The way me and my wife were treated was so disgusting that I can’t even say the things they said
The way me and my wife were treated was so disgusting that I can’t even say the things they said. We got a store credit for $2500.00 that we could never use and we asked for a refund but they care more about keeping your money. I trusted Team Dave Logan but they didn't help and they still promote them. If the ComplaintsBoard.com supports these types of businesses, it says a lot about your standards. Maybe you can help?
We bought our countertops on 4/29/2022
We bought our countertops on 4/29/2022. On 05/15/2022, we had to pay the remaining (1/2) balance. We set a delivery/install date, but on the install date, we had to reschedule the delivery. Later, we were notified that the countertops needed sanding to get them ready, so we had to reschedule again. The scheduled install date and time was 8:00, but they didn't show up. We made several phone calls to Stone Crafters (the installers) and Granite Depot, and the countertops were finally delivered at noon the next day. The installers need eight hours to install, and they left at 8:15 p.m. We were thankful that they worked diligently to complete the job. However, we were told that the countertops couldn't be sealed yet because they were still wet from sanding and needed two weeks to dry. The next day, we called Stone Crafters to schedule the sealing, but the date came and went without any action. Stone Crafters informed us that they needed another three weeks for the countertops to dry. Today, 9/11/2022, at 9:11 a.m., we called Stone Crafters about the missed appointment, and the finishers still haven't shown up. The communication between the scheduling and install departments is very poor. Finally, we managed to speak with the manager of the scheduling department, and hopefully, they will address the issue today. We have had to reschedule doctor's appointments, other events, and even missed our granddaughter's basketball tournament out of state this weekend.
I made a big mistake choosing Granite Depot for my cabinet and countertop needs
I made a big mistake choosing Granite Depot for my cabinet and countertop needs. I compared them to other companies, but boy was that a mistake. The supply chain was a mess. I purposely picked stock cabinets that could be delivered on time, and the salesperson confirmed this. But when it was time to pick up the cabinets, Granite Depot hadn't paid the distributor. So, I couldn't get my fully paid-for cabinets until their check cleared. This delayed the delivery by a whopping 4 days. The salesperson assured me that everything was fine with the cabinets, except for a damaged trash can. No big deal, right? Well, turns out the skin was damaged and warped, and there wasn't enough trim. I called to get this sorted out, but a week later, the product still hadn't been paid for. And guess what? The distributor had to wait for their check to clear again, which meant another week of waiting for me.
To make matters worse, the fabricator who came to measure for the countertop told me that I couldn't use my previously used sink for an undermount installation. There was no mention of this in the contract or anywhere else. So now I have to buy a new sink. Oh, and did I mention that I had to cancel the template measurement four times because of their incompetence?
Granite Depot's lack of transparency, poor communication, and business practices are not worth any potential savings. In fact, it will end up costing you. I ignored the reviews because I thought only unhappy customers posted them (silly me), but now I realize my mistake. I've done four kitchen remodels before, and I've never encountered such terrible customer service and lack of professionalism. Seriously, think ten times before using Granite Depot. Just a heads up, the last positive review was in 2019.
We worked with 2 reps and they were very helpful and nice with us, especially the counter rep
We worked with 2 reps and they were very helpful and nice with us, especially the counter rep. - Geoffrey. However, when we spoke with the cabinet rep. - Derek it was a totally different experience. He started asking several different questions about what we were looking for. We told him the truth that this was our very 1st visit to a one of these shops, so we were not sure what we were looking for. He continued to ask us questions about what style/height of cabinets we were looking for. We could not answer him. He told us that other customers that come in already have this information. We reiterated that this was our 1st visit to one of these shops. It was obvious he was getting frustrated with us. I told him that that we might be a little unprepared, but we just wanted some simple questions answered. And if he could give us a “rough” estimate. We showed him a drawing of our kitchen with measurements. At this point he told us that he had to mention that his cabinets were taking up to 5 months to get. We told him that would probably not work for us. But that we still wanted an estimate even if it was off by 1000’s. We just wanted to get an idea what Granite Depots costs. We even made it as easy as possible for him by picking one of their models to use as a sample. He just needed to use the measurements in our drawing. Finally, he took us into the cabinet ordering area. Upon arriving he asked us 2 questions, what color & style we wanted the cabinets. Me and my wife were perplexed as to why he was asking us this after we told him to use the model’s colors, styles. So we picked a color & style. Suddenly, he said he had to go to the bathroom. When he came back, the only thing he told us was that “if the 5 months wait for cabinets did not work for us it was not worth his time to write up an estimate”. We did not know that kitchen cabinet estimates at Granite Depot have strings attached and that you must be a semi- expert in kitchen cabinets before you walk in. Since then we have been to several other places and have had 1 in-house estimate done for new cabinets and countertop. Every single time we have been treated with respect and the feeling that they want our business.

Granite Depot, Inc
Granite Depot, Inc. is a company that caught our attention with their TV advertisement about offering installation services before Christmas. Intrigued, we decided to give them a shot. We carefully picked out the items we wanted and went through all the necessary steps. However, it seems like they struggled with getting the contract pricing correct. To our disappointment, they eventually informed us that they couldn't fulfill their promise and honor the agreed-upon pricing.
We bought granite for a countertop on Labor Day 2020, but it still ain't been installed right
We bought granite for a countertop on Labor Day 2020, but it still ain't been installed right. *** is the company that makes the granite, and they done broke it into pieces and ain't finished installing the rest of the granite we bought. On April 5 me and my wife went to Granite Depot to find laundry room and bathroom cabinets and granite surfaces
On April 5 me and my wife went to Granite Depot to find laundry room and bathroom cabinets and granite surfaces. We met with a lady named Virginia. She showed us a composite cabinet door and Virginia convinced us to buy composite cabinets for the laundry room. We also bought them for the bathroom. Granite Depot never gave us detailed invoices. We paid for the cabinets and made a down payment for the granite to reserve it. We waited almost 10 weeks for the cabinets to arrive. Then a few days later, the installers came and we found several mistakes made by Granite Depot. The cabinets were not composite, only the doors were. The waterproof bottom in the sink cabinet was missing. The lower cabinets were the wrong size, they were about 3 inches deeper than what we ordered. The bathroom cabinet is too deep and we can't open the door. I called GD about the bathroom issue. Then on 6/9 GD asked for the remaining payment for the granite. If we don't pay, they will cancel the granite installation.

In April , Granite Depot, Inc
In April , Granite Depot, Inc. did the granite countertops for me. But when they delivered and installed it, I found out that the countertop was cracked in a bunch of places. Turns out, the crack happened when they were making it in their own shop. They tried to fix it with epoxy glue and some metal stuff, but it didn't really work. The order sheet we agreed on said there would be one seam at the kitchen sink, but it didn't say anything about damaged granite. Granite Depot tried to hide the crack from me by installing it without showing any signs of the defect. I reached out to Robie Hayes, who works there, and we exchanged a few emails about fixing the problem. But she said they wouldn't do anything about it. So I asked her for the contact info of her boss or the owner, but I haven't heard back from them at all.
