YOUR COMPLAINT
I received two bills from Highland Ridge Hospital for my son Drake Stotler. I called the number on the bill and was told that was not the right number. So I called another number and tried to set up a payment arrangment. I was told the max of months they could do was 6 months. that would mean $364 down and $207 a month after that. I cannot afford that. My son has been in and out of hospitals and the medical bills are racking up. They would not help me at all. six month payment plan or nothing at all. Is that legal? The amount they want per month is a small ca payment. I am already paying several hundred a month in other medical bills. I called the actual hospital as I was directed and they were rude and again wouldnt help me. This hospital has complaints after complaints and can no longer accept new patients as they are known as "the rape hospital". It seems their billing and collection of debt needs to be looked into as well. So now my options are to just let this hit my credit.
