bait and switch flower arrangement
For Mothers day "From You Flowers" showed a Bouquet of Lilies and Roses at a "discount Price" but what was delivered was a Bouquet of all Carnations. Carnations are the cheapest of flowers?. I requested a Happy Mothers day Card". No card was delivered only the Florist business card!. I'm not even sure that it was the Flowers I ordered|. FromYouFlowers couldn't tell me who the florist was that made the delivery, .
In small print it did state "product availability" and "as close as Possible", .There was one carnation in the ad;. When I complained they offered a 10 dollar gift card.
terrible for florists
This company is a terrible choice for florists to accept orders from. They will always pass there loss onto the shops. Example, the customer will supply an address to an apartment. The florist attempts delivery, however, no apartment number is listed. You contact fromyouflowers.com they get the apartment number from the customer and tell you to deliver it the next day. You deliver it the next day. As a florist shop, you think great I have done my part. Nope - 60 days out they will file a complaint saying poor quality or customer was dissatisfied. They will give you no warning, just a multiple array of letters to try to combat for your money. We find they do this frequently on larger orders. Orders that are good quality, delivered on time. Still 60 days out they cancel the order. Florists, (being local shops) need to stay away from this internet order taker. I have already called every fellow shop in my area to let them know what kind of stunts fromyouflowers.com pulls. Hopefully, they will loose this market because no shop will take the orders. Stay far far far away from this internet order taker! Bloomnet should not even allow them to be a service member. They were teleflora, until teleflora shut them down.

non delivery - no response
I ordered flowers for mother's day on May 5th. They were supposed to be delivered May 7th. It is now May 12th, and there are no flowers. The kicker is...I cannot get in touch with this "company". When I call, the system keeps saying they have large call volume, thanks for your patience, then after keeping you on hold for 20 minutes, it says to try again later and HANGS UP! I am furious! I've emailed and submitted online forms but still no response. My mother lives in a different state and had nothing for mother's day. It makes me sick that this "company" walked off with my money. There is an article claiming that CNBC rated them highly, but all I found was a PRWeb type article that they wrote themselves. I'd love to see an original article and find out how they were judged. As far as I can see, it is a scam. Save yourself the heartache and go with pro flowers, 1 800 flowers or the like.

This is the 2nd Valentines Day in a row that this company has screwed up my order! Both times i paid the extra fee to have delivered early...and i actually orded days in advance. I should have learned my lesson from last year but i figured i would give them another chance...boy am i sorry i did that. I have called and called...busy signal...then finally on hold and then as soon as i heard someone answer the phone it went dead! Can u believe they hung up a split second after they answered. I'm call the BBB here in Boston and definately lodging a complaint...i hope more people will also do this...this is sooooo frustrating...$140 bucks and they can't even get back to me.
fraudulent company
This company appears to be scamming hundreds of people out of their money.. They never delivered my mothers flowers, and gave me a different story each time I called. Finally they said they were notified that the florist couldn't fulfill the order. (I ordered 3 weeks ago and I was never notified) I tried emailing several times and no response (although their site promises to answer within an hour) Oddly enough every negative post I put on their facebook page gets deleted immediately. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and my credit card company. I suggest everyone who has had a negative experience also files with the BBB. I wish I read the reviews before I ordered.
never delivered flowers
WOW - where to start! They charge outratgeous delivery and expedition fees, but I chose them because they were linked to a new Hilton program. I ordered before Noon delivery.
Imagine my suprise when my parents called and asked why I didnt send flowers to my 85 yeard old grandmother for her birthday. Long story short - they never delivered. They never called me, they never emailed me. What if I didnt call them? DO they steal my money? Where is the quality?
I call - so nice of them - no apology, they will deliver the flowers late, at a 20% discount. What a scam. What a ripoff, what a complete lack of service. They had a chance to get kudos for service recocery, how about a big SORRY - and FREE FLOWERS a day late. Glad they are still making a buck off of me, even though they did nothing right. They will never make a dollar off of me again, and only a fool would use their service, knowing what I know.

Horrible...I ordered a $100 arrangement, 2 mylar balloons and 3 latex balloons. The flowers that my friend got look NOTHING like the ones I ordered and she only got one mylar and one latex (I was charged $19 just for the balloons). I never would have know the flowers came from me had I not asked. The arrangement I ordered was supposed to have Hydrangea, orange roses, Lillies, and a butterfly decoration (which represented sentimental value), which were all to be placed in an orange planter. What she got was 10 roses in a clear vase...for $100! When I called and followed up with emails I was only offered a $30 refund! Unacceptable! With another follow up email regarding this horrible offered I was simply told that they "strive to offer the best customer service"...YEAH RIGHT! Dont ever order from these scammers! This is what I ordered and I attached a picture of what was sent! http://www.fromyouflowers.com/products/garden_of_love.htm

This is the worst company I have ever done business with! Not only will my step mother and my 80 year old grandmother not receive flowers on Mothers Day but my day is also ruined. I placed 3 orders on the 3rd of May and called and spoke with them several times to make sure my orders would be good. I was reassured every time that my ...orders were good to go. The first order that was supposed to be delivered on Mothers Day was delivered on Friday the 6th. I had two more orders left. I received an email at 400AM (on Mothers Day) saying they could not fulfill my orders. I called and "Alissa" said that she didn't know why I received the emails and that the orders were "on the truck". My family never received any flowers. Once again I called back and was told they didn't have florist in the area. I wanted to know why I was told that I was good to go and not told the truth so I could have made other arrangements. All they offered was "sorry" and a $20 gift certificate that I would never use because I will not do business with them again or any of their affiliates. They also offered to call my Grandmother and tell her sorry. REALLY? This may be the last Mothers day that my Grandmother sees and they want to tell her sorry? They are only going to refund the money for two orders although they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I AM NOT SATISFIED! This business DOES NOT care about their customers and I would not be surprised if the money is not refunded to my account in 1-2 business days like they said they would.
I ordered flowers on June 4th to be delivered to a funeral on June 5th before noon (and paid extra for that) so that they could be there before the viewing. The flowers did not arrive until 45 minutes before the funeral service started on June 6th. What a waste! From You Flowers discovered on Saturday that the florist couldn't provide delivery on Sunday so they authorized a Monday delivery without ever calling me. I would have cancelled the order and they knew that. They stole my money by not adhering to my contractual request and delivered the flowers whenever they felt like it. And of course their response is that I got my flowers, I should be happy. I will tell my experience with this thieving company to everyone I meet. Stay away from these unethical thieves!

I reveiced a 25% off coupon for From You Flowers and decided to use it towards an arrangement for my parents 20th wedding anniversary. I ordered a deluxe arrangement and when my parents received them there were 2 red roses and 2 carnations in a bud vase. Not a deluxe arrangement in my books. After several phone calls of me complaining they sent out a little bigger arrangement and sent me a $20.00 gift card to use towards another order. So I placed another order for my mother in laws birthday 9 days before I wanted them to be delivered. I paid extra to have them delivered to her work before 12:00pm. I went to their website to check the order @ 2:00pm and noticed that the arrangement was NOT delivered. I instantly sent an email asking for an update. I finally received a reply at 3:45pm stating "Unfortunately, we were unable to locate a florist able to complete the delivery today. With your permission, we would be happy to send the delivery tomorrow, April 9th, with a note of apology explaining the delay or we would be happy to even call the recipient to personally apologize. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused." I called their crappy customer service and told them that I wanted these flowers delivered to her home address before 10am the next morning and wanted a full refund. I even provided my home email address so they could send me a confirmation that they flowers were delivered. The next morning a "supervisor" called me to let me know that the flowers were still not delivered. I was told that they will refund my credit card the full amount within 1-3 business days...WE WILL SEE if that happens
I was a good customer of your company. I had been using this company for about 2 years now. I am filing this complaint re: Order #[protected]. I had ordered flowers for my mother to be delivered on Friday, 5/11/12. The company they contract with, Conroys, did not deliver the flowers. They called my mother and asked her to pick it up!?! I paid $14.99 for delivery. I expect to get what I pay for.
The story gets worse. The floral arrangement that I ordered: floral celebration for Mom(It's a pink arrangement with roses) was not given. I went to her house today and was disgusted with what I saw. It was not what I ordered. It was a cheap arrangement with carnations and an ugly ribbon. I am so angry and disgusted with this kind of service. Had I not visit my mother I would never have known my order was not honored.
I do not know what other orders they have botched. I complained to the company, they offered a 30% refund, to send the original floral arrangement and a letter of apology. After refusing that, they upped it to a 50% refund and a letter of apology. No flowers.
UNACCEPTABLE.
same happened to me!
delivery
This company is HORRIBLE. My husband ordered flowers from them and they promised delivery on 2/15/11. Well I didn't get anything. Finally my husband called them on 2/20 and I got a delivery on 2/21 that was supposedly an updgrade. Let me tell you, the quality of the flowers was awful, the arrangement looked like a kid put it together, and the customer service refused to talk to me because I didn't order the flowers. He is my husband... The point is... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Pay more for 1-800-flowers... at least they hold their contracted floral shops to a high standard.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my best friend in Jan. She had both legs amputated so when I didn't hear from her I understood. Finally in the middle of March I emailed her and asked her if she liked the flowers. Never got them. I called and they told me there was a glich in delivering them. Kept my money and never let me know. I fell for the guys baloney when he told me they would upgrade the flowers, return 20% of the total cost to my account and send me a 20.00 coupon for my next purchase. Didn't get any of it. The flowers finally were delivered but I have no idea what they looked like. If I hadn't asked her they would have just kept my money. Never again.
Useless incompetant ripoff merchants.
I ordered flowers fir.my sisters birthday for Sunday 25th Aug. A nice bunch de Lux e
The online site for you flowers took my order and my money. And said they could deliver them Sunday. Later I got a mail saying they could not deliver Sunday. They eventually delivered Monday. The flowers that arrived were not de lux and were not of the same quantity or colour of the ones ordered. The chocolates looked a smaller box. I complained after a million emails back and forth. The offered me money off my next order. I declined as I said I would never order off them again. I got back 15% £ ... Or rather am still waiting for that refund. Steer clear of this con truck... I spent 83 dollars...for what I could buy in a store for. Half the cost or more. :(
I had a terrible experience too. I've been sending flowers for about 3 years through this company but not any more. I arranged a pot flower to my in-laws for mother's day. There was not option for Sat or Sun delivery so I requested for Friday. On the Friday night after 8:30PM, I got a call and they said the particular pot I wanted didn't make in. So the flower was never delivered. They don't know when they can get them either. They offered upgraded flower arrangements to be delivered on Tuesday. 2 days after Mother's day. I just had to cancel it and of course it was too late to arrange anything else from there. This company is very irresponsible for what they do. Maybe too big of the company that can't care at the personal level. They offered $15 coupon first and I rejected it then now sent me a $20 discount for next order. What a...(!) I will not use or recommend this company for your special occasion.
pending charges
I had a problem with a order that was not completed, but yet it charged my account four separate times for the same amount. When I asked a supervisor from this company to call my bank to clear this up he refused. By the way the money is being held captive for three to four days, instead of fromyouflowers simply making a phone call to release MY MONEY back into my account. So now I will not be doing business with this company again, so think twice before you order.

i'm out a few hundred dollars and no mother's day gift
I tried fromyouflowers.com for the first time instead of FTD. Big mistake. I placed 3 orders on Friday morning. I selected arrangements that were advertised same day delivery. The arrangements were for Mother's Day and I was told they could be delivered Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I selected Saturday by noon and paid extra for a guaranteed time and not the normal anytime before 5pm Saturday. At 2pm 2 of the 3 arrangements had not been delivered. I called fromyouflowers.com and was told that my order #[protected] and order # [protected] would be delivered by 5pm Saturday and the expidited fee charge would be refunded to my credit card. The representative told me that the florist was backed up that was taken care of the order but not to worry they would be delivered by 5pm. At 10pm I talked with my mom and was told she never received anything. My mother in law same thing. I was told tonight by the representative that they tried to place the order late this afternoon (after I spoke with them) and they could not get a florist to fill the order because it was too late in the day. I then asked why did they tell me their was a florist that was almost done with the arrangements and that it would be delivered by 5pm when in fact they never placed the order and now it was too late. The representative tonight also advised I was not given the credit I was promised this afternoon.
The company said the best they could do is have it delivered Monday or Tuesday with an apology note to my mother and mother in law. I paid for the premium arrangement they advertised same day delivery on and they could not even get it done with in two days. Now sadily I had to cancel my trip to see my mother as my child is sick and now she won't get her flowers on time. The worst thing about this situation is if they were truthful and owned up to forgetting to place the order at 2pm Saturday I could have called around and tried to find a florist to complete the order. Now I'm out a few hundered dollars and no Mother's day gift.
[protected] order number $146.27 for deluxe (upgraded )
purchased new baby arrangement including flowers, balloons, chocolates and teddy bear
fromyouflowers.com picture illustration I can count 23 flowers on 1 side of arrangement
there was 14 flowers in entire arrangement that we received, chocolates received were 6oz of peanut clusters and we are allergic to nuts. teddy bear and ballons were acceptable.
don't order from them
I ordered 1 week in advance on having my mothers day flowers delivered to my mom that is 3000 miles away from me and even 2 days before Mother's Day. Flowers were delivered on time, but when she called me and sent me pics, the flowers weren't what I ordered, were old, broken, etc. When I called the florist that put these togather, was informed that the flowers were only the 25.00 flowers not the $50.00 flowers I ordered. i called customer service at FFU and they were to deliver a fresh bouquet, which never arrived. I called to cancel the order and have them credit my account back.
I wish I had read your post first.
The company changes their feed back. They even made my negative feed back sound like an advertisement for them, then they removed it after one day.
My young niece died and left two young children without a parent. I ordered the fruit basket and expedited service so the children could grab a snack without their grandparents help... Fruit was not delivered I found out a day later... I also ordered flowers for the funeral that was two days later. The funeral was at 3:00. The flowers finally arrived at 4:00. I was so upset and overwhelmed. The first customer service rep. actually said "I'm sorry we could not deliver the fruit basket. Really I know how you feel, " I wonder, did her niece die and leave two young children orphaned as well? I was very insulted.
From you flowers made an imposable situation even worse. Way to go!

I Agree DO NOT ORDER FROM FLOWERS FRO)M YOU
I ordered 2 seperate orders. I ordered on wednesday and wanted friday 5-6 delivery and didn't get delivery until saturday 5-7 when my mother would not be home. I paid for 54.95 bouquets that were suppose to be 16" x 14" with roses and 6 other varieties of flowers in an 8 inch vase. What I got was an 8" x 8" total with vase and the bouquet only contained 2 daisys, 2 snapdragons, 2 carnations and 2 lilys! Everytime I write to Flowers from you they email me back asking for more details as to what I am unhappy about! I am turning to the Better Business Bureau and I hope everyone else does the same!

late delivery/over charged
Ordered flowers for Mother's Day. Was told they would be there by 5pm on May 7th, 2010. Got a phone call that day saying florist could not fill order, but they would give me a free upgrade and delivery would be no later than Tuesday, May 11th. Well, the 11th came around and still no flowers. Got a call at 7pm that night saying I could try and "talk" to the florist myself, but they didn't know if they would still be open. Flowers were finally delivered on May 12th... 3 days AFTER Mother's Day and 5 days AFTER they were promised to be delivered.
Today, May 17th I am reconciling my credit card statement to find they charged me $10 more than my receipt shows. I contacted them and told that they charged me the correct amount. Not exactly sure where that $10 came from. I guess it's the "free" upgrade I was given since they were 5 days late in delivery. WILL NEVER BUY FROM AGAIN. Called credit card company and disputing the charge.
no delivery
I found this post after I went looking for the actual CNBC claim about FromYouFlowers.com .
I ordered flowers for my mother-in-law who has been in extended care for physical rehabilitation in Ann Arbor Michigan hospital. I ordered the flowers 6 days in advance of Mother's Day and due to the website and phone claims that they can deliver within 24hrs of placing an order, I felt assured 6 days in advance would be enough.
There are several florists in the area of my mother-in-laws hospital. We have more family who also sent flowers using different methods than this website and I can say regretfully it isn't the lack of florists in the neighborhood, its the lack of truthfulness in the FromYouFlowers claims for being the best! ALL the other flowers sent by other relatives using other methods arrived on time without a hitch. Our order through FromYouFlowers.com however NEVER arrived! I called three times and sent two emails, each time complaining and was told, "No problem we are so sorry we will make sure your flowers are received TOMMOROW with a complimentary upgrade and note explaining it is our fault the order was delivered late" . Today after checking every day to see if the flowers had arrived with my mother in law, I called and was told by the rep they claimed they had attempted to "confirm it was alright to make a delivery" through my email and phone but that I hadnt responded... That was completely ficticious statement, NO phone call or voice mail, my phone is on 24/7 because I have children out of state who need me oncall... and I checked my emails and I have emails from FromYouFlowers for discounts off using them to fulfill future orders as a preferred customer, but absolutely nothing regarding my actual order. And why would they need to have me confirm it was okay to deliver something I have been complaining hasn't arrived?
I also should say some of the other claims made by FromYouFlowers during the phone conversations made to verify where our order is:
1) " the local florist refused the order and kept your money and never notified ForYouFlowers they were not delivering"
2) "We just confirmed by telephone that a DIFFERENT florist will be delivering your flowers definitely tommorow"
3) "We're having problems locating a florist who can deliver because they are so busy in that area..."
4) "We can't release the names of the florists we use due to the confidentiality agreement we have in our contract"
4) "We're noting your account about this problem, you need not do anything else but relax and rest assured your flowers will be magnificently upgraded and arrive tommorow"---
Our original order was not a standard $19.99 bouquet of flowers. We ordered the top of the line, premiuim basket with premium flowers, something that would be special and make our mother feel special that we remembered her from 2500 miles away. When I mentioned this to the reps they still continued to remark that they would be "triple upgrading" my order for my trouble... I wouldnt expect an upgrade just make the order arrive the date origilly promised and don't have reps make false claims... How many Tommorows are required to finally make it get there? and I would just like to know when did CNBC proclaim FromYouFlowers to be the BEST Value for your Money or the best online florist? I have never ever had this kind of problem ever with an online florist and you can rest assured I will never use or recommend FromYouFlowers.com to anyone.

I used them to send flowers to my wife's work for her birthday and they never delivered them and never even called to inform me. I even received an email at 4:43 stating that they had been delivered. That pissed me off there that they had (assuming) delivered them so late... It wasn't until I talked to my wife after work and asked how she liked the flowers, she had no clue what I was talking about. I called fromyouflowers.com customer service at 5:30 and they told me they couldn't find a florist to make the delivery. Again they never even called to let me know they couldn't deliver them, instead they sent an email saying they'd been delivered. Do not use fromyouflowers.com. From you flowers is trash.
Didn't deliver AND send notice of non-delivery too late, though they had my email address and phone number. I paid extra on Tuesday so that they would be delivered Friday am... Rec'd confirmation. Notice of non-delivery came at 6 something pm, after 5 at the delivery location, too late to do anything. Their reason - the location of delivery was too "remote." The location was on the major thoroughfare of a major city. If I had remembered to check here, I would have seen the other complaints and I would NOT have ordered from these people. To their credit, they did send a nice apology. But did they offer to DO anything? NO, except to deliver to some other address...really? Anything else would be more "remote!" THAT makes me laugh, at least!
DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM FROMYOUFLOWERS.COM. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I HAD AN ORDER THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE DELIVERED ON THURSDAY MORNING BEFORE 12PM AND I PAID EXTRA. CALLED THEM THAT DAY AT 10A AND WAS TOLD THAT MY FLOWERS WOULD BE DELIVERED BEFORE 12PM. CALLED THEM AGAIN AT 12:15PM, FLOWERS HAD NOT BEEN DELIVERED, NOR DID THEY EVEN HAD A FLORIST LINED UP TO SEND THE FLOWERS OUT. THEY SAID THE FLOWERS WOULD BE DELIVERED BY 5PM AT THE END OF THE DAY AND I TOLD THEM TO CHANGE THE ORDER TO BE SENT OUT ON FRIDAY MORNING BEFORE 12PM. CALLED AGAIN ON FRIDAY AT 11AM, NO ONE KNEW THE STATUS OF THE ORDER. I CALLED BACK AT 12PM, ORDER STILL HADN'T BEEN DELIVERED. NOW IT'S 3PM AND NO ONE KNOWS WHEN THE ORDER IS GOING TO BE DELIVERED. LOTS OF TIME WAS WASTED CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I SPOKE TO OVER 10 DIFFERENT PEOPLE WITH 10 DIFFERENT ANSWERS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND GO THRU ALL THE STRESS THAT I DID. BETTER OFF WITH 1-800-FLOWERS OR A NATIONAL NAME BRAND COMPANY.
mother's day delivery is 5 days late
I ordered from this company and have nothing but hassles. It's been 5 days since I placed my orders for Mother's Day, and one has still not arrived. It was to my daughter who lives on a military base, whose husband is away on a mission. I wanted her to be blessed on Mother's Day. I stressed the importance of them getting there BEFORE Mother's Day and told them why.
After being overcharged by $10 from the get-go, not only did they not make the delivery, I have called on Sat, again on Sunday (Mother's Day), Monday, and now Tuesday, and they said they don't think they can delivery them because it was a bad address. The guy who took the order over the phone, read it back to me correctly. Then somehow their system "deleted" the name of the street. No one checking on this has figured it out? Then she says there are no florists in their network there. We are talking about Andrews Air Force Base, just outside of DC! Not some lone island. Seriously? So she asked me to look up some other florists in the area for her, and she would try to get it out through one of them. If I'd known was going to go through all that stress, a total of now 2 hours on the phone, and do her job for her, I never would have called them in the first place. But on their site they claim to be rated BEST by CNBC network; if that's the best, what woulds the worst look like? NEVER AGAIN! Next time I am out visiting, I am going to personally check out florists in her neighborhood, and make a personal relationship with them so I know who really wants my business and will make timely deliveries to my daughter and son-in-law when the special occasions arise.

I have never ever had this kind of problem ever with an online florist and you can rest assured I will never use or recommend FromYouFlowers.com to anyone.
3 out of 2 arrangements never delivered
I ordered 3 arrangements for mother's day, my mother, mother in law and grandmother in advance and was given the choice of deliver date for Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I selected the Saturday by noon so they would be fresh for Mother's day. Only 1 was delivered and it was not the quality I ordered the other two were never delivered. The one delivered was received by my grandmother who's 83rd birthday is also mother's day. I'm embarassed of the crummy flowers they delivered. The other 2 arrangements were to be delivered by noon on Saturday but never were delivered so at 2 pm I called the service to advise them 2 arrangements were never delivered and was put on hold. The company told me they personaly called the florist they contracted the job to and they were backed up but it would be delivered by 5pm on Saturday. I was assured the florist was working on the arrangement. I found out late Saturday evening the flowers were never delivered. I then received a generic email explaining the floweres would be delivered Monday or Tuesday with an appology note. I called the company back and a representative told me that they tried to place the order at 3pm but it was so late in the day no florist would accept the order. They lied to me in the afternoon there was no florist working on the order they never placed two of the three orders. I can't believe they advertise the CBS morning show endorses them as a best buy. What a joke. I wonder if CBS gets paid to endorse them? Save yourself the headache and order from a local florist in the yellow pages you will do better. You can't do any worse than fromyouflowers.com An apology note, seriously? I left a message for one of the editors of the CBS Morning Show and can't wait to see if they respond. It gets better as I was checking for the email to complete this posting I received an email from "CEO David at fromyouflowers.com" It was an advertisement from fromyouflowers.com saying it was not too late to order flowers to be guaranteed delivered by Mother's day. Of course I responded, Seriously!
no delivery
BEWARE!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!! I ordered (& paid for) same day services for flowers to be delivered to a funeral on 03/10. I received a call at 5:30pm (3/10) informing me they were NOT delivered b/c my name somehow got switched as the deceased's name. So when the florist delivered to the funeral home of course I was NOT there. I was assured they...

I order flowers for my father’s memorial service on 2/21/10 to be delivered by noon. I got a phone call from the company saying they could not deliver the order at the same time the service was starting. I had no other way to order flowers for the service because of the late notification. The company only apologized for the nondelivery and said they would refund my money. Because of this companies negligence in for filling their contractual obligation no arrangement was at the memorial service for my father from his children.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I ordered the arrangement the day before (2/20/10 7:03am PST) for delivery 2/21/10 by noon. My major complaint is that they waited until the service started to contact me. If they had notified me in a timely manner I could have made other arrangements with another company.

I placed an order and at the end of the order told there was a $14.98 service fee. I asked for what? They said to make sure the flowers were the freshest and best! Well HELLO, would I send wilted dead flowers? that should have been a red flag. Then, I asked for the photo of the flowers I sent and paid for? NO because the florist was too busy. OKAY, it takes less then a minute to take a photo and forward. I will NEVER order from them again!
I ordered flowers from you flowers.com. I paid for Saturday or Sunday delivery for Mothers day and was assured they would make it over the weekend. I was not able to track my order on line, the order number and or email address was not recognized. Sunday afternoon the delivery was not delivered and I called. I was told they would track down the problem and get back to me. They never got back to me. Monday I called and was told the florest was busy and they would track down the order and get back to me, I didn't get a call or Email. I called on Tuesday and the opperator had no idea what the problem was and found out the address was wrong. No call no offer to fix the problem. They asked if i wanted to "cancell".
Just awful. put me in an bad position on Mothers day! Will never use their service again. They have no complaint process! I wonder why?
Oh, okay Las Vegas, thanks for the clarification that you did order the flowers the day before, not the day OF the service. Also, that you were notified AS the service was starting wasn't clearly stated. Your original post, if reread, just didn't make that clear. It -sounded- as if they just couldn't deliver when the service was starting, not that they CALLED you when the service was starting. Yikes, I guess they need a week to be on time! Again, so sorry for your loss. A flower arrangement would have been a welcome sight.
I am very sorry for your loss. I looked at their website and found this info: "Make FromYouFlowers.com your online flower delivery choice and enjoy same day flowers and unmatched customer service. Your satisfaction is our top priority--our Same Day Flower Delivery Guarantee offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our flowers, gift baskets and services. Most of our flowers come with same day delivery--simply order before 3:00 in the recipient's time zone and the flowers can be delivered that day. Since we use a network of local florists nationwide, we can usually have your flowers delivered within hours of ordering. When you care enough to send flowers, trust FromYouFlowers.com to ensure they are beautiful, fresh and delivered right on time! "
They state that the delivery can be made WITHIN HOURS of ordering. You haven't provided enough information so we don't know what time you actually placed the order. While they offer SAME DAY service, it is hard to know just how quickly a local florist can fill the order. Their offer to refund your money sounds like they are honoring their guarantee.
failure to deliver
I placed an order with this company online and they did not deliver! First I paid for expedited service and when that didn't happened I call and they told me that my order will be delivered by 6 pm. When that didnt happen, I called them back and was told that I should have know that this probably would not happen because it is Valentines weekend all the florist are extremely busy at this time. IF that was the case it should have said that somewhere on there website instead of it saying that it can be done! I recommend that people be very careful befor using Fromyouflowers.com!

I wish I would have read these complaints before placing my trust in them this morning to get a simple delivery for my sister's birthday. I even paid the expedited delivery as well...I had to call them to ask where it was and they said they could try to deliver it the next day with an apology letter, same fee of course. An apology letter? Are you freakin kidding me? I almost lost it. They said they will refund this order in the next 2-3 business days. I think I will call my bank and have this transaction rejected. Go somewhere else. I have always had good luck with Teleflora...just saw some better prices and thought I'd give it a shot here - don't make my mistake...
Ordered three separate orders for mothers day, two of the orders were sent but one was not. I called the day after mother's day and was given a refund on the order that was not delivered, and was told that the oder will be dilivered on tuesday because the flower shop was closed on monday. i get a call from my sister on tuedsay at 9pm and was told the flowers didnt come. wedsday morning i call and i was told that they dont give away free flowers and that i refused every other offer that was givven. i wasnt given any offers other than my refund and the female expalined that she is not going tit-for-tat with me and cant do anything else. very rude.
No delivery to my Mom but they sure keep sending me Emails for discounts so they can steal more of my money.
Several contacts with them and keep getting the same run around in trying to get my money back.
last minute cancellation
Ordered flowers 5 day sin advance. Got a call at 2 p.m. on the day the delivery was expected stating that they could not fulfill the order because the local florist was too busy.
It was too late to find an alternative and they seemed to careless. They stated they could send the flowers a day late with a free upgrade and note of apology for late flowers. UNEXCEPTABLE!
I asked for a refund... And I'd better see the refund in my account by the end of the week.

did not deliver
I ordered overly expensive flowers because they SAID they could deliver the next day and even sent me a confirmation...but then called and said they couldnt' do it...THEY ARE A SCAM. DO NOT USE THEM.

do not order
I order flowers to be delivered the next day to my mother for her birthday. I live in Minnesota and she's in Missouri. I paid an extra amount to ensure they arrived before 1:00 PM because my mother had plans at 3:00 PM and it was too cold for the flowers to wait outside until she got home. That would have been 1:00 PM yesterday.
As of 3:00 PM today, she has not received a thing and no one has called her (for directions, etc). I called their customer service and was told that they will not refund my money until they speak with the local florist. But, the local florist is not open on Sundays. So, I would have to call back tomorrow so they could call the florist to find out what happened. When I asked why I would have to call them again tomorrow, she said that I would have to do it if I wanted my money back. I asked why the company would just not take it upon themselves to follow up with the florist and then return my call. She said that they did not do that. I explained to her that not only had her company stole my money, but her customer service sucked. And, in today's economy, a company really cannot have crappy customer service.

WHEW! This is one heavy-handed company. Don't order flowers from them.
From You Flowers is a rip-off. They are the florist delivered part of ProFlowers. Here's how it works:
Say a consumer orders $100 worth of flowers from From You Flowers. They pay approximately $125 including a processing fee. From You Flowers keeps $25.
Then From You Flowers sends the order to a local flower shop for 73%, which means From You Flowers keeps an additional $27.
Then they receive 20% from Teleflora for processing the order, which means From You Flowers gets another $20.
And then they receive a rebate from Teleflora of $10, which means From You Flowers gets another $10.
That's $82 for From You Flowers on your $100 order. Not a bad gig if you can get it.
And the florist only gets $73, and he has to design and deliver the flowers. If there's a problem, and sometimes there is, he has to fix it, and because the customer service at From You Flowers is so bad, the florist usually eats it anyway.
The bottom line is this: DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS from FROM YOU FLOWERS. They are ripping off the consumer and the florist. Contact your local flower shop instead.

I am so sorry to hear about the issues you had with the Mother's Day arrangement you ordered from us. This is not the type of service that we are striving to give our customers. If you have a minute and can email me your order number at communitymanager@fromyouflower.com, I would like to see how I can help.
