Top-Notch Quality but Sizing Issues: My Review of Three T-shirts from IWOOT
I recently copped some Three T-shirts from IWOOT and I gotta say, the quality is top-notch! I got them for my dad, brother, and hubby, but the sizing was a bit off. All of them were labeled as Large, but some were too snug while others were a tad too loose. Nonetheless, the designs were all super cool and I would definitely rock them myself. However, I'm not sure if the guys would have been as stoked about the selection as I was. Overall, IWOOT has some dope stuff, but just be mindful of the sizing.
Disappointing Experience with IWOOT: Missing Telescope and Frustrating Customer Service
So, I recently purchased a bundle from IWOOT | I Want One of Those (iwantoneofthose.com) that included a Nasa telescope and a t-shirt for only ?29.99. However, when my package arrived, I was disappointed to find that the telescope was missing. I reached out to their customer service team, but the process was a bit frustrating. I had to go through a silly back-and-forth messaging system and then fill out a ridiculously dumb form. It took them about 3-4 weeks to get back to me.
Finally, on December 22nd, 2021, I received an email from them saying that the telescope was out of stock and they would be refunding me. I hope they actually follow through with this promise. But, when I checked their website, I noticed that they are still selling the same bundle for ?63.99. This makes me wonder if they are just trying to make more money off of the same product and not actually restocking the telescope.
The worst part about this experience is that my little boy is missing out on a gift this Christmas because of their mistake. I wouldn't want anyone else to risk having the same experience, so please be aware before making a purchase from IWOOT.
Terrible Customer Service and Delayed Delivery: My Experience with IWOOT
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with IWOOT. Their customer service is just terrible. I was chatting with this guy named Harry and out of nowhere he just ended the chat. Like, what the heck man? And to top it off, the estimated arrival date for my order was way off. I mean, it was supposed to arrive before Christmas but it didn't show up until like 20 days later. And get this, they don't even tell you about the delay when you're checking out for international deliveries. You gotta go digging through their help section to find that out. And when I brought it up to Harry, he just told me I should have read the terms and agreements. Like, come on dude, that's not helpful at all. And now, because of their screw up, I don't even have a Christmas gift for my loved one. I'm never using this website again and I'm definitely telling everyone I know to avoid IWOOT.
Disappointing Experience with IWOOT: Late Delivery, Broken Mug, and Wrong Item Received
I recently had an experience with IWOOT | I Want One of Those (iwantoneofthose.com) that left me feeling quite disappointed. I had placed an order for four mugs on September 13th, and despite receiving numerous emails assuring me that they would be dispatched soon, they never were. Eventually, I had to turn to PayPal for a refund.
To my surprise, however, I received a parcel today containing two of the mugs I had ordered. While I was happy to finally receive something, I was disappointed to find that one of the mugs had been smashed to bits in transit. To make matters worse, one of the mugs I received was completely different from anything I had ordered - I had specifically requested rare dunne style mugs, but instead was sent a Super Mario mug.
I have to say, I wish I had done my research before placing an order with IWOOT. After reading through some of the bad reviews online, it seems that my experience is not unique. While I appreciate that mistakes can happen, I can't help but feel let down by the whole experience.
Terrible Experience with IWOOT: Don't Waste Your Time or Money
So, I had a bit of a rough go with IWOOT the first time I ordered from them. But, being the optimist that I am, I decided to give them another chance. I mean, they have some pretty cool stuff, right? Well, let me tell you, it was a mistake. A big one. Do yourself a favor and don't order from them.
I ordered the Mystery Geek T-shirt 10 Pack on December 3rd, with an estimated delivery date of December 18th. I was really excited to get them in time for Christmas. But, alas, they never arrived. I contacted customer support on January 1st and was told that they hadn't even been dispatched yet. They said they would flag it to the warehouse and get back to me.
Fast forward a full month later, and I still hadn't heard anything. So, I reached out again today and was told that they were never even dispatched in the first place and are now out of stock. What a bummer. They did cancel my order for me, but as a "gesture of apology," they offered me a measly ?5 credit on my account. I mean, come on. That's hardly an apology. And, to be honest, I doubt I'll even use the voucher because I won't be shopping there again.
So, take my advice and steer clear of IWOOT. It's just not worth the hassle.
Disappointing Experience with IWOOT: Poor Packaging, Overcharging, and No Customer Service
I recently had an experience with IWOOT | I Want One of Those (iwantoneofthose.com) that left me feeling quite frustrated. I had ordered a gift for my nephew and encountered several issues while trying to complete the transaction. Every time I visited the site, I was met with error messages related to payment problems.
After finally managing to place my order, I eagerly awaited its arrival. However, when the package finally arrived, I was disappointed to find that it was poorly packed and on the verge of bursting open. Inside was a bright green and yellow foldout chair that was much larger than what I had ordered. To make matters worse, I was charged an exorbitant amount of money that made no sense. I had only expected to pay around $119, but instead, my account was charged $196.
I attempted to contact the company via email, but received no response. Frustrated and desperate for answers, I even changed my phone plan to include international calls so that I could try to reach them by phone. However, the numbers I found seemed to be disconnected, and I was unable to get through.
At this point, I was beyond angry and regretted ever placing an order with this company. In a last-ditch effort, I turned to social media and posted my grievances on their Facebook page. After pasting my angry message at least 20 times, someone finally contacted me.
Overall, I would not recommend IWOOT | I Want One of Those (iwantoneofthose.com) to anyone. Their incompetence and lack of customer service left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.
Shady Business Practices: My Disappointing Experience with IWOOT | I Want One of Those
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with IWOOT | I Want One of Those (iwantoneofthose.com). I ordered a bunch of Lego sets and when they arrived, every single one of them was damaged. I'm talking scratches, tears, and even some of the boxes were bent and folded from the pressure. It was pretty clear that these items had been mishandled during packaging and shipping.
Now, this isn't the first time this has happened to me with IWOOT. Every order I've placed with them has arrived in a similar condition. It makes me wonder if they're buying back damaged or "seconds" lots and selling them as new. Or maybe their storage and packaging facilities are just really bad. Either way, it's not a good look.
I've complained to them several times about the condition of my orders and they've always given me a refund, so they clearly know it's a problem. But here's the kicker - after several complaints, they decided to close my account and not accept any more orders from me. And they didn't even give me any notice beforehand. To make matters worse, they're now denying me access to my previous invoices on my account, which doesn't seem right according to data laws.
Overall, IWOOT seems to have a pretty shady business model. They ship damaged goods and then ban customers who complain about it. That's not cool, and it's definitely pushing the boundaries of legality. I wouldn't recommend shopping with them unless you're okay with receiving damaged items and potentially getting banned for speaking up about it.
Beware of SOWIA/IWOOT: A Nightmare Experience with a Pyramid Scheme Mixed with Tax Evasion
I just want to share my terrible experience with SOWIA / IWOOT. I ordered a phone from them back in October (order no. ***), and it was a complete nightmare. It felt like I was caught up in a pyramid scheme mixed with tax evasion. I had to deal with their (BOT-) customer service, which was a complete waste of time. I strongly advise anyone who has been scammed by this company to report them to the UK consumer protection HMRC. This is crucial! Also, contact your financial service providers and ask them to put "THG" (which includes IWOOT, ZAVVI, lookfantastic.com, Mankind.co.uk, Ry.com.au, etc.) on the list of "Highrisk Sellers." You can write to PayPal, Klarna, Visa, Mastercard, and others. Just read their Wikipedia entry on "The Hut Group," and you'll see that there are hundreds of cases like mine.
Don't trust the reviews on Trustpilot or other review sites. They're usually fake, and the customer service always uses fake names. Paid merchandise is often not sent out to customers, and returns are allegedly never received in the UK camp (keep track of your tracking number!). Even if they do receive your return, they won't refund your money. The customer service is pseudo-polite and plays games with you, telling you that your money will arrive in 3-5 days, but it never does. Critical entries are blocked on Instagram, and there's no phone number to call. No one answers the PayPal email address either. It's a complete horror show, and I've never experienced anything like it.
If you paid with PayPal, they'll lie to you and say they can't refund your money because of an open "conflict." That's bull$#*! Never mark a "conflict" as "solved" until the money is back in your account. Once it's marked as "solved," you can't open it again, and SOWIA / IWOOT knows that. You'll never see your money again, and you'll be left to deal with it yourself.
I'm going to report this scam to the press in Manchester and write to the investors. I'm sure many other customers feel the same way and will join in. I'll never buy from them again. If you want to burn your money, buy WinZIP or donate to WinRAR.
Please, if you've been scammed by this company, report them to HMRC and your financial services provider. Let's put an end to this and stop customers from being ripped off. And to the customer service team, please don't bother with excuses or apologies. You have my order number, and you didn't do anything for 1.5 months. Save your breath.

Iwoot
I ordered 2 sweatshirts for my partners birthday then decided to return and purchase a t-shirt instead as his birthday is in summer. I returned both sweatshirts. Tracking information proves this. Returned through evri and is saying in transit. Contacted iwoot customer service who refunded me for the t-shirt which was a third of the price of the sweatshirts. No refund received for sweatshirts.
Desired outcome: Refund
Mugs
I ordered mugs on the 22nd of December as a Christmas present as well as another item which was a bundle. On the 23rd of December I was told it had been delivered but my mugs Still said waiting for dispatch. I have contacted customer services multiple times and they keep saying that I need to print, sign and send a form back which I'm not able to do, apparently I have to do this before they will investigate. I've asked for a refund but they're just saying about this form that I need to send them
Desired outcome: Refund
Lego Set
Ordered a £110 Lego set on the 14th Dec as a Xmas present. I contacted Iwoot prior to ordering to ensure it would be delivered before Xmas, they confirmed all orders received before the 15th would be delivered for Xmas. Contacted them another 2 times as order sat as processing. Then contacted them and asked them to cancel the order, they moved order the next day to awaiting dispatch and took the money from my account. I have contacted them multiple times since and they are now advising they cannot cancel as order is awaiting dispatch (has been awaiting dispatch since before Xmas and I asked them to cancel it before it went to awaiting dispatch). This company has taken money for a product that they clearly not have for sale in the first place.

Hoodies
I ordered 2 Kids Hoodies as Christmas presents, they arrived late, and the quality of the garments are horrible, half the print on the front on both are missing, the remaining print gave run, I would be ashamed to give them to my Grandsons, I contacted IWOOT who just sent a link to returns there website, no apologies, no nothing, there customer service is non existent, could cannot talk to anybody. This company is a Joke...
Desired outcome: Goods as promised
None delivery and refund refusal
I ordered some ear phone in aug I paid next day delivery they have never arrived I have contacted through the website and Facebook messages chat multiple times and no one ever resolves the issue they are in breach of the consumer rights act 2015 I just want a full refund!
I have sent proof that the item has never been delivered I honestly believe it is a scam. The agents are clearly not based in the UK they are very scripted in their response. I have never seen a Hermes delivery ‘failed' I believe that is a fake link they have to the the website so it looks as though they are for filling your orders when in actual fact they are not.
Desired outcome: Refund
Refund not given despite goods collected by their courier
Order /Complaint Number [protected]
I ordered several items of Lego from IWOOT but cancelled the order minutes later when it became clear that a 20% discount I had been promised by having been referred, and advertised in large letters on the opening page, was to applied at checkout.
I immediately sought to contact IWOOT and found that there was no phone number or email only a messaging service which would not be answered for 24 hours. I immediately sent a message but they then claimed they could not cancel it as it had already entered dispatch. This could not have been the case as it was in the evening and New Years eve.
After some more messaging it became clear they were sending it anyway but would after further contact arrange for a courier and collect the unopened, original packaged items again. They said they could not do that for a further 10 days. They then collected the parcel, with the label provided by themselves. A further 2 weeks and many contacts later they claim they cannot locate the parcel in their warehouse and will pay a refund as soon as they find the parcel. However, it has now been 28 days since the purchase and I have not had a refund. The money involved is substantial, nearly £300. I get fobbed off, asked for the tracking number - of the label they themselves provided - and having tried, the tracking number is not working. I am needing this refund.
Desired outcome: full refund
Bad customer services
I placed my first order through IWOOT website for my kid's Christmas gift on 12/14/2020, but until now (01/12/2021) I still not received my order, the tracking number shows this package has been holding since 12/16/2020. I try to contact their customer, but they reply they can't do anything even cancel my order, I can get my refund only I return the package, but the question is since I didn't receive my order how I can return it? They choose the delivery company and now the package lost why I should be responsible for that? IWOOT so sucks, keep away from this company.
vinyl player
Nearly 3 months and still no delivery. All I get are automated responses and tracking numbers that don't work. I'm pretty sure they've stolen my money. Every time I submit a querie, they respond saying that they're expecting it to be delivered within a few days. Weeks go by, nothing happens. This is the problem with internet sales. There's no way we can get to them and demand our product or money.
swan sk261050ebn 1.7l eternal beau pattern jug kettle - cream
I bought the above last November Ordered on 16/11/17, Dispatched on 24/11/17 and received in early December. The order number was [protected], my name & address are Mary Johnston 18 Stone Lodge Lane, Ipswich IP2 9PB.
The kettle is only used by myself and my husband (before he passed away in March) so light use. However, the spout of the kettle has started rusting on the edges. Also a little of the cream has chipped off near the lid. This is disappointing, to say the least as we really like the kettle that matches our toaster.
If this is just a one-off faulty kettle is it possible to have a replacement?
Thank you, Mary

I ordered a black and green boostapak and was sent a blue trunkie. I have emailed customer relations 3 times and had no response in 11days. I cannot find any other contact details for them. Disappointed does not come close to how I feel about this along with storing a trunkie in my hallway all this time I have missed the occasion the original item was ordered for.
company
members asked about shopping on IWOOT I Want One Of Those. Website for gifts. It seems fair to make you aware of the problems associated with that website. There are numerous complaints on line where people have paid money for orders which never get delivered. it seems IWOOT claim items are in stock when they are not, they do not deliver and do not allow order cancellations for lateness. Refunds are not offered and on the rare occasion the company communicates the emails are just generic as there is nobody taking action on behalf of the company. Customers are lodging their numerous complaints with TradingStandardsbu it would appear the company are not trading as normal. IWOOT are still taking new orders but not delivering anymore. Readers can do their own research but as the issue was raised on here it seems reasonable to advise people to be cautious.
no service, no response.
What a terrible customer service! I have no words to describe how disappointed I am. First of all, why don't you publish your phone number? It would be easier to contact you. At least, I would really try. There's no guarantee someone will pick it up, but anyway...
It takes them days to reply, and their answers are bot-generated and have nothing to do with the issue. I'm so tired trying to get in touch with you because it's absolutely useless.
Terrible!
I won't buy from them again
Recently I ordered Phillips headphones from iwantoneofthose.co.uk. The info on their website stated that the delivery would take 5 working days, but I waited 10 days. I tried to contact seller. They left only email address, which I think they never check, because I sent them 7 emails, and I still haven’t received any response. So unreliable and useless seller, and I won’t buy from them again.
This site has made me so furious
This site has made me so furious! I ordered something from them for my nephew. Every time I went on the site, I got information such as: problem with payment.
Etc. I finally received a terribly packed, (Almost busting open) huge box with a bright green/yellow foldout chair... I was charged on my account a figure that didn't even make any sense! I was charged 196.00? I don't know where that figure came from, because what I ordered was smaller, and about 119.00 or less. I could not get an answer through email. I had my att account changed for international calls so I could call them. I was having trouble because the #'s seemed to be disconnected. I think I was never so pissed off at my bad judgement ever before. I had to "find" them on facebook and paste my very angry letter at least 20 times before someone contacted me. Loosers! Incompetent! Do not buy from them!
I bought a Spider Catcher as a fun Christmas gift . It arrived teribly badly packed and the gadget fell apart in my hands when I lifted it . The filaments to ' catch spiders ' is so sharp and hard that it would instantly mangle any spider or bug . I am so, so angry that IWOOT has shown such contempt towards me, a purchaser, and the product is such poor quality that it isn't even worth the time and money to return - and that is supposing I could find out where to . This piece of rubbish will be binned and I will put dpwn my £9.99 outlay to experience and try to be more selective where I shop in future .
