I bought a roll of grotrax but it never came. I tried calling and emailing the company many times, but they haven't responded.

I got this product delivered on 4/5. With the weather forecast being real cold and snowy, I waited for better weather to put this product down in my yard. I called them and talked to someone named ***, or *** or something like that who said that they 30 day money back guarantee could be extended since I couldn't put the grass in right away. This product don't work and when I asked for a refund they said I was too far out of the 30 day window even though the person I talked to said it would be honored. I want my money back.

Customer service is terrible! I figure I give this product a try, even though there was mix reviews. I purchased it on their website, to later find out the same product is being sold at Home Depot for $10 less. I contacted customer service to see if they would price match their own product to the price at Home Depot, and just refund $15 back on my card. They will not price match and said I can return it, but I would have to pay for shipping to send it back. Which makes no sense financially for me to do. Instead of doing the right thing, they are going by it as a slime business practice.

I wanted to discuss returning two unopened rolls of the product because we accidentally ordered too much. Unfortunately, I haven't received any callbacks. It doesn't matter if I call in the morning, afternoon, or evening, I always get the same message: "We're busy helping other customers right now. Please leave your name and number, and we'll call you back." But they never do. I placed my order on August 27, 2022, with the order number 94131-BG. The product was shipped on August 30, 2022, and delivered on 09/03/2022. I have attached proof of my order, shipping, and delivery below.

I ordered Grotrax on 4/12 and received it on 4/17. The box wasn't packed well, with no intact tape, and it was rubber banded back together. It was wet upon delivery and there were no plastic or bags to protect the seed rolls. I contacted the company shortly after receiving it, as you can see in the emails, but I didn't receive any positive responses. Later on, they basically said that I did something wrong and waited too long to complain. I explained my situation and even sent pictures to prove that I had contacted them, but it didn't make a difference. It seems like this company doesn't want to take responsibility for their faulty product, which doesn't grow even when you follow their instructions. Their warranty is useless, and their advertising claims are false. All I wanted was some help and guidance after receiving a wet product, but they did everything they could to discredit me and deny my claims. The box and product were poorly packed, damaged, wet, open, and rubber banded shut. Their customer service is nonexistent. Clark Howard should be aware of these unethical business practices. I bought GroTrax Grass twice recently (realized I didn't have enough before installing, so I ordered more). I was super excited about this company 'cause they had a 100% guarentee. They had lots of great reviews and awesome ratings everywhere. I watched tons of YouTube vidoes to prepare for my install. The install was super easy and everything went fine. I waited 14 days, but nothing was growing... I checked their website for a potential refund and saw it mentioned to contact them AFTER 30 days, so I did (hoping the product would work). However, after the grass failed to grow, I contacted customer service. They told me on the phone to send pictures to their email. They asked which order I wanted a refund for, and I said both. Then, after the new year, they sent a standard email saying I couldn't get a refund and that the warranty had to be used within 30 days of the delivery date. There's nothing on the website about a refund starting on the delivery date. Also, the website says to reach out AFTER 30 days. It feels like they don't care about the customer and just think we're trying to scam them for our money back. I even sent pictures of the grass not growing! This is really frustrating, and I hope others will see this and be warned.

I bought this Grotrax product in April , and it's supposed to last for 2-3 years. I followed the planting instructions exactly in June 2022, but it didn't grow within the 30-day period. I reached out to the company for a refund, as their website promises. At first, Linda said they would refund my purchase right away. However, a few hours later, she said they couldn't do it because I bought the product over a year ago. Nowhere in their return or refund policy does it say that their guarantee doesn't cover products purchased more than a year ago, not even in the fine print. Ironically, their website states that the shelf life of the product is at least 2-3 years. As a customer, wouldn't you expect their money-back guarantee to cover the product for its shelf life? Their policy clearly states, and I quote, "100% Satisfaction GUARANTEE: If you don't LOVE the thick, lush new grass you'll get from using Grotrax, just let us know in 30 days and we'll gladly give you a full refund." It doesn't say "within 30 days of purchase" or even "within 30 days of planting." But I did contact them within 30 days of planting because I thought that's what I was supposed to do if their product wasn't working. I've exchanged several emails with Linda at Grotrax, and she has been increasingly rude. All we want is our money back so we can buy something that actually works. That's it.
