Received Groupon gift cards for birthday. Tried purchasing but their system wouldn't take my VALID address. I get ALOT of things delivered, Walmart, ebay, Amazon, etc. Reached out, first 2 reps didn't understand, others gave me list of things I should do,use computer (did), input differently(did).It's their system. I even tried a neighbor address, didn't work.I asked for refund since I can't buy from them, basically told tough luck.

According to the representative this morning, my account was deactivated due to a security issue. I purchased two groupons on Friday the 23 with Groupon bucks for beauty services. 12/18 I went to redeem those groupons only to be told my account does not exist. I had close to $250.00 in groupon bucks. When emiling the specialists after the lve chat, Danilea said my account was terminated due to a "terms of violation" reason. No explanation, no nothing. When I live chatted an agent this morning, he/she wouldn't even send me the "terms of service" for review. I have screenshots of the conversations, and emails. I have contacted the better Busness beareau and I will keep digging until I get a refund of the money in my account. I want to know what happened, why it was deactivated and no notifications were given to me, and I want my money back (for purchased Groupons and Groupon bucks.)
Desired outcome: Refund me the $250.00 in my account.

Login problem; terrible customer service
I have been a Groupon user for many years. I regularly receive ads from the company. Recently I responded to one of the ads and placed an order. When I tried to log in, my password didn't work, although it was on autofill. I tried to reset the password, but got the email that my account did not exist. When I tried to created another account, it pointed that the email was already in use. I tried to use the 'chat' support, but was left hanging in the middle of the conversation; the rep had simply disappeared. I emailed the support, and got a response from Account Specialist Prasad T, who, after a few email exchanges, advised to contact my bank as my credit card and the address didn't match the Groupon records. That was almost offensive, as my address was correct, and the rep just did not care to look into the real issue. I read online that other members had similar issues with this company. I must say, that Groupon does not have an adequate technical support, and their account specialists are quite ignorant.
Account deactivated with $59 groupon bucks
How convenient is this for Groupon? Closed the account with groupon bucks on it, and customer service not helping at all. Same answer: "someone will contact you by email" Are they real people or bots? I have a refund number, emails, purchases, credit cards used. What else do you want?

Account deleted after making a purchase
Groupon deactivated my account hours after I made a purchase. There is clearly a pattern here. Specifically, I purchased a Sam's Club membership for $20. The purchase was "processing" for several hours.
I logged in the next day, and my password didn't work. I chose forgot password, put in e-mail and received the message "We received your password reset request, but unfortunately, there is no account on file with this email address."
Groupon is clearly trying to lure users back with fake ads for discounted memberships and other products and services. What a scummy company. If, by chance, reps from Groupon.com see this: F*ck all of you mother*uckers. Seriously, you are pieces of [censored].

Groupon deactivated my account and i have 100.00 credit still on it from a gift.
I have had a Groupon account for many years and have used it through the years. I had a 100.00 credit left from a 400.00 gift on my account. I tried to log on to my account and my password did not work. i was asked for my email and groupon would send me an email to reset my password. I received an email from Groupon that they have no record of my account. I then went to the Help and opened up a conversation: It is obvious that whom I was corresponding with was either not educated or not familiar with english as many many of the words were misspelled. i forwarded this person my last order with my email--they stated they have no record -this went on for a while ending with the fact that they do not have any record----My account and money is gone -----i am probably not the only one to have had his or her account ,with a credit or gift money still on the account and Groupon deactivate the account---- Something is very wrong--

I have talked to the chat representatives and was told there is no telephone number to talk to a live representative. I was due to get married this October 2022, so I went on Groupon a purchased a chapel an a hotel. Once I purchased both I was due for a email back with more instructions on my reservation. The page told me a two hour wait for the email. As the 2 hour window passed an still no email, I kept checking my Groupon profile to see if it said available yet. Waited another hour (a total of 3 hours) by the 3rd hour I went to check my emails then my Groupon profile on app an it was all deleted without my consent. When I tried to put in my email it said that it didn’t exist. I emailed Groupon an they told me to get ahold of them in the app an never said anything again. Well if I can’t get into the app how am I suppose to get ahold of them? I’m very disappointed an sadden that this is happening a month before my wedding . Something told me to not use Groupon but my family has never had a problem like mine. I also tried calling the hotel an they claimed that the days I picked where in the computer but under someone else’s name. -all around horrible experience for us. Several businesses on Groupon do not accept their deals during COVID. Or are shut down completely. Neither of which is specified by Groupon anywhere on the website/app. I have bought several deals where the business ended up not honoring the groupon. When reaching out to the company the only solution they are offering is cash back in their own "Groupon Bucks." However, now I'm looking to close my account & would like to receive an actual refund for the almost $500 I've spent on the website without any services.

I was sitting in my dining room talking with my brother at the table when my phone went off.. My bank balance went to -79.99. I then had an email pop up saying I purchased a san Diego Seaworld ticket for 79.99. I did not make this purchase. I filed a complaint, put a stop to my credit cards, changed my groupon information, and a lady responded saying that this is a FINAL SALE, NO REFUNDS. I am emailing you as a last resort to my problem. I have had a Groupon account for many years and currently have several active Groupons that I cannot access. The last message said I violated your terms and so I could never use Groupon again. I made reservations with groupon to stay at a hotel in Las Vegas ad they decided to completely ruined my trip and caused my daughter fear of staying by herself because she was being kicked out of a hotel room that I had already paid for. Im trying to create a groupon campaign for my heating and air company and I keep getting emails saying to need to upload or update and they keep giving me the run around. I have done everything Im supposed to and keep getting rejected. They ask me to add a radius and zip code in the fine print but theres no option to do that. The tell me to upload insurance and I do that, Ive done everything at least 5 times each. I also got rejected from an air duct cleaning campaign because groupon said I havent been in business long enough and that I need to be in business for at least 6 months. I have no idea where that info came from because we've been in business for 15 years. Groupon deleted new account without any notice
Groupon for whatever reason will close your account without any notifcation to the account owner. Using an excuse of Terms violation is the easiest way to close new accounts and claim unused funds.
While attempting to purchase two groupons with their new user discount code, the site kept erroring out. Eventually the groupons were purchased and I believed I was good to go. I went to check today and the account was terminated. I "chatted" with customer support for hours because Groupon probably decided that it was easier to be a heartless entity over text.
Desired outcome: Reach out to the account owners and allow us to explain what/if anything is going on. There's probably a chance that our account was hacked or your (Groupon) services were down.

This week I purchased a valvoine groupon for a synthetic blend oil change which I used today at the valvoline store on highway 70 s in Nashville, tn.
I was greeted by a young man who I told I would like a synthetic blend oil change and to mark my sticker for 7500 miles from my current odometer reading.
I waited for approximately 40-45 minutes while several technicians were doing something under my hood and when the manager walked by I asked if there was a problem and he told me a large socket had fallen between the radiator and the fan blade and they had to get it out to prevent serious damage. While they were working on it another technician gave me a printed sticker marked to change the oil in 3000 miles. When the first contact came by my window I asked him to do a new sticker and actually wrote out the mileage and change date so there would be no question.
After they finally retrieved the socket another person came to my window and I gave him the groupon and he advised I had purchased one for a synthetic blend and my bmw requires a full synthetic oil but he would use the groupon valued for $43.99 and I could pay the difference which he said was going to be an additional $123.41! I know their were full synthetic groupons for $89 and the sum of my groupon cost and the additional came to $167.40! I then asked how much a full synthetic oil change would have cost without any groupon and was told $164. So---it cost me more using the groupon and the added cost than if I used no groupon and if they had told me from the start I would have gone online right then and bout a full synthetic change for $89.99.
For further frustration I knew an confirmed that most gas stations and even places like Firestone only charge 77-$90 for the same service I was chagged $167.40. I feel the groupon information is at best mis-leading and the switch and bait tactic to the more expensive oil without my permission is clearly a switch and bait tactic. Finally even after having to wait 40-45 minutes and still not having a sticker I asked again an the technician instead of printing out what I requested just took a blank sticker and wrote out my request with a magic marker. To make things even worse not one person ever said "i am sorry" or apologized for the wait after not explaining the cause of the wait until I asked about it. The manager guided my car out and only said drive carefully.
I have purchased many group-ons over the years and definitely will never go back to this location and hope you follow up with this terrible experience sine this valvoline store reflects on your image and credibility. I await your response before deciding if I should take alternate action or begin to post my experience in on line reviews.

This is a Groupon company. I ordered 6 bottles of Dove Body Wash. This company sent ten (10) bags of Krave Gold Labe Beef Spicy Sesame Cuts Ginger. They said it had been delivered. I offered to send the merchandise back to them in replacement for what I had ordered and they said no. I continue to contact them to no avail. No response. All I request is the product that I ordered or my money back so that I can reorder it.
