If anyone of you are using services of Global Tele Link, be very careful while sharing your bank account / debit card details. I stopped using their services 3 months back. Y'day i was surprised to see some amount deducted from my bank account inspite of me not asking for renewal. When i checked them, they mentioned the agent could have done it without their knowledge.
So please watch out...
I recharged with global telelinks and they promised 1300 mins for $210.00. The agent promised me that i will get an email within a few hours after recharging, showing my minutes available. I never got an email from these people and also the minutes i received was 500 only. I call them up and they tell me the agent who did it lied to me. I asked them to give me the minutes or refund me my money, they refused and on top of that they were asking me to recharge more so that i can recover those minutes. They should atleast satisfy the customers who were cheated. I would strongly advice people not to use their services. And you can never contact a manager to complain. I was so disappointed with what they did to me. It's a fraud and they say it's their agents fault who they have fire. i would like to get my money back buti can't contact any suprior person in this company.

We had a harrowing experience with this organization - Global telelinks. We bought a plan for AUD 50 which was supposed to give us around 900 minutes with 6 months validity. First of all we got nearly 50 minuts less thsan what we were promised to by the guy on the phone. Secondly, only one month had elapsed and we had only used ~ 200 minutes when we received a phone call asking us to recharge our account as we had finished with our balance. We were promised that we would get our minutes (money) back - but nothing has happened after 2 months. So be cautious of this organization - they lie and do not keep their promises.

amantel and raza.com r the company who buy minutes from gtl and they do their business but they cheat people but gts always speak truth 2 customer, nice service expensive quality and marvellous service . thanku gtl.
I have used this service only one time. And when they are taking my card information, then they told that this information is not stored in there system so every time you have to give the credit card number to recharge then I thought lets try one time.
And a service is so bad and then every month they are debiting amount from my account and then there is no refund. I have mail to them hundred times. And then I have to change my credit card. So don't use this services and any body knows how I can get my money back? Is there any legal department that will handle this issue? I have a bank statement and everything to prove my case.

I started off using the service for TEST porposes, And suddenly I got charged for $440 AUD from my account WITHOUT my consent. This happened 8 months back and as I called my agent, She told me I would get my refund in 7 working days 4 MONTHS ago. I got half of my money back, and when I asked for the other half, I was told because I DIDNT CONTACT THEM BEFOER I MIGHT NOT HAVE IT BACK. THEY CAN REFUND THE MONEY ONLY WITHIN 4 MONTHS. Now that came by a surprise, when in phone recordings ANYONE can hear me YELLING for the money back 6 MONTHS ago !

I have been with global telelinks for a no of years, they are very pushy to collect more and more deposit inspite of me having enough money in the account to make calls for a few months. This month they kept pressing me to add more money which I declined, hence they have blocked my account inspite of me having about 900 mts to phone India.
i am very fed up by a woman named manisha. she keeps ringing me all the time, hassling me to recharge my account even though i have told her a million times to not call me. she rings on my mobile, landline and my husbands mobile. she is the biggest cheat and fraud that i have known. previous experience; i have told her to recharge my account for 50 dollars but she recharges is for a higher amount without my authorisation. im supposed to receive free minutes however i have never received them. i hope she will stop after reading this comment.
Agreed with all the above! Global Telelinks are rip off merchants who also debited our account with out our authorization. Then would not give us back our money without a huge fight. After using a nominal amount of credit as its never possible to use all the credit you accrue, the have just closed our account again! Had enough - is there no Telecommunications Omubsman in India?!
I dont live in the US, but have been called everyday for the past one month by GT asking me to take their service. After reading this forum, I dont think I will even talk to them next time.
We have been doing international calling business for over 8 years and have served over 2 million global subscribers. Had there been any truth to all these complaints, we could not be in business for so long.

They are Fraud. Always give false promises and they cheat us me and my wife used to get a lot of cheatings from him..
Was told I was gonna get 200 mins for £5, ended up getting 60 only. When I enquired about it, they said I was being greedy and bought the package. They said I would have to top up so that they can gimme more minutes. Agents were from India. No respect and so unprofessional! A complete fraud! Be aware! They should be abandoned for fraudism!

I closed this account in September 2012, they told me that my refund would take about 30 days and the check would come in the mail. Well, I called back in November- nothing, then in December is where I started getting the run around about my refund. They told me that a refund was issued in October to a credit card that has been closed since September before I closed the account with them. They told me that the they refunded it back to a card ending in 3507, which is the last four digits to my phone number. Now, I'm being told that I have to send them in a bank statement showing my refunds. Let's just say that this is not the only problem that I have had with this company. They have applied the money to the wrong telephone number and still charged me $5.00. I'm trying to remember now, who is in prison?
I used GTL for 3 months, but it was very expensive so witched over to phoneindia.com. but since the lasy 1 year i have not used it again.
I have been harassed by Global Telelinks with calls to renew the account almost evry day/ 2nd day. they call in the middle of night without even considering what time it is in the country they are calling. i live i New Zealand and thus 7.5 hours ahead of India, and always recieve calls late in the night from them, who are based in India.
I have tried requesting, pleading, shouting, abusing etc at them to not call again. but it has been 1 year, the calls don't end. I would never recommend Global Telelinks to anyone ever, i am also lodging a compalint with the police regarding thei, Global keeps cahinging the caller ID's so you can never make out who is calling.

I used the services of Global telelinks in the past and am totally fed up with them. They never give you the agreed rates to begin with and then the voice quality is always poor and calls get 'dropped' at times.Totally unprofessional customer service by agents based in India. They always have the same answers to all your complaints. If you complaint about the bad voice quality they would say that they have had few issues in the past and all that had been rectified and will give you a new 'local access number' assuring all is well with that. But you will soon find out that there is no real improvement in the service. If the complaint is about the rates at which you are charged they will assure better rates with the next 'top up' for pre-paid service.
Do not deal with any agents who are calling from India. They will get your credit card details and make unauthorized charges to your account. When you inquire about these charges they would always claim that it has been done by someone who had left the company recently. They will assure you that your details are not kept in the system but you will be surprised when they make unauthorized charges from your account.
The latest racket by them is offering the customers an extended period of validity for the amount you top up into your account as if they are doing a big favour to you. But actually what they are doing by this is to make sure that your credit card is charged without your consent at the end of this 'extended period' without your consent. While getting your credit card details they will assure you that charges will be made only after contacting you over the phone and getting your consent but that doesn't happen all the time.
In short, as a person who had used their service in the past I would highly recommend to stay away from these guys operating from India.
I have just started to used global telelink and they never let you know all the charges that you will be charge up front how you get charge 5 dollars to open an account 2 dollars credit card charge 9 dollar service charge and 5 dollars to refund my money it a ripe off and not fair I must say don't use this company if you don't have to

Global telinks are complete frauds and scam artists my grandmother put me on her account so i could put money on the phone for my sister to call from county well anyway my sister said she couldnt get through mind you i got authorization from my grandmother a rep even spoke with her! There saying i cant transfer MY MONEY TO A DIFFERNT NUMBER because theres two names on the account myself and my grandmother well if i know the security code why cant they complete the transaction to MY CELL PHONE there complete idiots and incompetent NEVER AGAIN!
I am happily using some other calling services to make phone calls to India, then a guy called from GTL called me and offered £15 unlimited calls to India. I was surprised and started making calls to India, just after a week my minutes are done. I phoned the customer service and they told me that you been recharged with only £5, I was shocked and had an argument with them then they recharged with another £5 and thats all. No unlimited calls no minutes nothing, unlimited means not unlimited this is what they are saying(TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY).
My card details been compromised just after 3 days I used card with GTL, please do not reveal your card details with them.My card is been used somewhere else but luckily I got refunded from my bank. PLEASE BE AWARE NOT YOUR CARD WITH GTL.
I wonder how this company is surviving with such stupid service. I suggest you guys, DON'T USE GTL, there are many calling services in UK with far better quality and trust.

SImilar to many of the above complaints. They promised one rate and charged me twice that. After 2 calls within one month of signing on I asked for refund of remaining amount, as they were not going according to the sales pitch. It is now more than 6 months and a few email exchanges later they call me again and I tell them still awaiting refund. Instead find they have charged my credit card with additional amount. FRAUDSTERS.

Yes, they wont refund my money and i only had them for four days (2-3-216). After reading complaints against them i decided i no longer wanted their service, I asked for a refund. I put 40 and they want to give me 25 without using any of it. They crooks and the company need to be brought up on charges
They are fu fraud company. I already complained about them in consumer forum in Canada. Waiting game now.
Global Telelink they are cheating people and their money. Last time I bought credit from them and they promise me they will give me 1100 minutes for India and 2000 minutes for Bangladesh but they didn't given me that much minutes. They given me half of minutes what they promise. It's really cheating with people and with their money. I am so baffled and surprised, how come this company is still operating. They are the biggest 420 company ever. For them 100 minutes is 1 hour of talk time. They are cheaters and i don't have any words left to tell about them.
This company staffs take money with out your or my permission this is the bad other things they took more minutes as well. Now if they took money with out my permission I report bank and request refund. When you refund from bank than they stop to take out money.

I am using globle Telelink service nearly since 4 years I don’t like there service but last time August agents calling 100 times and explain me we have good offer for nepal and you are our value customer he said if you recharge £55 you will get £3 for 6 month then any festival uk India and you will get Sami bonus minutes 3000 minuets calling for nepal
