WOW, best dog finding experience ever!
I love dogs! But sometimes working with breeders can be, well-very impersonal. Maybe I just got lucky, but finding the right breeder was easy and has been the best experience ever. Pick your breeder, pick your puppy, and start communicating. Brew House Puppies answered every question I asked, sent my pictures, and chatted about pups in general. They fell like old friends.
The process is so simple here. Pick your puppy, pay the down payment, and that baby is yours. So fun. Get messages back and forth on the same web pages, arrange for pick up and watch your puppy grow. Pay right on the we site. Yes, you pay a little extra, but you are going to get your puppy and not get ripped off.
Great Experience
I just adopted a Yorkie pup from Good Dog. I worked with Andrea Chalup and found the perfect little fur baby. I can't say enough about Andrea, she is a great breeder which is evident from the quality of the puppies. She is a family breeder the puppies are in her home with both parents present and the whole family participate in their care. Our little girl is amazing, intelligent and very alert. She was already familiar with a doggy door so potty training has been a breeze. Couldn't be happier or more in love! I highly recommend getting your new family member through Good Dog. Great company, very professional and caring breeders. I would definitely use them again. Thank you Good Dog and especially our breeder, Andrea Chalup!

A necessary service
Good Dog is a necessary resource, a result of people cheating other people. Rock Springs Pugs, owned by Michael Booker, is a very reliable, honest, responsible breeder. Michael has a great personality, loves his dogs, more importantly, he is knows his breed lines. Michael follows his puppies to insure that all is well with them. He wants you to stay in touch, keeping him informed. He has DNA research to ensure that they are healthy.
I have confidence in Michael's breeding operation. Early March we purchased a male puppy from Michael for our son. A week later, we drove 18 hours back to Alabama and got a second one for ourselves. Da-ha, I knew when we got the first one...
Michael is a solid resource for anyone interested in pugs. He is the end of your search.
Best experience in finding our new dog
I wasn't sure what breed we wanted or how to find reputable breeders in our state - we had recently moved back to Florida. I came across the GoodDog website during my web search and am so glad I did. It combines all the info you need about breeds and breeders, allows you to reach out to breeders, apply online and reserve your puppy. It was so easy. We chose a corgi thru Mulkey's Little Corgis and Toni quickly responded to all our questions and was very helpful throughout the process. She regularly shared pics. Finalizing the transaction was a breeze and she puts together a wonderful folder of paperwork and additional info along with a lovely going home bag with toys, starter food, treats and a blanket. We would not hesitate to recommend both GoodDog and Mulkey's Little Corgis. We are enjoying our new puppy!
Mayfield Farm-Labs
After loosing our black lab our family was left with a huge hole in our hearts! We met Camber and her family at the Mayfield farms who was so supportive in our quest to have Santa bring us a new puppy! We were so fortunate to secure not only one, but her litter mate too and we have had nothing but sheer pleasure integrating them into our home and welcomed Greta and Ruby.
Until we could get them, Camber was awesome at sending pictures, video clips and answering my texts until pick up. The whole family gets involved in rearing these puppies and they are extremely socialized by the time you get them!
I even got a wonderful Christmas pic that became my New Years card introducing our additions!
I would highly recommend Mayfield Farms to others and would definitely return myself! Received an awesome starter kit with everything to get started with your new puppy too.
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!
Our Puppy experience with Remy's BFF
We just happened to be looking for an Australian Shepherd to be part of our family and found Gooddog. The site had plenty of certified breeders and after searching we decided on a pup from Remy's BFF. Well it was absolutely the best decision we made when it came to searching for our aussie. The breeder was very helpful and professional. Elizabeth the aussies breeder was courteous, polite and offered to answer any questions we may have had. She was the ultimate professional, once we went through the required protocols for getting Beau we set up the date to meet her and the aussie pup. It was an absolute joy and when we actually saw him we knew he was the one. She and the trainer she has have done an outstanding job with Beau and he is absolutely one of a kind. I can only imagine what the rest of the pups are like. I would highly recommend Remy's BFF with a 5 plus star rating for the quality of the puppies they breed. They are well cared for, potty trained and taught basic commands. Beau has transitioned nicely into our family and is an absolute joy to have. We are so thankful for Elizabeth and hope that she will continue to breed top quality pets. The whole experience was worth its weight in gold.
I usually don't make online purchases unless I know the person or the company
I usually don't make online purchases unless I know the person or the company. When I started my search, I felt uneasy answering some of the questions. However, I realized that the questions I answered would benefit both the seller and me. I had to consider finding the right puppy for our lifestyle. And, I came to understand that the seller wanted to ensure their puppy was going to a good home. We are delighted to have found a breeder who was close to our home. The owner had given the puppy a bath and provided us with food, a blanket, toys, and instructions on what to feed him and when to schedule a vet appointment. It was a wonderful experience, and we couldn't be happier with our new puppy.
I was very skeptical of Good Dog — many breeders are not reputable and I was concerned about backyard breeders or puppy mills putting on a happy image and masquerading as good breeders on this site. But my experience was professional and pleasant. I did outside research on the breeder I found on Good Dog and followed up with an extensive phone conversation. She was professional and prepared for my questions. We adopted my puppy last weekend and she's an absolute angel. This is the real deal — do your own additional research and diligence to be sure, but you can absolutely find a great pup on this site. I reached out to their team to thank them for their work and they requested I leave a review here. I am not being compensated for this review in any way, just appreciative of the puppy in my life.
Very responsive site when you have website issues. East to work with the breeder through them for the deposit. I can’t wait to pick up my puppy next week. Other breeders who don’t use this site tended not to have credentials or breeding lineages that you could feel were screened properly for health disorders.
This was an easy find and an easy process. The application process was simple and the website was easy to navigate. The breeder was responsive and respectful. I have looked on many websites and resources and this was by far the easiest and most pleasant to use.
Using Good Dog to nail our search for a Dutch Shepard was amazing. We found a breeder right away and she has been very communicative and thorough. The flight nanny service is also extremely easy to use and our nanny has been wonderful to work with. We can’t wait to get our little guy in ten short days!
We were searching for a specific breed and unfortunately, some of our friends had a bad experience with a dishonest
We were searching for a specific breed and unfortunately, some of our friends had a bad experience with a dishonest puppy breeder. I came across Good Dog and then discovered ***. Although they were not cheap, the service we received was exceptional! Our little girl came to us already potty trained, accustomed to car rides, and not easily startled by noises. As a new mother, I had many questions in the beginning and *** was always prompt and supportive in her responses. I mentioned that the puppy whined, and she suggested that it was more of a protest, which helped me understand a dog's behavior better. We are extremely happy with our adorable girl! She keeps improving every day, and I am truly grateful for the excellent service and guidance we received from ***. I would definitely adopt from them again without hesitation.
Good Dog was a great source for finding a breeder we were looking for. Easy to work with and Would recommend them to anyone searching for a particular breed.
After coming across a couple of scammers and puppy mills I happened upon Good Dog. And I’m so glad I did —I was able to zero in on a reputable person to work with in finding our new pup. The application had very relevant questions so they could “vet” me , too, and make sure their pup was going to a loving home.
Good Dog was easy to deal with and I found my perfect little girl. I would definitely recommend going through them. Watch out for scammers out there! You can trust Good Dog.
I was impressed with the enthusiasm and helpfulness of Good Dog as they helped us search for a qualifed breeder from which to get a new puppy. And the articles they suggested were very helpful. *** was available to give advice and help us look. Thanks to all.
My grandmother, who has cancer and multiple sclerosis, had a strong desire to have a puppy
My grandmother, who has cancer and multiple sclerosis, had a strong desire to have a puppy. Unfortunately, she fell victim to online scammers. To help her, I took charge and registered on Good Dog. I quickly found various dappled mini dachshunds available all over the country and applied for the ones I knew she would adore. I received a prompt response to my application on Thursday and immediately arranged to travel from my location to the seller's location and back on Saturday. The owner met us at the airport with the adorable puppy and provided some items to make his journey home more comfortable. We traveled a long distance of 2500 miles, starting at 3:30 am and arriving at midnight. The dog behaved exceptionally well during the two flights and the long drive. He has not had any accidents and is overflowing with affection. I have never witnessed my grandmother form such a strong bond with anything before; she immediately embraced him for ten minutes.
Picked up my puppy today from ***. Sheila responded to all my questions during the process. I was a little nervous getting a puppy from on line but I couldn't be happier.
I appreciated your dedication in helping me find a beagle puppy. Thank you for providing information on how to prepare my home and how to manage the first month together with my beagle. I will feel confident asking for guidance from you, if needed.
Thanks for your help with choosing a breeder for our new family member; we are so impressed with *** Spaniels and their attention to detail both in their breeding records and care of the dogs. Your prescreen efforts was a huge relief in picking out the right breeder for us.
This website was so helpful when we were looking for a puppy. We definitely wanted a certified breeder, not a puppy mill. *** was amazing! We found our perfect pup. Would recommend this website.
I was on a mission to find my dream best friend, and after searching various websites, I came across GoodDog.com
I was on a mission to find my dream best friend, and after searching various websites, I came across GoodDog.com. I read the reviews to ensure it was not a scam. The platform is very user-friendly and provides detailed information about the breeder and the puppies. I fell in love with a chocolate labradoodle puppy in [location], and I made a road trip from [location] to pick him up. [Breeder's name] from [breeder's location] was incredibly amazing and kind throughout the entire process. She kept me updated and sent me photos of him. It is evident that she loves and cares deeply for her puppies. I am thrilled to have the puppy of my dreams, and the whole process went smoothly. Gizmo is such a sweetheart, and I can't get over how handsome and fluffy he is! :)
They made it easy to find a well bred dog from a great breeder that really cares about their dogs.
5 stars! I am new to searching online for my furry best friend, so this was a fresh experience. I browsed several breeders and found a place that piqued my interest. The name stood out to me. I was curious about the breeder and the types of puppies they offered. Upon clicking, I discovered a litter of furry babies in a variety of colors. There were details about the parents of the puppies. I saw an adorable picture of a puppy lying on her back with one paw up as if to greet everyone. The breeder approved my application and contacted me. I was reassured to see that she provided photos, videos, a social media presence, and a physical address for puppy pickup. The puppies are all healthy, playful, and receiving excellent care. Working with this breeder has been a wonderful experience. I am thrilled to have found Good Dog and would suggest it to anyone in search of a furry companion.
Finding a reputable breeder is a daunting exercise. Good Dog was able to provide this service by vetting hundreds of breeders throughout the U.S. and by ultimately connecting me with the names of several small breeders near me. The website was easy to navigate, and I was able to check daily on updates. And, I found through *** my precious little girl. The breeder was excellent to deal with, and I knew right away that they treated their dogs as part of the family.
This is a great place to find your perfect fur baby. I contacted this site looking for a rottweiler puppy for my two boys. They did such a great job getting me in touch with the right breeder. Such a good job we now have two pups from the breeder. I will be using again when I need/want a new puppy

I located the Breeder by the internet when looking for my specific breed of puppy who is affiliated w/Good Dog, Inc
I located the Breeder by the internet when looking for my specific breed of puppy who is affiliated w/Good Dog, Inc. The Breeder was friendly and her website was user friendly. I appreciated her extra measures she asks of a potential buyer to insure her puppies are getting the right fit with his or her new owners. We were able to do a meet and greet with our current dog to make sure it a good fit for all parties involved and with much success it was. We will be picking-up our new puppy this weekend once she turns 8 weeks old and can't wait. Good Dog, Inc. also reached out to me via email to see how my experience was with the breeder as well which I appreciated to make sure all of my needs were being met. I appreciated all who were involved in this process. Some of the other breeders whom I have been in touch with have a long wait list and were not part of the "Good Dog, Inc." association. Thank you.
Great resource!
Great resource! I'm really satisfied with this website as a buyer. I was searching for a sheltie puppy and the site was easy to navigate. You could filter by state, breed, and puppy availability. They even have links to rescues. There's also a secure payment system, and as a buyer, you get free classes. I do wish the fees for using the payment system were lower, but you're not obligated to use it, so you can arrange a private payment with the seller. The company representatives contacted me through email multiple times just to make sure everything was going smoothly. For the sellers, I'd like to mention that if you use the secure payment system, the buyer can't see your bank account details, so you're not exposed and the system doesn't deduct from your price. We found a happy, healthy puppy of our dreams on ComplaintsBoard.com. The breeder was and still is a very caring and conscientious person and very easy to communicate with. The entire process went very smoothly. Overall, we're very pleased with the whole experience.
If I could give Good Dog 100 stars, I would!
If I could give Good Dog 100 stars, I would! My husband's dream dog has always been a Belgian Malinois. He currently lives in another state with our son, while I live in a different city until our daughter goes to college in August. The distance between us makes our evenings boring and lonely. Just for fun, I started sending him pictures of beautiful dogs. When he showed interest, I searched for Belgian Malinois breeders in Alabama. The first website I found was GOOD DOG! In less than a week (while he was on a business trip in New Orleans), my husband spoke to the breeder over the phone and he will be picking up our puppy in 6 days! It feels like fate! I cannot thank GOOD DOG enough for helping me fulfill my husband's Father's Day dream when I am 875 miles away and unable to celebrate with him! I truly appreciate that Good Dog did all the research for me to connect us with a wonderful breeder! This has been an amazing experience!
I found my dream puppy thanks to Good Dog!
I found my dream puppy thanks to Good Dog! I found it very difficult to find a Belgian Malinois puppy online. A few websites were sketchy and not trust worthy / reputable by any means. I came across this website and was very pleased. It is super easy to navigate and find breeders within my state. I picked up my puppy this past Saturday. The breeder was very nice and absolutely was knowledgeable regarding the breed. She had a wonderful set-up outside for the dogs. Lots of land and an obstacle course. She recommended which puppy would be a good fit for what I was looking for. Luckily the puppy I wanted was one of the options. She took me to the puppies and let all of them run up to me. It was puppy heaven! She introduced me to the father of the pups. The mother was getting routine x-rays that day. After choosing the puppy I wanted, she trimmed his nails. I had such a wonderful experience, and I informed her that when I am ready for puppy number 2 I will 100% be back! I have already recommended this website to some of my patients looking for a puppy. I am so happy with my outcome!
I had a great experience
I had a great experience. The person I communicated with was very prompt in responding and had a lot of knowledge about the breed. She wasn't pushy at all and told me about the puppy's parents. The father is a therapy dog for hospitals, which was a big plus for me. It made me feel good and gave me confidence that the puppy would have a good temperament. The puppy won't be available for a few weeks until it's 8 weeks old. She offered to send pictures during the wait, which I thought was very kind. So far, my experience on Gooddog.com and with the breeder has been very positive. I highly recommend giving this site a try. They also show a lot of interest in your family and any pets you already have by asking you to fill out an application. I think that's a great way to ensure that the family and the puppy will be compatible, considering it's a long-term commitment. Buying a breed or any dog is a big decision, as puppies are always cute but they grow up and require a lot of time and energy to take care of properly. I recommend that anyone looking for a specific breed and wanting to add a new member to their family give Gooddog.com a chance!
It is important to find a trustworthy breeder, and Gooddog can assist you with that
It is important to find a trustworthy breeder, and Gooddog can assist you with that. I have a personal experience to share. A few years ago, my family decided to get a dog. We noticed that our neighbor had two dogs from a local breeder. The breeder was also listed on Gooddog's website and had advertisements in the local newspaper. We thought everything was fine and proceeded to get a puppy. However, after 1 1/2 years, our dog started experiencing health issues. We had to take him to the vet multiple times, seek second opinions, and even travel to a neighboring state for surgery. The surgery was a total hip replacement on his left side, which cost us over $6,000. Unfortunately, we still need to do the same surgery on his other side. The financial aspect aside, it was heartbreaking to witness our beloved pet in so much pain and fear. I have pictures that would deeply sadden you. The only explanation for a young puppy needing such a surgery is that he was born with the condition. Fast forward another 1 1/2 years, and our dog is now three years old. We want to find a companion for him, but we are unsure where to find a reputable breeder. Our previous breeder turned out to be unreliable and unethical. What is even worse is that ComplaintsBoard.com still advertises her puppies for sale on their website. We discovered that it is simply a paid classified ad with no screening process from ComplaintsBoard.com, and they do not seem to care that she is running a puppy mill. After conducting thorough research, I came across Gooddog.com. I conducted extensive searches and finally found a reputable breeder. Now, we are patiently waiting for the right time to bring another puppy into our family. I understand that you may be eager to get a puppy immediately, but rushing into a decision can lead to serious mistakes. Take your time and find a reputable breeder. If this is a surprise or a gift, you can still present the recipient with photos of puppies from the breeder and even arrange a visit if permitted. Utilize this time to prepare for the arrival of the puppy as well. Whatever you do, do not rush the process of getting a puppy. Use Gooddog.com and communicate with the breeders. Step one: find a reputable breeder; Step two: prepare for the arrival of the puppy; Step three: enjoy many years with a healthy dog. I wish you the best of luck.
If we could give a million stars to Good Dog, we would!
If we could give a million stars to Good Dog, we would! We greatly appreciate their service and we are still in the process of picking our puppy. We live in central *** and there were no available breeders. Good Dog has provided us with peace of mind and safety by connecting us with reputable breeders who genuinely care about their puppies and the people who purchase them. Before finding Good Dog, we were feeling discouraged. We had been in contact with other people and breeders multiple times, only to discover that they were scammers. Good Dog has given us a trusted platform to explore breeders and their healthy puppies that meet the proper standards. Initially, we planned on purchasing two puppies from *** with Good Dog. However, they educated us about litter mate syndrome and wisely advised us to raise one puppy to adulthood before introducing another. After conducting extensive research, we realized the value of this advice. We were amazed by the breeder's genuine concern for her puppies and the families welcoming them into their homes. It is rare to find such individuals of integrity in this world. We are incredibly grateful to Good Dog for connecting us with this caring breeder. We will forever be thankful to Good Dog for guiding us in the right direction, encouraging us to be patient in our search, and regularly checking in with us to see if we had any questions (thank you, Cameron!). They have provided us with a safe and reliable environment to find our new precious companion to share our lives with. We highly recommend Good Dog for anyone searching for a puppy.
GoodDog is a scam
GoodDog is a scam…buyer and breeder beware. There are MANY negative reviews for a reason.
Scam 1. “Buyer protection”. GoodDog does not actually “protect” the buyers. They collect a fee to “protect you” when in fact what they do is “ask” the breeder if they are willing to do anything about a dispute. If the breeder says no, GoodDog tells you too bad, the breeders’ policies are enforced, and you are out of luck.
Scam 2. Payments. GoodDog demands that all payments are processed through their website. They bury the option to use an ACH payment, which has no fee, and makes it very hard for the buyer to find and use that option. They instead make the default payment include the “buyer protection” and charge you for this “service”.
Scam 3. GoodDog stands behind their breeders. GoodDog absolutely does not stand behind the breeders. They allow anyone with a grudge to make a complaint. They immediately shut down the breeder’s profiles while they “investigate”. Even if you prove the complaints are not valid or that GoodDog did not show a policy violation or other made-up complaint, they won’t stand behind the breeder.
When GoodDog initially set out, I was one of the early breeders. Not only did I actively support this company, but I also personally referred MANY breeders and steered many homes to this site. In other words, I helped build this company up.
In my circumstance, whoever was emailing lied. I proved they lied and that I complied with EVERY policy and procedure, as well as their directions. They were supplied with every single piece of information they asked for and then some. I voluntarily submitted additional information, witness statements, photos etc. In the end, despite the transparency, they refused to reinstate the account even though there was not one policy I did not comply with.
I have been told by MANY high-quality breeders that they have had similar interactions. GoodDog is all about increasing their numbers to give the “illusion” they are a legitimate, quality site to shop from when in reality there are many mills on their site that are allowed to continue while legitimate high-quality breeders are not supported. It is truly despicable that people are allowed to lie about each other and GoodDog refuses to do the right thing.
Recommendation: avoid this platform at all costs
Good Dog Complaints 6
This site is awful!
I left a review a month ago and seems it was deleted. I will just keep writing it here and other places so it's seen! So, I purchased a puppy from Tracy Maglioli from 'Lux shihtzu of New England. ' I picked him up May 1st. When I got the puppy home he was eating his poop. Every time he pooped, I'd have to hurry up and get before he did. I'm sure she knew this was happening, she didn't tell me that!
He also was scratching at his ear pretty bad and I took him to the vet the next day, they said he had an ear infection. Again, she had to have known. We slowly introduced him to our 5 year old pug but after two weeks, my pug was too stressed out and didn't like the puppy.
I had messaged Tracy and told her about it and I told her I may have to give him back. She said she would take him back and told me that there are no refunds, but if he sells him, she will give me half back.
I was happy with that because the dog was $2250 and then the rediculous fees that 'good dog' charges, brought me to almost $2400, so knowing I'd get something back was nice. And keep in mind, I only had the puppy for two weeks! Two weeks!
Well fast forward a couple days after I dropped him off. She said she gave him to her cousin and will not be giving me any money back. I told her that wasn't fair, that was her choice to do that, she should still give me something.
So she basically gave her cousin a puppy that I paid for. I sent her a final text that she never answered. The next day I contacted 'Good dog' and they contacted her and then told me there is nothing they can do. That is total bull$#*!
I understand she said no refunds but she shouldn't have told me she'd give me half back then. And who knows if she really just gave him to her cousin, that's what she says.
There aren't many nice people in this world and I did the right thing by giving her the dog back so she could find him a good home, I could have sold him and got my money back!
She could have given me something, and this app for not backing customers is wrong, too. I had the dog for two weeks and lost $2400, that is so not fair! So please don't purchase a dog from this site. Absolutely awful!
Exhausting and Disappointing Experience
Overall horrible experience. Let me preface by saying this breeder was hand selected/sent to me as a reputable one. What was overall the worst part that I want to reiterate is that even when I provided multiple screenshots, texts, photos etc. proving "my side" that the breeder was completely disengaged and rude - they still asked me to compromise in the end again for a second time.
I worked with multiple team members who passed me along ending with a senior manager level person who communicated with me for 4-5 weeks to "help resolve my issue" which she ultimately just had me follow up on my end with the difficult breeder (who already was rude, non responsive, told me this was not a fit for me) despite my saying that it was uncomfortable I still did per their request. After weeks of back and for the of us BOTH not hearing from the breeder, they proceeded to let me know they would finally initiate my reimbursement by the 7/15 and when I received one text (randomly after weeks of zero communication) from the breeder saying "you can come in 5 days to pickup the puppy" they tell me they wouldn't honor the reimbursement as the breeder offering me the puppy again "shows they are trying to resolve the situation". I could say much more but want this review to stay up so others do not have to deal with the challenge and emotionally draining experience of expecting a puppy to join your family - you buy everything to make it a home for them - then are told you are not a fit and zero response - return everything you bought to then receive a text saying here you can actually still have one...
The good dog rep I spoke with was nice enough every time she followed up but in our last dialogue I realized she was gas lighting me and I could not believe the customer service up to this point. When I made it very clear that I would not be proceeding with this breeder (rightfully so...) she again repeated the policy to me, continued to express that the breeder was now showing good faith/resolution (after multiple screenshots of proof were sent to show otherwise) they still expected me to follow up and "clarify" I would not want to move forward and she would have to check with her team. Again for more context, this is after I have received voicemails from Good Dogs team saying they deactivated this womens account, apologized to me profusely yet still handled the situation this way still.
I at this point am past the frustration of losing my over $500 deposit with good dog but more just extremely disappointed that they handled every step of this situation poorly. The sr good dog manager who worked with me through this actually said back to me in our last conversation "we have delivered on being responsive and trying to assist" but also felt the need to remind me that we have talked each week to work on this... I understand that the response time has been decent but this is part of the job and to her point, "what you pay for with insurance" and you could then easily tell - the minute there was a way to get out of paying the reimbursement on their end, they took it. A company who to them $500 is probably not that much but to someone who personally went through a crappy experience with their team/breeder - that money was/is a lot.
This may not even go anywhere but hopefully it helps someone avoid making the same mistakes I did with trusting good dog, the customer service and insurance they offer.
Thanks if you made it all the way through. If anyone would like more detail let me know.
Underwhelming Vetting Process at Good Dog: A Review from a Colleague
This review comes from a colleague who recently reached out to Good Dog to inquire about potentially listing their company through the platform. Unfortunately, their experience with the "vetting" process left a lot to be desired. It would seem that there is minimal expertise involved in this process, as the individual responsible for vetting companies appears to be nothing more than an intern type lacking in any real knowledge of the industry.
What's concerning is that the vetting process seems to boil down to simply Googling the company and investigating any potential negative reviews. In this particular case, it turned out that the reviews in question weren't even pertaining to the correct company, highlighting the lack of attention to detail present at Good Dog.
Given these issues, it's important to note that any company considering listing through Good Dog would be wise to do their own research and complete their own due diligence before making any decisions. Relying on Good Dog alone could lead to issues down the line, potentially even contributing to the perception that the platform is nothing more than a scam.
Overall, the experience of this colleague suggests that Good Dog is far from the ideal solution for companies hoping to list on their site. Given the ease with which individuals can often find information online, it would seem that there is little value in using a site that cannot even properly vet companies in the first place.

My Disappointing Experience with Good Dog: The Dark Truth about this Puppy Broker
I had such high hopes for Good Dog (gooddog.com), but my experience left me feeling extremely disappointed. As a dog lover, I was appalled when I stumbled upon evidence that the website was supporting a puppy mill that was selling sick dogs. Despite reporting the issue to multiple parties, the puppy mill owners just made excuses and refused to take responsibility for their actions.
It's disheartening to see that Good Dog is nothing more than a sham, with a sole purpose of making money by acting as a puppy broker. There seems to be no emphasis on ensuring the health, happiness, and comfort of the poor pups they're selling. It's all about the benjamins, sadly.
I'd suggest doing thorough research if you're looking to bring a furry friend home. There are plenty of legitimate and trustworthy breeders out there who care about the wellbeing of their animals. It would help if you asked questions and pay close attention to reviews and recommendations.
All in all, I can't recommend Good Dog, and I implore them to do better. They need to shift their focus from profit to the welfare of the dogs they're selling. It's incredibly troubling to see websites like this exploit these innocent creatures for monetary gain.
My Disappointing Experience with Good Dog: Unreliable Practices and Disillusioned Pet Search
As someone who is avidly searching for their next furry companion, it is natural to want a reliable and trustworthy source from which to find and adopt a new puppy. Unfortunately, my experience using Good Dog (gooddog.com) has left me feeling more than a little disillusioned with their practices.
Initially, I approached one of Good Dog's breeders based in Crystal, Florida, who specialised in the Dachshund breed. However, despite numerous attempts to get in contact with the breeder via phone, I found that I was only able to communicate with them through email, which left me feeling deeply unsure and uneasy.
In an effort to put my mind at ease, I requested that I be allowed to come to their location to meet the puppies I was interested in buying and make my deposit in person. However, this request was met with complete silence, and the only response I received was a request for payment through email, which did nothing to alleviate my concerns.
As an animal lover and experienced pet owner, I understand how important it is to purchase a pet from a reputable source. But, after this experience with Good Dog, I cannot help but feel as though their practices are unprofessional, and their breeders may not be as trustworthy as they claim to be.
Overall, my experience with using Good Dog has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I felt as though I was being led on a wild goose chase, and this ultimately left me without the furry companions I had set my heart on. For other prospective pet owners considering Good Dog, I urge you to exercise caution and be prepared to receive conflicting and often, unreliable information.
Cautionary Tale: Severe Parasites and Infections from Good Dog Certified Breeder - Costly Emergency ($$$) - Buyer Beware!
As a concerned pet owner, I recently purchased a new addition to our family through Good Dog (gooddog.com) from one of their certified breeders. Unfortunately, within a mere 24 hours of bringing our new puppy home, he had to be admitted to the ICU with severe parasites and three different bacterial infections. The medical treatment required to nurse him back to health cost us thousands of dollars, which was an unexpected shock to our household finances.
I must commend the breeder for checking in on our puppy's progress and being pleasant to work with, but she did not offer any financial assistance in addressing this costly medical emergency. I must warn other pet lovers that this experience is one that should be approached with caution when considering Good Dog as your resource for finding a new furry friend.
I must emphasize that the breeding community has an ethical and financial responsibility to properly care for and maintain the health of their puppies. I was deeply disturbed to discover the condition of my new pet, and my unfortunate experience serves as a warning to others seeking a reputable breeder.
I cannot in good faith recommend Good Dog as a reliable source for finding reputable breeders as my experience was one that was far from responsible breeding practices. As a warning, I've attached an example picture of the parasites that were found in my puppy following his worming at the ICU visit. The veterinarians were visibly shaken by the severity of the parasites, which is evidence of inadequate breeding and vetting processes. It is always best to take every precaution when selecting a breeder and doing in-depth research on their history and practices.
