My mother took my car for a oil change. told her the belt needed replaced. But it didn't. Jiffylube put the new belt on. She drove car home. Next day mother takes daughte to work. Never made it. My mother heard a loud bang, the belt popped off. She was able to pull over to the side of the road. She called me, so I went and picked up her and my daughter up. Took them home. I called a tow truck to pick me and the car up. Talked to the head mechanic. He put the belt on. there was no problem.
Next day, my mother drives the car to the bank lights come on. Belt popps of again. She called them. They towed the care to their shop. Semi fixed the vehicle. Sent my mother home with the engine light on. I asked her to call them, let them know the engine light is on. I'll stop over there once i'm off work.. So once my shift was completed. I got there. took my car in. Had it in the bay for about an hour. Brought it out front. Never said anything to me. Had me wait there for 2 hours to say. We don't know the code. Take it to the dealer. Then talk to my manager tomorrow. Thats it!
