Forest River Wolfpack toyhauler
we purchased a new 2021 Wolfpack 1 year ago and we have been waiting for parts through Camping World. the last remaining warranty part is a window and screen. we keep getting told by Camping World that the parts are on order and keep getting told that the parts will be here on a specific date yet that date keeps getting pushed back a month at a time. Does anyone care about customer service! i only wish we would have read the Forest River reviews prior to making out purchase. we would have made an alternate choice for our needs! Forest River will never have our business again!
Desired outcome: get this window issue resolved. a year is way too long.
2018 Forest River Crusader Camp trailer
The top gel (clear) coat is peeling off the top front of our trailer and it is still under the 5 year warranty. The business we purchased our trailer from closed down their business. We would like to proceed in getting it repainted. We have only had it for 4 years and we are being told the top coat may have been a bad batch. Thank you for all you can do to help us.
Desired outcome: Repair

2022 Sabre 38DBQ
We purchased a 2022 Sabre 38DBQ in February of 2022. We have had several issues come up in the 6 months we have owned it. We have found random screws laying around. Not sure where they came from. The sliding barn doors have fallen off because the tracks have fallen off. The hardware holding the doors up on the track have fallen off and the screws would not go back in. The frame around the shower is coming off. There have been several pieces of trim that have come loose. One of the shades fell off and now we can’t get it to go up or down. While trying to use to open the awning the arm bent and now it will not fully go in and we can’t use it. The numbers on the Stove handles came off and couldn’t see what temp you are cooking at. Both air conditioners do not work correctly. It took us over a month to get someone to respond to us only to be told that we would need to get an estimate at our cost and send it and photos to the company for them TO DECIDE if it is covered under the warranty. When I asked why anything needed to come out of our pocket as we haven’t had it, but 6 months and we bought it NEW they told me it was company policy. The craftmanship is horrible and they don’t seem to want to stand behind it. I will never buy a Forest River product again and will tell all friends and family not to as well. With the amount of money spent getting the camper you should expect better quality and customer service
2022 Forest RIV Salem FSX TRL TRVL
My husband bought a Toy Hauler in January 2022 and within using it three times the entire floor was sinking in. My husband had to put wood across the floor in order to even put our bike in it to get back home. They came to "Fix it." and had it for over two months. When we got it back it was just the same as it was when it first happened. So not only was our entire summer ruined and trips canceled, the camper is still not usable to haul a bike. Again this was bought new in Jan. 2022. This all happened within two months of having it. They reported that they cut an area out of the entire floor and replaced that area. The company we bought it from took pictures and videos and they were sent to the factory that built it.
The last 8 are NY010634
Desired outcome: We would like our money back or a new toy hauler.
Forest River/Sandpiper RV- Commander Board -383RBLOK- Serial # SAJ038836
To Whom It may Concern:
Hello my name is Kelly Green, my husband is Brian Green- We have a camper that was taken to Jamatt Camping World in Poteau, OK last July/Aug 2021 for a RECALL item that had to do with the Commander Board.
At the time we were contacted about needing to take it in due to this recall everything was working perfectly fine. Every since we picked it back up it has not worked. It would work from time to time for a few minutes, now it does not work at all. We were told to download the APP and run it from there. We did that and no changes. It is obviously the same problem now.
We took it back to JAMATT on July 25, 2022 and NOTHING has been done yet. Now when I say nothing has been done, it's because we cannot get anyone from Forest River or Sandpiper to return your calls. To us or to JAMATT Camping World. You can see below the work order that came from Joshua Hasley at Jamatt Rv due to he said they cannot get anyone to return their calls as well. This was a warranty item from a RECALL and needs to be approved.
That's all we are asking. We have had to cancel several weekends of Vacation due to the faulty products. We paid very good money for our campus and can't even use it.
Before us taking the RV back to JAMATT my husband contacted Forest River and actually got someone the 1st time, she ask him to remove the cover to get the numbers from it and give here a call back. He did just that within minutes and has NEVER been able to reach anyone since. They have now told him that it's not Forest River problem, its Sandpiper. When you call Sandpiper they say no it Forest River. This is rediculous. An email was also sent that produced some kind of complaint # because one guy said he could see that. But no answers since then.
I am please hoping you can get us some help. I really don't want to have to involve a lawyer, but would just love to enjoy our products purchased.
Please feel free to contact my husband or myself

Sincerely,

Desired outcome: To just have the commander board replaced. Simple, it was a recalled item before and still doesn't work.
Sabre 5th wheel
Our 2019 has a structural crack that went inside and outside randomly. Talking with insurance and multiple service dealerships it’s a manufacturer issue. After some research the structural cracks by slide outs are common issue with Forest River. They used to cover this regardless of who the owner was but now they state it’s not covered unless you are the original owner. This will cost $5-7K + 3 weeks without our home. I will never recommend them to anyone. So much unnecessary cost & stress. Cannot wait to get rid of this camper & get one with a brand that treats its customers well.
Desired outcome: I’d appreciate having this taken care on behalf of Forest River as this is a structural KNOWN issue to your campers.
Master toilet air lock problem
My wife and I purchased a 2020, Wildwood Heritage Glen Elite Series fifth wheel travel trailer new. Towards the end of the first trip out with it, the master bath toilet started pushing air back out towards us, when flushing, making it very hard to flush, and causing sewer odor to fill the camper. The problem seemed to clear itself up, then return, going back and forth until the warranty was almost up on it. Since there were a few other issues, including a lighting problem in the wiring, we decided to take the camper to a Forest River Camper Dealer for repairs. They kept our camper for a little over 5 months. When we got it back, the wiring problem was not resolved, so I repaired that myself...I'm an ex electrician by trade. They also did not repair the toilet issue, and this has got be solved! It seems like a venting problem to me, and they did say that they "made an adjustment to the vent pipe on the roof". This did not solve the problem. I am wondering if others have had this same problem, and if so there should be solution to this. I am pretty handy with making plumbing repairs, as I have been around building trades most of my adult life. If someone from Forest River could please let me know if there is a fix for this issue, and tell me what to do, I am sure that I could repair it myself. I just need a place to start.
Desired outcome: Please respond ASAP with a resolution. I am willing to work with a company rep, to resolve this problem. Or if they could put me in touch with a Forest River Repair Mechanic, who could help me resolve this, that would be fine also.
Coleman-Mach rooftop A/C on 2022 Flagstaff MAC 206 LTD
I purchased a 2022 Flagstaff MAC 206 LTD from Campers Inn in Macon, GA on May 7, 2022. On my 3rd camping trip with it (2nd away from home), the Coleman-Mach rooftop A/C stopped blowing cold air. On June 9th, I was able to take the unit to a local RV dealership that is authorized to do Forest River warranty work and they worked with Airxcel to determine that the A/C requires replacement. The paperwork authorizing the replacement was submitted and approved on 6/17/2022. The only status since then that has been received is that there is no expected date of shipment. I am not a customer that buys an RV to keep it in my garage and not use it, but I live in SE Georgia and cannot camp in the heat of summer without A/C. It is extremely frustrating to have a camper sitting in my garage that I cannot use and be forced to cancel trips I had planned while watching my limited warranty on the whole unit waste away without it being used.
Desired outcome: New A/C shipped to the service center immediately
My 2020 XLR Boost has been in the shop since Dec. 7th 2021
We bought our 2020 XLR boost on 9/3/2020 from National RV Detroit used it for a month camping had some issues with it took it back to National RV Detroit to be fixed over the winter didn't get the camper back until May 2021, used it for most of the summer slide out in bedroom stopped working and the shower surround cracked and a few other things again that needed to be fixed. Took the camper back to National RV Dec. 7th of 2021 the shower surround was approved in January was waiting on approval for the slide out. Well we are now at the end of July 2022 and still don't have my camper. They have had it all summer we are making payments on a camper that we are not using because the shower surround had been ordered twice and Forest River didn't have the correct shower surround model number for ours. On the 3rd time they finally figured out what one was ours and now we are waiting for it to be shipped again. We have called Forest River ourselves 6 times and no one will return our call. I don't know which one dropped the ball on this it was approved in January and parts not ordered until June. I need the camper now because we have had plans for our MIS race in August. The dealer has said we can use it but they are an hour and half away from our house and we have a diesel truck and making 4 trips. This thing has been a lemon since we had it, wish I had my 2004 back had no problems with it.
Desired outcome: Forest River can deliver the shower surround themselves to National RV Detroit, they are in Indiana ONE DAY SHIPPING!

2022 Georgetown GT3
I purchased a New 2022 Georgetown GT3 on June 24, 2022, at Camping World. On June 26, 2022, I returned the RV to Camping World due to a significant roof leak. The dealership indicated that it was the window and put a plastic wrap over the window. The waterfall of water into the RV continued. Fast forward to July 11, 2022, I met with the GM at Camping World to discuss repairs and significant damage to the unit since they did not schedule the repair or try to stop the leak. On July 12, 2022, the GM submitted a warranty claim (again 19 days later) to include 34 workorder items of damage and needed repairs which do not include the unknown water damage. For 19 days, it has rained 9 times with water flowing into the RV like a waterfall. Since there is a lack of priority, importance, or expedite the repairs, Camping World wiped its hands on the issue and pushed it onto Forest River Warranty. I told the GM - I want a refund or a New GT3, since mold and other significant unknown issues and lack of expedited repairs were not completed.
Forest River Warranty called me yesterday, July 13, 2022, to discuss the issues and indicated he could only give me the option of having it brought, i.e me drive it (never happening) or schedule a pick-up (driven with more mileage) to Forest River's Repair Center in Indiana. I told the representative that absolutely not. 19 days with known issues at an authorized dealer, the issues were always there from the factory. Camping World accepted the delivery of the unit 2 months ago, so this RV has been collecting water for almost three months, not including the time it spent in transit. Two days after I signed the papers, your authorized dealer was aware of all 34 issues including the water. I will only accept a new RV from Forest River or a full refund from Camping World. The representative indicated that he could not make that decision and needed to talk to his manager.
Apparently the Forest River Warranty Manager called me today, extremely rude. Indicated I had only 1 option which included bringing my RV from VA to Indiana for repairs. I could drive it myself or they may be able to get it transported (stilling driving) in a couple of weeks to the Indiana Service Center for repair. Camping World has already said they are not touching it which includes repairing it. Apparently, the Manager does not think that putting more miles on the RV will not depreciate the value because he said I can sell it when Forest River is done repairing. Hmm... ok Forest River sell it!
This is absolutely unacceptable. I purchased a new, not lightly used, RV 19 days ago and the Forest River Warranty Department seems to think that I have the time and desire to drive an RV that already has mold in it 400 plus miles so their service center so they can fix it. The Warranty Manager indicated he does not know how long it will take your service center to fix all repairs. Well, there goes all our scheduled family vacations for the year. How do you think a customer of a new RV should take these events?
Quoting from the letter I received from Forest River on July 12, 2022. The letter was dated July 5, 2022, "Your Motorhome is designed and built for reliability and durability." to continue stating that "We (Forest River) request you contact us directly should you have questions regarding product concerns impairing use, value or safety of your coach that are not being addressed...timely notification allows us the opportunity to expedite your service experience and avoid unnecessary absences in the use and availability of your coach."
Please contact me for a copy of the workorder and photo's there to many to upload. Forest River and Camping World also has copies
Desired outcome: At this point a full refund. I am not impressed with Forest River and lack of service.
2021 Spirit Ultra Lite 3379BH
I purchased a brand new Forest River, Inc RV from Economy RVs on 6/23/2020. The camper bunkhouse slide has leaked from day 1. It was picked up from Economy RVs in Mechanicsville, MD on and they had it from November 2021 to April 2022 and when I got it back the leak was far worse the next day when it rained, there’s just water everywhere when it rains, the electric outlets don’t work the AC is having issues now, you can’t hear the TV when the AC does work. I paid $40,000 for a lemon. I’ve already paid $2800 for my spot this year and can’t use the camper because nothing works and it leaks so bad and the leakage is only getting worse over the past 2 years. It has a hole in the camper that has never been fixed that cause the kitchen to leak by the cabinets. I cannot afford to take the risk of this camper having mold too with my health issues. No consumer wants a Camper that has leaked for two years.
Desired outcome: Replace camper.
2018 Forest River Sabre Rot and Water Damage
Bought my rv 11/2020 used.
September 2021 built canopy over RV, 4/2022 water damage in kitchen, midbunk room, and bedroom bumpout.
$4100 quoted in JUST LABOR to replace floor in bedroom...$5500 in bunk room this does not include ANY PARTS.
$400 each to replace 2 bumpout gaskets, and $1500 to scrape and replace RV roof.
6/2021 BOTH air conditioners died within 2 days of each other.
Desired outcome: This RV is 5 years old and falling apart.Manufacturer needs to own up to shoddy craftsmanship and fix these issues.
Slide Out Base Collapsing
We have a 2019 Silverback 5th Wheel. We took possession of this rig on 12/27/2019 from Mnt. Comfort RV in Indiana. Because it was winter where we live and we could not use our 'new' RV, we put it into storage until 4/2020. Once leveled & set-up, we were enjoying our 'new' RV:
*Problem #1: we heard water running & then saw water running out from under the refrigerator across the floor. Upon pulling out the refrigerator, we found that the water line for the ice maker was never attached properly. It was even finger tightened. We fixed ourselves.
*Problem #2: it appeared that an old invertor was installed in our RV. Upon complaint & pictures sent to Mnt. Comfort, they denied such a thing could happen & rejected our issue. We just dealt with it. We are 7 hours from Mnt. Comfort & it wasn't exactly convenient to 'return' the unit.
Then do to COVID, IDPH shut our campground down and we were not allowed to use our RV & campground until 6/2020.
*Problem #3: The apron going around the RV was never screwed to supports-i.d. 6/2020. Again, just dealt with it.
*Problem #3: The ceiling fan switch doesn't do anything. - i.d. - 6/2020. Just using the pull chain to manage.
*Problem #4: Fireplace is not blowing out hot air & we get an E3 error code. - i.d. 6/2022. Haven't figured out this issue yet. Would like resolution.
*Problem #5: Major issue that Forest River is not standing behind! After a 2 week hiatus from being at our camper, we arrive for a long 4th of July weekend. Here we find that on the front slide out for the master bedroom, that the trim had released, the underneath of the bump out is giving away, the plywood is separated & rotting. We sent pictures; however, we were then told it was do to poor maintenance on our part because based on the pictures we sent they can tell that there was lack of sealant and water got in and caused damage. With it being a 2019 unit it is out of the factory warranty with this Forest River declines participation.
First of all, upon possession and opening up our RV in 4/2020, the seals were lubricated and maintained as directed. And continued to be. If that was the case the other slide outs would have issues to.
Secondly, the RV is stored during the winter months under cover from October-April and it's impossible to do sealing when in storage.
Lastly, how can pictures definitively identify that it was do lack of maintenance on the seals?
Desired outcome: All issues addressed & fixed immediately.
Shelf collapsed in closet
We have a 2022 Cedar Creek 388WDM. We were on our first trip, only about an hour away, and the walk in closet in the front bathroom collapsed. We had very little on the top of the shelf and not too much hanging on the clothes rod. When we got to our campsite my wife went inside after I had connected the shore power and opened the slideouts. She was getting things reorganized (we pack things from the kitchen counters, etc. into containers for the ride) and opened the closet door and screamed. I heard it outside on the back side of the trailer while connecting the water and immediately dropped what I was doing and ran inside! She was crying hysterically because of this!
Desired outcome: Please increase the quality of this shelf for future customers. This closet was a huge selling point for my wife, I am sure it will be for other customers as well. It won't take much to make it much stronger, and the cost will be minimum.
We have a 2018 cherokee gray wolf fifth wheel and need parts
On a trip from dallas we had a blow out on both sides of the camper that damaged both sides of the unit, we turned it end to be repaired. The place we are having it repaired cannot get the parts! I called forest river with the order no. And I was told we could not get the metal skirting part's that is needed for about six months. When I asked if they would try and find the missing part's he said he could not help!, surly forest river has more contacts to find the parts than I would, your reprehensive had no empathy that I would my rv for six months. My only response is it does not say much for good customer service or maybe you just don't care.
Desired outcome: I don't want to wait that long and not get the parts needed. please resolve quickly !!! thanks.
Island counter peeling
2021 Salem Grand Villa 42fkdl put away last winter when we opened it up the Island countertop is pealing. Contacted Camping World who sold us unit they filed a claim and was told this was denied due to it look like something hot put on it. Nothing hot was put on it and it is wrinkling in another spot 4 inches away.
Also after a rain storm the awning failed to auto drop causing it to bend and tear away costing me $1.500.00 because warranty was denied because it was open during the rain storm.
Desired outcome: Would like counter fixed
Wildwood 27RE
We bought this camper in February 2022 it is now June 20 2022. This is a list of problems we’ve had since purchasing the camper. The shower stall wall came loose and is still not fixed right. The rock guard is buckled and is still not fixed it is still buckled and is not attached in some places. We had no hot water because we were suppose to have an outdoor shower( which we don’t have) so the lines were routed all wrong. This has since been fixed but we do not have an outdoor shower. We have issues with both slides. The one where the kitchen is does not open all the way and the one where the dinette is not sliding in right and has scratched the linoleum floor. On the outside of the slides the walls are bubbled up.
Desired outcome: I hope that the owners of forest river will step up to make everything right
