Sleeper couch
I bought a sleeper couch less than 2 weeks ago. We have been using this on a minimum basis and now when used one of the back legs bend which resulted in the wood to split. This is now of no use for me. Please advise what you will be doing with regards to this matter. Please handle this as a matter of urgency.

Replacement cell phone not working properly
I had a claim on a Nokia C1 I bought from Homechoice, which was damage beyond repairs in June 2021. The cellphone was covered by GuardRisk. After 3 months, after numerous issues, the cell phone was taken again to 3G Mobile for another assessment. The phone was then 'replaced' but we had so many issues as the new phone as it keeps freezing while being operated, whether it's wazzup, youtube or any app. It is really frustrating as the 1st phone never had these issues. What is perplexing is that the original Nokia C1 battery doesn't fit in the new 'replaced' Nokia C1, thus I don't think the exact Nokia C1 model I had was replaced with an identical model, but another 'less' spec'd model.

My bedding sets order delivered to the wrong person
i placed an order on the 7th October 2021 for nova bedding sets Comforters for Queen bed, then on the 12th i received a message saying my order is on the way then after i received a call from the courier company confirming my address so they said the parcel is on the way so i waited then around 3:30 pm i phoned them and told them i have been waiting all day and my worry is that maybe they maybe delivered on the wrong address because i stay at a farm so the lady assured me that they will do no such because they will request my Identity Document before they load off the parcel so i told her i will be waiting at home with my Identity document so she said they will phone me if they are getting lost or nearer to my home so i waited they never came then today i receive a message from homechoice saying that my parcel has been delivered so i phoned immediately and they said a guy named Joshua signed for my parcel so i asked how? did that person give them my ID so they said no and i told them i dont know a person with that name so i must go to the police station and open an affidavit and send it to them, and now i must run up and down for your company carelessness i will never again order from you and should my credit report be affected by this i will not take that laying down because it was your carelessness and do not know what kind of business you are running if you cannot ensure that parcels are delived accordingly

Cellphone was broken just went off
Homechoice - Cape town I would like to log a complain, I bough a cellphone from home choice July 2021 and all and it was broken 09 Sept 21 till now I'm still waiting for the phone and they never give me curtesy phone and this was bought with account im still paying the phone as you can see its not even 3months,
So I think they were supposed to give me a new phone, they don't even contact me or send any SMS or email as they have, I'm the one that is contacting them,, This is not on at all and I will never recommend anyone to buy electronics if they treat their customers so bad.
I'm very Unhappy as I've been sitting with no phone the hole month and im suppose to be using it to enter in the building at work due to COVID restriction I'm supposed to have a code.
Desired outcome: I wish they must be taught how to respect the customer need and Emergency especially if you still paying the account and also maybe thy must provide another phone
Poor service and fraud
On the 6th October 2021 I received am email from home choice, the email was seeking confirmation from me of the things that I never ordered. The email showed that I ordered a fridge, towels and blankets worth R27000-00. It was a big surprise to me because it was something I never ordered.
I immediately call homechoice to say what are you talking about because I don't know anything about this order, the consultant said to me she cannot cancel this order be this is in process at the warehouse. I realize that this is a fraud at play.
It seems someone at homechoice was filtering with my details trying to make as if am the one who ordered the stuff. The following day courier called me telling me that the are about to deliver the stuff I never ordered. I inform courier not to deliver because I don't know anything about this order. When I check my account at homechoice I noticed that am owing R27000-00 this is crime taking place at homechoice on my account.
I therefore decided to settle my account that I know off of R500-00. Am being ripped off by homechoice of the things within their business. Now am owing things that I don't have in my house and never wished to have.
Someone had access to my account at homechoice that able him or her to flirted with my account. This is disgusting of a company as big as homechoice to fail to prevent this behavior. I can't tolerate this rubbish to be happening on my expense.
Someone is incompetent on his/her responsibility, if such can happen on my current account.

On the 22nd of July 2021 I placed an order on the Homechoice website for delivery, the items were never delivered to me, While tracking my order on their website, I noticed that it stated that it was delivered on the 27th of July 2021, which I never received. I contacted them to enquire this and was advised that they would investigate the matter, of which I have not received any feedback as yet. To my surprise when my August premiums were deducted, they deducted for the full instalment which included the items that I never took delivery of. Sadly my debit order returned unpaid the same happened with my September debit order. I did not make provision for the increased instalment as I knew I had not received the items as yet. This has affected by bank account as unpaid fees have been added to my bank account as well as this is affecting my credit profile. I have had a couple of telephonic conversations with Homechoice, however no resolution has been given and they insists that I should pay the instalments while I wait for feedback.
I have been loyal customer of Homechoice and no issues had occurred, they received their funds and I received my goods. Yesterday one of their collectors called me and when I advised her of the above problem, she was not helpful, just insisting that I make a payment.
I refuse to pay for goods that I have not received.
Please assist as I have been waiting for feedback since beginning of August 2021.

Laptop repair

My laptop screen was damaged. So I sent it in for repairs. After 3 months they sent it back to me without fixing it. They told me the reason why is because I did not have Insurance on the laptop. After I received the laptop I sent it in again on May 7th 2021. They contacted me again and said it will be about R4 000 to fix the laptop. I told them I cannot afford to pay that money and they said they will send the laptop back to me, but they never did. I was thinking are you not supposed to have a guarantee or warranty on the laptop since it was broken and I did not have the laptop even for 1 year. I am very disappointed because I am still paying this account. I do not have the pictures of damaged laptop and email conversations on this device.

This is the worstcompany to ever deal with. There staff are rude. I have sent them several complaints and they have done nothing about it.
Loyal customers buy from them because it is convient. I pay my account always before time but I am always called every month about 15 times to be reminded to pay my account and I am sent ugly sms to be told that I failed to pay my account and they will be taking action against me because they keep on changing my due date.
They even call my in laws and tell them that i need to pay my account. This is now harrassment. They do not care about POPI. Need do they care about there clients. I love the productsand the convience of Homechoice but I hate the people and the service that we receive from HOMECHOICE. They think we are all thieves.
Desired outcome: Change there management team in customer service and in finance. If they fail to do so. They going to loose more customers.

My name is Simon, on the 16 August 21 i place an order of 13 piece Claire bedding set online, it was R1749 and on the 17/08/21 i paid i'm order and send the proof of payment. when i login on the 19/08/21 i find the the processing 12 piece Claire Bedding set with the amount of R1198 and this 12 piece is not on the catalogue, when i check find that 13 piece Claire bedding is in stock and i place an order again of 13 piece Claire bedding set on the 19/08/21, and the processing mystery 12 piece bedding set with the amount of R1249 and i send them email that they must cancel the order again. i called them and they said immediately when the receive the stock they will delivery my order. On the 16/9/21 i saw that 13 piece Claire bedding set is in stock i send an email that the 13 piece is in stock and the told me that the already credit my account i must place an order again while my balance is R0 but i place an order again for the third time and i send an email that they must process my order cause my account is R0. and they send an email that my order is approved, on the 20/08/21 when i check on my side i find that the parked 12 piece again and i send an email again, the called me that the will credit my money cause the don't have 13 piece and the is nothing they can do. and at the first place don't forget that you cant order something if is out of stock. But i ordered 13 piece three times and approved

Fraudulent account in my name
Homechoice allowed someone to open an account in my name. I only noticed when debit orders started coming off my bank account. They have since resolved that it is fraud in October 2020. To this day September 2021 they have not Closed the account or sent a letter to the credit bureau to rectify this.
Only today 14 September did I receive a letter of resolution of the matter.

Hi. I have recently learned that there a fraudulent account opened with Homechoice and its in arrears. I have never opened and don't intend opening an account with Homechoice. I learned about the fraud account when using the clearscore platform to check available products.
I did call Homechoice over the phone and laid a complaint but haven't heard from them. I also sent a complaint with clearscore so that they may remove this account from there. They advised that I should lay a complaint.
Desired outcome: Close the account and remove it from experian as I never opened it.
I received a call from a homechoice asking me that I'm in arreas on my account and I told the lady who called me that I didn't place an order neither received anything from them. I was told that order was delivered somewhere in Joburg at Meadowlands. I told them that I stay in Ladysmith KZN. So I want them to remove my name on credit burear as that happened is their mistake they did why they never called me from the first as there was an order for me ask about my address as they are calling now.They must to that address they delivered to .because now my name is bad for credit score. Base and mattress

I bought a base and mattress last year October and it was bad product and I sent a complain about it this year May and the mattress was changed but the new one is doing the same as the one that was changed, when you sleep on it you hear spring sound and you can also feel the springs, it is soo uncomfortable. I also picked up that the base is also broken.

HVAC Run Around
We sent a request in for our HVAC to be looked at on 8/8 and it is not 8/19 and we are getting the run around. The company representative (Joscelyn [protected]) agreed to the recommendation of the company (that they chose). Later that day we get an internal message stating an unnamed manager denied this and we will be getting another company to come out on 8/24. This is unacceptable. They will not cough up the name of the manager. Irene stated that they were no longer working there. We asked several times for a current manager to call. They will call is in 24 hours.
Their legal designee agreed with their contractor to replace the unit. We do not want another person out here so we can wait who knows how long for a resolution. I imagine they are shopping for someone who will say something different so they do not have to honor their warranty.
We have screen shots of the threads, but cannot upload as it is not a picture.

I have bought HP laptop from home choice last year, all of a sudden we encounter problems with the lap top, it will just freeze by not functioning, we initially thought maybe is a network problem but it continue doing that this time freezing for some minutes, that is when I call them to inform them, That is when they send the courier on the 6th of June 2021 and we gave them the cable charger as well, I have been calling to do the follow up from the second week after the courier took it, I have almost 4 reference numbers that I kept after every call that I have made to do the follow up, the last call before today's call with reference [protected], when I asked when will they bring it, they said they do not know, please assist my daughter need that laptop for her studies, REF : [protected], (June 2021) Ref:[protected] (6/07/2021), Ref:[protected] (4/08/2021) and today as well ReF [protected] (11/08/2021)

I took a restonic bed from homechoice with an installment they have offered me a great service all the time.. But i'm just not happy about this bed I have had it for only 3 months but it makes noise when I turn or when I climb it.. I mean i'm not even big.. I'm a size 8 but god it makes sounds my partner is now angry with me because I forced him that we must buy it.. I own a seal bed for 10 years but it doesn't make the noise like this one.. Please I need help on this.. I mean i'm paying a lot of money for it to do this..
Bad service
Around january 2021, I ordered lap top from homechoice and I got it. During march it gave me problems, I returned it and waited for months for it to be returned or fixed. When I called I was told I need to pay for it to be fixed because the screen is cracked, which was not the problem when I returned it (the screen was fine), I sent pictures as evedince then they realized I didn't crack the screen and promised to fix the screen. Few weeks after, I called to check if they fixed the laptop, sti there was nothing. Then they returned the laptop to me unfixed, I had to complain again. Then they came and took it, now it's august, am still waiting for the laptop to be fixed. I called fonechoice and every one that answered me, promised to come to me and give me feed back but to this day nothing. What's boring is that, some days when I call, they will tell me to wait and i'll definitely wait for even more than 20 minutes. Iam paying for the laptop but am not even using it, i've never experienced such bad service before. I really regret trusting homechoice with my money and trusting their service. I just called Homechoice customer service now @ 16:22 20/07/2021. Wanting my cellphone number to be changed. The consultant that answered the phone was extremely rude. You will swear she did not want to answer the phone. She did not even give me her name, she kept on talking over me. She did not help me at all. I asked to speak to the manager or anyone above her but she just said no.
This is not the first time I have had bad experience with Homechoice and now I remember why I actually wanted to close down my account.
