suspected scamming of grab fares.
I live in Penang. on the date 30/11/17, me and my friend booked a Just Grab whom number plate is HP2615, from Gurney Plaza to Lintang Paya Terubong 2, intermediate drop-off is Medan Lumba Kuda. The original price fees is RM22. But I used the Promo-Code NEWGRABRIDE which is available for my new account that applies a RM10 discount to my my Grab Fares.I dropped off at Medan Lumba Kuda and told the driver that my friend will pay him when he arrives at Lintang Paya Terubong 2. Upon arriving at the final destination, the driver charged my friend RM22 instead of RM12, thus rendering my Promo-Code used yet ineffective. The driver also attempted to charge us according to his own taxi fares which is RM30 before my friend reminding him to charge in accordance to the Grab Fares. I am requesting a partial refund for the overcharged RM10 which the driver gave us and evidence will be submitted via this complaint. I also hope that appropriate actions will be taken towards this driver if he is proven guilty. (Driver's name is Govindasamy A/L Kannan)

Hye, on 12:59pm 27 November 2017. I was driving around jalan klang lama. Suddenly an Alza with plate number WXH 7651 come across from third line to the exit on the left side. He drove very fast, cut line, and suddenly brake in front of me. When i sounded the horn, he drove away. He also almost hit a motorcycle and a car. I don't know why he did that, but he drive like a mad man and will endanger the others. I know he was a grab driver because the Grab sticker on all over his car. Please find this man and remind him to respect others and care about others safety. Thank you.

My husband and I caught a taxi grab from taxi driver you kok mang from kl bird park to sunway pyramid as we were leaving taxi driver pushed something under seat it was not till we realized and left taxi I was the phone. Before leaving taxi the driver said. Get out get out. We rang phone and the gps at phone center machines said the phone was in taxi car. Then the phone was erased and couldn't locate phone. Please be warned. We rang grab company and they gave us his details phone number we rang and denied everything. He is a opertunist and foreigners need to be warned. We are very upset has all our family photos and our memories.

hye...On 13 November 2017 (Monday) around 5pm-6pm I've book grab car at (my location-Lorong Kekabu) and (destination-Jalan Pasir Belanda). So my driver was Shankar a/l Rajoo(contact no. [protected]). While I'm booking my apps didn't show my driver profile including his arrival time and his car number. Right after my booking he called me to confirm my location.then, he reached at Farmasi Permatang Damar Laut he called me back ask me to come over there then I soda that my Location was at Nur Cemerlang Lorong Kekabu Desa Jelita. So I asked him to come to my location then he said what will I (reporter) will do if he(driver) come to me location? So I said what nonsense are talking amount and I cut the call while saying will cancel the book. So sifter I cancel the driver(shankar) he keep calling me more about 4times. So here I want to say... Grabcar Malaysia please take an action on this kind of grab driver. So if don't receive any reply from Grabcar Malaysia I will file a police complain and will viral this issue. Thank You. bad attitude and irresponsible driver!
I use Grabcar service quite frequent. Yet yesterday for the first time I experience a bad service. The driver accept my booking and state there need wait for 5 minutes. Yet after more than 15 minutes he not reach and not even giving me a call and message. And I suspect he turn of data and i lost the tracking. I am wondering he will come or not. After wait for too long, at last I call him and ask him whether receive my booking or not, he say yes. After i wait more than 15 minutes, he no show face, no call, no msg and no update me. I call few times only get him and ask him, he answer like not willing to entertainment me and say because of jam. The problem is isnt it he should update me the situation? I waiting fro him beside the road more than 40 minutes! He is irresponsible at all! Make me pissed off indeed! Frankly i felt he purposely turn off and dont want let me track his place and FORCE ME CANCEL BOOKING! For the 1st time i cancel booking due to such kind of driver!

Dear Miss/Sir, ...Please some time think of other people(Grab car driver also is human being). They have family to take care.If you are going to some places with heavy jam at busy time.You have to prepare yourself for this situation. Not the driver want to do this, they have not other choices. Do you know..? Grab car want to force driver to maintain the Acceptance rate in order to get the incentive...The Grab driver work for the whole day morning wake up at 6am working until night 10pm, if the driver not keep the Acceptance rate...whole day incentive gone...so who suffer the lost?(there are few hundred ringgit there). By this way, Grab car company can save back their incentive...this is what grab car done for the driver.
You just cancel this trip when u wit so long and re book again, what so difficult...you even not loss anything.

I am so disappointed about the service of this driver which is "grab driver ".
First, the grab app gps can't search the location that I want to go so I key in the address that is nearby the destination. When I get in the car, I told the driver and ask him for sent me to there. He answered me okay.
Due to the traffic jam issue, the time taken became long. He started angry with me and talk impolitely. He complained me and scold me that I am wasting his time.
Before that, I satisfied the service of grab but this time not.This is the first time when I am taking grab and scolded by driver. This is so terrible. I am paying money for driving service not for scolded by driver.
Please take action for this issue to prevent such case on other customers. Thanks you

Grab Taxi meter car number: HBB 2333
In Grab app showing my destination charges around RM16 to RM26.
But your Grab Taxi meter want to earn more money, he took long way and go to jam area, he using waze app and already show the shortcut direction to avoid the jam but he did not want to follow waze app road.
The destination only 20 min but end up become 45 min because he want to earn more money.
When reach the destination meter show is RM 30.50 but he press the meter stop button, end up become RM 32.50. (additional RM 2 is for booking taxi fee).
So my advised to all of you, do not used Grab Taxi meter, tipu orang punya.
Grab car malaysia company would not read our complaining and give us the solution. because in the business only money number 1, service is last.
In their company website did not have e-mail for us to complain.
We complain here not used, they would not read.
Next time, you just take the bus ok. Easy and cheap.

I was just taken a Grab car on 29/10/2017, it was my unsatisfied ride experience ever, i stay at an apartment at Blk J, and the Driver told me that my pin point is wrong, he said pin point only at front guard house, which was approximately 100meters from my house, he told me RM10/- ringgit is not enough, i offer him RM11/- he told me actually ur house no people wanna fetch, and too far and blar...blar... blar... He told me lot of nonsense, which i think is really ridiculous, finally i told him i add to RM12/- then only he stop. I told him, u said wrong pin point, why earlier i key in the same location and the driver didn't not mentioned is wrong? If i m not bringing a kid, and it's raining, i would rather just walk, and why i choose to take grabcar? I hope Grabcar customer service can give me a CALL or explain to me isn't it i should pay the driver more, if next timw i have encounter such same situation?

I have been a loyal customer of your company since October; 2016; and I have used your services numerous time, which is verifiable. I was a Platinum member, not until yesterday night when everything changed. I was updating my profile on 24/10/2016, when I was asked to update via, facebook, google, and phone number verification. I chose the phone number verification method, because I wanted to update just my phone number from [protected] to [protected], and the email address: [protected]@gmail.com, and my registered name is CHIEF.
The whole thing changed. I was re-registered as a new member, and I am being ask to verify the same email address. My points all wiped off. It is the same phone I am using, just the phone number I wanted to update.
Kindly, restore me back to the position I was before the whole thing happen.

On September the 17th 2017, I had my worst ride-share experience ever. For the last 3 years I have been using Uber throughout the world, always receiving impeccable service. However, at the recommendation of a friend, I tried GrabCar for the first time on this trip, as I had heard GrabCar offered lower fares. Now I can see why - I won't be making that mistake again.
On the date in question, I was shopping at The Pavilion KL and needed a trip to Isetan to pick up some shopping on hold, then to my hotel 'The Ritz Carlton', then the airport. I booked the first GrabCar with trip ID ADR-[protected]-2-004. I then went inside, fetched my items and then we went to my hotel to collect my luggage and then we headed to the airport, I began to book the trip through the GrabCar app. The driver told me this was not necessary and informed me that he had already done this on his end. I was very skeptical of this since no Uber driver has ever done this, but he assured me this was a normal part of GrabCar service. I mentioned that the standard KLIA fare was RM65, which he agreed to.
When we eventually arrived at KLIA (after he made several wrong exits), the driver demanded a fare of RM250 cash. I insisted that the fare was RM65 plus tolls and that I wouldn't be paying any more than that. He began to become quite heated with me, insisting that I pay him the extortionate fare. As my flight was departing soon and I felt my partners and my safety was threatened, I attempted to haggle him down. He refused to go any lower than RM200, claiming that this was normal and I was wrong about the fare. Desperate to get out of the car and onto my flight, I paid him the fare and took my bags.
This is the most disgusting experience I have ever received. Immediately, I demand a full credit of the RM200 I was forced into paying. I have never experienced this kind of scamming with Uber, and do not tolerate being extorted.
I have since submitted 3 tickets to try and get a resolution to this experience, but still, have not had anything resolved, I first ticket number is ([protected]), all my details are inside this ticket.
Also, I have tried calling GRAB supports 1300 with no success, it does not work from Australia, (+[protected])

The incident happen at 13th October 2017 afternoon 12:06PM. I have made a grab car order through the Apps which was booking grab from 5 Jalan Kangar, Alor Setar to KTM Arau Railway Station Lobby. The driver Name as [removed] with car plate number [removed] accept my order and calling to confirm my extract location, and I has reply I am waiting in front of the Toyota Kangar service center (shoplot). Additional information, Kangar was having raining at the moment during placed order.
After few minute the driver was call back for the arrival with impolite tone as did not see me then I walk to the road side of Toyata Kangar service center in order to look for the grab, but I cannot see any car with plate number [removed][ (Car Model Axia :White). After few minute conversation between me and driver i found out the grab was stop by the main road which is before the traffic light and the driver order me and my friend to walk out to reach him and without waiting for my reply direct hang out my phone.
During the moment, Kangar still raining and the road was full of small pond of water, and your driver was using the impolite tone to order me to walk t him and without get my permission and hang out my phone. I seriously feel like irrespective by him, and i pay money for him to scold me. After then, i walk back to the small coffee shop and talk to my friend about your driver attitude and your driver call back again to question me why I walk back and order me to walk to him again and HANG MY PHONE AGAIN without get my reply. I WAS TOTALLY BLUR AT THE TIME, AM I THE CUSTOMER OR HE IS THE CUSTOMER, WHY I WANT TO PAY HIM TO SCOLD ME. AM I ABNORMAL? Then I decide to cancel the booking and I have apology to the driver as I had cancel the booking, and your driver scold at me for playing with his service and said I cant cancel the booking in the phone and i compromise with him if he drive in to the shoplot then I will take the grab and he ASK ME TO WALK TO HIM AGAIN. WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR DRIVEN, HOW CAN HE DID NOT RESPECT MY SPEECH AS I ALREADY SAID IF HE DRIVE IN TEHN I TAKE GRAB IF HE DON'T THEN I WILL CANCEL. All this conversation was through phone call by your driver with contact number +[protected]. Then he walk down from the car and threaten me said I was playing him and he will report to the Grab Service and block me to use any grab service anymore. IS THAT THE ATTITUDE SHOULD HAVE BY YOUR DRIVEN.
To be honor I feel my safety was threaten at the moment as there are few cases happen in recently the Uber drive violate toward the customer, and at the moment I with my other lady friend to face the GRAB DRIVEN (GUY).
I directly ignore him at the moment and look for other grab service through my friend's smart phone and your driven was called to your service hotline, i guess. By the end, he was leave and I and my friend finally feel safe and on board other friendly and good attitude grab driven to Arau Train station.
In this email, I would suggest to strict control the driven quality as I hope not meet any GRAB DRIVEN WITH THREATEN TONE TOWARD THE CUSTOMER. At the same time, I'm studying at Kangar, Perlis and will book grab again in the near future. I hope you can block the same driver to receive my booking. As I'm not sure will this driver just drop me at any road side for reverse and this make me feel insecure to drive with Grab.
Sincerely, hope your company will take action on checking the driver quality. I did not want to get any remuneration from your company, I'm here to give the feedback and experience toward this driver.

Hi I am Edmund. Just now I took a grab car to my home which is located at Bandar Puteri Puchong. The drive say I send the wrong pickup place and he rudely calling me a Bangladesh for not telling the right address. Only a Bangla will order grabcar like this. Fyi, I am a freaking Chinese. He also said that grab driver do not look for customer, but customer the one need to look for grab driver.

I have at my condo downstair to wait him come, he just stay outside and ignore my message. I have told him which block I stay and I already waiting. When I ask him go inside the condominium block I stay to fetch me, he tell me say he got extra charges. For plenty of time I used grab, no driver will say for extra charge. grabshare fraud
Grab share is about picking up 2 passengers along the route and dropping off along the same destination with both passengers paying a different fare whereby drivers earn a little extra and passengers get a discount!
Ever since Grab Malaysia implemented Grab Share, it is NEVER about the above policy!
Grab drivers are issued Grab Share jobs at discounted fares for a single or a couple or a family or a group of friends getting on at the same pick up point and dropping all at the same drop-off destination! Passengers get their discounted fares, Grab gets their 25% commission BUT the poor drivers driving the same distance as would a Grabcar job paying the same petrol price, using the same travelling time for a 30% less fare! This clearly shows that Grab is cheating drivers of their hard earned income by implementing the Grab Share program that obviously either doesn't work or is clearly being manipulated! What is Grab Management doing about this? I guess NOTHING AT ALL since I have been complaining through several emails with no intelligent and constructive replies from the Support Team least the Management!

I received promo code. For the past few weeks I can't use the promo code. When I search for the promo code it appears. After I chased it shows fully used. I'm unable to utilize the promo code fully. What's the point of being crab customer for almost 5 years?
I called the customer service.. u people asking me to try again. I tried and same issue occurred. Refer to the photos attached!

I am a new grabcar driver and I experienced few problems when I called and also after visiting the website.
Words used on the webpage is confusing (for example like u have to opt-in once) but afer calling customer support, one of the lady who handled me said that I have to opt in every week for the programme.
I submitted my opt-in form like a week ago and yet to receive the confirmation about my status.(11/9/17 submitted) today, 17/9 no response yet.
Poor customer support for riders and also grabbers.
I tried as a rider as well by trying to ask for some clarification regarding the incentives but however I found out that other drivers(quite a number) experienced the same thing (not understanding words used on the webpage)
Even when I called the customer support the staffs who handled me was unable to assist but merely asked me to email for further clarification.
Why so? As a big platform please improve so that you don't lose grabbers as well as riders.
Another thing that I realized, the sentence like (for loyal grabbers-special incentives) why so? As grabbers, people who are driving are driving for some extra pocket money so why are you stopping the privilege that drivers get from competitors? Other competitors did not mention about this. Please review.
Next, as riders not everyone who is riding using the app(some are booking for friends which I personally encountered and also personally used to book for my friends and also my parents) so why is there such a requirement as( 4.7 ratings in order to qualify for incentives? ) some riders don't even care to rate properly according to services provided by drivers.(This is a drawback for drivers to enable themselves for incentives)
I do not mean to complain but I personally wrote this to ask your site who are involved regarding this or who are handling this to review further and act accordingly.
I personally felt there are many drivers who think the way I am thinking too.
Expecting only cash or grab pay from riders isn't sufficient to cut cost for today's economy. Please review again the requirements stated on the webpage and also the way customer support deals with riders and also drivers

disappointed with grab staff
Hi,
I really dissapointed with grab staff that incharge for my car inspection in Kota Kinabalu. My car was inspected on 24 th August 2017 Thursday by male staff and everythings went well from filled up the form and photo of my car. He told me just to wait for 3 days message from Grab. Unfortunately until 7th Sept there is no message and what really disspointed is the reason from the male staff is lost of my document and photos. Without any appologize at all for the mistake. Its really not ethic at all and ask me to come and do the inspection back. Indeed, i feel no more intend to be Grab driver because of his ethic through phone.
I hope Grab can improve and give priority to a good staff service in the future.
