Hello,
I wanted to address a phone call to your Milford, Mass Home Goods store, which I made this morning April 20, 2024.
I am having vocal issues and I have to speak in a very soft voice. I understand that this can be difficult over the phone as well as in person. However, it does not give anyone the right to be inconsiderate.
I was calling to check on a dinnerware item, with the item number in hand, the woman I spoke with could not hear me very well, so I explained to the best of my ability to say that I am having vocal issues, she proceeded to say why did I call then.
I asked her to repeat what she said because I was shocked at her lack of empathy. She then said what is the item number. I declined to continue.
I have been dealing with this since December, and yet to come across someone so insensitive.
She could have done one of two things, ask me to read the numbers slowly taking my time/or give the phone to another associate with more patience.
I do not live in the area which is why I called to see if they may have it before I drove there.
Thank you,
Cindy Pellegrini
