send a prepaid shipping box and I will gladly return it.

Fixd will take money off your card with out you even signing up for anything.. They saying you got to opt out. This is . if you didn't sign up for anything .They shouldn't be taken money off your card
