Chrome wheels of 2019 corvette grand sport
Regarding the purchase/ownership of 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, VIN1G1YY2D70K5121009 Purchased 12/31/19 at AutoNation, Peoria, Arizona.
After purchase and during 75 mile drive home, I became aware of considerable vibration from the tires or wheels. I told the salesman via phone during a subsequent conversation and my intentions to get the tires balanced locally.
Following the holidays, I took the car to Tire Pros in Prescott, Arizona where the tires were tried to be balanced on their Hunter Tire Balancer. There was some improvement but the vibration was still there. The car was returned a week or so later and a Road Force Balance attempted by dismounting and turning the tires. While doing this, there was a front and rear tire found to have defects through Michelin. New tires were ordered, received week later and then mounted and balanced. The vibration remained and the exchange cost me in excess of $100.00 after Michelin agreed their tires were defective. Again I drove the car hoping the vibration would work itself out and it clearly became a rhythmic type of vibration.
After driving and putting up with it, I changed the tires in Nov 2020, placing Continentals on in place of Michelins. After mounting and balance the vibration remained. I returned to the Sun Valley Tire shop in Prescott Valley and had them do a run out on the rear wheels. It was then noted the right rear inner bell of the wheel was bent. I subsequently ordered a new GM replacement at a cost of nearly $700.00 and had it mounted and Road Forced Balance. The car no longer has the "seat feel" vibration but the steering wheel still has the rhythmic on/off vibration. I at this point suspect that one of the front wheels is also bent and again after the holidays and improved weather, I will take it back into Sun Valley Tire and have a run out performed on the front wheels. Sadly, being 74 and paying for an $80K vehicle should not be an issue I should have to deal with. I'm not wanting anything but a ride as smooth as my 2018 Cadillac XTS provides which cost less money.
Customer Service at local dealership
I am writing to complain about the Parts Manager at George Carr Dealership in Vicksburg, MS. Brandon Carr is rude and very unprofessional. Mr. Carr called our office, Riverside Construction Company to let us know a special order was in. When I asked the last 4 of the VIN or for a purchase order, or who ordered the part, he got irate and stated that since...

I purchased a 2020 GMC Terrain from Ferguson Dealership in Norman, Oklahoma. I bought the car and realized almost immediately, I did not like the car. It was too small and confined for me. But I decided to continue to drive it until I had absorbed some of my negative equity in my jeep trade in.
Before 10, 000 miles it began to mess up. I thought I had gotten bad gas or something. I am a 65 year old widow woman who knows nothing about cars.
I have to have a tow package as I am handicapped. They talked me into purchasing the extended warranty in order for them to include the tow package on the terrain.
So, I took the car in after I waited 8 days for a loaner car. I took the car in November 16, 2020. As of today, they still have the terrain. I told them I did not want the terrain back even with a new motor. I spoke to 2 new car sales managers, one used car sales manager and the gentleman in service.
When I received the loaner, an acadia, I drove it for one hour and realized the back up camera did not work. I had gotten used to that, so I took the loaner back and showed them. They offered to get another loaner but I did not want to wait again. So I am driving it as we speak.
After weeks of trying to get this resolved and under ALL the circumstances of bad business, I finally called the General Manager Gary Burton, who btw was VERY condescending with me. I did not appreciate it AT ALL!
On their used car lot, they have a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I got funding for the jeep at my credit union. After everything I had been through with them, I thought it only fair to work with me and call it even.
Facts:
The 2020 GMC brand new Terrain had over 2000 miles on it.
The 2020 GMC brand new Terrain with 10, 000 miles on it had to have a new motor installed.
It has taken almost one month to repair the "new" car they sold me.
I have called almost on a daily basis to get this resolved to no avail. All promised to return my call but did not, until I contacted the General Manager yesterday. Not only was he rude and hateful with me, he insulted my intelligence by reminding me that I would need to return the loaner car.
All I wanted was to give them back their "brand new" car and buy a 2017 Jeep from THEIR inventory.
They told me I would need to pay 44, 000 dollars to make that happen.
I am very disappointed in the treatment from that dealership and I will not recommend them or any other GMC product to any of my friends or family.
I will wait for them to fix the terrain and at my earliest opportunity, I will go to a jeep dealer and trade it in for the Jeep Grand Cherokee I should have gotten in the first place.
Ferguson needs to learn how to treat their customers especially ones like me. I might be getting old but I'm not dead yet.
Btw, I did tell each of them it was my sincere hope that none of THEIR moms were EVER treated as I was.
C8 corvette
I'm buying another type sports car because chevrolet can get corvette inventory into their dealerships. Come on, lets get it together... What is the hold up. It's been over a year.. Please don't use the covid excuse... What is the hold up and when is volume production going to be implemented where customer can see and test drive this product.
Unethical behavior!
I went to the cadillac dealership in henderson nevada only to be ruled by white priviledged men who took advantage of me, they came to my home at night to retrieve money, they gave me $1000 for my pride and joy escaleade which was the cleanest in all las vegas! They charged me $53.000 for a 2018 xt5 with 10% interest at $900.00 a month, they also ruined my credit by running it to 14 lenders! I went into dealership with excellent credit and came out fair credit, now my credit is screwed for 2 yrs! Yes im pissed, ive been a loyal cadillac customer for over 45 yrs! Racism lives at cadillac in henderson nevada! The owner wont even respond to me!
Transmission failure
My transmission recently failed on my 2009 Saturn Aura with a 2.4 engine that I bought brand new at Lupient Saturn in Golden Valley MN. I went to the Chevy dealer in Stillwater Mn and was told that it would cost close to $5000 to repair. The car has 71000 miles on it. When I said that I was worried that the trans would fail again, I was assured that GM had corrected the problem and it wouldn't happen again after the repair. I was completely blown away by their cavalier attitude. Apparently GM discovered a problem, fixed it with their newer cars and decided to leave their loyal customers out to dry. I am a loyal GM customer for over 50 years and the son of a gentleman, who was a long time Legion of leaders salesman for GM and an owner of Viking Chevrolet in Mpls in the 80's. They never treated their loyal customers so shabbily back then. I never abused this car, at all, and I find it hard to believe that transmission failure is normal at 71000 miles. I guess that this is the end of my love affair with GM.

To whom it may concern.
My name is Harvey Plaks and I have been a GM cardholder since March 20 of 1994 and have always paid my bill on time and receive GM credits. During the last 26 years I have bought approximately GM vehicles, Cadillacs, Chevrolet, Buick's using my GM card. Last week I was at a dealership Silverstar Cadillac it was in the process of buying 2021 Cadillac XT 5. The deal was completed, and we were getting ready to sign all the paperwork. My GM points had already been requested in the dealership received a certification of the amount when I was advised that I could not use my $1051 points to purchase this vehicle. I was advised that since I was using friends and family which I believe I was totally entitled to due to my years of purchasing GM products that they had changed the requirements and then accuse friends and family you cannot use your GM points. I canceled the deal and went home and waited a couple days for my points to be reinstated into my account. In 1994 when I signed up for this card, I was told it was as good as cash if I was buying a GM vehicle. I have used the points for at least 10 or 11 vehicles purchases of a GM vehicle with my points. I have been a long-valued customer and feel that some adjustment could be made on my next GM purchase by allowing me to use my GM points whether I buy a Cadillac, Chevrolet, or Buick. If I am not allowed to use my points, then my decision to buy another GM product would be impacted as well as the monthly use of the GM card. You can feel free to check my records to see that bills are always paid on time and that I normally run a good balance yearly with the GM card. I would hope that someone would be able to allow the use of this additional money towards the purchase of a new car. You can contact me at area code [protected]. I will forward to talking to someone who has the authority to allow me to use my GM points. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
Sincerely
Harvey Plaks

Extended warranty
My truck is a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500, since owning this truck, I have had many issues. Torque convertor has been replaced and now, I have a leak from the front, a possible antifreeze leak. Today Dec 1, 2020, took truck in to have checked and was under the Impression still covered under my extended warranty and wasn't and had to pay a Diagnosis fee 130 dollars. I was told the Friday before my scheduled appointment today, that I was covered, when in actuality I wasn't because my truck has 73,000, Had I known this before, I took my truck to have it checked, I would of never made the appointment. Then, I was told I needed brakes and that can't b possible because they were just replaced this summer, both front and back.
The leak is supposedly coming from the reservoir and they also noted that lines could possibly need replacing, but how is it that a 2017 truck needs this so soon, makes you wonder if your Truck is a reject, please concur. Thanks. 1GCVKREC7HZ158026

Tried to talk to Corvette sales rep. (Gabriel? [protected]) about $500 deposit. He never called back or followed up, in spite of saying he would in 2 separate occasions. Dismissive Attitude, and not representative of a GM sales person. It seems that the 'Corvette availability' situation has gone to some people's head and makes them forget they are in...
Read full review of General Motors2016 cadillac escalade
I have a 2016 Cadillac Escalade that has a problem with the clear coat. The hood started looking cloudy, so I took it to the dealership and the body shop said the clear coat was delaminating. The warranty had just expired two months previously. They said they could not do anything about it, gave us a quote to have it repainted for $1040 (just the hood) and gave us the phone number to GM if we wanted to see if they would cover the problem. After filing a complaint with GM they have "reviewed our problem" and said it is environmental and they will not do anything about it. So am I to expect that a car that costs as much as an Escalade is expected to have paint that only lasts as long as the warranty? If it's an environmental problem, why is my other car (a Ford) and a motorhome (that has a huge painted surface) is not having the same issue. I would think this "environmental" problem would be causing the same issues on their painted surfaces. This tells me the problem is defective paint and/or workmanship. Buyer beware — be a bit wary of spending the kind of money an Escalade costs if the manufacturer will not stand behind their product. This is my second Cadillac and now, after this problem, this will be my last.
I am dealing with the exact same problem on my 2016 Escalade ESV. Literally took it to the dealership today and waa given the exact same story about it being an "environmental" issue.
I also have a 2016 Cadillac Escalade and the same problem occurred to me a short time after my warranty expired. I agree that a vehicle this expensive should not have this issue. I have been told that Chevy had this problem several years ago with their white paint peeling off hoods. Seems to me the manufacturer should fix this problem at their expense since obviously Chevy has not mastered the ability to paint a car that lasts longer than a few years. It would be interesting to see how many thousands of complaints they have received for this year model that were determined “environmental. This is my first Cadillac/Chevy and I have never had this problem with my other vehicles. VERY DISAPPOINTED. BUYER BEWARE
2019 Chevy Traverse paint chipping away
To whom it may concern,
I purchased a 2019 Chevy Traverse, VIN #1GNERGKW2KJ300665, on June 06, 2019 and I have areas on my vehicle where the paint is literally chipping off without damage to the area. The hood of my vehicle has white spots on the hood where the paint has come off. I have owned many vehicles and have never had this problem before. I have never been so disappointed that I spent $42, 000 on this vehicle and have to deal with this issue. This is a problem that has to be looked at in person. I have tried to take photographs, but the quality is very poor.
I am aware of many other owners who are dealing with the same issue and have yet to see a paint recall by Chevy for the Traverse. I need to know where I can take my vehicle to be fixed due to this manufacturer defect.
I am so upset with the quality of this vehicle defect that I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals office and the Federal Commerce Commission to make them aware of this problem that General Motors has not remedied for consumers who have purchased this vehicle.
I can be contacted via email at [protected]@hotmail.com or via cell phone at [protected]. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully,
Thomas Hogan
I have a 2019 Chevy Traverse and am also dealing with the same issue. There needs to be a recall and we deserve to have this issue handled properly. I don’t think it is right for me to have to spend thousands of dollars to repair the damage on my own. -Ashley
Issues not resolved since purchase 2 months ago
We purchased a new truck and have had issues with the selling dealer and with gmc since the beginning. I have made many calls to the selling dealer, along with texts/emails and no one can seem to call back. I have had many conversations with the gmc customer service chat people and they seem to not understand English or common sense when it comes to listening. I am extremely disappointed in this purchase and wish we would of went with a different brand. Customer voices use to be worth something. Now it seems like gmc just cares about the bottom line rather than actually resolving the issue at hand. I will be stripping all their logos off my truck and will continue to not recomment speck gmc of kennewick or gmc.
8l90 transmission on a 2016 silverado 4x4
My Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has 65, 000 miles on it. It is completely stock and unmodified, and the torque converter fell apart on September 16, 2020. Once the torque converter components broke, it caused collateral destruction within the entire transmission unit. This failure occurred under normal driving conditions-this truck has never towed a trailer and is completely unmodified. I contacted my local Chevrolet dealer on 16Sep2020, and they stated that there are no TSB's, recalls, or known problems with my model vehicle.

Fuel Injectors 2016 Tahoe 44,000 miles
The check engine silhouette was illuminated on my dashboard. A trip to the dealer Twin Falls Chevrolet and they said my fuel injectors were faulty and needed to be replaced. All 8 of them.
A late model Chevy Tahoe with 44, 000 miles should not have to replace all the fuel injectors unless they were all defective at manufacture. I left messages with Mary Barra G.M. CEO and GM on Twitter and was told they would act as a 'liason' between myself and the dealer.
I told them I don't need a liason I need for them to replace the defective fuel injectors in the vehicle they manufactured.
Product / service complaint
I wanted to reach out to you about the service, I have received concerning my case# [protected]. I have an issue with my taillights which are not working do not turn on. I have had this issue more than a year, but was told they are not covered under warranty. Now that gm is willing to cover the cost of the lights, I am past the miles which I am over 80, 000 and gm is covering only 72, 000 I find that unfair, as I purchased this vehicle brand new off the lot, and paid over 50, 000 and I had have numerous issues since the beginning, like the brakes, ac conditioner and now my led taillights which both are out. I think gm should recall the taillights, as its a safety hazard, I am not able to drive at night as I am scared to get involved in an accident. I have filed a case through the https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls 11341930. I have spoke to a gm rep and also her supervisor and they claim my case was denied gm is not willing to cover the whole cost of the repair. I hope this reaches to you and are willing to assist me on this issue.
Unethical behavior
Purchased CPO 2017 Cruze in Jan 2020 local dealer's listing on their website went to take vehicle in for CPO maintenance in March 2020 was informed this vehicle is NOT certified has been nothing but run around from Chevrolet's advisor after advisor trying to get someone to adress this issue We were scammed into purchasing this vehicle as a CERTIFIED PRE OWNED WITH ALL BENEFITS to be jerked around by this UNETHICAL COMPANY who refuses to address any of it HOPE SOMEONE SEE THIS POSTING AND HELP!
Chevrolet hhr
I own a 2009 HHR. I bought it at a Chevy Dealer but that dealer closed. I've had several recalls on this car. But now there are 2 more issues. I only have less than 80, 000 miles on the car and the entire front bumper has peeled clear coating that looks horrible. And now I have rusted leaking gas lines. I'm old and I know stuff about cars and NEVER EVER had gas leak out in a puddle the size of a turkey platter. How safe would you feel to have your son or daughter driving a car like this. Maybe it's ok if it's your x but what about your loving wife? Or Husband? This is an on going issue with this type of car. I saw 549, 000 complaints on one site for this same leaking gas line. Who put the gas lines in these cars that are susceptible to rusting? I feel GM should be addressing and paying for both these issues, not me. What country did you get your clear coating and gas lines from. American made had better be the answer? I do expect this to be addressed or I am filing a class action lawsuit for both issues. That's unless of course someone else didnt already start one. My car may be older but rusted gas lines... at 80, 000 miles. IT'S A SAFETY ISSUE.
I don't think so.

2015 silverado paint
Clear coat peeling in spots all around vehicle. My other GM vehicles do not have problem. I also don't see other cars doing this. Professional paint shops tell me defective paint job. Clear coat should not blister and peel regardless.
GM customer service said they won't help. Dealer won't help. I see many complaints online of customers with similar complaints.
I take excellent care of my vehicles and this looks horrible.
5.3l afm lifter failure
5.3L AFM lifter failure. This has happened to 1000's of GM trucks with the 5.3L AFM (DOD) engines and although GM has redesigned the lifters at least two times, they have never admitted a problem or issued a recall. This engine is in Chevrolet pickups, Tahoe's, Avalanche's, GMC pickups, and Yukon's. Some engines failed during warranty and a lot have failed after. The evidence is in the silveradosierra.com forum and the chevyavalanchefanclub.com forum. Most times a lifter fails and caused the cam to fail requiring an engine rebuild or replacement. My 2008 Avalanche failed at 70K miles, requiring an engine replacement at $8, 000. This engine had Mobil-1 oil and filter changes its whole life. Customer service will not escalate to management even though I have repeatedly requested such. I have owned 31 GM vehicles in my life without a single engine failure. I am now retired and had planned to keep this vehicle on the road for the rest of my life and was cared for accordingly. My only request to GM was to share in the expense with me due to the apparent design flaw. They will not escalate nor participate in helping me.
2015 GMC Sierra 1500 has 36, 500 miles and needs new cam vehicle was purchased new at 30, 000 miles the front electronic struts had to be replaced, 25, 000 miles the 3 rd brake light gasket leaked water and ruined my head liner see if I will ever buy another gm vehicle!

Warranty
I have a 2012 Avalanche LTZ that has 26500 miles on it and cracks in the dashboard around the air bag in front of passenger and in front of driver since the 18000 mile mark. When is GMC going to own up to their mistake and start treating us like the loyal customers we have been for years?
When a new vehicle gets dash cracks while still under warranty GMC should have to honor their warranty.
Thank You, Willie Gee

I have a 2018 ZO6 and am on 12 wheels about $5000.00 dollars later ... they keep bending. Its a known problem for GM but they DO NOT wanna take reasonability... Very sad...
