Unauthorized Charge of $47.48 was put on my debit card by Heartland of America
Heartland of America put an unauthorized charge on my debit card without my authorization. I did not sign up for any membership with them, I have sent an email requesting that all of information that is stored is to be removed immediately, this is a serious violation of my privacy, the charge was made on 08/31/23 and taken off on 09/1/2023, my financial institution, has been notified.
If all of my stored information is not removed immediately, the next contact Heartland of America will receive a letter from my attorney.
Desired outcome: Return my $47.48 and remove all of my stored information.

i purchased 2 tornado tools metal gard hoses. one 100ft and one 50ft. the catalog states they are 5/8 inch diameter but i cannot fit a 1/4 inch stock in the hole at either end. when i hook the hose to a sprinkler the water only goes about 8 inches high. this makes the hose of no use to me. my customer # is10470940 and the order # is [protected]. what do you propose to do about this problem? my email is [protected]@att.net. let me know the answer. thank you bob.

I ordered the above audio receiver and a desktop computer on 11/23/21. Both packages arrived but the audio receiver was found defective. I requested an RMA and was given RMA: [protected]. The product was sent UPS.
Ever since, I have contacted Heartland customer support and was given the run around.
This my 3rd attempt at resolving this issue. I have been a customer for over 10 years and it is sad to be treated this way. If I cannot receive Technical Pro RX113BT anymore I would like a refund of my money.

Bell & howell triburst 2000 lumen lights
I placed an order for the lights and another item. I received the other item but when I tried checking on the lights I kept getting the run around. according to their site it was shipped on September 8, 2021. When I try the tracking number that I was given it says that it was delivered on Sept. 14th. It may have been delivered but it wasn't to me. Now every time I try to reach the company I keep getting disconnected or else it won't give me the option to talk to a real person. I just had to bury my third son last week and I don't need all the garbage I am having to go through just to fond out where about my lights,

They claim they can't see where I placed an order but they billed my card
I placed an order for two products from their recent catalog on August 27th... didn't receive them so I emailed, took three weeks to finally get a reply and they tell me that they don't see any order at all except an order from April of this year! I can't find my order number ...I wrote it down somewhere...but they did take the funds off my card! I cannot dispute the charge because it's a prepaid card company that won't even answer phone inquires and I cannot even reach them by email ..my sons benefits go on this card and soc security won't let me switch his benefits to my bank account card because I don't have the account number ( I have had this card years and don't recall the account number). I'm between jobs, have a vehicle that breaks down constantly and I can't get anywhere to get a pair of shoes so I ordered from there ! They took what little money I had! I cannot reach them by phone!

dog bark eliminator
I received 4 separate shipments of dog bark eliminator - I did not open three (3) of them as the first one I received did not work eliminating the troubling dog.
I am requesting a refund on the four eliminators that I received...I only wanted one and not the four that was shipped----and the opened one did not solved the barking dog problem.

I ordered 2 pairs of women's shoes on 3/12/2019. The company emailed me and said that the order was shipped on 3/14/2019. I then got an email on 3/19/2019 that it had been delivered. I never received the package. I called to report it and was told I could receive a refund or replacement. I asked them to reverse the charge on my Visa check card a couple of days later when it still did not arrive. They refused to do this, instead, they wanted me to reorder the same items, pay for them again and ask my bank to dispute the original charge with Visa. I told them that I will not reorder, and I will not buy from them again. My emails had gone unanswered, I had to call on the phone and wait about 40 minutes for someone to pick up. I have filed a Visa dispute on this charge with my bank, on 3/22/2019. Whether or not I'll be refunded remains to be seen.

I do not wish to remain a member and have to pay the large sum requested each year in order to purchase from your company. The information I have says we were to get a notice previous to our billing which we did not get. I would appreciate the amount billed, $44.98, being removed from my VISA card. I do not like to get coupons instead of money returned as has happened in the past . I have never used enough coupons or 'Heartland Dollars' to repay me for my overpayment.

telemarketing scam
I received a call from a Heartland America representative on 09/28/17 that informed me that I had been overcharged from a previous order by $3.00 and that my credit card would be refunded. He went on to say that to apologize for this overcharge he would send me some Heartland dollars coupons. He made NO mention of their Value Club or nor did he ask if I wanted to join. My credit card was billed $29.99 for this Value Club on 10/02/17. After trying to contact their customer services three times by phone and wait times of 12-15 minutes, I gave up trying to contact them and called my credit card to reverse the charges. I was credited only $21.99, $8.00 short of the original illegal charge. I finally got in touch with their customer service and was told the missing $8.00 credit was for the difference in the Value Club price and the regular price of my order. I will never do business with them ever again. Oh and by the way the cost of the Value Club membership is listed as $19.99 on their website, not $29.99.
I have had exactly the same experience with Heartland America - regarding the telemarketing scam and no mention of being charged anything for anything. I have been trying to contact a representative and have been left 'on hold' for a total of over 45 minutes. When I called the 'Value Club Members Only' phone number a male rep picked up my call in about 90 seconds. When he realized I was unhappy with the bogus telephone call - not mentioning anything about my card being charged - he swiftly transferred me to another 'on hold' line. I have sent them an angry email and will be contacting my credit card company to cancel the $29.99 charges I never agreed to or knew about until today.
I wonder how many hundred - or thousands - of people have been scammed this way... SAD!

Ordered pink/white women's water shoes one month ago, just received a pair of black/gray men's shoes - - -totally useless to me. They charge you a $2.99 service fee when you place an order, now I have to pay another $2.99 to get a refund. Along with return shipping cost, I've spent $15 and have nothing to show for it. Something is really wrong with this company. I'll absolutely never order anything from them again.

Heartland catalog has a big free shipping sticker on the front page, when you read the details, of course excludes Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. So I ordered online a Magnetic Posture Corrector. The photo shows how it looks and fits and the different sizes available by waist size. I ordered large. When I got it, I tried it on and discovered the waistbelt was up to my chest, it was like a one size fits all, made in china, 19.99. So I filled out the return slip got charged 11.55 to return it. I thought returns were free, Haband and other companies us folks in Hawaii order from usually do. NOT HEARTLAND, also a 2.99 service charge both ways. So now for a peice of junk, made in China, didn't fit, Im' out 29.55 shipping for an item thats 19.99. I called and the receptionist who answered blamed me A. For not calling before I ordered B.Not reading the fine print C. Why didn't I compare it with other catalogs. I aked why don't they have a free shipping form for returnd items in the box, other companies DO. YES, ALL MY FAULT. A 29.95 LESSON TO NEVER EVER BUY FROM HEARTLAND AGAIN. Poorest customer service I've ever had. A warning to people of Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.

Purchase a metal detector, used twice, did not purchase long term warrently. Has quite working, when I called Heartland I talked to a supervisor(Matt). he explained to me they do not have a warrenty, service department or infomation for repair serivce. That they are a re-saler only and purchase from a jobber/supplier. He went as far as to compare it to Walmart, but the one thing about Walmart they do pretend to care. So I learned the age old saying of buyer beware, shop local and be able to look the guy in the eye you do business. There are many great internet business out there, Heartland is not one of them.

bad product
Purchased LED lights, set of 5, about 4 months ago. According to the catalog they last 10, 000+ hours, if used 3 hours per day. After about 3 months they started to flicker. Then they would go out then come back on. Finally they went out completely. When I contacted the company they said they only had a 30 day warranty. I reminded them of the ad saying they lasted thousands of hours. But instead of giving me an address to the company that made them so I could try to get a replacement, they just referred to the 30 day warranty. Will never buy from them again and telling everyone I know never to buy from them either.

Last summer I bought their MODEL: ABW-VC-65 Electric Power Washer. When it came I was sick and unable to use it. I kept it New In the Box and put it away. This Summer I'm feeling much better and wanted to use the New Power Washer I had bought last summer. I hooked everything up as the directions said. But when I tried to use it, the water came out as if you just turn the faucet barely on. I had the use my water hose to clean my deck ect. (my water hose had about 20 times the power of this power washer.) So if you buy something be sure to check it out right away, because you may get a dud like I did. I will not being buying from them any longer. Very Unhappy with Heartland Ameria.

Just an FYI.. all companies have a return policy. You would NOT be able to purchase an item at your local discount store such as Wal-Mart or Target and attempt to return it a full year after purchase. Companies need to be protected too. I am sure that Heartland America only has a certain amount of time to return their product to their vendors to get their money back. Lesson learned, when you buy something via mail order, check to be sure it works within the return policy! If you are unable to do so, as a friend or family member to do it for you!
non-delivery - fraud!
I ordered a DVD duplicator from a web ad. It was never delivered. When I received my Amex charge, I called Heartland and they said they would ship it out immediately. They stalled and stalled until more than 60 days had passed and now American Express refuses to open a dispute because it is "too late" and Heartland stalled me knowing the deadline would pass. They refuse to allow access to their President's office, will not take calls and demand that I write them. Letters are ignored. Do not buy from this company unless you want to be "taken"!
