Today I went into hungry jacks ballarat and brought a double cheeseburger stunner meal and a few other things. Half way through eating my burger I found a peice of plastic. I went up and told the manager about it he didnt apologize about it nor did he offer another burger or refund. Not only am I complaining about my burger I am complaining about how rude and disrespectful the manager is. I can hardly understand him and the way he was speaking to his employees was outstanding I was discussed. I come in every tuesday for lunch and every week my other is incorrect and the manager is always so rude! I think you should do something about this or I will never be returning!

I would like to stay as unknown person regarding this matter at Burwood HungryJacks. I wonder how they are all indians working there and they speak in indian language while they are working. All the allocated hours are dividing only from indian people and all the promotions are going in between them. I was wondering for the moment whether i live in india or Australia. As an Australian legislation work place should have equal rights to employees. But in Burwood hungry Jack its totally different. They are hiring only indian people. Unfortunately there are few nationalities too. They only get 3 or 4 hours shifts every week while all other indian students are working morethan 20 hours limit. I would like to write a letter to informing this breach of visa condition to DIAC very soon. All the indian people are there staling food Specially there is girl name "Ashna" she is stealing food $60 worth every day at the end of her shift. This leads us no wonder we are losing food inventory every time. This area is under Bosco. All the team leaders are an indian for favourites. Its a small world of india and they do all the crappy things as well. I would like you to investigate this matter and find a solution asap before they will harm to the brand name. I dont mind how many indians are working there but there should be equal rights to everyone. If they need an indian people when you publish an advertisement please mention we are hiring only indian people.

I visited the Bulleen drive thru on he 16th of November and ordered 2 hash browns and 3 bacon and egg muffins. I was overcharged as the deal you have is 2 muffins for 5 dollars and I never ordered a meal deal therfore I never received a drink. I came back to the restaurant, I walked into the restaurant on friday the 18th of november after 9pm and spoke with rebecca. I explained that I had been overcharged and she then asked for my receipt which I handed over to her, she took a photocopy of the receipt. then I quote rebecca "I PROMISE that tomorrow morning the morning manager will call you so that you can receive your refund, I can't give you the refund as ill be 'short' for the end of my shift". I left the restaurant and awaited the morning managers call the following morning and on saturday after 12:30am I went back to the store to get my refund and rebecca was on duty again, at this point I was very frustrated as again she refused to hand me my money and threatened to call the police if I didnt leave. I have been in custoner service for over 23 years and I would never dream of treating my customers in such a manner. I have spoken to many family and friends and all are mortified that not only was I not given my money back but also that I was treated like a criminal. I would like to bring to your attention that rebecca mishandled the customer (myself) and never resolved the problem at hand. I would greatly appreciate a phone call on [protected] in order to sort out the discrepancy.

Hi i bought a family back from hungry jacks lastnight for me and me childrens tea had a bite of my cheese burger and there it was moulded into the cheese and some in my mouth stuck in my teeth yukkkk! Disgusting .ive eaten hungry jacks all my life and this is the first time i have made accomplaint about the company which i thought and is a great place to eat. Im a honest person but when you see along piece of human hair and take a bite that is digusting!
delux shakes
I have a complaint to make about the rude manager named dean I ordered three deluxe shakes but was served by a new trainee the girl had prepared the shakes best to her knowledge but needed help in doing them so she asked the manager dean for help to finish them for she didn't know how so my shakes were put to the side and I was made to wait now I waited about 15-20 minutes while the manager dean just continued to serve others my patience had run out so I asked him what's going on he replied he has got other customer to serve too and told me that the world doesn't revolve just around me I thought how rude I said I had been waiting 15-20 min just for some shakes and of course I'm annoyed having making me wait while serving other customers so he started to finish my shakes that the trainee had prepared and I told her m that I would like new ones as these deluxe shakes hade been sitting for so long they had even started to melt so the manager took the shakes and chucked them out walked to the cash register and gave me my money back and asked me to leave witch I was quite happy to do with the unprofessional management by this manager dean and am going to take this further for how I was treated by this manager
false advertising missing items over charged on price
hungry jacks has been advertising a 5 for $5 deal after traveling 50 klm to buy this deal the staff had no idea about it then after they decided it was a valid offer they charged me $30 for 4 of these deals and when i got home i realise the realised i only got 4 items in my 5 for 5 deal this was at Gundagai Hungry Jacks on 3/12/2016 at around 11:30am so in one visit i was misled overcharged and riped off items with my deal and the service was very ordinary i felt like a liability just going to that store. Mc Donalds was right next door im sorry i didnt go there instead

I went to hungry jacks at kedron 20/Nov/16 at 17.11 order number 000807. I ordered Angus classic. Large fries by two. 6 nugguts X two with tomato sause. Double cheese burger. The service by the young rude staff person was just that rude. My two fries put in bag upside down and he forgot both nuggets that when I checked he acted as he knew no tomato sause and the burger was as if it was made blind folded. Then the double cheese burger was not that. I'm not happy. I will take my daughter another place now somewhere there is much better service

I was on the understanding that if you were being served by a cso, that
A) your transaction would be seen through till the end, (which mine was not)
B). you would at least get spoken to with a tiny little bit of respect. (which I was not)
Maybe the young man that spoke to me like a second class citizen today was not happy working weekends, or maybe he was too busy making eyes at the young lady that was standing behind me, and so badly wanted to serve her before someone else did.
What ever his problem was, he needs a reality check, there are other young people out there that would gladly love the opportunity to work. I won't be going back in a hurry.

On 14 nov i came into your labrador store n orderd my food...upon receiving my meal i looked for a table that was clean..none to my avail nearly every table had crumbs n newspapers over them...upon consuming my food the onion rings were cold n dry...the shelves above tables had moths lying on them n the bench(window sill ) facing carpark had finger prints n cupstains...god knows how many germs r there..n staff left bins open changing garbage bags n walked off to serve..while consuming our food nxt to us...(health hazard left open)..this was btween 5pm n 6pm..your matter in shop hygene would b advantagous..b4 someone reports it to qld health n safety...thankyou...

Today the 7/11/2016 around 3:30pm I ordered a cheeseburger stunner meal and a frozen drink on the side from Hungry jacks in Virginia on Sandgate road (near Nudgee College). The customer service I received through the drive through was poor. However, I am a regular customer and took no real notice to it at the time, until when I received the meal and actually had a good look at the meal itself, the fries were as dry and as stale as cardboard. Thinking to myself this was probably intentionally done from lack of care.
Whilst finishing my meal I then moved on to eating my strawberry sundae. Happily sharing it with my 5 year old son, enjoying the sweet smooth and creamy ice-cream I then noticed that there was something solid in my mouth. To my realisation it was not ice-cream and I quickly removed the ice-cream from my sons reach and spat it out to have a clear view of a cockroach! "That was just in my mouth!" as well as the contaminated food that myself and my son had just been eating.
I returned back to the hungry jacks where I had been served such an abomination and received some what of satisfaction of my money being refund but was denied being able to put in a formal complaint about the worker that served me with poor service and that a cockroach was in my ice cream that myself and my 5 year old son had just eaten.
The crew-worker that served me, refused to give me her name and was saying all kinds of excuses, and not even listening to the assistant manager Zain.
Now, I am currently 8 months pregnant and am smuggling to understand as a customer how these things can happen.
This worker has given me poor customer service, refused my right as a customer to make a formal complaint and has appalled me by not taking orders from her supervisor.
I request that immediate action be taken against the crew worker that refused my right to make a formal complaint. Because she has caused me sevre anxiety today from appalling customer service, contaminated food, failing to comply with standard procedures and most importantly putting my 5 year old sons and my pregnancy's health and wellbeing at risk.
My main focus is mine and my sons health. However, I was refused my right as a customer and was deprived my formal complaint by a girl whom looked like a island back round.
Resolving in taking it upon myself to now contact the head office as well as the district manager and also wanting to speak with a health and safety officer. Not to mention keeping close attention to my health because I am currently 8 months pregnant and as well as my 5 year old son's health.
The store manager assistants name is Zain and also Taylah was on front counter as well as the other girl (island back round) that refused my formal complaint.
I am looking to take matters further if mine or my son's health have any issues or mainly if no action is taken out against the crew member that refused my formal complaint also the others involved if neccessary. Because myself and my family have lived in the local area for over 10 years and i do not want any other cases like this happening again deliberately.
p.s i have photos as well as the assistant manager has taken a photo as well.

Saturday 5:27pm - 7:35pm Caloundra Hungry Jacks
Caloundra HJ's is filthy, disgusting, chaotic with indifferent staff.
After viewing the filth and clutter everywhere, I spoke to the "new" manager who said she was brought in to clean the place up and she'd had three people call in sick that night. Although 5 - 6 appeared to be on duty. OUR ORDER: Our 2 coffees had been left sitting on the coffee machine's tray the whole 45 minutes after our order was given - to when we received our food. I had to ask them where were our 2 coffees and didn't realise the two coffees that had been sitting there all that time were ours. They were totally undrinkable. The 2 packets of onion rings we ordered were fried to death and hard to chew. The 2 chicken burgers and 1 bacon burger were fine. SERVING COUNTER: The front counter had at least 6 dried & wet coffee & drink stains spread across it. I politely asked an Asian? staff member if she could wipe it all up and the look I got from her was blistering ... some five minutes later she then wiped it up - but not before she stood by the register watching another staffer take another order on it.
Under the coffee machine near the window-side is absolute filth. There were four soiled & used serviettes on the main counter by the coffee machine. I mentioned this to the 'new manager' and she said she "was too busy to do anything but serve customers - what with being 3 staff short." All the tables needed a thorough clean because a simple wipe over would not have cleaned them.
There were a group of six teenagers who had ordered before us, and after us were three single customers. Not busy at all. I estimate that apart from spending about five minutes eating what edible food we could that we spent probably an hour and fifteen minutes there and could not wait to leave.
I love HJ's food and we eat there alot and each time the Caloundra store is in varying stages of uncleanliness and disorder. There is always food and spilt liquid on the tables, counter and floor. It is a dive.
REGISTER: The receipt machine, "was broken" advised the manager and they were waiting for the mechanic to come and fix it. I had noted their promotional notice on the counter, "retain the receipt for a free cheeseburger" and then I asked her how I could claim my free cheeseburger without a receipt number.
Finally, I was reluctantly issued with a computer generated 'Customer Order Details' with the USER NAME : ROOT.
It had no receipt number is on it.
THE MANAGER: The manager was an all round very unhelpful person and said there was nothing she could do about anything as she didn't have time and it was Saturday night. They were not busy.
We ate our burgers and tried eating the onion rings but binned most of them. We left our 2 full cups of undrinkable coffee on the dirty table - the cleanest one there.
Hungry Jack's has a reputation to uphold and if the awful state of Caloundra's HJ's is an indication of the rest of their stores, according to complaints on the web then why has been going on like this for far too long and why aren't the Health Inspectors doing their job?
Send in a mystery customer and see and experience it for themselves.

My parents and I went to Hungry Jacks at elizabeth for lunch on Thursday 8th of January 2015. My mum and I went to find a table while dad waited for the food. All the tables and chairs were dirty, we had to clean them before we could sit down. The floor was so slippery that both myself and my mum slipped multiple times.
once we had our food, I had to get them to remake the burger as it looked disgusting, the bacon was raw and there was only half a dozen tiny bits of lettuce. When they did remake it the guy serving had to talk the cook how to make it without messing it out. Disgraceful!
We all know that when you eat at fast food to expect a certain amount of sloppiness but this over all experience was just disgusting.

just bought a burger from herston hungry jacks. it took 3 attempts to get my order right. tje fries were sodden and had grit in them. the onion rings were dry, and the burger was the most pathetic excuse of crap i have ever seen. the lady that served mumbled all the time and prodded my open burger with her finger. disgusting. I'm going to be lodging a formal complaint with the appropriate authorities come the morning. Hungry Jacks at Caloundra is below standard. I've been there twice now and my complaints are:-
Excessive time to wait for food with no apology or explnation/warning
Food served so late we didn't have time to eat it before our 6pm commitment
store crowed with long waits
they run out of things eg choclate topping, frozen coke
food is cold stiff and hard to swallow obviously been sitting there
not enough staff
I've been at Caloundra hungry jacks and went by drive through and have to order 'large angry veggie burger meal 4-5 times and staff member could not get that and then I went to front window and repeated it again, she gave me meal with some beef burger or something. I went there back after realising that at home place and asked that you gave me wrong burger to same staff member, she did not replied, she did attend me and said to go to next window, no any sorry at all, very unusual service, very poor, might be non trained staff on Saturday low pay

I ordered a meal at deerpark hungary jacks drive through on the 19 July 2013. I am a vegetarian so I ordered a vegie burger as a meal and two vegetarian (cheese burger without meat) meal. I stressd to the person that the meals be vegetarian without meat.I went away with the food to my sons tennis 20 mins away . I opened the paper bag and distributed the meal to my kids as it was packed. We started to eat starting with the chips first and the cheese burger, .When i opened the vegie burger I saw that the burger was a BEEF burger . My child was at the tennis training so I was not able to return straight away. I went back to the deerpark hungary jacks and told what had happened. I was asked where is the other things I ordered. I told the lady that I had eaten others I just want the beef burger returned and have a vege burger instead. The lady was very rude to me and said "no you ate the other things Hungary jacks policy is to return all you ordered"
. She did not refund me, nor, give me a vegie burger and was giving me the beef burger back. I am A Hindu vegetarian and so are my kids. Never consumed beef and pork. before. I told the lady that was a vegetarian. But she just was so rude, took the burger and shut the window on me to go away at the drive in. It was raining heavily so I had to go away.
We enjoy our Hungry jacks burger every few weeks but this incident has really put us off. I should be given a refund or a vegie burger, that is all I am fairly asking for. I paid for it, the staff at Hungry Jacks made a mistake and they should correct it.

hi im the fiance of the victim speaking on her behalf of the incident to sir or mam receiving this report. well where to start we ordered two whopper meals one with cheese and one vegie burger meal except tea instead of softdrink
mistake 1: the clumsy lady i would love to use explicit language upon which i will refrain from doing knocked scolding hot tea on my fiancee
mistake 2: we got three whoppers instead of 2 whoppers and a veggie burger like we ordered
in overall saying i was displeased with the discipline and management of the situation and i feel that management did not step in at the required moment ( fiancee scolded ) which to me shows the lack of duty of care to their customers. so my final words i'd like to say i feel disgusted and very appalled wishing for a response thankyou.

I don't make any complaints but this has happened way to much now hungry jacks i the city near rundle mall the sevice is bad, i waited 10 mins for 2 burgers and a few hashbrowns the staff were to busy talking and the staff out the back werent helping eachother, they messed up my order and the people before me didnt get there order till after me, i no there busy but there to busy to be talking joking and laughing rather then doing there jobs.

Simply ask for a Large Fires at this particular store, and I GUARANTEE it will be filled level with the FRONT LOWER SECTION of the box ! NO CHIPS above this line ! You Order LARGE and get the equivalent of a Medium - this has been the shops practice for years - I know - it is my local - and NO AMOUNT of complaints has fixed the problem ! On several occasions we have bought a meal at Caloundra Qld Hungry Jacks. The service is unacceptable as staff ALWAYS get orders wrong. The burgers and chips are ALWAYS cold. The hygiene of this store is appalling to say the least. Dirty tables and flies.Today was the last straw with staff fooling around and not a vehicle going through the drive thru they once again stuffed up the order and when it did arrive it was COLD again. The immature duty manager needs to address himself as well as staff and perhaps go for retraining in customer service. I've always prefered Hungry Jacks menu but as of today with my Bali Belly I will be eating down the road each Sunday.

ridiculous product substitution
Let's say someone orders a salad. You don't have any salads. No problem! Just go in the back, find a styrofoam box, write "Salad" on it in Magic Marker, fill it with some leftover burger toppings (lettuce, onion, pickles, tomatoes)--presto! While I admire the entrepreneurial spirit of Hungry Jack's Marulan, I'd like my $5.95 back.

13.4.09 My husband and son went to Hungry Jacks Restaurant Rowville -Stud Road to bring home some burgers & fries. When they arrived home they sorted out the food and my daughter found a black bent nail at least 2 inches in length amongst her fries. We couldn't believe what we were seeing as we all sat together at the table. My husband then called Hungry Jacks asking to speak to the manager of the restaurant who was not there that day, so therefor spoke to Chantel (acting manager for the day). She asked him to come in and fill in forms and to bring back the food.
What a horrible incident. If my child was much younger than 13 years old, I'm sure they would have put the nail in their mouths thinking it was a burnt french frie.
