I ordered, and paid for, an indesit fridge freezer on 18/04/2013, on a promised, and advertised 7 day delivery, I have had numerous email and telephone conversations with both companies about the delivery, and keep being informed that it is not in stock, the latest is that it is due in stock at indesit on 17/06/2013, this is now becoming a bit of a joke, but is causing my wife and myself great stress, as the old fridge is now not working, and we are having to shop daily, not only causing stress, but great expense, we are both in our 60's, and not in the best of health.

Today waited in for the washing machine repair engineer. Telephoned to check when he would arrive, had a very rude girl on the phone that told me he would get there when he gets there, which was most helpful.
The engineer came at 1.45pm made a meal of changing the plug on the washing machine more than actually fixing the problem which was the door lock.
He left at 2.00pm said he machine was fixed. When I went to use the machine it didnt work all it does now is fills up with water which is very useful.
I telephoned the office and spoke to michelle who sided with the engineer and could not work out why I was so angry when she told me no one would come untill tuesday 2 nd april when I had first origionally called for the first appointment on monday of last week.
I will never insure my maching with you again.

I purchased my indesit washing machine through kohinoor televideo pvt ltd. It is 19 months old and the electronic main printed circuit board found faulty. I have lodged an complaint on the same and got removed from my machine on 21st of jan' 2013. While removing the engineer has promissed to have replaced with in weeks time. After a week of follow up the engineer failed to give any kind of firm commitment and dragging for the day or so. After regiorous follow up's he had asked us to contact mr. Sheikh. I have been told by customer service this will be under warranty and will be set right. Inspite of continous follow up's there is no response from indesit site. We have been contacting their officials along with their channel partners and their service providers mr wilson, mr dipesh. The service engineer who had carried the replacement part carrying with him for days together and giving all false promises as the will be replaced today, tomorrow etc. I fail to understand indesit's pethetic service in india on the warranty period. On checking for the extended warrantee they have denied for accepting the same.

I purchased my indesit washing machine through appliances online. It is 4 months old and the paddle (long plastic thing inside machine) has fallen off and another is loose. I have been told by customer service this will not be under warranty as something such as keys or coins have loosened the paddle and its droped off after a high wash. They want to charge £100 for call out and repair on a machine 4 months old. Also tried to sell me cover. Even large companies seem to be scamin people. Think ill start using the launderette

We purchased the new fridge freezer from comets, we have had it seven months and has started to break down, the cooler is faulty. I phoned up to make a complaint and the women informed me that the warranty is nearly out, would I like to buy an extended warranty £5 per month, I told her, I have phoned up to make a complaint and we want it repaired, she informed me that if the maintenance chap find the faults is ours, it would cost us £150 plus parts, not knowing what was up with it, made me concerned that he would inform them it was our fault. I asked her when will some one come and repair it, she said friday, two days away, I asked her what about the food that is in it, she replied it is not our problem. We got a phone call from a chap who informed us he would be here today between 8-12pm, we mover every thing out the fridge and freezer into cooler bags, got to 1pm and phoned them up again and asked were this chap was who is suppose to be here? They said he should have phoned us up and inform us, he is waiting for the part, we have thrown some food away because the fridge stopped working and the food got warm, this chap told us to open the fridge and freezer door to let the component thaw out. This is very poor after sales service, all we ask is it get repaired, or change it, please help if you can please, we don't want to loose £300 in seven months... Than you.

I bought the indesit moon less than two years ago. The mould is a serious problem. No matter what you do it's all over your clothes, lovely white bedding ruined! Indesit don't want to know, only offering money off a different model. Well, no way i'd ever get another machine from them! If they were any way decent they would offer money back or recall the bloody useless thing!

I purchased one of your indesit moons washing machines not even 2 years yet and from the begin I have been experiencing mould on all my clothes. Mould in the dispenser, mould sticking to the clothes when finish washed. This machine has ruined a lot of my clothes and right now I cannot afford to buy a new one. If I had not watched watch dog on the subject of the indesit moon washing machines I really thought it was me that was not washing the clothes properly. I am very angry with this purchase and wish I had money so I can just throw this machine on the skip where it belongs. I am now having to hand wash.

I have bought an indesit washer dryer. I bought the extended warranty.

After 5 months it stopped working

An engineer came out and didnt have the required part. He was unable to order it. On fighting their phone system, I was told they could give me no time frame for repair. Eventually iwas told that it could be a month! When I asked for the machine to be replaced with a new one I was told that was not an option. Do not buy indesit!

I have been using indesit appliances since I have been living on my own from 1990. Before I purchase my last washer dryer, I had a problem with my previous washing machine which keeps cutting out. I contact indesit and was advised that i would be charged which worked out to be more than the machine was worth.

Bearing this in mind, I still went ahead and purchase a washer dryer - WDG1295W. Today I came home from work after leaving some white clothes to wash in the morning. Upon removing the clothes from the machine I noticed that there was black spots all over them. Once I remove the clothes from the machine, to my dismay, I noticed a large hole in the drum and a small hole in the outer drum. I removed the back panel and noticed a small screw on the floor.

Now for one reason or another this screw had come lose from somewhere in the machine and not only damaged my white clothes including my child's school clothes, but left a large hole in both the inner and outer drum (pictures attached).

to make matters worse i went on the internet to find a link to contact Indesit regarding this and was not able to find a web link. I think this is so bad as indesit rather not to receive complaints so they can convince themselves that they have low or no complaint ratings.

Indesit get with it, if you products are faulty give the customers a chance to let you know and for you to try and resolve it!

As stated above we have purchased one no. Of refrigerator of indisit make from ur authorised dealer m/s samta electronics panipat (haryana) in india wide bill no. 3126 dt 11.06.09 amount 47500/- in the name of nitin goyal/silky goyal and model no. Tansfnf dhx (tk). From the begning there is a manufacturing defect in that piece. Becuase there is a defect in its electronic pannel which is situated in the front of refrigerator. Due to that fault there was no proper cooling in the refrigerator. We have compalint to the dealer m/s samta electronics and the service engeiner visted at our residence and replace its electronic pannel. But inspipte of replacing pannel the refrigerator was not working properly. And inspete of the replacement of the pannel there is tha same problem and agian company deputed the service engineer at our site. And check the total freeze and again he replace the pannel. But after two days the freeze was stoped working. Due to this fault all the vegitabeles and the fruits were destryed. We have to face a lot of dificulties at home. At present the problem is that whenever the power is gone and come back the freeze shows red indigation with a lot of noice.. Its goes on in off condition untill we have not press the buttons. We have purchased its due to a reputed company of the world. But the company and the dealer are not able to provide he after sale service. All the members of the family have been ferstated from this product. All the engineers of the company whom visted at our home repotred that the freeze will have to be replaced except there is no alternate. But inspite of theese problems no action have been taken from the dealer as well as company. The dealer statment is that I cant do nothimg for u. Because
Company not ready to replace it.
Now lastly we request u to pls replace the refrigerator with in seven days. Otherwise we have no any alternate to go in the consumer court and u have to pay all the compensation as well as losses of our sufferings. So pls take a neccessry action as per earliest.

on the 13th of nov 2008, after already having 2 engineers call to do repairs to my washing machine, the engineer did not put the parts back together properly, thus leaving a paddle inside the drum of the machine coming off damaging items of clothing and bedding to the value of £300, the engineer came and addmited that it was the machine that caused the damage to the items, he once again fixed the machine, noted down on his computer that the machine was responsable for the damage, i have phoned the customer service dept several times, only to be put on hold, thus using £10 worth of my mobile phone credit, the engineer told me to send the items to the above address with receipts attached, firstly the items are to big to send and would cost a fortune in postage, secondly i am unable to walk to the post office as i am very unwell at the moment, in a life and death threating illness, i do not need this worry on my mind and was told that as long as the enginer confirmed that the damadge was caused by his mistakes to mend it properly then i dont need to send the items in, also i do not have the receipts as i never keep them, i have never made a claim before and just want this sorted out as soon as possible. thanking you val latham.

It has just taken me eleven days to get my machine repaired by abn indesit engineer. I pay for cover of my appliance but could not use it for ten days and i had to get a relative to do my washing as no one in this day and age can live without a washing machine for eleven days with a family. I will definatly not be taking out the cover again if this is the service that they offer. I have to asy this is the forth repasir that has had to be done on my machine that will not be three year old until the end of march next year.

I bought an Indesit washing machine many years ago which lasted me over ten years. I don't think Indesit are building them to last for very long any more! If you intend on buying a brand new washing machine every year then this one is just fine. I wouldn't recommend this washing machine to anyone. It lasted a year then that was it. Towards the end (of twelve months) it just didn't do a good enough job that I would expect a washing machine to do. I won't be buying Indesit products again.
