Hungry jacks stunner meal
I just caught Didi home and ordered myself through windows a cheeseburger stunner meal plain add bacon only meat cheese and bacon specifying allergic to tomato. Took a long time to wait for it (to point had to pay my driver extra) and when got home cheeseburger was normal with pickles and tomato sauce. I had specified allergic to tomato and now I only have chips drink and icecream. I really needed that burger and well and truly paid for it both with HJ and driver so was more than annoyed when got home 5min later to find wrong AND all numbers listed online for Belmont HJs are not correct and people to call not available. I
normally tell everyone how great you are re allergies but now cant even call to get resolved...you look up online and try. If i dont get a resolution everyone will hear opposite to what I've always stated.
Desired outcome: I need at least a refund and a correct meal. I would have been happy with correct delivered right now....but your phone numbers won't allow it. I'm disgusted.
horrible manager
I've been working at Hj for a short while and I've only ever met the top manager once and it was a bad run in and since then i haven't been getting shifts and she refuses to reply to my emails i had a hard time getting the job due to my lack of experience and i will gladly take shifts i know of people working who absolutely don't want to be there yet they are scheduled more than 3 times per week i would love to understand what the managers problem with me is but shes doesn't reply to me and i haven't seen her since what would you advise i do.

so on the 11/09/22 i bought a burger in Queensland and was very carfull in asking for NO MAYO ...only to be given a burger with mayo ...im highl allergic to egg so my flight from cairns to Melbourne was spent in the toilet with diarrhea ! ...lucky i only took one mouthful or you may have had a law suit on you :( ..i did save the receipt but unfortunately it went through the wash this morning grr but here is the bank transaction and pic of the mayo on said burger ...not good enough in this day and age of allergy's
Service/ restaurant and manager
Good afternoon today my wife and I went to your store in Melville and what a bad experience it was. Firstly we walked in and the restaurant was dirty rubbish and food all over tables a homeless sleeping along the tables, we went to place our order and the staff member was miserable and rude. We asked for a manager and god he was even worse trying to tell him about the whole experience and he was not interested telling us if we don’t like it then leave. So we asked for our money yes he refunded but threw it us. What bad experience never again!
On line orders
On three occasions I have paid for an online order at Hungry Jacks, Kallangur without receiving an order number and was unable to collect the order paid for. Yesterday I paid twice in succession for a $20 order that my wife was unable to collect. I had difficulty allowing the app to locate my phone's location in settings which prevented the order from being sent to the kitchen. I advised their manager, Josh, who has recorded my complaint but was unable to assist further.
I attach a screen shot record of the transactions in question and request you process a refund.

Hi,
I would like to provide a complaint against the service provided by staff at Hungry Jacks - Bankstown - Newbridge road
I was advised to wait at the waiting bay for my order. I almost waiting for 30 minutes with no coming forward to provide me with the order.
I went inside the store to ask about why my order was late. Two of the girls at Reception ignored me completely and a third one was laughing showing no respect.
The manager then came out and after I had relayed the problem to her, she went to check and came back to advise that the order was given out to one of the cars.
This is really disappointing by all means and I expect a letter of apology or some form of compensation

Food was rubbish
I went to hungry jacks Bull creek on Thursday lunch time 21st July and ordered a bacon deluxe up grade took 15 mins to get it when I finally did went to table sat down open the bag chips were fine drink ok but burger was crap I got one piece of beef one slice bacon a cut of a tomato 3 slices of lettuce wish taken a photo of it but didn't any as I said was crap it didn't look like the photo that's for sure I will not ever go back your shop ever again bloody crap.

Hi Mark, didn't you think to take it back and show the team member who served you, or ask to see the manager? Because if you did, I'm sure they would have replaced it for you. Please keep this in mind in the future. Most restaurant's want you to enjoy your meal so you will come back again. The Bacon Deluxe is my all time favourite HJ's burger and I've never had a bad one yet! lol And just a heads up...the burgers never look like they do in the photo's...ever lol

17/7/2022 4.40pm I entered drive thru at Hungry Jacks Craigieburn ,it took 15 minutes to be asked for my order,i waited another 20 minutes to get to window to pay only to be told cash payments only and that eftpos system wasnt working,i was so upset,i had just ordered dinner for my family and waited for nearly an hour to exit drive thru to be told this ...this is inexcusable for any food outlet to subject their customers to..where was the manager to sort the problem and honor maybe our orders for being put thru such pain.I will never return to a 2bob short run food outlet.
Desired outcome: i would like the CEO to respond to me and maybe know why the company name is in such disrepute.

I made an order through drive through on the 1/7/2022... Long story short I believe I was given the completely wrong meal... No biggie [censored] happens so I rang hungry jacks as well as filed the issue through the website and was called back days later regarding the issue... I was told the issue would be forwarded to other department within the company I assume and I would hear back from them within 24 hours but it's been a week and nothing...

Store Manager
I would like to let you know about the toxic culture in your store in north Hobart Tasmania .My son has just quit from the store in North Hobart due to the store manager not paying him for a shift he worked two weeks ago after speaking to multiple store managers to get this rectified, this is not the first time this has happened over the 3 years he has worked for them. The next point is I don't think it is reasonable that these team members get yelled at by managers on a regular base on their shift for making mistakes when they are young men and women starting out in their working years they need guidance not to be put down and bullied by someone that thinks they are superior to them when it should be up to these people to set examples for these young men and women to help them get a start in life and build confidence to help them grow. This is a disgrace if this is the culture that your company is setting for our young adults of this world I would suggest you take a look at who you are employing to represent your brand.

2 small fries at $2.50 each total $5.00
2 small chocolate sundae's at $2.00 each total $4.00.
total $22.80.when I queried the price i was told the total is $26.00.
I will pay whatever the correct pricing is but when i get ripped off then i take it very personnel hope you will reply very soon before i share my experience on social media.

Drive through Sebastopol Hungry Jacks
Barely touched bag when passed from worker and it ripped in half the worker pushes the bottom of the bag. Ended up with entire contents of order coming out of bag and boxes, sitting in my lap and the interior of car. Was offered new chips, when worker told it was entire contents of order. Reply was I'm sorry we've just ran out of meat. Didn't even offer to assist clean mess, and had to ring and tell work will be late as had to clean mess and change uniform. Ended up with nothing. Drinks wont even given.
Disrespectful treatment of adolescent staff members
There have been a number of incidences where managerial staff have been verbally abusive toward teenage staff members. My Son (aged 16 years) was one of them.
He is a diligent young man who works hard. But as a young worker, he is bound to make mistakes at times (don't we all). Rather than being spoken to about it respectfully and in private, he was yelled at in front of colleagues and on one occasion, sent home because the restaurant manager "just can't deal with you tonight, leave as soon as you finish that". This occurred today, Saturday 30th April 2022. It is yet to be seen as to whether he will be paid the required minimum 3 hours (out of a 5 hour) shift.
This is disgraceful behaviour from a restaurant manager who is behaving as though she is on a power trip from being in charge of these young people. What she needs to understand is that she is also responsible for them and ensuring they are treated right in the workplace. An embarrassing and reprimandable example to set.
Desired outcome: The restaurant manager to receive formal counselling/ reprimand. For the culture in this workplace to be spotlighted and improved for other young people.

No cheese in sunbury store
Hi just wanting to express my disappointment that the sunbury stoe had no cheese for any of there burgers. I'm very upset the store was happy to charge full price for there burgers even though they couldn't supply cheese if they had cheese and I wanted extra they are happy to charge for it.
Desired outcome: A response and refund would be nice.

The food is stone COLD! This is the third time I have purchased a whopper burger at the drive through. It has been at lunch time when there should be a fast turnover of food. On each occasion, the burger has been stone cold as though it has been sitting there for hours in the waiting tray, for some hapless customer to drive through and order it. Food presentation and unreasonable awaiting time
I always Order online to avoid waiting time and make it easier to pick up at the drive thru. I always have to wait when picking-up and sometimes even wait at the waiting bay. This has happened too me TWICE, both times it was not busy. Why would they have an app to help with convenience but still keep people waiting for so long. Just to paint a picture of how slow the process of ordering is in hungry jacks. So I ordered my food at 0840pm drove to the drive thru at 0855pm waited in the waiting bay to receive my food at 0915pm mind you there are no cars when I arrived at the drive-thru pick up and I saw about 2 cars after me get service and leave before I got my meal.
The food presentation is also shocking it's like some one just threw stuff together in a hurry. The food presentation is enough for me to not eat or buy from hungry jacks.
Desired outcome: Competency in customer services would be amazing. Better foor presentation and reasonable waiting time.
Flame grilled chicken breast fillet burger

I really should have done something at the store and also this way before now and also taken a pic of the contents!
On two separate ocassions I have received from HJ's Richlands, Qld, 4077 the above burger with not one but two overized crumbed chicken nuggets, insufficient lettuce and tomato that looks absolutely nothing like what you advertise. These burgers weren't made with love and looks like someone stepped on them before wrapping!
So where did the fillets the store received go?
Desired outcome: Internal investigation into this store that seems to think they can mislead and pull one over their customers.Two free large size meals of my choice like I normally order.

Armadale HJs drive through... Iced chocolate lid not on! All over me, all over seat, all over my console, I gave it back, and they didn't even give me a new one... Now my car stinks of off sour milk. Yes they were under the pump but realy, no sorry no help clean up I had to ask for some wipes, burger was stone cold. I did eat the fries. Shame shame shame...

28/3/22 10.40pm Gepps Cross S.A. Ordered 1 family bundle meal & it took 27 minutes to get my meal thru the drive thru, I ended up parking my car & going inside to get my meal as my car was sitting idle for soooo long thru drive thru my car nearly overheated.
Not happy at all, meant to be fast food & it took 27 mins, let alone the amount of petrol waiting 27 mins. My family are not McDonald's fans but will definitely be giving them ago as I am very disappointed with the service I received, I wasted my time, money & petrol getting Hungry Jacks tonight
