service on nav screen did not fix problem, now no longer under warranty
I had my 2015 GMC Denali in for service and asked the service department to fix my Navigation screen/ software. It locks up and the touch screen does not work, and then continuously switches between screen on it's own. This vehicle was still under warranty at this time.
They attempted to update the software, and shortly after I got home, the system began malfunctioning once again.
I had to leave for work the next day, and work away from home on an oil rig, for three weeks at a time. I emailed the service department explaining that the problem was not fixed and that I would have to get them to look at it again.
When I got home from work, my truck was now past the warranty mileage, I mentioned the issue at my next service and was told that the service department will only cover 50% of the cost to fix the problem because my truck is past it's warranty period. I explained to them that I had emailed them immediately after I left from their garage, but they still insist they cannot cover this issue under full warranty.
I feel this issue should be fixed by the dealership at no cost to me because they did not originally fix the issue and it was still an issue while my warranty was valid.
electronic steering pcm/bcm updates
We purchased a 2015 Malibu on 3/20/18. We started to have problems with the steering. We noticed that the steering felt like it was locking up when driving at high way speeds. This made it extremely dangerous because we needed to force the steering wheel to keep it from running off the roadway. We took it in to have it checked and the technician informed us that he needed to perform an update to the software on the vehicle's PCM/BCM steering system. Since we felt that this is a safety issue, your company needs to consider a recall for this procedure on all vehicles with electric power steering.

2012 sonic sirrus radio, blue tooth but otherwise basic won't cut off kills battery
We bought the car new and saw some major problems but with 11, 000 miles on the car we've dodged them so
far.
Our radio comes on after you turn the car off the whole audio system comes back on. cut the radio off and it comes back on. The on star comes back on and and dash lights, just like I turned the car back on. Of course we come out the next morning and the battery is dead. The only fix is to take out the audio fuse to keep it from running down the battery dead.
reading the complainst over the radio, about 700 of them, they say the dealer says they don't have a bullentin on it yet from the manufacturer so there's nothing they can do. Everyone of them just say "there a ghost in your radio" while thats a funny saying they can't fix. seems like to me there has to be a censor that disconnects the radio and that switch ignition is no long killing the signal to the audio system to the radio. Right now the dealers arent' knowledgeable enough to fix it. It's suppose to be the same problem in the other soniuc models, the cruze and impala

I've been a loyal Chevy and American car customer. Your company does not have to lay off as many workers that's been proposed. Oh, I drive a Chevy Silverado, and vocally supported the bailout of General Motors. Please pass this onto someone in charge. Retool some of your factories to make Hatchbacks, they are selling, save some pic those jobs and ppl. This is just wrong.
failure of control unit; chevrolet avio 2016 car
Dear Sir,
Reference is made to my Chevrolet Avio 2016 car (almost 43000km) that suddenly check engine lump in addition to hold lump, I contact the 2 agent of Mansour Chevrolet Egypt plus Mansour services themselves and with result failed in the control unit of the car.
The car warranty in just out since 2 months and Mansour services refuse to repair under the warranty. I try to contact GM Egypt to find out solution but I fail to got any response by phone.
I believe as I'll check with many costumer of AVIO that is very strange the control failed and it should be industrial problem and it's not good for your market to found that major problem under Chevrolet brand name.

My Pontiac Vibe that I purchased new and received several letters from GM has been sitting at a GM Dealer for over a month now because General Motors quit making the part and the mechanics have been doing their best to find one. They have found several used ones and had them shipped in only to find out that they have the same problem that mine does. Seems it could be a major GM issue. After all the letters assuring us Pontiac owners that we would be well taken care of, I can't drive my car and it is going to cost almost $3, 000 and I can't get the part. cost of repair for temperature/blend door actuator
I have a 2010 impala. There is a know defect with these acuators that are made to fail! Is the company willing to help with the cost to replace the one behind the steering wheel. My local dealer is charging 800.00 . This part is 30 to 40.00. But of course, due to labor its expensive. In addition, if I dont fix it my heat/air will eventually stop working. The heat is already stuck and I have to keep adjusting the control just to get it to a normal temperature to match the right side.. I am not in a position to pay mortage and rent costs for this part and repair. Please help!

After leaving Caron Chevrolet in Marshall Michigan on 8/15/2018 I asked The Parts Manager to call the suppliers of Freon to inform them of my leaving and to inform them on the fact that I was the one with the EPA license and I was allowing Carons to use it any more. This commercial is so extremely wrong and unreal! We have so many people in this country just trying to put food on their tables and then during the holiday season try to find a way to put a gift under a tree they might have. Then along comes your commercial showing a couple in front of a mansion...the poor woman deciding to pick the black truck instead of the red one of the two trucks her perfect husband has brought home for Christmas. PUHLeez! This is really over the top and decidedly insulting to the real people watching. It certainly doesn't make any real person feel good about your trucks. I've owned many General Motors vehicles, but I am ashamed for you and your poor choice of advertising.

I have been a loyal buyer of GM/ Chevrolet vehicles my whole adult life. I bought a 2019 Chevy Z71, LTZ in August 2018 for my birthday and it has been at your Davis Chevrolet 2277 S Loop W, Houston, TX 77054 location since November 17, 2018. I had it towed due to the engine was making a loud ticking noise and also the service engine light was on and flashing Service ESC and Service Parking Bake among other things. I got an email from Onstar stating This is a Diagnostic Alert for your Chevrolet Silverado. I have referred friends and family to this location many times. I now have lost all confidence in this engine and maybe the Chevy vehicles. The service manager states it is the DFM lifters and has order the parts but does not know when the parts will in. 2014 chevy equinox
I have a 2014 Chevy Equinox with only 44, 500 miles on it. The battery went dead for some reason two weeks ago. I bought a new batter for 175.00. Now the same problem again. I took to a mechanic who checked the alternator, which was fine and he stated that the alternator should not go bad by now anyway. Something is draining my battery and causing my car to not start again due to low battery. All terminals checked out okay. I read that others have this issue due to a BCM issue. My VIN ends in 9799.

I am currently experiencing an issue with the service air bag indicator on the dash of my 2013 1500 Silverado.
I had the vehicle into the GM dealer in Kirkland Lake with this issue. The dealer told me that this is a common problem and it would require ordering and replacing the harness at my cost and not just fix the wire in said harness ... therefore a second visit.
I believe this is a SAFETY issue and said cost should not be pasted on to the consumer.
Questions: Is there a recall for this issue? I have checked to no avail. Why is this wire in the door harness?
The only reason I can think of is in the event of a side impact the door post air bag will be deployed. If this air bag is not deployed this could lead to serious injury or even death.

my name is gilberto, I buy this car march 2017, three month later the car star making a noise on the bottom center, after few visits to a dealer service department they found a problem with the transmission bar and replaced, when the car was 5500 miles the engine freeze, they told me it was cause by the main bearing and the motor was replace for a new one, in the process I visit the shop at coral gables auto nation a saw the car was complete a part including the hole suspension and steering component, they finish the work and I have my car back every thin was ok until now that I took the car for oil change they recommend me to replace the front tires, both were ball with the cords hanging from the tires, then I ask how is possible that a car with 9000 miles can wear the front tires like that if the tires on the rear are still new, I ask if they did alignment of the car when they finish with the engine work, the answer was, of course we did, they took the car immediately to the alignment lift to get it check for impacts and realignment and came back with the news that every thing was correct, them I request the replacement of the front tires because I believe it was they mistake not align the car correctly at that moment, the answer was, there is nothing they cant do. with those tires in that condition if I drive the car I may end into an accident . I request new front tires.

2018 silverado 1500 ltz
I purchased this vehicle in October 2018, looking through the rear view mirror, i noticed that the bed was not in line with the cab. The dealership tried to correct the flaw. Their explanation was, they could not move the bed, so the readjusted the cab. As per my measurements the cab is 3/4" off center from one side. The cab is 140"+ long. The angle of the cab is not straight, when driving i find the vehicle pointing to the right. This flaw can put myself and and others in a danger.
When i use the touch less car wash, the vehicle is guided by rails on each side, i have to over compensate to the left to center my vehicle.
After the dealership readjusted the cab, i still see that the bed and cab are still not in line.

Bought this truck brand new and it has used antifreeze / coolant since day one. Was into the dealer at 21000kms nothing fixed back to dealer at 43000kms can't find the leak. The dealer tells us to drive the vehicle and Keep a log of times we add antifreeze. (I'm paying for all the antifreeze.) Now we bring the vehicle back and GM gives us a for $268 and says the truck is over the 60000km warranty. GM is a absolute joke we bought two duramax diesel and the are both junk. Nothing more than a cheap car. So I called GM Canada and get nothing but the run around. They don't know anything about and need to do case file. While the truck sits and the dealer wants money

I took my Chevrolet Tahoe VRN 66406 in for 30, 000km service on 9 November 2018. I was most disappointed with the treatment that I received not only for the service on my car but how I was treated during this time. They failed to repair the lighting system which is not working correctly, the automatic lighting option remains on constantly. They informed me that I had a puncture in one of the tires and were unable to do the repair in the work shop. The whole experience and customer service given was well below the standard I would expect from such a high end company. I hope that you will look into my complaint and that on my next service I will receive the treatment I should expect from a company affiliated with GMC.
