customer service fraudulent billing
I cancelled my force factor subscription on 8/15/18 just would have rather used a different product They billed me a 29.99 fee and then credited my bank account back those funds I checked my bank on 8/21 and found a charge for 75 dollars I called and explained this to the customer service dept who told me that she would cancel my account but I was still going to be charged the 74.99 for my current shipment no help whatsoever I explained to her the entire process I went through to cancel and she still refused to refund my account dont deal with these people Nugenix is a better product with way way better customer service
Unauthorized credit card charges
"Force Factor" has been running a SCAM that allows people to order a free sample product and pay $4.99 for shipping and handling with a credit card. Somehow, Force Factor turns around and charges people's credit cards for products they had no ideas that they ordered or agreed to purchase. On November 02, 2015, I ordered a sample product online from Force Factor called VocaNO and was charged $4.99 for shipping. On November 17, 2015, my credit card was charged $74.98 for shipping me the same product which I had no clue was going to happen. I was shocked to discover these charges on my credit card, as they were not authorized in no way, shape, or form. I am a sound minded person. When I see a charge on my card, I know Who, What, When, Where, and How. I was very careful to peruse the entire website and terms before ordering the free sample. By all accounts, it did not state ordering the sample product meant subscribing to purchase the product, monthly, for $74.98. As a skeptical person, I was paying attention to not agree for nothing but the free sample. I even declined to opt any monthly subscription. I guess a swindler's job is to SCAM. All they want are credit cards numbers. The free sample product they offer is just a ruse to charge people's credit cards for products they did not even know about. Upon contacting the number [protected]) I saw with the credit card charges, I was told by agreeing to order the free sample I also agreed for the product to be sent to me every month and be charged for it. What's wrong with this picture? How does one get from agreeing for a free sample for $4.99 to be billed $74.98 two weeks later for a work out supplement. That's beyond unethical, that's simply FRAUD. In my opinion, the people behind Force Factor and associates are nothing but CROOKS and dirty THIEVES. The authorities need to obtain arrest warrants, raid their place of businesses, and lock them up.
DO NOT GIVE Force Factor YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!
Unauthorized Charge on my debit card.
I paid shipping and handling of $4.99 for a sample of Force Factor after I completed a survey on PandaResearch.com. Then this past Monday [protected] I found an unauthorized charge of $74.98 in my checking account from Force Factor, needless to say I was both shocked and mad. I called my bank and they said that I needed to call company that makes Force Factor which I did. The first two people I talked to hung up on me, the third time I called that lady said the they would only refund me 60 % of the total they charged and that I must send back the empty bottle that they were sending me before the balance would be credited back to me. I had ordered this sample for my son, since I am elderly and live on a fixed income and don't need this product. Now I have been charged over $70.00 in over draft fees by my bank which I can't pay and did not get my full refund back from Force Factor. As far as I am concerned Force Factor which is in Texas is a fraudulent company and steals money from people by charging their cards without being authorized. V. Smith

Test X180 - stole $84.95 from my bank accountI pid
I paid the $4.95 shipping for this "free sample" and then notified by my bank withdrawal of $84.95! I immediately contacted my debit card company to complain about the unauthorized withdrawal and was told me the charge was from Force factor. I immediately called FF to complain and they gave me a cancellation #. I got no refund but rcvd their package about 2 weeks later! I complained again and then found all the complaints and class action lawsuit info against Force Factor and GNC. These people are criminals, my doctor warned against product. Still trying to get my $ retuned. I still have the unopened package. I saw nothing on their website about any shipment or cancellation procedure, just $4.95 charge for the "Free" $4.95 sample...NOTHING about another shipment or charge!
Unauthorized Credit Card Charges
I ordered a trial pack of 26 tablets of Force Factor X180 tablets. I agreed to pay for the shipping only for this trial pack which was about $4.99. They did send me the trial pack promptly but have also gone ahead and charged my Credit card $100.24 cents which was totally unauthorized. I read the fine print and there was nothing that said they will automatically bill and re-order. Another internet and vitamin scammer. Beware stay away from this merchant. Change Creditcard numbers. I have moved to file formal complaints. Plain and simple this is a scamming venture, stay away!
This company is another rip off artist. I ordered the small trial bottle 99 cent shipping. They called me twice after that and I told both of them not to send anything else I was not ordering anything more. Today had to call Bank of America and file a dispute because they charged me $75.00 for their garbage without my permission or knowledge. I am contacting my State Attorney General these criminals need to be stopped.
Received an order that I did not order:
I am not sure what you read but the 2nd part of the terms reads:

unauthorized billing
I (stupidly) agreed to pay shipping for a "FREE SAMPLE" of X 180 from FORCE FACTOR. I find yesterday that my credit card has been billed $74.98 for a recurring
subscription for these vitamins. This is an unauthorized billing as I never agreed to any order other than the free sample which I paid the shipping on. I would have never done the free sample if I had known that I was being signed up for some continuous vitamin program. Purely a scam and it they should be made to stop this kind of credit card fraud. I will call them and send a letter telling them to no longer bill my cc for anything. I will also have my bank change my cc number as I feel that their record, after reading many complaints on line is unscrupulous enough that my cc info is now at further risk. Sickening to say the least!

billing of FCF TEST X180 6
I ordered a test size sample of ForceFactor X180 Ignite for $4.99 to try as I am an athlete. I received a sample but was unaware that there is small print (got this info from their customer service) which obligates you to automatically receive, at full price which is more expensive than can be ordered directly from GNC, monthly supplies of this product. I took it for three days; it smells vile and upset my stomach as well as gave me headaches so I threw it out. I noticed this morning there is a charge on my card for $84.98 which seems random comparing that to other complaints on this board and the fact that GNC offers it to members for $55.00. It took 25 minutes to talk to customer service. They have their lines rehearsed and tried talking me into keeping the product and shipping another free bottle and/or receiving a 60% refund immediately and keeping the product they shipped. What a scam this is! Further, they said I can return it at my expense and wait 6 weeks...yes you heard it right...6 weeks for a refund. I am reporting it to my bank and having them reverse the charges. I am also floored by the number of consumer complaints similar to my own. Very surprising that GNC continues to endorse and sell this product (they do not stock it but have Force Factor take over the shipping on this item).
I plan to report this to the California State Agency that regulates consumer online purchases. I thought this was illegal.

Fraudulent Debit
I ordered protein powder from this company and received an offer for a free trial. Little did I know that when I entered my payment information for the cost of the powder that they would automatically enter me into a subscription platform where they automatically rebill me $75 each month. I was never asked to authorize this nor was I ever notified of this subscription. I'm not even going to begin with the product itself, but buyer beware of this companies poor customer service problems. THEY WILL ONLY REFUND YOU THE ACTUAL PRODUCT PRICE> YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING COSTS----BOTH WAYS!

I tried a free trial for shipping cost only. I didn't see anything about there being an auto-ship program w/recurring charges. When I got the product I wasn't impressed and I noticed regular price was way to high for this supplement so decided not to re-order.Now I find a 74.98 charge on my card .I called the company and find out that I was put on an auto-ship program so I complained and cancelled. They asked why and I told them I thought they were way to high priced so they offered to drop the price to 1/2 price if I kept the auto-ship program in place. I told them no. How can they afford to drop price in half when you complain? It seems to me they are ripping off anyone and everyone that doesn't call in and complain. Pretty evil business practices!

Force Factor bill me $85 for a test sample I am on low in cannot afford this its a scam
Unauthorized Sales
Same story as everyone else: get a free sample, only pay for shipping, then got charged 74.98 a few weeks later without my permission.
Like many people, my iPhone is set up to alert me when there's activity on my account... In this case is was 3:22AM. I called Force Factor and of course, their offices were closed. No suprise there. masked men wearing all black charging peoples credit cards, but no on to talk to on the phone... (Evil truly does work in the dark.)
Once they opened at 9AM I called and the lady on the phone tried to ### me with a bunch of smart talk, claiming I didn't read the fine print and that she couldn't refund me because the order was already shipped at the wee hours of 4:AM.
When I told her I was going to dispute the charge with the bank she offered me another solution: Refund me 60% of my money (less shipping) and keep the product. Well I told her to kiss my ###- I closed that account, kept my money and when that bottle gets here, I'm keeping that too. You're not gonna con me out of $35 for a product I don't want nor authorized. Stay away from these scammers. Bad move GNC... Bad move.

Additional charge
25 days since I submitted my order for a free sample of Force Factor Test x180, they decided to charge 74.98 to my credit card. I have yet to attempt contacting the company or anyone about this, I have seen additional similar complaints on the web so I know it is not just a simple little mix up. I received the sample and the product was fine, I believe the company is trying to slip money from people through the cracks.
Contacted Force Factor at [protected], after about 5 minutes I was connected to someone. I was informed there was some "small print" that most people do not read, basically when you purchase the Test x180 sample, you automatically sign up for a program that supplies you with more Test x180 every month at prices of 74.98 a bottle...
I knew they basically had me in a dark place and I was not going to win, however I suppose by playing my cards somewhat right the person I was talking to agreed to credit me about $40.00 back and take me off the program... Saying if I wanted more I would just buy it from GNC. I should still be receiving the new bottle. Well, better then paying the full 74.98...

did not roder
I ordered a sample package then was placed on an monthly auto order (did not know this). I called the company and the man stated that it was in the terms & conditions section. Who reads that? A very dishonest company. I have to shipped the package back at my expense to debit my credit card. Also the company will not refund me for shipping either way. I will NEVER order anything from this company again. Also the invoice states the product can be purchase at GNC. I will go to the local store and try to file a complaint against this company.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Yeah, they got me too. The customer service agent wasn't rood, but he couldn't care less that I didn't order or even want the product. Contacted my credit card company and they said they should be able to get my money refunded. I offered to send back the unopened package at my cost.
It's definitely a scam. They hide the re-order information in the fine print hoping you won't notice it. I'm just mad at myself for not checking the internet first. If you put in the words "Force Factor scam" you get hundreds of results. They've evidently been pissing people off for years.
BTW, I had the same experience as the original poster. The pills made me physically ill. I don't know if it's safe to take these without a doctor's approval.
Just had the same thing happen today. I ordered a sample bottle and got the autoshipped product shortly afterwards. Also got the $74 + charge to my credit card this week. Am VERY unhappy and have reported it to the company. Will see what happens.
Customer Service rep was rude. I find it convenient that they do not offer an email address so that people can have written proof of cancellation. I will be sending back my auto ship as soon as it arrives as well as disputing the charge. I will also be looking for any other blog, complaint board, bob, etc... and going off on this company if another charge tries to sneak its way out of my bank account.
Bad business! Dishonest! Sneaky!
I have just gone through the same, Susan.
There are scams and then there are scams "designed to be legal". Force factor falls in the latter category, with details hidden in the small print which nobody reads.
I ordered a sample and received a small bottle of X180. Tried two tablet, which made me nauseous, so I discarded the bottle and assumed that was the end of it.
This morning I discovered a charge of $74.98 on my card and phoned the number on the charge, as I did not recognize having made the purchase. It was Force Factor who's representative basically told me "bad luck, it was in the small print". I asked to speak to a supervisor, who told me I was going to receive the goods anyway and had to return them to Force Factor to receive a refund.
I explained that sending goods out without a specific order notification was bad business practice and offering free samples with repeat orders hidden in the small print was akin to a scam. I also informed them I was letting this rest, only to be told that "I should be nice because they were going to give me my money back"
Disgusting.
We are so sorry if there has been any confusion! For questions or concerns, please contact us at [protected] to speak with a supervisor and we will sort out any issues immediately.
Thank You,

CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT
I just went through the same thing with them totaly missleading trial offer then when i call to cxl the guy on the phone offers to drop the price from $75 done to $50 if its that way why wouldnt they just charge $50 for their product i found a similar product for a third of the cost... thank you for charging my card $75 for nothing...Bowen B.
me too. I want to join the class action lawsuit.
The same thing happen to be. I ordered a sample for $3.99 and charged the $3.99 to my credit card. Several days later I received a 30 days supply and they charged $74.98 to my credit card. I refused the shipment and it was returned. I then called the credit card company and informed them that the item was not ordered and was refused. The $74.98 was taken off my statement.
This is a credit card scam and when you order a sample the shipments just keeps coming and the charges keep appearing on your credit card.
Don't be as stupid as I was and give them your credit card number.
i also ordered the free trial and cant even get anyone on the phone to cancel this I have been charged for two more bottles and they just go into the trash. If I cant trust this company for the way they do business, I sure as hell wont take the products they produce.
If there is a class action suit against Force Factor, I'd very much like to participate.
FORCE FACTOR raked me for $450
i had to fight with them intensively to get them to refund two of the 4 unopened un-asked-for shipments I did not know they were shipping and charging to me.
They screw everyone including those who cannot afford or are disabled and this is a high tech business.
I started taking their product anyway and it doesnt even work... it actually shuts off your sex drive and poisons you.
DO NOT INGEST OR TAKE
DO NOT BUY
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD OR YOU WILL BE SORRY

After 2 weeks the stuff was giving me erectile dysfunction and inhibiting erections
I bought the product online read the information and bought it. Noticed after 2 weeks the stuff was giving me erectile dysfunction and inhibiting erections. Never happened to me before. Once stopped taking it 3 days later everything went back to normal. When called the company and told them they said I couldnt return the product because I didnt buy it on auto-ship. There return policy is only for autoship people and if they dont open the bottle. The product says its a fat burner gives energy boost and enhance critical mind muscle connection during the workouts. This did not happen I felt no difference taking this stuff and was not aloud to get my money back. Make sure other men who read this dont take this because its detrimental to their health. Bad product unless you dont care about having difficulty getting aroused in front of the ladies.
Unethical; shady
I tried the 14 day trial. Before doing so, i noticed that they had some fine print at the bottom. I saw that i was "agreeing" to allow them to charge me $69. 99 + $4. 99 shipping per month after the trial was over. I paid $4. 99 for the shipping of the free trial. I cancelled the subscription within 18 days, per the "agreement".
I told the rep that the ingredients were identical to other products that were sold for much less and that i wanted to cancel. I expressed concern relating to the methods they used to trick some people into signing up for something, unintentionally. He ignored my comment and told me that i could get it for $49. 99 instead of $69. 99. I told him that i was going to find a product from a company that wasn't so greedy and shady. He told me "wait, you are eligible for our vip offer, we can offer you the product for life at $29. 99". I explained that it's clear that force factor is a shady company and i want nothing to do with the company. There are plenty of reputable companies interested in creating quality products, not scamming people out of their money.
If you like the product and aren't interested in a different product with the same ingredients, demand that you pay $29. 99. They clearly make so much profit that they will still profit heavily after reducing the price by about 57%. However, there are too many red flags with this company. If they charge my credit card, as they've done with so many others, i will file a small claims lawsuit against them for damages, send out several press releases making others aware of this company, and filing with the better business bureau. I hope they don't charge my credit card, for their sake.
I just got off the phone with customer service. We signed up for the trial. The disclosure claims you should receive your product within 4 days. We did not receive our sample until 9 days later. Ordered on May 22 and received it on June 1st. Called to cancel on June 11 . Got billed 74.98 on our credit card. Called up there and told them we had cancelled the order and rather than issue us a full refund, she told me she was going to make an exception (what a joke) and credit us 60 percent back and we could keep the product. Told her we did not want the product, and that we could get another brand with the same ingredients quite a bit cheaper. I also told her if she could refund us 60 percent back and let us keep the product, they must be making a killing selling the crap. She said no, they had to pay for shipping. I asked her if shipping cost $30 because the trial sample only cost $4.99. Well, that was the best she would do for us so I told her I would write a complaint on every complaint board I could find and file a complaint with BBB in hopes of warning others before they get scammed.
I just got ripped off I paid for a sample of $4.95 received it on the 16th of June and charged my Credit Card $120.000 which I did not authorize, contacted Consumer a Affairs in USA And contacted my bank in Melbourne Australia have to wait 6 Days to see if they deduct the money it's blocked at present sent them email saying going to the FRAUD SQUAD IN MELBOURNE VICTORIA THEY ARE THIEVES .

When I was trying to buy a sample of Force Factor Test X180, all it told me was that it would send me a payment for a dollar of shipping. It didn't tell me that you guys would charge me $80 monthly. WRITE THIS IN BIGGER WORDS. I need a return right now and would like my money back. This is a very serious issue and I am extremely unhappy with what you guys have done by writing this in fine print. Please send me my money back.
I was offered a testosterone supplement sample free plus postage of around £5. When I received my bank statement £55.08 had been taken, regrettably on a debit card. My statement says the charge was 89.98USD @ 1.633. Unfortunately I changed banks on 1.2.14 before I realised and Nationwide, my previous bankers, say they cannot appeal on a closed account. Force Factor's free trial is a RIP OFF. While the product may work the cost at the end is NOT worth it. Basically, you sign-up to receive a free bottle and you only pay for shipping & handling. Sounds pretty sweet right? That's what I thought. Fourteen days after you get your first free bottle, you'll be billed $74.99 because of their "Auto Ship" program. In short, Auto Ship means because they have your credit number they "assume" you want more of their product so they keep sending more of it and charging you monthly for it. When you call to tell them that you did not intend on ordering past the free bottle they ask "Did you read the Terms and Conditions?" Don't let this question make you feel stupid because the terms and conditions are hidden. You actually have to scroll very far down a page to find an obscure terms link. If you are fortunate enough to find this hidden link you will be led to a page that has about 7 pages of text written in 6 font. This page can best be described as a nightmare. There are 20 different terms and conditions that seem as long as the book of Genesis. Obviously, this is the companies way of billing people "legally" (yes I'm using this term in the loose and technical sense). When the bottle you never wanted arrives to your house, you have to mail it back using your own money to pay shipping and handling fees and they promise to provide a refund. I don't know if they will follow through on this promise but I'm DEFINITELY sending the bottle back and NEVER purchasing this product online. If you absolutely can't live without Force Factor my suggestion is to get it from your local GNC Store. I have lost total respect for Force Factor.

It should be illegal to hide some "terms" that will allow them to automatically ship you merchandise you never intended to purchase! So unethical - there should be some way to stop this abuse!
Caveat emptor - "Let the buyer beware." Yeah, I got "surprised" today when I picked up an autoshipped bottle of Force Factor from my P.O. box. I was fearful and annoyed as I drove home, but then I thought about what I had gotten myself into. They shipped me a "free trial sample" and asked for my credit card number. That should have been a red flag for me to look closer at the fine print. Oh, well. I forgive myself for not having the awareness at the time. So, I got the customer service phone number from the Force Factor website and called to cancel the autoship. I spoke with a nice woman by the name of Leila. I expected her to try to convince me to continue receiving the product via autoship, but what I didn't expect was the significant price drop. It went from $69.99 to $49.99 to $29.99 (plus $4.99 shipping). I like the product and was going to just get it locally from a GNC store anyway, but at that price, I elected to stay with the Force Factor autoship program. The moral of the story: Try not to take it personally. If you own your part, you can forgive yourself and be open to a solution that may pleasantly surprise you.
NO Refund
SCAM...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY...We got a free trial of force factor, did not tell us they enroll you in their monthly program to receive a bottle every month for $75... Are they crazy. These pills do not even work. When we received the first bottle the first month, thats how I found out they tricked you. So, I sent the package back with the number on it they requested... Been over a month and still no refund. They said they never received the package back.. Right. I will be emailing every complaint board, etc. on the internet about this company everyday. This is a SCAM...

@ scout It's still a trick I DID cancel right away when I ordered it and still it charged me card 74 bucks! Instead of dealing with you folks and calling the number over and over again I will call my bank and have the charge removed as unauthorized and let them deal with you. I explicitly said NO AUTO SHIPMENT. I knew it wasn't really free and I authorized the 4.95 for shipping but still got charged the 74 bucks, and no it does not work, it's not just a scam it's dishonest. I did the same thing with an ACAI berry supplement but the did nit try and send me more of the product without my authorization!
I didnt recieve a package and they tell me to wait for it and it will come, it didnt. then they charge me the next month and i call to cancel and they wont refund the one i didnt recieve because of their 30 day money back crap. It was the 30th day. I will never use this product ever again due to the fact that most of the people i talk to seem shady and they dont want to help.

The phone at their store must be off the hook. Busy signal on over 100 trys dialing [protected] to call and cancell order. That is the scam, you only have a phone number that they do not answer, so they send the next shipment and charge you more than you can buy the product at other outlets. Back to the phone for more calls and then to report deceptive offer.
