the worst customer service ever
I called in multiple times to order a couple pairs of what used to be my fav denim. After speaking to 3 different call centre "customer service" employees I still do not have my purchase and nobody seems to care including the vp e-commerce. I live in vancouver bc and have never had a problem trying to ship to canada until now. I called in to place my order...

I ordered a pair of shorts from Hudson Jeans. I received the shorts on 3/29/17 at 5:00 p.m. I did not like them the quality was horrible for $116 I went on line and requested a return on 3/30/17 I then put the shorts in the same box I received them and sent them back via fed x with the enclosed prepaid label. I dropped them off at fed x on 3/30/17. I tracked the return and Hudson received the shorts on 4/6/17 at 5:00 p.m. They were signed for by the same person whose name was on the label when I received the shorts from fed x. I waited for my refund and never received it. I sent numerous emails on their website requesting my money no response. I called the number provided and an automated system told me to leave my name and number and I would be called back 2448 hours later. I still have not received a call 2.5 months later. I disputed the charge with my credit card. Hudson was contacted and rebilled the charge. I have called again sent emails no response. Meanwhile they have the shorts and my $116 and I have nothing.

Hello
I am urgently chasing a refund, yet every time I contact Hudson by phone or email, I get no response other than some generic message which have so far been meaningless.
I am expecting a full and prompt response this time, as if it is less than satisfactory, I will be taking the matter further.
Please see below for a timeline of our Hudson interaction:
5/17 - my wife ordered two pairs of jeans online, and received the email confirmation (order # [protected])
We had them shipped to a friend of ours in NY as Hudson don't ship to the UK. When they arrived, she decided to return them as they were a different style to what she wanted, so they were sent back during the first week of June.
6/19 - first communication since the return, via email, which said that the jeans had been received, the return was pending and quoting a new # of [protected].
6/21 - email saying the return had been authorised (#[protected])
6/26 - email saying that the return was pending (again) and this time quoting a different # of [protected]
6/26 - email saying the return had been authorised (#[protected])
This was exceptionally confusing as there was only one order, yet two different sets of return numbers... and whenever we tried to contact Hudson to query the response, my wife received a generic email saying that someone would be in touch, but never did. When she tried numerous times to call the help-desk number, she was met with a voicemail message which stated that "due to high volume of calls, Hudson were unable to connect us, please try later"... !
I have to say that the customer service experience has not been what one would expect from a premium brand, and I very much hope you can rectify our experience by responding to this today and refunding monies due
In anticipation of a satisfactory outcome
Just posted my complaint about Hudson - same exact thing - no refund - no answering the phone or emails

credit accepted but refusal to ship
I am a US citizen who resides in Germany. I have a US credit card which I use to make purchases when I am in the US or visiting my family. I recently tried to purchase a pair of jeans and have it sent to my brother ( who I will be visiting and who has the same, extremely unique last name) . They held the order and requested that I call them. I called them from Germany and explained he situation. When they asked for my shipping address (my parents residence in the US)- which they moved to 2 years ago and wheee I have been only once)they were bothered that i didn't know the cross streets of he address. Then after they emailed me again, I wrote a lengthy response clearly explaining the situation. A few hours later I received an email that they would only send me order to my billing address? WTF. This makes no sense? Why can't I order a product to be delivered to another address is I want? I already own 5 pairs of jeans which i have bought from their website. Never again! If you like their jeans buy them at Nordstrom where the service is great or at Amazon where the prices are better and the shipping is quicker.
a pair of jeans
I see that I am not alone in my complaints about customer service at Hudson Jeans - the worst ever! In fact, the term 'customer service' is a misnomer in the highest degree. A few years ago I purchased a paire of jeans from a boutique in a small town not far from my home. They were a dark gray with some sort of a soft metallic pattern either in the weave of the fabric or screened onto the surface. The latter was probably the case. I loved them. The fit was perfect which is not a situation I encounter frequently. I was thrilled. The laundering instructions stated to turn the jeans inside out while washing, which I did. I noticed after some time that the metallic pattern was fading, but only on the front. Then one day it was pretty much gone. I called customer service and was told to photograph the jeans, including the labeling inside the waistband and email the images to them. So, I thought I would glean some information about the fading at least. By this time I'd already had the jeans about a year and a half, so I didn't expect too much. I was never contacted about the photos. I called back after several weeks and the service agent said she couldn't find that email. I may have resent the photos - I can't remember. More time passed and I called again. This agent must have been new because she was willing to help. She said they didn't make those particular jeans anymore so she couldn't send me a new pair. But she would send me another different pair. Sounded great to me, even though that wasn't my original objective. I was on hold for some time and when she returned she said she had a product number for me to submit for a new pair, online, I guess, but that the number was too long and complicated to give me verbally! She would email it. I knew then that this was the end of the story. There was no number - I would not be getting any email and would not be getting another pair of jeans. Totally disingenuous all the way. Incidentally, I still wear those jeans. I still love the fit, they just don't look as cool. That being said, I will never purchase another pair of Hudson jeans. The Hudson website has no vehicle for product reviews, so I'm happy I found this forum.
will not issue refund
I ordered a pair of jeans from Hudson jeans.com with the understanding that i can return them within 30 days if i don't like them. I received the jeans and i did not like them. Other than trying them on (which i immediately took off) i put them back in the box and returned them. I later received an email stating that the box was resent back to me. I called customer service and they said their returns department labeled them "worn" because the bottoms looked marked and worn. I talked to a manager and told her this was impossible that they must have made a mistake and offered to send her photos of the bottoms of the pants along with a photo of the tag still attached to the outside of the pant. I called her after she received the pictures and she admitted that they indeed did not look worn at all and had no marks. She said she apologized and will talk with the returns dept and get back to me. Today i got a call and she said she was sorry but since the returns dept deemed the item worn they cannot redo the status and that she cannot return. I asked to resend them for a 2nd opinion or to speak with another manager which she denied both. I then asked her if i could take it to any store that Hudson deals with (i.e saks, bloomingdales) and get the opinion from a store manager to confirm the pants are in 100% condition. Again she denied and said sorry.
I noticed that my fairly new Hudson jeans that have been washed only a few times, are torn at the pockets. All of them are torn at the same place. They were not ripped or torn when I bought them. I was very surprised by this because these jeans a lot.
I purchased a pair of Collin Skinny jeans - my first pair of Hudsons. I liked them at first, but I too found out that they completely lost shape after wearing them for just a couple of hours. By the third time I wore them, the seam in the bum started coming apart. I took photo's and sent them to Hudsons. I was told that I would get a replacement pair. I ordered a replacement but they fit completely different, and were way too big. Unfortunately I live in a small town and the closest Hudson retailer is 5 hours away so trying them on was not an option before I ordered them. I offered to ship them back and have them exchanged for a smaller size but they would only accept them if the shipment back to me was prepaid. I checked with the Canada Postal Service and they cannot do a prepaid back. I offered to give them my credit card or send cash for their cost of shipping the jeans back to me but they refused and now won't exchange them for a different size. They have never been worn and still have all the tags on them. I contacted them the same day I received them in the mail. I am extremely disappointed that they didn't want to work with me for me to be satisifed. I offered to pay for the shipping! I don't think I will ever buy another pair of Hudson Jeans. For the cost, the quality was extremely poor and their customer service was terrible. Learned my lesson the hard way. $200 will buy me a lot better quality jeans that I would have been happy with.
As a long time customer of Hudson Jeans, I would like to express my disappointment and concern about your "customer service" (call center). I currently have 5 pairs of hudson jeans. I absolutely love them (4 of them). I know they are a bit pricey but in my opinion worth thee extra $$. I purchased a pair of colin skinny jeans back in december because I already have a pair of them and love them so much. I purchased the same fit and size I did at bloomingdale's. I tried them on in January, and after wearing them for a few hours they became so saggy they were falling off my body and the white interior of the pocket was sticking out so much that my shirt got stuck on it. I was so disappointed, I explained to my friend who wears them as well, and she told me that there is a guarantee on Hudson Jeans to just call the company and explain. So I called and explained this to the rep. I was told I would get a call back definitely by the end of the week. I did not. I then called back again, and again, and again...a total of five times! Each time I called i was told I would get a call back. Finally on the last time I called I was told the corporate office did not approve anything, so that's it. So I asked to speak to a supervisor. His name is Marcus...he refused to give me his last name (as if I was calling some type of government agency or something). I explained how many phone calls I have made and that i just simply wanted a pair of jeans I can wear for $200. I was never looking for a refund just jeans that are wearable. He told me he cannot over turn what the corporate office said and that they stand by their product. Stand by their product? How so. You guarantee against defects, right? or am I not reading the policy correctly. I asked to speak to his boss, he said his boss does not take phone calls. I asked for the corporate office number he said he cannot give that out. I asked for the corporate office address, he said he cannot give that out. I explained that I have spent over $1, 000 in Hudson Jeans and time wasted calling and calling to NEVER got a call back. He said the only thing he could offer me is free shipping on my next order. As if I would ever order anything from a company as shady as this. I would get better service from Levi's...this is appalling... that a company would charge over $200 for jeans and when one pair is defective and a loyal customer is telling you this it is dismissed. "Marcus" was as cold and not even empathetic to the situation. He said he could only "forward" my concerns...so I asked to whom are you going to forward my concerns...He said the corporate office, but I cannot give you their information. I did finally find the address online and I will send them a letter. If it makes a difference I don't know, but I just hope someone could express a loyal customers concerns to someone in the company that might actually care how their customers feel. And to also know that this is what is happening in their "customer service" center... Have a great day...
