SUSPENDED account
I had accounts with Emirates NBD since 2018 in several currencies. Last year my credit card was stolen in Spain and in a hurry I had entered wrong password to online banking so got blocked. Since then, my account has been SUSPENDED. I have called customer service to get it sorted but they said I need to visit any branch. So until today I have visited branches several times to submit all my documents. Each time they said there is nothing they can do but they have raised a compliant with the right department and someone will contact me. I have also summited my documents to KYC department online several times without success. My money is blocked and bank is not cooperating. Any suggestions where I should go to resolve this issue?

Issues with ENBD X app and then Credit Card fraud
I first had issues with my login for the ENBD X app, which after 3 weeks of troubleshooting it turned out it was a backend issue which made me lose confidence in ENBD. A month later I receive a fraudulent transaction on my CC with no otp request and they said it will take 60-90days to resolve. This is really concerning, it seems that this is happening more and the security of the bank is compromised.

Mortgage increases and lack of customer care
Since March I have been requesting a interest amendment. Mortgage dept did not inform me or have me sign a sanction letter as per central bank transparency law. I am continuously calling writing and been in person to bad al Sheba. I refuse the high interest rate and been asking for amendment Wendy promised to reduce it took nearly a month. She offered me the same high rate. My husband came to Dubai for his usual monthly visit. He used his card from KSA to withdraw some funds. THIS AT FROM THE WORST BANK IN UAE just took his card for no reason. When we came to take it the next working DAY-MONDAY the person at Sheikh Zayed Branch just told him that his DEBIT CARD HAS BEEN DESTROYED BECAUSE APPARENTLY THIS BANK DESTROYS CARD THAT GETS STUCK IN THEIR MACHINE!

Since I opened my account they are holding my 15000 dirhams , they told me it will be release back to me after 3 to 6 months, I traveled back & forth to dubai twice a year , and I always goes to the nearest branch and ask for refund my 15k back to my account, but they just keep promises to me, but won't release my funds.

Your staff called me to take the card, and wasn't interested thn he told me about 0% processing fee & 0% interest rate. I spoke to my friend whos working in abudabhi emirates nbd branch as a manager, he also confirmed me the same.
This is really shameful to all of you. After I processed this card you stop all the services. I cant avail my balance transfer nor even vox offer. Stop doing this fraud.

Credit card fraud and taking my money
I had been a victim of credit card fraud. I reported all to police and the bank immidiately. They could not even stop the transaction one minute after I reported and received messages. Now. They deducted money from my account without informing me. Without my application being open at all. I do not have approach to my application at all. I cannot see my credit card payments. Or any transactions happening. This is outrageous. They even opened minus on my debit card account wothout asking me or informing me. Each time I try to contact anyone. I am always transferred to somewhere else.

My name is Mohammed Murtuza Ali. I have been banking with Emirates NBD since 2014. I had some liabilities with the bank which were not paid on time due to delay in my salary with the previous company. Now that I have changed my company, I had requested for settlement and got an email mentioning the amount AED 57,000.00to be settled and the EMIs in remaining months in December 2022 by a third party Tahseel. As per our telephonic conversation, I was asked to pay the initial amount of AED 15,000.00 on the same day. I made the payment and sent the proof of it thru email to the person I was in contact. I made a payment of AED 2000 and AED 1500 after that in January and February 2023. In March 2033, i received a call from the bank informing that there is no settlement plan. I have forwarded him the same emails I had and in return he asked me to make a payment of AED 1580 upon which he was supposed to offer me the payment plan. After sending reminders, I received an email that they are working on it. After a month, I had a conversation with bank manager and he offered me a settlement offer of 53000 even after paying 20000 earlier where i was offered a settlement plan for 57000. I am irritated with the response being given by the bank and their employees. Kindly look into this and give me a fair advice. Tasheel is responsible for all this mess. The banking procedures and protocols were not informed properly to me. I am ready to make the settlement if AED 57,000.00 deduction the appx. amount of AED 20,000.00. Awaiting your earliest response.
Victim of fraudulent credit card transactions
Hi,
I am Swaminathan from India and a UAE resident.
I became the victim of fraudulent Emirates NBD credit card transactions totaling AED 44,169.57/- on 11th May 23.
I have held ENBD’s highest tier Infinite credit card for eleven years
without a single dispute and never missed bill payments . I am also very
well aware to never leave my credit card and my mobile phone
out of my sight as well as to not share OTP with anyone regardless of
the reason.
On May 11 th at 1am-1.20am, Seven transactions were made in Turkey.
Since I was asleep at that time, and also I have received any
notification regarding OTP request in registered mobile or email ID. I
never went to Turkey during that time or made any purchases in shops
mentioned in the credit card, i noticed these transactions on sunday
14th May and raised a complaint through Emirates NBD customer Care .
As per attachment, I finally was told that the fraud team has
concluded that "OTP has been sent to my email id and my mobile and
the customer is liable to pay.
I already raised a police complaint against this issue and also raised a ticket against this topic with central bank ref no. CAS-178704-X1Q2Q8.
As per my latest conversation with Emirates Bank this is the feedback I received from them Thank you for contacting us, the result of the dispute was this: Disputed transactions done through Google Pay, post authenticating the cardholder identity, wherein cardholder will be liable for all Secure and Authenticated transactions. Card Holder must pursue case with the Police. It was not by your mobile number that is invalid, that caused these charges. Please file a police report. Thank you.
Based on the above feedback , I raised a complaint with Google for an unauthorized purchase claim, Google team just now confirmed that my credit card was not added to Google pay.
At this stage, no further explanation from investigation or alternative solutions offered and without minding my request the Bank started deducting these amounts from my current /salary account and my rent cheque is due for this month.I am left alone now without any help. Can you kindly help me with a solution, I am ready to support any kind of investigation.

I usually lock my Liv Card on my phone. And only unlock it if I will use it. Last June 22,2023 around 2:48 pm I was recharging only for aed 5 on my du mobile number through du online recharged, while on process and check my message at 02:52 pm there was unknown transaction on my account wherein aed 2,404.72, bank statement was deducted aed 2,474.45 and try again to deduct 5,076.64 and I don't even received any Double secure code on my number. And suddenly Emirates NBD Bank blocked automatically my account it means they know someone can access my account without my permission eventhough my card is under my possession. I was wondering where is the protection of our money on our account? Why can someone access my account without my permission. Looking forward for immediate action and response. Please help me and refund my money because I need to send money to my family.

I have wrote to ENBD customer service team several emails to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding the lack of action taken by the esteemed institution to update my security questions of my credit card.
However, despite my digilent efforts, several emails and calls done as well, there has been no progress in rectifying this matter.The lack of response and disregard for my concerns have caused me significant frustration and dissatisfaction with the service provided by your institution.
It is essential to highlight that the absence of an updated mobile number not only hampers my ability to stay informed about my account activity but also poses a considerable risk in terms of security. In the current era of advanced cyber threats and fraudlent activities ,it is vital that all customer information is accurate and up to date,enabling timely notifications and ensuring prompt action in case of any suspicious or unauthorized access to my account.

this is to inform that my dispute complaint was recorded on 27th November 2022 to bank and merchet. from merchant official email is received that was Marchant mistake happened and they are informed all the transaction was returned to the bank itself. from November to this June, twice a month am calling to the bank customer service for get back the amount. till today (7months) they didn't inform me to get a police report for procedure purpose. every call they are informing next week, or next statement will reflect the changes.

Credit card loan
I have taken a loan of aed 20000 from enbd in 2019 which I paid in full 48 installments. in these 48 installments I paid only one installment partially in january. i. e due amount was 574 but in my account there were only 220 aed. now when I paid all my due amount they still showed an outstanding of 808 aed on my account. they replied me that they put 808 aed interst on 300 aed.
Desired outcome: waive off my due amount and issue clearence letter.

I wanted to open a bank account with emirates nbd and saw online that I could do it from the mobile app of emirates nbd - enbd x.
Now I've opened the account on the mobile app and got my debit card and activated the card too. But I had a few queries so I called the customer care.. when I called them, I got to know that there are restrictions on my account and that my limit for withdrawal, purchase and transfers are 0. I was pretty shocked when I was told that I need to visit the nearest branch with my documents to remove these restrictions. Because, whats even the point of opening an account online when you cant use it and eventually have to visit the branch?
Anyhow, I went to the MOE branch and saw a huge queue. When it was my turn, I was told the branch manager is not there and I need to go again the next day morning. I called the customer care again from the branch itself and the agent specifically told me that there are no restrictions on my account and I can start using it. I only had to update my emirates id using the atm machine which I did. Then the customer service agent tells me that I have withdrawal limit of 25000 and transfer limit of 3500000 and that I don't need to visit the branch. I left the branch in peace.
Then after a couple of days, I was facing issues verifying my mobile device on the app and I called the customer care. Now the agent again tells me that my account is restricted and all the limits are 0. This is really frustrating!
The worst part is before opening the account using the app, I checked the whole process on the official website and no where it is mentioned that I have to visit the branch with the documents if I open the account online to remove restrictions. Infact, one of the faq clearly states that I can start using my account for transfers and purchases once my debit card is activated.
This is complete wrong information and the worst experience ever. I have never had any such expectation. I was told the service of enbd is the best but it seems to be the worst.
Now I'm caught up with my new job and cant afford to take a leave or a permission to go to the bank. And I cant even use my account. What is even the point of opening an account online if you cant use it without going to the branch? This is so stupid. I have raised an escalation with customer care and arranged a call from a supervisor..
Desired outcome: Remove restrictions on my bank account without me visiting the branch.
