Customer Service at Checkout
Today 04/28/2018 at around 6:30pm I was in the HEB store in Edna Texas and pushing my basket up the various checkouts. I was pass up by a cashier to only have here selective go and pick another customer out of the line and escort her to her checkout. When the cashier pass me she didn't even greet me just pass me by.
When the cashier escorted her customer back to her register she positioned herself in a way to blocked me. Didn't even explain what she did or even make eye contact. Needless to say I was very unhappy. So much so, I left my basket with the couple of items still inside threw my coupon on the counter and left. Typically I don't let this bother me, but after this happening to me on several occasions before I'm at the point enough is enough. Extremely upset this has happen to me on too many occasions.

Hello I just wanted to say that this Heb on commerce and Rosillo has the rudest balloon Lady working there I didn't see her name I believe she wasnt wearing a name tag, I also warned to point out that this Heb is very disorganized they didn't have a great deli at all! The only person who was very friendly was a lady name Eva not going back there didn't feel comfortable at all!
poor customer service - unprofessional management
My parents purchased some baby back ribs and the ribs were not packed inside their bags. When they returned to the store to ask for the ribs, the cashier denied that she didn't pack them and said they took the ribs. They checked the vehicle and found nothing and they had placed the cart in the cart corrals and didn't see anything in it before they left the store, so they know they didn't get them. When they spoke to the manager, the manager was very rude and told them they took them. They asked if he could check the cameras to confirm if the cashier packed them and he refused. He claimed they took them and that they would not be able to show them the footage or check the cameras. After a while, the manager finally and reluctantly, gave them another pack of ribs. Unfortunately, the experience regarding the manager's rudeness was enough to assume that this is probably not the first time this has happened and they obviously don't realize and understand that this is horrible customer service. I guarantee that other stores like Target and Wal Mart would not have handled the situation this way. This has happened to me multiple times where something is missed from my bags or a bag is left in the bag holder and when I returned for the item, I have never been questioned or mistreated. Sadly, my parents are now feeling extremely vulnerable and taken advantage of because of their age and they worry this will happen every time they shop at HEB, especially the HEB where the incident occured. Please address this with your store employees at this location

I'm making a complaint about the 4ft short woman dark she wears glasses, she's very rude she never smiles never greets or says thank you or have a great day or anything, makes me wonder why would they put such a horrible greeter in the front if she's not even going to greet you in the first place, wish heb would put some one that would make you feel like your a great customer, been coming here for years and this is the first time I felt like I didn't want to shop in this grocery store,
using coupons
I went to the heb plus on zarzamora/s. w. military on 4/9/18 and was helped by cashier Angelynn A. She was having trouble using 2 coupons for baby formula that was previously printed out from visits before. She then called for a manager. Brandy was the manager on duty and assisted her. She was very argumentative with me when the coupon clearly stated what size of baby formula it could be used on. She ended up honoring the coupon but only after she said "the line is getting long so I'll just give it to you". I felt insulted because in no way was I trying to scam heb, I just wanted to use the coupon for what it was supposed to be used for. It was unnecessary for her to tell me that.

Incident: please return to selling the cranberry turkey salad without pecans. Everyone does not eat pecans and pecans are an easy item to add (purchase pecans), but not so easy to remove.
Desirable resolution:sale both turkey salads so customers can have an option, with pecans or without pecans

I always go to heb the one off of wurzbach and Ih10 is one I usually go to regularly but I will not be going there anymore.
Yesterday I called in the morning and placed a phone order for some pink roses and they said that the bouquet will be ready by the time I got there in the afternoon. But of course they where not ready I had to do some grocery shopping also for the holiday and my family so I asked the flower department what I should do to pay for it before I came back and I could pay for the flowers and groceries. They told me to take the upc up front with my groceries and pay all together so I did I put the upc in my stack with my coupons I told the check out lady when she first started checking me out. Apperantly she didn't hear me but I thought my flowers where payed for I thought they where on my receipt already. BUT THEY WHERE NOT! So when I got the flowers that they still didn't have ready I just picked up some red ones thinking that everything is fine. I was chased outside by two lady's and the security cart came to completely embarrassing me and making me feel like a criminal. I know the law and that what they did was completely against the law. I know in my right I can actually make a case against heb but luckily for HEB I AM NOT THAT TYPE OF PERSON. I also told the lady that looked at my receipt and said it wasn't on there. I was going to go back in and pay for them because I ordered them. She also had the nerve to tell me if I was going back in to pay for them like I wasn't going to pay I was just going to take them! But by that time I was so disgusted by the way I was treated from the H-E-B employees never have I ever Felt so embarrassed. Thank you HEB for this horrible experience.

This HEB in Burnet is terrible. Out of date food products. I know we're a small community compared to Austin or San Antonio but we do try to spend our money locally. Now we're driving to Leander or MarbleFalls to do our grocery shopping. Looks like the quality and quality control could be the same at all HEB store. Most weekends the shelves are bare on quite a few aisles.
heb curbside
I normally shop at the HEB curbside in Sienna Plantation. On yesterday, I placed my order online. I ALWAYS expect that there will never be a perfect experience with my orders but I do expect near perfect customer service. They forgot to put an item in my order. Went to pick it up today and the person who got it for me was horrible. I was talking to this lady and she kept walking with the item in her hand. Completely ignored me. I do not appreciate bad customer service when I spend so much money at this HEB. I will have to find another store with better service.
Very angry. Will never order again, coronavirus or coronavirus. First of all, I asked them to bring groceries to the back in the garage. So because I said that, they assumed I meant I was not going to be there. What words made you assume that? So for that, one particular item could not be brought. Next, I thought they said they stock the store EVERYDAY? Apparently not. No coffee, no creamer, no dog food, paper towels! The simple items. I will go back to Kroger where there were no lines and they had all of these items. By the way, don't try to call the store, or the main office. You will never be able to talk to someone.

Receipt no [protected] 092 service 06-14-18. Cashier Kaylynn G. checked out a female for 6 large briskets with three separate transactions. The customer paid in written checks for two transactions and a credit card for the third. When asked why the transactions took so long, I was told that there was a customer limit of two so the cashier had to separate the purchases. What is the purpose of limiting the number for each customer when it will be conveniently ignored by some cashiers and not by others. I've purchased multiple briskets before and was NOT allowed to buy three, much less six. This lady and I are of the same age only she is Hispanic and I am white. So I have to ask, why a manager would allow customers to wait in line for 30 minutes for this? And why can't I purchase more than two at a time?
heb car wash
On a recent visit to Texas, my husband & I shopped at HEB in College Station. We purchased almost $200 worth of groceries, then proceeded to fill up with gas (@$30), and purchased a car wash at the same time. We pulled into the car wash tunnel & got in place. The machine started soaping (at the front of our vechile, I believe). When it got to the rear of our vehicle the machine stopped! We waited & waited for several minutes. It didn't move! So my husband pulled up just a little bit thinking maybe the machine didn't have enough room to clear the back & come around. So my non complaining husband drove out & left with soap all over our vehicle! He hates to complain & I hate to NOT complain! At any rate, we are back in Alabama & no HEB over here! I would have called or emailed if I could've found an address or such. This is the first that I've stumbled across. So we'll see if we get any results!
My car was splashed with mud earlier so I paid $14 for the Ultimate Wash at HEB in Beaumont, Tx at Dowlen Rd and it wasn’t cleaned at all! Seriously, the dirt is still everywhere. Not one clean spot!

chicken wing portions
Purchased these on 3/14/18 at the Kerrville store on Sidney Baker Rd. I buy these every week for hot wings and had no issues, but this time they are terrible! Very old, fatty and lots of yellow skin that I had to trim off they are not fresh as advertised! They should be white not yellow and dried out! Very disappointed as these are not eatable!

I just visited the store at 1511 W 18th St, Houston, TX 77008 at about 1:15p. m. While I was there waiting in line to check out, the lady in front of me was trying to use coupons. She spoke mainly Spanish. The manager told her, "you need to speak English, baby." The manager then yelled at her saying, "I told you that you can't use those coupons." She was rude as can be. She then yelled at another employee telling her, "you need to be reading the print on the coupons." She yelled this from 2 registers down so everyone in the checkout could hear her plan as day. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere where customers are treated with respect! I have never been so ashamed to shop here. The manager's comments and the way she was treating the employees and the customers was not acceptable at all. She put such a bad taste in my mouth that I will be taking my business elsewhere to either Kroger or Randall's.

My wife visits numerous Hebs in Corpus Christi on an almost daily ritual. This time though, is utterly disturbing. As most individuals, our family survives on coupons and daily specials for food products as we are not well endowed with money. My wife proceeded to the checkout with Debra around 3pm and she had her coupons ready to hand over. Never in all her years of shopping had she encountered an employee with such demeaning comments aimed towards her for using coupons! With a line behind her, Debra proceeded to insult her to the point of feeling like trash for using coupons! I simply do not understand as to why it is allowed for an employee to carry on and speak to your guest that way! Last time I checked it was the customer who kept the business going and not the other way around! As a restaurant manager for many years, cardinal rule number 1 is to treat your customers with the utmost respect and cater to them. Very disappointed that this will undoubtedly go on with customers that use coupons and sadly, nothing will be done to correct this issue. We will not be visiting this store any longer to avoid the treatment of Debra and the many onlookers of cashiers that witnessed this treatment, because if it's ok for her to do it then why wouldn't the other employees not do it?

I hope you are well .. my complaint is that I drove all over Texas for 12 hours looking for the Selena bag and everywhere I went was sold out. People walking out with 10 to 20 bags at a time.. I was looking for 2 but I would have been happy with one.. it's a shame that people bought that many only to sale on eBay for 50 .00 to 400 dollars a piece.i am sorry to complain it's just a shame that those who work and loved her music had no chance to get one. apple cinnamon streusel/ lemon streusel mini muffins
Yesterday I bought two containers of mini muffins, one of the Apple Cinnamon/Lemon and another of banana nut. The banana nut I took to work for us employees and they were fine. This morning I woke up and ate one of the lemon and one of the apple cinnamon. I was half way through the apple cinnamon when something hard clashed against my teeth so I dug it put my mouth and as I was looked at it I felt smaller piece scrap my throat as I swallowed. I don't know for sure but looked like some kind of plastic. How does plastic get inside the middle of a muffing?! I am quite irritated.

It has been some time since I have written, mainly because my comments have always been brushed off. However, things have reached a point where I can no longer remain silent. In the past I have stated that our produce is sub-par quality and was told all stores have the same quality. Not true. I am attaching a photo of a small sampling of onions in our HEB on 3/1/18. The onion I finally wound up with was also bad. It is not only onions, but potatoes, squash, corn, etc. We don't get the same quality produce as the HEB Plus in Lytle or any of the San Antonio stores I have visited. I'm sure Mr. Butt would be upset if this were the quality of produce brought into his kitchen. Not being one to shoot the messenger, I cannot blame our manager for this problem, as he does not hand pick the produce. He simply offers for sale to his customers what he has been sent by headquarters. The store is well kept, the employees are helpful and courteous.
bagging groceries
I'm frustrated today again. Last time I had to bag my own groceries and this time I was just watching why no one is bagging my groceries again. The cashier next to us didn't have a customer and the bagger was just talking to the cashier and then another employee came plus the assisting manager. What the hell is wrong here. I should just go to Walmart next time than coming to HEB which is closer to me. This is the HEB on 20311 Champion Forest Dr, spring, tx 77379
I had gone a couple of times at HEB now and every cashier has a bagger. Im happy that this was taking care of. I really enjoy shopping here and will continue to do so.

So sad to hear the HEB stores are doing away with the craft beer section with the growlers. I love my HEB on Bunker Hill #109. It was very convenient to fill the growlers with knowledgeable beer crew. Just can't understand as craft beer is so popular all over. There is a difference between keg and bottled beer. Supporting the local breweries in Texas is great for our economy. Sorry again to see it go away!

I have never notice before, as my son noticed, not me.
I asked my son to make me a drink. (I have a Pilsner mug I keep frozen in freezer, it shows OZ's on the side) anyway... He yells out Mom this is only 11 oz, not understanding, I took my drink and went on..
The next day, I happen to ask the same kiddo, he responds the same! So I asked? He stayed Mom the can states 12oz, there's only 11oz in the can. This is the second can.
So me being the OCD person, opened all the cans and poured them into several measuring items I have.. Needless to say, there's ONLY 11oz in these cans! Maybe my box is out of the norm, if not y'all Might want to relabel your product for true accuracy.
