Having used Interflora online to purchase a bouquet for a friends birthday we were very impressed and so shortly afterward on wanting to buy flowers for a funeral we again ordered via interflora for collection. When my husband brought home the bouquet I was stunned.
It was atrocious! Flowers, the few there were, were quoted and dying!
We immediately contacted the local florist who speedily arranged collection and promised replacement free delivery.
This was in fact carried out but the bouquet was still atrocious!
For ?30 we had 3 'just surviving' roses and 3 unopened buds of kind with some greenery!
In our way to the cemetery we stopped and got 2 bouquets from a well known supermarket for less money and they looked absolutely lovely.
We threw the others in the bin as they were not even worth having around the house.

Interflora.co.uk was very negative, unhelpful, disorganised. Could not be bothered to take time and help me.

On 5 Aug I requested a local florist (FLORAL CREATIONS Tel [protected] begin_of_the_skype_highlighting [protected] end_of_the_skype_highlighting) to send flowers via Interflora for my Mother's birthday on 7 Aug. On 7 Aug 4.30pm William from a florest in Benoni phoned to say he had the wrong address, yet he had sent flowers to the same address for Mothers' Day. He confirmed he had received the request on 5 Aug, with landline and cell no's, but at 4.30 on 7 Aug could not find the place. I requested that he deliver the flowers immediately, he refused, saying that he could only do it the next day, which was not my Mom's birthday. I told him not to bother, that he would not be paid for them. He said he didn't care, because through Interflora it takes 2 months to get your money anyway. I compained to the local florist, and she was told by him that I have a bad attitude. WELL REALLY! In the last 12 years I have sent flowers to my Mom while she was living in England, Australia & Dubai, yet it cannot happen in South Africa. He did not even try to phone my Mom, she was at home all day.

I had flowers delivered for a funeral as I was over seas for the service, to my dismay I returned to asked the recipient if they liked the flowers to find out that what was delivered was nothing like what I had ordered, also the card that I put a lot of thought into wasn't delivered either. I sent an email to interflora's customer service team to receive a response that was not only rude but made no sense.
The flowers I ordered were not what was received, the card was never delivered and interflora want me to send them a photo?
The email I received back from Tim at interflora was rude and did not help at all followed by a sign off saying ' we unfortunately cannot investigate this any further' unless I provide a photo, not sure I've ever been to a funeral where the recipient takes photo's of what is received and requesting a photo is embarrassing enough.
Adding to my embaressment this reflects poorly on myself and my family thanks to interflora's lack of care and customer service.
I followed my email up with a phone call after not receiving a response, they also told me that they can't do anything unless I provide a photo and that apparently the card was delivered ( which I can ensure it was not), I also raised my concerns with the initial email response and according to the supervisor there is nothing wrong with it.
So, not only did they change my flowers without my knowledge, they never wrote a card ( I checked this with the funeral director) and to top it off their customer service is a joke, but there is nothing I can do about this without a photo and in terms of the card it's my word against there's. When I requested to place a formal complaint against Tim I was also quickly shut down by a supervisor who says there is nothing wrong.
I highly recommend you do NOT order from interflora, ignore the adverts, this company is terrible.

I ordered 55 poundsworth of flowers as a table feature for Christmas. The order was made and accepted on 07/12/2011. My wife waited in all day and lo and behold the flowers never arrived. I called Interflora and all they could do was blame the courier. I paid Interflora not the courier for the flowers. I have been offered a full refund and a bunch of flowers as their way of saying sorry. I will never use Interflora again. The person who I spoke with on Chrstmas Eve, in Interflora, told a completely different story to the lady who I spoke with today. I kept explaining to them that they could not contact me by phone as I work on an oil rig in Far Eas Russia, but they still insisted on asking for a contact number they could call me on. So, in a nutshell, my one and only contribution to the family dinner table on Christmas day never got there. Like I said earlier I will never use Interflora again and will use the services of a local florist.
