The price stay the same ship from New York to la they were fast and polite. I was really happy with Impress Moving & Storage, Inc. They didn't change the price when they shipped my stuff from New York to LA. The movers were quick and nice.

I had to move from NJ to NC
I had to move from NJ to NC. I hired Impress and they did a great job. Ms. Natalie M was my point of contact at Impress. She was very professional, cooperative, and explained all the details to me. The delivery team was very professional and delivered everything in perfect condition. The terms and condition of Impress moving is also very simple and extra charges are also explained very well in the invoice/estimate. (it is always better to discuss any possible extra charges beforehand). Overall it was a great experience with Impress Impress and I highly recommend their service for any long distance move based on my positive experience.

Impress Moving & Storage is a total scam company! I contacted Impress Moving & Storage a few weeks ago for my move to another state. Their sales rep, let's call him Bob, first took my list of stuff and sent me an email with a fixed estimate of $1,500 for the move. But guess what? A week later, Bob and Impress Moving changed their so-called "Binding Price" to $1,805 without any honesty or decency. Can you believe it? And that's not all! As I went ahead with the reservation, Bob suddenly changed my inventory list without even asking me. It was a sneaky trick to charge me extra on moving day. This moving company has absolutely no integrity. It's just awful, and I strongly advise you to steer clear of Impress Moving & Storage.

I gotta say, like a lot of people, I weighed my options and read all the reviews before settling on Impress Moving. I went with them because they had the cheapest price, but let me tell you, you get what you pay for. Right from the start, when they came to pick up my stuff, they didn't have my headboard or my storage bed on their inventory. So, of course, I had to pay extra. It annoyed me because when I called to do the inventory, they didn't even ask about the headboard, they only asked about the box spring. Other companies actually take the time to see what they'll be moving. They should do the same so people don't end up paying more for their mistakes. And let me tell you, it wasn't cheap.
They also said they would cover my mattress, but instead of using a proper cover, they used dirty old blankets. Now my brand new mattress has black marks all over the side. It's terrible! They charge an arm and a leg for a mattress bag, and if I had known that beforehand, I would have just ordered one from Amazon myself.
Oh, and here's another thing. When you hand in your money or money order, don't expect to get a receipt. I had a situation with money, and strangely enough, the people on their end had a receipt, but I didn't. What I thought was a receipt turned out to be an updated binding price and an updated inventory list. And even when they dropped off my stuff, still no receipt! I had to take a picture of a document, and apparently, that's supposed to be enough. I've never heard of such a thing with a moving company. No professionalism at all.
To top it all off, they had a mechanical delay that cost me time off from work. They ended up delaying the move by 2 days. And when they finally arrived to set up my bed, they left the job unfinished, promising to come back with a tool. But guess what? They never returned. It took them another 2 days to actually complete the job. What a hassle!
Seriously, do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.

If there was half a star I would give it! Terrible terrible terrible experience! First of all they were very communicative when they wanted my business but when I wanted an update for my shipment they were so rude and saying that they don’t know because they are in sales and that’s a different department. When I did the booking, I didn’t book as per department therefore the customer care service person who is answering your calls should be knowledgeable in what is happening in the business! It took them 4 days to call me back with an update even after calling them severally wondering why they weren’t calling me back! The shipment was a week late and on top of that they broke so many of my items and lost my boxes too. The contract says that they may come with an 18 wheeler and don’t even call in advance to tell you that. What’s the point of saying he may they are going to do it anyway! I was the last delivery and the trailer was empty, I don’t see why the company wouldn’t have provided something smaller to access my complex. Instead blame the customer for the fact that there is no access for such a ginormous truck! The driver lied that he spoke to me several times earlier in the week, never did. When he came destroyed property after I told him that thing can’t fit in the community. He was yelling at me and cursing at me as if it’s my fault. Then charged me extra for long haul as if it was my fault there was no access for his trailer. Then wanted to charge me extra for one flight and it clearly states in the contract that one flight is clear. Then the sales person Natalie or someone had the audacity to ask me how many stairs?! A flight is a flight and being a person in the built environment there are standards with the building code and therefore Shifting goal posts to charge the client extra is unacceptable! So after losing my stuff they tell me that claims are filed via snail mail like we are in the 1950s! Come on. Is a customer supposed to pay for printing of images and copies of all items to get a claim or is this another gimmick for the customer to just give up on [censored]ty service?! Very very disappointed in this. ComplaintsBoard.com accreditation should remove them from A+ status and move them to F!

I recently moved from *** to *** and hired Impress Moving & Storage, Inc. to handle the job. They promised that my household items would reach my new location no later than June 24th. However, when I called to get an update, they informed me that they had no idea where the driver was. It was quite frustrating.
Finally, on July 14th, my belongings arrived in ***. I had been eagerly waiting for them, but the delay was quite inconvenient. Prior to the move, I had a conversation with the company and we agreed, through email, that I would only have to pay a handling fee of *** dollars for a small truck. I specifically asked and confirmed in the email that the only payment due upon arrival would be the ***.
To my surprise, when my belongings finally arrived, the drivers refused to release them until I paid an additional balance of ***. This was not what we had agreed upon, and it left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of.
Overall, my experience with Impress Moving & Storage, Inc. was disappointing. The delay in delivery and the unexpected demand for extra payment were major inconveniences. I would not recommend their services based on my personal experience.
Moving company messed up big time
Moving company messed up big time. They totally wrecked and broke a bunch of my stuff. They crammed everything into a huge truck, stacking it up sky high. The driver couldn't even reach the top, so he just yanked from the bottom, letting things crash down onto the street without a care in the world. My fancy bike got taken apart and chucked in with other stuff on top of it. Now the brakes and gears are all messed up. When they picked up my things from my house, they used a smaller truck and said they couldn't pack it too full or things would get crushed and ruined. But then they transferred everything to a ginormous truck and packed it right up to the brim. The pickup and delivery were like two totally different operations. And let me tell you, the delivery was a total disaster.

My quote was for 800 cubic feet to move from CT to Fla. On the day of the move (6/18), the moving company said I had more than 800cf. I didn't think I did, but couldn't really do anything about it then. I spoke up though. When the items finally arrived (very late) on 7/7, they were all in a small 12' trailer and a Suburban. I measured and found out that the total items moved were less than 600 cubic feet! I was 200cf BELOW the original quote, not over 800cf like they said. The company won't respond to my email or call me back. This is just plain wrong! It should be a crime! But I'm in Florida and just want to pay for the actual cubic footage used. Thanks to the moving truck breaking down and them using the trailer and suburban, I figured out the real cubic feet.

They lost my boxes and claim that the maximum value is $50-75! Even if the boxes were filled with plates only, we all know they're worth more than $75 max! Just so you know, the boxes were labeled, so they can't say I'm claiming for something other than what was inside. Comparing it to diamonds is just crazy. They lost my valuable shoes (all my fancy work shoes), my pricey APL sneakers (one pair costs $165-250), and all my boots. The delivery was a whole week late. The driver was rude. There was zero communication about how they were delivering the items. They showed up with a trailer. They damaged my property. They even charged me extra, even though it was their fault. The fact that they think refunding me $225 is enough is just plain disrespectful to the items in those two lost boxes.
