Horse.com Website design, customer service

I ordered from horse.com for the first time a few weeks ago. Among other things I ordered my usual fly spray. I clicked on the picture of the 1 quart bottle of my favorite brand. The window opens there is a picture of the 1 quart bottle and a place to put in the number of bottles I wanted to order. I was pleasantly surprised about the low price so I ordered 3. What I didn't realize was that even though there was a big picture of the 1 quart bottle, the tiny little roll on version was highlighted next to where I ordered. So instead of 3 one quart bottles I received 3 tiny roll on things, that I won't use and find horribly overpriced. I emailed the comapany twice to see if they would exchange or do a return. Still waiting for a response! Definitely a first and last time customer!

Horse.com On line ordering

I ordered 2 items I desperately needed ASAP. As a horse owner, one can understand.
I paid for 2 day shipping and received an order confirmation saying so. ( cost me $21.77).
The confirmation also read that I would receive my items a day later than the 2 day shipment I paid for. ( I did not count the day I ordered it).
I immediately became a little alarmed and emailed horse.com to bring their attention to this error. A Lydia K emailed me back telling me she was, " so sorry for the shipping change I made to my order did not register in our system"! Uh... What? I didn't change anything on my order including the shipping!
So this morning, 24 hours after I first ordered from horse.com, I have cancelled the order.
But apparently this is not sitting well with Lydia K. She blew me up with half a dozen emails in succession that they received my cancellation request. Ugh. And I am exhausted.
Thank you for this forum, as I wish I could have been warned about this vindictive fraudulent company: horse.com

Paid for items never received. Extremely lame customer service. If they make a mistake, you pay for it.

We've been doing business w/ horse.com for a couple of years now and have always been pleased...however, I just had an experience with online ordering that you want to watch out for! My cost w/ free shipping calculated out to be two dollars MORE than w/ shipping! Don't know whats up with that! Watch out for the totals when you order, at least from the summer C10G catalog. Blessings on your new endeavor. P.S. Aside from that, we have been very pleased with all the products we have received and they usually arrive in a very timely manner--within a week!

I will never do business with Horse.com again! I can't order on line because the "free shipping" option never comes up, even though my order qualifies for the free shipping. So, I must order over the phone to get the discounts and free shipping that the on line order process won't let me have. Last week I called in an order, but the gentleman wouldn't give me the on-line discounts offered through my e-mail "sale" offer. I argued through that and finally got everything ordered ($250 worth I might add). A week later I still don't have an e-mail confirmation. Called Horse.com to see where my order is (as I needed these items for two injured horses that I am nursing) and they charged my order to my credit card, but lost my order! Asked me if I wanted to place another order and wait another week. Hell no! I'm done with their scams!

Glad im not the only one having problems with Horse.com customer service! They must have sold the company or something because I have never had a problem until my latest order and with this one order alone I have had nothing but problems! I was informed in an email, after 2 full weeks, that they sent my order to the wrong address and it was returned to them.. called customer service and was then informed my order was damaged in shipping and returned to them and if I still wanted my stuff I would have to reorder it as my other shipment had already been cancelled and refunded. I placed another order with the cranky customer service rep and then checked my paypal account only to find I had not received a refund.. I call again and speak to a slightly more pleasant customer service rep who informs me my refund has just been issued and would show up with in 24 hours. Sure enough the next day I was refunded everything but the shipping.. REALLY! am I being punked here? Now I send an email to customer service informing them of all the problems. I receive an email back 2 days later apologizing for something totally different from my complaint but informing me they were refunding the the full amount of shipping in the amount of $4.21 Only problem that's $3.78 short of the actual amount of shipping I paid and was not refunded... So now for $3.78 I bust out another email to good o'l customer service asking for the remainder of my shipping. UNREAL! And now i await my shipment a full 3 weeks after placing my original order. Wish me luck!

I have ordered from this site for the past few years but they lost my business today FOREVER! I have always checked out as a guest but was pushed to register after having them screw up my last two orders and having to call on them. It was a nightmare.. Now as if that wasn't lesson enough I placed an order a few days ago, and reg. now I get a email saying I need to call in or the order will be canceled so I did and after 30 min on hold I get the rudest unhelpful rep ever! And am told that because my name isn't on the card (it's under a business name because it's a business card) that she can't help me. And couldn't even cancel the order.. So I called customer service why exactly?!? She couldn't place the order, nor help clear the problem, and then couldn't cancel the order?!? Ugh! Such a pain and I refuse to set on hold for another 30 min so I'm done with them! Way to many problems to deal with them and way to many options to buy from other companies.. Someone within the company should look a little closer at their customer service because as a customer I hate it! And they lost several thousand dollars a year.
