FromYouFlowers.com bad service all the way around

My mother lost her sister, mother, and brother all in the past six months. So to cheer my mom and Aunt up before Thanksgiving, I sent them flowers. I don't know why I decided to use a different webiste other than my usual 1-800flowers.com but I did. I got stiffed.

After searching for a while I finally placed my order for flowers that only cost $19.99. As long as it's in the same time zone and blah, blah, blah the delivery is free. I get to the last page of the order and see that they charge $2.99 for same day delivery AND $12.99 delivery charge. So flowers that I thought were going to be $20 finally cost me $35.97 - times 2. I got frustrated and searched around again but found other websites that charged delivery also. I finally said the heck with it and placed the order because it was still up and all I had to do is hit the confirm button.

I wondered all day as to why my mom and Aunt didn't call and say thank you but I figured they were busy. Thursday morning my Aunt called to say thank you. She got them at 9 am that day. I was fuming.

I went to Thanksgiving dinner and asked my mom and she didn't get anything. Friday I stopped over her house and still no flowers. I go home and call fromyouflowers.com and complained about my Aunt receiving hers on Thanksgiving. If they couldn't deliver them on Wednesday they should have called me know and I could have asked them to deliver it on Friday and refund my $2.99 fee. They weren't flowers for Thanksgiving, they were flowers to cheer them up and let them know that they are not alone. I went back and forth with them on the phone and she said that she will take off 20%. Feeling frustrated over that I just said okay.

Friday - For my mom's flowers though, a totally different story. When I told them about her not receiving her flowers the girl actually said "did you check to make sure that she didn't get the flowers yet?" Normally I'm a calm person but that did it. I started yelling "I saw her on Thanksgiving and I was over there today! There are no flowers there! If someone sent you flowers, wouldn't you automatically call them and say thank you?" She put me on hold again. Turns out I called at 7:10 pm and the florist just closed. She then said "If there is a question of whether or not she received the flowers, we can send another delivery tomorrow." OMG! I yelled at her "There is NO question of whether or not she received them! She didn't! And I certainly don't want you people doing anything else for me again. I want all my money back!"

Saturday - she was supposed to call me. At 3 pm I call and got a third person. I was told that the flowers were delivered at 9 am Friday morning and the delivery guy woke her up and she said how beautiful the flowers were. She then signed for them. (YES!) Obviously they were sent to someone else if at all.

Now I am at the point of waiting for the florist (which they will not let you know the name of) to fax to them the signature to verify it. I am still waiting for the 20% refund also for my Aunt's flowers.

I'll let you know how it turns out. But PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR FLOWERS!

FromYouFlowers.com fees and service changes excessive - buy local instead

I was attempting to make a purchase via the website, which was overall a good web experience. When it came to the final steps of selecting shipping charges and then payment, I was also pleased to see PayPal offered.

My complaint was that I did not see any mention of the $12.99 "service charge" until the absolute last step in the process, which caused me to abandon the ordering process and order locally instead (free florist lookup via Google) and a quick inexpensive call.

Funny thing, though, the company sent out this followup email:

Dear Customer,

We were so sorry to see you leave our site a few minutes ago. If you come back now
we will be waiving the $12.99 Service Fee on any order that you place*! From You
Flowers offers Same Day Delivery anywhere in the US when your order is placed
before 3pm in the recipient's time zone!

I was not really surprised that they knew the reason I abandoned the order-- maybe they should stop and think about fixing that issue instead.

Never ever order from this company! More than likely the flowers you order will not be received and you will probably not be refunded the money you paid by credit card. So sad that honest people can be cheated and treated this way. Just remember: what goes around, comes around. Thiws is a horrible, dishonest business!

I, too had a extremely bad experience with FYF. I ordered birthday flowers for my daughter at work. Her sift ended at 2:00pm, so I paid the extra fee to have them delivered by noon. At 2:30 they hadn't been delivered. I called and was advised that they needed to contact the florist. They emailed back and said the flowers had been delivered. My daughter did not get a phone call from her company. I called customer service. to inquire where the flowers were. They indicated they had been delivered. I told them how unhappy I was and they refunded the expedited fee. I called my daughter's place of employment and was told that the flowers were not delivered because she wasn't there to received them. The delivery guy stormed out when learning she wasn't there.. (I wonder why she had to be there to have them delivered?) I called customer service and asked if I could pick the flowers up, but they wouldn't tell me who the florist was. After negotiation they called the florist. They were putting "extra flowers" in the arrangement to make up for the lack of service. They were in another city and would have taken me 45 mins both ways to get them. I asked that the order be canceled. They said they would deliver them the next day. I advised it was too late. I have yet to see the refund, though I was sent a 15.00 gift card. I let them know that I didn't want the card, and that they should use the cash to shore up their business practice/processes. Absolutely, hands down the worst customer experience I have had in a long while. I have not yet seen the refund on my account.

After 800Flowers.com began getting more expensive - and their website harder to maneuver - I discovered that FromYouFlowers.com was a breath of fresh air...however; they eventually began a devious routine that is explained by 17th of Apr, 2010 by Bill650 in the complaint at the top of this page. I ran into the same problem with them; the shipping and/or handling charges were transparent for months and then they just disappeared - only to suddenly appear after you arranged for payment with PayPal and just before your final OK of the purchase. The is very poor/devious practice and I for one will not accept it and will not buy from them until I know the shipping/handling charges well ahead of PayPal... I hope a Facebook user will post this problem - eventually they may change there website.

Horrible company. They promised same day delivery if placed by 3 PM and i placed orders at 9 AM. Only to get a call in the afternoon that neither order will arrive on time for Christmas and now it is too late to find a reputable florist in either town.

One employee Rachel L. was a very irrogant employee. Definately not ok and I will never come here again. Why get a jib if you dont know how to do it. it is because of her that i will never buy flowers there again. I will also be telling everyone to never come here if she is not fired. She is a bad employee and makes the comaapny look bad.

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM FROMYOUFLOWERS.COM. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I HAD AN ORDER THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE DELIVERED ON THURSDAY MORNING BEFORE 12PM AND I PAID EXTRA. CALLED THEM THAT DAY AT 10A AND WAS TOLD THAT MY FLOWERS WOULD BE DELIVERED BEFORE 12PM. CALLED THEM AGAIN AT 12:15PM, FLOWERS HAD NOT BEEN DELIVERED, NOR DID THEY EVEN HAD A FLORIST LINED UP TO SEND THE FLOWERS OUT. THEY SAID THE FLOWERS WOULD BE DELIVERED BY 5PM AT THE END OF THE DAY AND I TOLD THEM TO CHANGE THE ORDER TO BE SENT OUT ON FRIDAY MORNING BEFORE 12PM. CALLED AGAIN ON FRIDAY AT 11AM, NO ONE KNEW THE STATUS OF THE ORDER. I CALLED BACK AT 12PM, ORDER STILL HADN'T BEEN DELIVERED. NOW IT'S 3PM AND NO ONE KNOWS WHEN THE ORDER IS GOING TO BE DELIVERED. LOTS OF TIME WAS WASTED CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I SPOKE TO OVER 10 DIFFERENT PEOPLE WITH 10 DIFFERENT ANSWERS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND GO THRU ALL THE STRESS THAT I DID. BETTER OFF WITH 1-800-FLOWERS OR A NATIONAL NAME BRAND COMPANY.

I have received no delivery of flowers.
Several attempts at receiving a refund from From You Flowers have been to no avail.
I ordered them to be delivered one day prior to my mother's birthday.
I was notified hours later that the delivery could not be made that day though their website and ordering said I could and took an extra fee for that Same Day delivery.
I was told they could be delivered on Monday, one day after the birthday with a note of apology and an upgrade to the bouquet.
Flowers did not come. I called again and was told that they would have to investigate and call me back, the same thing I was told the day before but received no call as I was promised.
Recommended by CNBC according to their site, if they only knew.

THIS IS NOT a floral company. They are nothing more than an order gatherer or phone bank that is going to pass your order to a real florist in the neighborhood. For the priviledge of doing so they keep 20 percent of the order total. You will be paying 100 dollars for a 65 dollar arrangement after all is done and everyone getting their cut.

Order online only if the company provides a physical adress on the home page of their site. And even then you will probably be going through one of the wire service hosted sites that the florist uses and they will keep about 10 percent or more. Use the phone if you can

FromYouFlowers.com phony same day guarantee

I should have continued to order from my normal florist but I foolishly thought I'd give a new company, From You Flowers, a try since they'd sent me a coupon via email. I placed my order at 8:30 am for same day delivery and even expedited the order so that the flowers could arrive within in four hours (that costs $4.99).

When I realized the flowers were not delivered four hours later, I called the company which apologized and said that the florist was still "working on the flowers". This was almost 1pm. Sometime after 3pm, someone called me from the company to say that the flowers would not be delivered at all. WHAT!? She asked if it was okay if the flowers got delivered the next day. No! Why would I pay extra for same day delivery ($2.99) and expedited delivery ($4.99) if sending belated birthday flowers to someone was okay?! I was completely enraged and could not believe my misfortune with this unprofessional organization that could not even offer a decent suggestion to make up for my inconvenience. As you can see below, the company parades a "same day guarantee" but it simply means nothing. The only thing that I got over this deal was my measely refund for the overpriced $60 flowers that I attempted to purchase. I will never work with this company ever again and I would recommend that you stay away too if your loved ones special occasions are important to you.

The florist who will be delivering the item is getting nothing extra for delivering the flowers. This company pockets the expedite and same day delivery fee. They have no control over when an item will be delivered. If it is Sunday, they have to find a florist that is open and delivering, otherwise they will take your fees, have it delivered on Monday and hope for the best. But now they have your money.

FromYouFlowers.com horrible service

I ordered Flowers from this half [protected]@# company for mothers day.
I ordered them on a Thursday to have them delivered on Friday. No Flowers! I got an email stating that they couldn't find a florist and they would upgrade the order. They ungraded it alright, and they charged me twice. It is now Monday and no mothers day flowers!
I called again and they had no idea where the flowers were.
Do Not do business with this company. Bad day or not, they fumbled on trying to win me back.

Today is May 12, 2018...
I ordered Mothers day flowers several days ago and paid the $2.99 extra fee to have them delivered early so they would not get caught up in all the other Mothers Day orders they processing. I got an email notice that the flowers were delivered on the day they were supposed to be delivered, the only problem is that they were NEVER DELIVERED. My efforts to contact customer service by phone have proven futile. And my efforts to get some answers and to cancel the order via email with them have also proven to be a total joke. If you plan to order flowers order them from a florist directly. This is the worse mistake I have ever experienced on something so simple as to have some flowers sent.
They really are bad. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS ...

I orderred some flowers at the last minute from this company and orderred red gerbera daiseys in a waterring can container. They had a disclaimer about substituting like for like if needed for mother's day. Whet they delivered was a cheap arrangement of yellow daiseys in a vase-cut flowers. I spent an hour on the phone with them-being hung up on twice-trying to get the correct flowers delivered. They actually thought it was ok to deliver substandard flowers and hide behind the substitution disclaimer. They were condescending and difficult to deal with. I got the impression I should be happy my mother in law got anything at all. I paid 60.00 for the plant and they deliverred about 20.00 of flowers. The agreement was that they pick up the arrangement and get her what she wanted that was comperable to what I paid for. That was 5/11/11. They have done nothing. This is the worst florist I have ever delt with. Greedy liars is putting it mildly. When I find out which florist delivered the flowers I will file a complaint on them also. This made mother's day a truly unhappy day. If I had wanted yellow daiseys that what I would have orderred.

On Thursday, May 5, 2011 I ordered a Mother's Day arrangement to be delivered on Saturday, May 7, 2011 to the home of my brother in Florida, where my Mom was staying. Saturday came and went without delivery, of which I was informed of by my brother late Saturday night. Again, no delivery of the flowers the next day, on Mother's Day. So I emailed "From You Flowers" about 4:30 PM and asked for an explanation and a refund. About 11PM that night I received an email saying my order had been delivered. I contacted my brother the next morning (today, Monday May 9, 2011) asking him whether he got the flowers and he said they had left it in the middle of the night by the front door. He went to bed around 11PM and they were not there at that time. Of course, Mother's day had come and gone and so had my mother, who never got her flowers as ordered. I called to complain and asked for a refund, and was told that since there was a delivery, no refund was permitted. They offered me a $15 gift certificate, which I declined since I won't be using their service again. There are enough other services out there that get the job done, so would avoid this one at all costs.

They make promises they can't keep. I called around noon on a Sunday (a good 2+ hours before the same-day-delivery orders stopped being taken) specifically voicing my concerns about the order going out and getting to the person intended that same day. The gentleman on the phone ASSURED me that there would be no problems whatsoever. I explained that if the order did not go today, it was pointless. Again, he INSISTED that there was no problem. Believing him, I ordered with From You Flowers and QUIT LOOKING AT OTHER FLORISTS. 1 1/2 hours later, a very nice woman called me back, deeply apologizing saying they were unable to deliver my order that same day and offered to have it delivered the next. I informed her, as I had the gentleman who took the order, that next-day delivery was not acceptable. She apologized again. Though I feel bad for her since this was clearly not her fault and she apparently had tried for the past 1 1/2 to rectify the situation, the poor woman had no options available to her and now, neither did I. It was CLEARLY TOO LATE to call any other florists who promised same day delivery, since it was past the time such orders are taken. So, sadly, since I trusted From You Flowers' promise, I was unable to get anything delivered. I am most disgusted with the fact that I ABSOLUTELY voiced my concerns at the beginning and was assured not once, but twice that everything would be taken care of. Then to find out not only were they unable to fulfill their promise, but it also cost me the ability to find someone who could provide me the service...truly unacceptable.

I want to be very clear that the people I spoke to were both very nice and I have no issue with them. They are just powerless to be able to fulfill their employers' guarantees.

BEWARE! This company does not ship what you see on the website!

I ordered the Florist Designed Sympathy Plant for my neighbor's funeral. I upgraded from the regular plants to the "Deluxe" which is listed for $44.99 plus shipping. During the funeral, I happened to see my order sitting on their piano. I was so embarrassed. It consisted of three emaciated plants which did not come CLOSE to filling out the basket or even nearing the handle of the basket. Are you kidding me?! I immediately called customer service and they offered me 15% off a future order. I will NEVER order from them again so I refused this. They put me on hold and then offered a measly $10 off my order. I think this is borderline fraud. They have contracts with local florists. Apparently the local florists can put whatever they want to get rid of in your order and hope you will never see what was delivered! Usually I ship out of state so this has probably happened to me before.
You are throwing away your money if you order from this site...

Ordered flowers for same-day service before the cut-off time and no flowers came. 2 emails were never responded to, although the site stated that, "they would try everything to respond within an hour." The flowers finally came at 4pm the next day. So I called and was put on hold 4 times before they refunded me 3 bucks. What a crock..

The website says, "satisfactions guaranteed" BOGUS BOGUS BOGUS

Never seen a company lie so much and care so little!

Don't waste your money here!
