Mixed Experiences with Four Wheel Parts Performance
As an expert in the category of off-road truck parts and accessories, I have observed a range of customer experiences with Four Wheel Parts Performance. While some customers have praised the quality of products and excellent service, others have expressed frustration with delayed orders, poor communication, and issues with refunds. It's evident that there are areas for improvement in terms of customer service and order fulfillment. If you value a wide selection of off-road parts and are willing to navigate potential challenges, Four Wheel Parts Performance could still be a viable option for your needs.
Terrible Customer Service and Communication from 4WheelParts - Buyer Beware!
I had a really tough time trying to get in touch with 4WheelParts. I tried emailing them at their main [protected]@ address, but the emails kept bouncing back! And when I tried calling them, I was on hold for a whopping 20 minutes, listening to that annoying hold music that makes you want to pull your hair out. I was trying to get through to order support, but no one answered. I was so frustrated and wished I had read the reviews here before I spent a lot of money at this online retailer. I'm now going to have to ask my credit card company for help. I also contacted the manufacturer of the product I wanted to buy and told them about my experience with 4WP. I hope they cut ties with this shady business so that their own reputation doesn't get tarnished.
Update March 22,2023: I finally managed to get through to sales after a few minutes on hold and a long period of silence on the phone. I called at 7am PST and selected "sales" from the phone menu instead of "customer support." An ARB rep (I ordered an ARB bumper) told me that "no one is left at their eCommerce department," which might explain why I had such a hard time getting in touch with them. For other customers who are feeling frustrated and confused, let me tell you that 4WP does NOT send email updates when products are back-ordered or out-of-stock. This morning, I found out that my bumper was still on order from ARB by 4WP, even though I had been in fairly close contact with the ARB rep for that bumper since I was unable to reach 4WP. So, if you don't hear anything, you might want to assume that the product is on order. I ended up cancelling my order, but the sales rep said he couldn't send me confirmation of that. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'm done with 4WP for good.
Disappointing Experience with 4WheelParts: Lack of Communication and Delayed Shipment
I recently made a purchase from 4WheelParts (4wheelparts.com) for 4 BF Goodrich tires on December 31st. After receiving an email confirming my order, I eagerly awaited the arrival of my new tires. However, two weeks later, I realized that there was no estimated time of shipment given. I tried to reach out to the company multiple times but was left waiting for hours on end without any response.
Finally, after much persistence, I was able to speak to a representative who informed me that my tires would not be shipped until mid to late February due to a manufacturer delay. I was disappointed but understood that these things happen. However, after a month had passed, I still had not received any updates on my order. I tried emailing from my account and others, but received no response.
I decided to take matters into my own hands and contacted BF Goodrich to see if there was a problem getting these tires. To my surprise, they informed me that the tires were in stock. I relayed this information to the sales representative at 4WheelParts, who promised to look into it. A few hours later, I received an email stating that it would be another 3 to 4 weeks before my tires would ship.
At this point, I was frustrated and felt like I had been misled. I threatened to go to the state police, district attorney, and contact my bank because they had taken over a thousand dollars from me and I had nothing to show for it. Finally, after much back and forth, I received an email stating that the tires had been found in a different warehouse and were shipping along with a tracking number.
I eagerly checked the tracking information and saw that the package had been picked up on February 24th and was expected to be delivered between March 9th to 13th. I contacted the shipping company on March 8th and was informed that the tires would arrive the following day. Finally, on March 9th, my tires arrived.
Overall, my experience with 4WheelParts was frustrating and disappointing. It was difficult to get in touch with customer service, and there was a lack of communication throughout the entire process. While I am happy that I finally received my tires, I will not be using this company again in the future. If I could give a negative score, I would.

Avoid 4WheelParts: Terrible Customer Service and No Resolution for Damaged Bumper
I recently purchased a new bumper from 4WheelParts and unfortunately, it arrived with scratches in 7 different places. I immediately called their customer service while the delivery driver waited in my driveway for an hour. However, I was put on hold for a long time and didn't receive any response from them. I was hoping to get a quick resolution, so I decided to email them as well. But, I didn't receive any response from them either.
I called them again on the same day and waited for almost 3 hours on hold. When they finally answered, they were not very helpful and said they needed to check with their managers. They promised to call me back the same day or the following morning, but I didn't receive any call back even after 4 days. I decided to call them again, but I had to wait for almost 2 hours on hold. Unfortunately, the line went dead after waiting for so long.
I called them again the next day and had only one call ahead of me. But, after waiting for 35 minutes, I was sent to voicemail and the line went dead again. I called them right back, but this time I was 39th in line. I was frustrated and couldn't understand why they were taking so long to answer my call. It was really disappointing to see that they were not interested in helping me with my issue.
I would like to warn everyone that if you call them to order a part, they answer the phone in under 30 seconds, but if you have a problem, they take forever to answer your call. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I would suggest you save yourself the headache and buy your part from another company. Don't be fooled by their good deals, because it will come back to haunt you. I would strongly advise you to stay away from this company.
Update to the first post - I called them again and waited for almost 4 hours on hold. Finally, I got through to someone who said they would look into what could be done about my damaged bumper. However, after being put on hold for about 5 minutes, the line went dead again. I couldn't believe it! I called them right back, but this time I was number 50 in line. I have no idea how this is possible. All I wanted was to buy a bumper for my truck, but this company has made it a nightmare for me. I have spent almost 9 hours on hold with them and still haven't received any response from the email I sent them.
In conclusion, I would like to say that 4WheelParts has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They don't care about their customers and take forever to answer your call. I would strongly advise you to avoid this company and buy your parts from a more reliable and customer-friendly company.
Terrible Experience with 4 Wheel Parts: Only Received One Shock and Poor Customer Service
I am so mad about my order from 4 Wheel Parts. I ordered two shocks three weeks ago and I only got one shock from my UPS guy after waiting for two weeks. I was so angry because I had already spent hours taking off my old shocks to get ready for the new ones. But now I had to put the old ones back on and wait for the second shock to come. I don't understand why they would only send one shock when I ordered two. It's so stupid.
I called them twice already and I had to wait on hold for over an hour each time. The customer service people are not helpful at all. They keep saying that my order will be shipped out by the end of the day, but it never is. One of the ladies told me that the shocks were not available anymore and they didn't carry them. But then she changed her story and said they had some in storage and they would send one out to me by the end of the day yesterday. I don't know if I believe her.
If my order doesn't ship today, I'm going to cancel it and tell my credit card company not to do business with 4 Wheel Parts. I have to keep driving on my old shocks that are damaged and causing more wear and tear on my truck. It's so frustrating. I read other reviews and it seems like a lot of people have the same problems as me. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. They just want to take our money.
I'm never going to order from 4 Wheel Parts again and I'm not going to recommend them to anyone. I wish I had done more research before I ordered from them. I hope you read this and don't make the same mistake I did.
Disappointing Experience with 4Wheel Parts: Fox Coilovers Not Pre-Loaded Correctly and Poor Customer Support
I recently purchased the Fox 2.0 Performance Series Coilover IFP shocks [protected] for my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 XLT from 4Wheel Parts (4WP). I was excited to install these shocks as they were advertised as adjustable 0"-2" above stock height and come pre-adjusted at 2". I had factory struts with a 1.5" leveling kit before, so I thought these shocks would be perfect for my truck.
However, after installing the Fox Coilovers, I noticed that my truck sat exactly 1.5" inches lower than before. This was lower than it was with factory struts that had a 1.5" leveling kit on them. I was disappointed as these shocks were not pre-loaded correctly. I took my truck to 4WP to have them pulled off and adjusted correctly. However, my truck was there for 8 hours, and they told me that they couldn't adjust them because they were maxed out. They said that according to the manufacturer (Fox), they come pre-set and can't be adjusted any higher.
I was frustrated as I had purchased these shocks because they were advertised as adjustable. I couldn't understand how a product that was advertised to be adjustable from 0"-2" above stock height now sat exactly 1.5" lower. I felt like 4WP didn't even try to figure it out and just told me to call Fox. I wanted them to stand behind their product and support their customers.
Another issue I had with 4WP was when I asked them to throw on the control arms since they were already working on my truck. They acted put out and said, "well, then I don't know if I can get your truck done." It was just one extra bolt on each side, and I felt like they were being difficult for no reason.
I decided to call Jack-it in SLC, and they knew exactly what I was talking about. They said that Fox will send these shocks at 0 inches, and it's common for them to need to be adjusted. They confirmed that the shocks were not maxed out after taking a look at my truck. I was relieved to hear this, but now I have to pay another shop to set these shocks where they should have been initially set in the first place.
Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at 4WP. I felt like they didn't stand behind their product and didn't try to help me when I had an issue. I would recommend doing your research before purchasing anything from them and making sure that you know what you're getting into.
Disappointing Experience with 4WheelParts: Delayed Order and Damaged Parts
I recently purchased two sets of tires from 4WheelParts. However, I faced issues with my order which caused a lot of inconvenience. Firstly, they did not inform me that one set was available and the other set had not been ordered for over a week. This delay affected my schedule and made me wait for more time than expected.
Moreover, when I brought my vehicle in to get the new tires installed, I requested that a breaker bar be used on the rear tires since they had wheel spacers and the studs were lower grade steel. To my surprise, the mechanic used an impact tool that ended up breaking three studs and two lug nuts. This caused additional damage, and they couldn't replace the studs. As a result, they had to take the spacers off and install the tires. Unfortunately, while removing the spacers, they rounded a few of the lugs, which suggested to me that they put the socket on improperly.
After this mishap, I had to purchase new studs to replace the broken ones. However, the mechanics refused to press the new studs in, which I found very disappointing. In my experience, mechanics usually fix what they break; however, this wasn't the case here. The second set of tires was installed on another vehicle, but they did not balance them appropriately, which caused additional problems.
Overall, this was a frustrating and challenging experience for me. I had to pay for all the parts that the mechanic broke and fix everything myself. It was a significant setback for my schedule and caused me much frustration and time. I hope the team at 4WheelParts can improve their service and avoid these issues in the future.
Beware of 4wheelparts.com: Terrible Customer Service and Delayed Orders
Alert - Before ordering from 4wheelparts.com, make sure you read this review!
I recently placed an order for tires and wheels on 4wheelparts.com, which cost me a whopping $3500. But, they had an attractive offer where if I purchased certain wheels and tires, I would receive a $500 gift card in return. I was thrilled to find out that the wheels and tires I wanted were eligible for the offer, so I went ahead and placed my order.
After about two weeks of not hearing anything, I began to get worried, so I tried reaching out to their customer service. But, to my surprise, it was almost impossible to get a response from them. Finally, after multiple attempts, I was able to get through to someone who informed me that the tires were on back order and should be available soon.
However, after a month passed, I tried reaching out to them again, and finally received the news that the tires were finally in stock and would be shipped to me along with the wheels.
But, after waiting another week, I received my tires, but no wheels. When I contacted 4wheelparts.com's customer service to inquire about the whereabouts of my $1600 wheels, I was shocked to hear that they didn't know where they were! And, to make things worse, they mentioned that I would receive my gift card only after 30-60 days of receiving my package.
In my opinion, their customer service was terrible, and I regret trusting them with such an expensive order. This has been an extremely disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I would have gladly paid more for my order and received quality customer service. With such a terrible experience, they don't deserve a single star rating! In fact, they should be shut down for their scam-like behavior. Beware!
Misleading pricing and poor customer service: My Experience with 4WheelParts.com
Hello there folks!
I made a purchase the other day at 4WheelParts.com for 4 pro comp 97-7883 wheels with center caps. We humans love a good sale, don't we? I saw the "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" deal and was under the impression that was the price I would pay. Imagine my surprise when I was charged for all four wheels at $89.99 each! Ahem, wait a minute.
I spoke with a salesman, who insisted that I had to buy 3 wheels at $120 each to get the fourth one for free. But the thing is, the guy who told me about this pricing got two wheels at $89.99 each! I sent an email to clarify the issue but received no response. I mean, come on! I was expecting a deal here.
When I got my package, I was so excited to see my new wheels. But my excitement lessened when I realized that the company didn't even bother to correct the error in pricing. Like, can't you at least make things right for your customers? I didn't feel like the company honors what they advertise - good customer service and fair prices.
Overall, my experience with 4WheelParts.com is a bit disappointing. It feels like they are only after the customers' money and don't even care about them after. I guess for them, it's just a matter of "we got your $, now bugger off". I think we humans deserve better than that.
Honestly, I have no intention of doing business with 4WheelParts.com in the future. I suggest taking your business elsewhere to companies that will appreciate it and provide good service. There you go folks, my honest and frustration-filled feedback.
Terrible Customer Service and Shipping - Avoid 4WheelParts
Let me tell you, my experience with 4WheelParts has left me pretty ticked off. Their customer service is just plain awful. I mean, they're so dismissive and never want to admit fault, it's like they don't actually care about their customers. I had an issue with them recently and they were giving me such a hard time about it, it was ridiculous.
And don't even get me started on their shipping times. I can understand a little delay here and there, but their estimated delivery dates were way off. When I received their email that said "This rare does occasional occur," I couldn't believe it. Seriously, do they need to go back to elementary school and learn some basic grammar? If that's how they're representing themselves to customers, it's embarrassing.
But let's not forget about the icing on the cake - the delays in shipping that put my order 1000 miles away from me in Nebraska when it was literally 1 mile away from my house. When I reached out for help, the response I got was just laughable. They didn't even try to help me figure out what went wrong; instead, they just gave me some canned response that didn't address my concerns at all.
Overall, I would not recommend 4WheelParts. If you're looking for quality customer service and timely delivery, look elsewhere. They've lost my business for good.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with 4WheelParts
I recently put in an order for a part on October 7, 2021, and I'm still waiting for the replacement that was supposed to be sent to me since it came broken. It's now January 21, 2022. I understand that there might be delays due to the current situation we're all experiencing, but that shouldn't affect the level of communication I should be receiving from 4WheelParts. What's been going on with them? I have yet to hear anything from them.
After a while, they finally sent me a replacement, but they delivered it to the wrong address. And the worst part is, they didn't even bother asking for my current address. I had to correct them with the shipping company. And then today, they delivered an entire replacement drawer when what I specifically needed was just the replacement top. How can they make such a mistake? I even have it in writing from them that they shipped the replacement top.
It appears that 4WheelParts is great if everything goes right, but as soon as anything goes wrong, their customer service doesn't seem to be as responsive or helpful as it should be. It's pretty frustrating when you're trying to get something resolved and the other party doesn't seem to care.
I was also planning on having them install the drawers, but they never replied to my email where they specifically asked me to send pictures. So, I went ahead and did it myself, even though I have chronic back problems. That really cost me a lot more than having them do it.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend 4WheelParts to anyone. They seem to lack honesty in their business practices and communication. It's just not a good look.
I even tried to post a similar review on their website a couple of months prior, but they didn't post it. It seems like they're not open to criticism and feedback from their customers.
Nightmare Experience with 4 Wheel Parts: Doubled Labor Costs, Undrivable Vehicle, and No Support
My dealing with 4 Wheel Parts was like living a never-ending nightmare. I was hopeful to get my hands on a Rubicon longarm suspension lift for my prized possession - a 97 ZJ Grand Cherokee Jeep. It was all set in motion, and I was told that the labor would cost me about 2000 dollars. The initial price quote seemed reasonable. However, as soon as the installation was complete, they bombarded me with a whopping cost of 4000 dollars, almost double the agreed-upon amount.
To make matters worse, they claimed that two additional driveshafts would set me back by $500 at most. Boy, was I wrong! They charged me a whopping $1100 for the same. The ordeal didn't end here. They destroyed the tailpipe, leaving me with less than an inch, causing a lot of trouble. I had to order a new muffler and hire someone to do some custom exhaust work on the tailpipe.
But all of this pales in comparison to what happened next. As soon as I hit the ignition, the vehicle made an unpleasant drone. I went to 4 Wheel Parts, but they weren't of any help. Instead, they washed their hands off the matter and suggested I visit another service center. So, I went to Vancouver Frame and Axle, and they pointed to the driveshaft as the issue's root cause. When I confronted 4 Wheel Parts, they denied their involvement in the drone and instead claimed that the problems arise from the rear bearings.
As I delved deeper into the matter, I had to switch driveshafts with my brother's Jeep, and the noise significantly reduced. I even swapped the transfer case but to no avail. I left no stone unturned, hoping to solve the problem, but nothing worked. In the end, 4 Wheel Parts' shoddy workmanship cost me double the labor costs and ruined my experience with my prized asset.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend 4 Wheel Parts to anyone. They doubled my labor costs, left me with an undrivable vehicle, and refused to provide meaningful support when I needed it the most. It was nothing less than a nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend anyone put themselves through a similar ordeal.
Unreliable and Frustrating: My Experience with 4WheelParts
I had a bit of a rough experience with 4WheelParts. I actually made two purchases from them, but both ended up getting canceled. The reason for this was that it seemed to be taking forever for my orders to actually ship. Mind you, I wasn't ordering anything too out-of-the-ordinary, just some suspension parts and tires.
The main issue seemed to be that the company didn't have much of their stock on hand. Rather, they would order items from the supplier and then ship them out to customers once they arrived. While this isn't necessarily a bad practice, it does add an extra layer of potential delay.
What frustrated me most was that I was charged for both orders right away, even though they hadn't shipped yet. In my opinion, it would have made more sense for them to wait until the items were in stock before charging me.
The suspension parts I ordered in October of last year were supposed to arrive within 2-3 weeks, according to the confirmation email I received. But after 4 weeks, I still hadn't heard anything. I tried emailing and calling their customer service, but didn't receive a response for weeks. When I finally did hear back, I was told that my parts were on backorder until January of this year.
I don't mind when items are on backorder, but I do think it's important for the company to reach out and let customers know. In this case, I had to constantly contact them to get any updates, which was very frustrating.
The real kicker was when I reached out to the supplier to see what was going on with my order. They told me that they had plenty of stock for the item I was waiting on, but that they weren't doing business with 4WheelParts because they weren't paying their invoices. Meanwhile, I had already paid 4WheelParts in full 5 months prior.
In mid-February, a manager finally contacted me and told me that my parts were no longer available. I know this is a lie, because I've seen them for sale on other websites. When I confronted the manager about this, he offered me a gift card and asked me to leave a positive review.
I was planning on doing just that, to be honest. I appreciated the gesture and thought it was the right thing to do. But when I tried to order tires through their site a little while later, I ran into the same issues. Even though the tires were supposedly in stock, it took more than a month for them to tell me they'd be delayed a few more weeks. At that point, I just canceled my order.
All of this is to say that I wouldn't recommend 4WheelParts to anyone. Even if they started giving things away for free, I'd still be hesitant to shop there again. It's just not worth the hassle.
Untrustworthy Business: Don't Buy From Them!
I made an order a few weeks ago, right before Mother's Day, for some parts that cost me a whopping $1700. The moment I clicked submit, my card was charged and off the order went. A few days later, I received an email explaining that the parts would have to come from the manufacturer, and that they would keep me up-to-date in 2-3 days. Well, they didn't keep me up-to-date. Instead, I reached out to some other suppliers and found out that the lift kit I had ordered was on backorder -- for over a month!
I decided to cancel the order and called on May 11th to do so. The woman I spoke with asked if I wanted to cancel the order for the lift kit, too, and I said yes. Everything seemed to go smoothly when I received a refund on the 13th... or so I thought. Turns out, it wasn't for the full amount. I called on the 14th to ask about this and was told that everything had been refunded. I waited until Monday to see if it would come, but still nothing.
By Friday the 22nd, I still didn't have my refund and I was done putting up with the runaround. I finally spoke with a supervisor, Marko Cruse, at extension 5913. He told me that the reason I hadn't received a full refund was because THEY decided to hang onto some of the money and try to sell me on a different lift kit. This was AFTER I had asked for a full refund of an order I hadn't even received any part of!
On the 18th, I had called back asking for the rest of my money and they AGAIN decided not to refund my money for items they hadn't even sent me. I was assigned to the sales department that was supposed to get in touch with me, but no one ever did. Mr. Cruse told me the problem was with the sales department. Apparently, someone named Joe Nevaro, who can be reached at extension 5127, could explain everything. I tried to call but never received a call back.
Why in the world couldn't I just get a refund for items they hadn't even sent me? Why did THEY decide to keep my money? I can only imagine they wanted me to pay interest on it. There are so many unanswered questions, and I highly recommend that you do NOT buy anything from this untrustworthy group of people. Don't do it!
Unprofessional Behavior and Faulty Work: My Experience with 4WP in Monroeville, PA
Upon having my rear pinion kit installed, including new bearings, shims, a crash sleeve, a pinion seal, and ensuring proper torque specs, I headed out from the 4WP shop in Monroeville, PA with my trusty landcruiser. However, I soon noticed a strange grinding noise with severe vibrations coming from the rear of my SUV, which were not present before. As proof, I have shared a video showcasing these issues that was recorded promptly after leaving the shop.
The assistant manager, who goes by the nickname "Crash" (his real name is not listed on his business card), rudely yelled at me and informed me that they had only looked at my vehicle once, despite having it stored for an entire week after working on it. He claimed that the vibrations were coming from the transfer case rather than the rear differential and tried to convince me that the noise was the sound of my tires rolling on the highway. In a heated exchange, he refused to investigate the issue any further or show me any proof that the vibrations were emanating from the transfer case. He resorted to threats and intimidation, even going so far as to threaten to physically fight me unless I left the store.
The store manager did intervene and suggested that I put my stock wheels back on if I wanted the truck looked at again, and pay a diagnostic fee. I found it strange that an off-roading shop would request the customer to put stock wheels back on to ensure proper diagnosis. Also, the management's treatment of me was unprofessional considering that I was a certified mechanic with ten years of experience, and I found it infuriating that they tried to pull a stunt on me.
One of the salespeople named Don Kasyan worked on the repair order and was equally unprofessional, with a tendency towards making racial and degrading remarks about me and my Landcruiser. From my experience, it seems like this shop solely wants to grab hold of customers' money. When I initially walked in there in September to get my rear pinion kit installed, Crash suggested that I wait till the "October sale fest" to save money. However, upon reaching out during the sales period to make an appointment, I was asked to put down half the total amount and was further delayed in getting the truck in the shop for another month. Eventually, I ended up paying $150 more than the initially agreed-upon amount, and to top it all, they ended up ruining my rear differential after dismantling it.
Even earlier, when I first came in there around July to get five wheels balanced and aligned, they only balanced four wheels while I paid for five. It was not hard for me to tell since I had painted the wheel weights black, and the spare tire had the same weights as it did when I left the SUV. The team informed me that they would adjust my adjustable tracking bars in both the front and rear differentials during the alignment process, but they did not make any modifications. I had marked these nuts, and they required adjustments, yet they reassured me that they had taken care of it.
I paid $1300 for the rear pinion kit installation, and it was disheartening that they messed it up too, which was the most upsetting experience of my time with this shop. As a result, I have made an appointment with Toyota to inspect my gear system to prove that the 4WP shop did faulty work. I also intend to inform corporate of my experience and have a police report filed due to Crash's implications that he would fight me. I suggest that potential customers avoid this shop as their service is not worth the hassle.
Proof of the sound and mechanical failure can be heard through the following link to a video posted on youtube, in which I drive out of the 4WP shop with the problematic vehicle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptuqKVVX0Wk
Bad Experience with 4WheelParts: Why You Should Avoid This Store at All Costs
I recently had a terrible experience with 4WheelParts (4wheelparts.com). I will spare you the details, but let's just say that my order was completely messed up and it took me weeks to get it sorted out. After this experience, I would strongly recommend that you avoid this store at all costs.
One thing that I found particularly frustrating was the lack of customer reviews and service ratings on their site. In my opinion, this should be a red flag for anyone who is considering ordering from them. If you can't read about other people's experiences with the store and gauge their level of customer service before you place an order, you are taking a big risk.
To make matters worse, when I tried to get in touch with their customer service department, I was met with endless loops and recordings. It was impossible to get anyone to help me, and when I finally did get through to someone, they didn't seem to know what they were talking about.
After weeks of frustration, I finally decided to cancel my order and look for a different store. It's a shame, because I was really excited about the products I had ordered, but the hassle and stress that came along with dealing with 4WheelParts was just not worth it.
My advice to anyone considering ordering from this store is simple: don't do it. There are plenty of other stores out there that offer great products and excellent customer service, and you will save yourself a lot of time, money, and headaches by shopping with one of them instead.

Frustrating Experience with 4WheelParts: Order Issues and Poor Customer Service
I'm not one to complain, but I'm feeling pretty frustrated with my recent experience with 4WheelParts. I placed an order for some products that totaled over $1,000 and it seems like they've forgotten all about it. One of the items on my order is back-ordered, but the other two items are supposedly "in stock" and still haven't been shipped. I've tried calling their National Customer Service line, but it often rings for a long time and then hangs up with a message about "technical problems". When I do manage to get through to a real person, they don't seem to be able to help me at all. They just tell me to call the store where I placed the order. But when I call the store in Bradenton, FL, they tell me to call the National CS line. It's like nobody wants to take responsibility for my order!
To make matters worse, the online order receipt says "pick up at the store", but I actually need the order to be delivered to my home. I've been trying to get this sorted out for days now, but it seems like nobody knows what's going on. I'm starting to regret ever doing business with 4WP. I certainly won't be recommending them to anyone, and I doubt I'll be ordering from them again in the future.
If you're thinking about ordering from 4WheelParts, I'd recommend going somewhere else if you can. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.
Unreliable and Unresponsive: My Disappointing Experience with 4WheelParts
I recently made a purchase on 4WheelParts website on 4/26/22. I ordered a set of Ironman 35-12.5-20 tires that were on sale and had them shipped to one of their stores in Portland. I received a confirmation email, but unfortunately, there was no additional tracking information provided.
After waiting for a month, I decided to call the Portland store to inquire about my order. To my surprise, they had no way to track my tires. I was quite disappointed with their response, as I expected better from a company that sells tires. They tried to upsell me a set they had in stock, but I decided to wait a little longer.
I then decided to email their website with my order number, requesting updated information. However, I never received a response from them. It is now 6/11/22, and I have decided to cancel my order since nobody can provide me with any information.
When I called the Portland store to cancel my order, I was put on hold for 15 minutes. Finally, when someone answered, they asked why I wanted to cancel my order. I explained that I was tired of waiting for my order and had not received any updates through email or phone message. To my surprise, they quickly responded with "Thanks, Your order is canceled good-bye," with no effort to make things right.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with 4WheelParts. I will never do business with this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone. After listening to their on-hold message for 15 minutes, I found nothing true about their statements made regarding customer satisfaction being their utmost concern.
In conclusion, I would advise anyone looking to purchase tires or any other automotive parts to look elsewhere. 4WheelParts has proven to be unreliable and unresponsive, and I would not want anyone else to have the same experience that I did.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with 4WheelParts
I recently had an experience with 4WheelParts that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I needed some bushings for my vehicle and was referred to 4WheelParts by the manufacturer, Energy Suspension. I was initially excited because I already had an account with 4WheelParts, but unfortunately, my experience with them was far from satisfactory.
I called 4WheelParts and explained what I was looking for, providing the part numbers that I had received from Energy Suspension. However, I was told that they had a new system and that the parts I needed weren't in it. They said they would have to add them and then call me back to finalize the order. This happened three times with three different people, and each time I was promised a call back that never came.
I was so frustrated that I decided to reach out to Mirella Guitron, the customer service manager at the company, and CC'ed Matt Boone, a Vice President at corporate. I even found out their email format (just last name at 4wheelparts.com) so that I could contact them directly.
Despite my efforts, no one at 4WheelParts bothered to help me. I reached out to the Redondo location three times and followed up with Mirella three times, but no one seemed to care about my issue.
As a result of this experience, I will never buy anything from 4WheelParts again. Their lack of customer support is unacceptable, and there is no excuse for treating customers this way.
Disappointing Experience with 4WheelParts: Delayed Order, Cancellation, and No Refund
I recently made a purchase from 4WheelParts on November 14th. The store manager called me on November 16th to let me know that my order would take three weeks to arrive. I was excited to hear this news because BajaRack.com had also stated that it would take eight weeks for my order to arrive.
I decided to send some emails to the store during the week of December 4th to check on the status of my order. The store responded and told me that my order was on its way and to ignore the "processing" status on my order.
However, on December 14th, I decided to call BajaRack to check on my order. To my surprise, I was informed that 4WheelParts had been bought out earlier in the year and was having trouble paying their bills. As a result, the corporate office had cancelled all orders.
I was shocked to hear this news and wondered why 4WheelParts had not contacted me or offered me a refund. I decided to go to their store and speak with someone in person. I had to act a little crazy in front of other customers to get their attention.
After 20 minutes of arguing with an associate, I was told that a district manager needed to approve my refund. I asked the associate to call the district manager, but he said he couldn't. He told me that no one in the store could call the district manager, but they could email him.
It has now been three business days, and I still haven't received my refund of $1222.41. I used a debit card to make my purchase, so this is real cash that I'm waiting for. It's almost Christmas, and I'm stuck until I receive my refund.
I would not recommend shopping at 4WheelParts. If you do decide to shop there, make sure that the item you're purchasing is physically in the store and can be allocated to you.
On the other hand, BajaRack is an awesome company. They offered to price match and get me a rack in just one week. This means that if I receive my refund, I can buy the rack again.
Overall, my experience with 4WheelParts was disappointing. I hope that they can resolve their financial issues and improve their customer service in the future.
Poor Service and Missing Parts- My Experience with 4WheelParts
I was looking for a cat back exhaust for my truck, and decided to make my purchase at 4WheelParts. I had a specific request, I wanted the exhaust to empty behind the rear tires. Unfortunately, when I picked up my truck, the pipes were going straight out the back! I went to the counter and asked them why the pipes were going out the back. They explained that the box was open and the side pipe was missing. I was not happy, as I had paid for a full kit!
They were apologetic and said that they would call to get the missing part sent the next day air, and they would call me when it arrived. I was hopeful that my issue would be resolved soon. However, it has been 4 long weeks and I haven't received a call!
Living in Riverside, California, I was highly disappointed with the service I received from 4WheelParts. I cannot recommend this store to anyone. It's a shame because I've heard of others who have had great experiences with this store, but unfortunately, I wasn't one of them.
I hope that in the future, 4WheelParts will make sure that their customers receive everything they paid for in a timely manner, and that service will be a top priority. If not, I'm afraid that they will continue to lose customers like me.
4WheelParts Review: Misleading Compatibility, Costly Returns, and Frustration
I recently placed an order for some fender flares from 4WheelParts, which I was excited to install on my vehicle. However, I quickly realized that the parts were not fitting as advertised despite being listed as compatible with my specific make and model.
After contacting the customer service department, my husband was informed that we would have to pay out of pocket for return shipping costs, and may also face a restocking fee. Despite the frustration and disappointment this caused, the representatives were polite in their response.
Unfortunately, I have already spent over $62 in return shipping fees, and as a result, have no product to show for my purchase. It is incredibly frustrating to have been misled by the website and left with such a significant financial loss.
Overall, I would caution others to be careful when purchasing from 4WheelParts and to double-check compatibility before placing an order. While the customer service experience was pleasant enough, the potential financial loss is simply not worth the risk.
4WheelParts Delayed My Overlander Tent Delivery: Disappointing Customer Service
I was so excited to purchase an overlander tent for my Tacoma from 4WheelParts. I had my eye on the Smittybuilt model. I placed my order and eagerly awaited its arrival, only to be told by the customer service team that the item was on backorder. I was devastated since I was so excited to set up the tent and go camping.
I decided to call their customer service hotline to inquire about the delay. Unfortunately, I had to wait for almost an hour before someone picked up. I asked them a simple question about when the tent would arrive, and they informed me that it should be there by the beginning of July, which was only a month later.
I understand that delays happen, but it's now August and the tent hasn't arrived yet. I have reached out to their customer service team numerous times, but the wait times are often longer than an hour. It's truly frustrating since I was hoping to use the tent throughout the summer, but it seems like I won't be able to do so now.
If I knew that it would take longer than two months to get my tent, I would have looked into alternative options. It's too bad that my summer plans have been ruined due to this delay. I hope that 4WheelParts can improve their communication and customer service in the future so that others don't have to go through what I did.
Negative experience with 4WheelParts: Unhelpful customer service and drop-shipping issues. Don't waste your time and money
I recently had an experience with 4WheelParts, and I must say that it was not a positive one. Firstly, I would like to mention that they don't allow reviews on their own site, which I can understand to some extent. However, I think it's essential to share my experience with other potential customers so they can be aware before making a purchase.
The first issue I faced was that they don't actually stock any parts, but instead, everything is drop-shipped. I ordered several products, and one came back as out of stock. Unfortunately, it was the only item I needed for my project, and I had to start over with a different supplier. The other item was back-ordered, which is not uncommon, but they didn't give me any clear timeline on when it would be back in stock.
The real problem started when I tried to get a resolution. I spent over four and a half hours on the phone with their customer service, which was a frustrating and time-consuming process. To make matters worse, I was told that there was nothing they could or would do to help me. It was a complete waste of time, and I still haven't received the item nor will they cancel that item and refund my money. I am stuck waiting, and it's frustrating to have no other recourse other than to post these reviews.
All in all, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. I feel that they should have been more transparent about stock availability, especially given that they rely on dropshipping. Furthermore, their customer service was unhelpful, and it was a genuinely unpleasant experience. I feel that I wasted my time and money, and I won't be using their services again. Save yourself the hassle and find a better supplier for your off-road needs.
Unreliable Service and Poor Customer Care at 4wheelparts.com: A Review
I would suggest looking elsewhere for your off-road needs. I don't think 4wheelparts.com is the best choice for customers who value quality service. I had purchased taillights for my truck, and it took 8 days to arrive from another 4Wheelparts store. I contacted their team to inquire about my purchase and was advised to give them some more time. The following day, I called to cancel as my patience was running low. However, the representative informed me that the taillights arrived the previous day.
Though I had purchased the 4hp warranty, I soon discovered that the lights had malfunctioned. I had been waiting for another week without any phone call update or anything. I found it meaningless to wait for an extra week, began calling them again, only to hear that Spyder lights were no longer interested in dealing with 4wp. They had advised me to select some other models.
Went to pick out something else and turned out to be a waste of time. 4wp didn't seem to care much or seem concerned with their customers, even after claiming to prioritize customer service. It felt as if they only cared about making a sale and not serving their customers. When I arrived at the store, I found no one available, except for one guy in the back who was too busy with inventory.
So, if you're looking for a reliable company to handle your off-road needs, I advise that you look elsewhere.
4WheelParts Review: Terrible Customer Service, Used and Damaged Products Received
Purchasing from 4WheelParts was a real hassle. I wanted a full set of rotors and brake pads, so I went ahead and made the purchase. Unfortunately, I only received the rear rotors, and they were in terrible shape. I wasn't too happy about the package that arrived at my doorstep, so I sent an email over to their customer service team asking for a replacement.
To my shock and disappointment, I got no response. Not one word. Can you believe that? It wasn't until I called up their customer service number that things got a little better. But only just a little. I was put on hold for over an hour, listening to grating hold music and getting more and more frustrated by the minute.
Finally, I got through to a service representative who told me that they had filled a claim with UPS and that I'd have to wait 48 hours to hear back from them. I was pretty upset, but I decided to wait it out and hope that everything would be resolved soon.
When I finally received the rest of my order, I was pretty skeptical. And unfortunately, my skepticism proved to be well-founded. The first set of rotors that I received were clearly used, and they weren't even packaged remotely similarly to the second set of rotors that I received. It was like they just threw them into a box and shipped them out without any care or attention to detail.
I looked up 4WheelParts on the BBB website, and I was outraged to see that they had an A+ rating when they clearly didn't deserve it. In fact, their rating was an F. What a joke.
So if you're thinking about purchasing from 4WheelParts, take my advice and don't do it. You'll only be setting yourself up for disappointment and a whole lot of frustration.
Disappointing Experience with 4WheelParts: Fraudulent Business Practices and Worst Customer Service
My experience with 4WheelParts was quite disappointing. Although I've hardly used my Jeep for off-roading, I decided to purchase a new front and rear driveshaft almost two years ago. After the installation, I started feeling rear vibrations and decided to get it checked out at the 4WheelParts store in Van Nuys. The salesperson, Max, told me to purchase a used driveshaft according to their computer, but when I paid for it, my invoice stated that it was "new". This gave me a feeling that something was fishy going on!
After paying a whopping $400 for service, the rear vibrations were still present. I approached the store, and they told me that they knew it was a driveshaft issue. However, they still didn't replace the defective driveshaft that they had given me before. I knew something was not right as they were cheating me and doing fraudulent business with me. The store behaved rudely, and I had to deal with their worst salesperson, Max.
Max's behaviour was absolutely intolerable and completely unacceptable. According to him, I had to leave and never come back to the store. He not only wasted my hard-earned money but also my valuable time. I have now decided never to use 4WheelParts again, and I have informed all my fellow Jeepers of their fraudulent practices.
I suggest potential customers be careful when doing business with 4WheelParts. They operate dishonestly, and they cheat their customers. I will never recommend 4WheelParts to anyone, and I hope this review will help others avoid such terrible experiences.
Disappointing Experience with 4WheelParts: Frustration and Miscommunication Led to Delays and Costly Consequences
I recently had an experience with 4WheelParts that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I was in need of new tires and wheels for my truck, so I placed an order on their website. After four full working days, I decided to check my order status and was dismayed to see that it was still being processed.
I decided to call their customer service line, but after being on hold for what felt like an eternity - 18 minutes and 57 seconds to be exact, according to my phone - I was unable to get ahold of anyone. Feeling frustrated and desperate for answers, I sent an email to their customer support team.
To my surprise, I received an email back fairly quickly. However, the response I received left me feeling even more frustrated. Apparently, my order was being held up because they were waiting on part number BRW900B786045. I was never sent an email notifying me of this delay, so I had been eagerly anticipating the arrival of my tires and wheels. Unfortunately, the delay caused me to miss the deadline to fix an almost bald tire, and I ended up with a costly ticket as a result.
Feeling frustrated and ignored, I called the company to cancel my order. As I was canceling, I couldn't help but wish that I had read the reviews a little closer before placing my order. I would have saved myself a lot of time and trouble if I had known what to expect from this company.
In conclusion, I would not recommend dealing with 4WheelParts. While they do have some positive reviews, my own experience was disappointing, and I found it difficult to get any answers or support when I needed it most. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy company to buy tires and wheels from, I suggest looking elsewhere.
Disappointing Experience with 4WheelParts: A Cautionary Review
My husband and I recently purchased two sets of tires for our vehicles from 4WheelParts. Unfortunately, we experienced some issues with our order. When my husband went online to place his order, he noticed a limited stock notice for his tires. Concerned about availability, he called customer service to double-check. The representative assured him that they could have all eight tires in a week's time. My husband decided to place the order over the phone, spending almost $2,800 for both sets of tires. We were told that we would receive an email receipt, but none was received.
A week went by, and we did not receive a call from the company notifying us that our tires were in. When my husband called, he was informed that they would be in the following week. However, after another week had passed, we still had not heard from 4WheelParts. As we waited for any updates, almost a month went by before one set of tires finally arrived. Upon picking up our tires, we were notified that the other set was on back order. Disappointed, we waited another week for further updates, but none came.
After further searching to find the tires elsewhere, my husband finally found them in stock somewhere else. We subsequently sought to cancel our order with 4WheelParts and asked for a refund of $1,500 for the set of tires we had yet to receive. When we initially inquired about this matter, we were told that it would take up to 3-5 days for the money to be refunded back into our account. However, after waiting 6 days and still no refund, my husband called again for another update. This time, we were told that we would have to wait another 3-5 days for our refund to appear in our account.
While we understand that orders can sometimes take longer than expected, we felt disappointed by the lack of transparency and communication from 4WheelParts. It was frustrating to have to purchase our tires elsewhere while waiting for our order to come through, and even more frustrating to have to wait so long for a refund. At times, we felt like our money was just floating around and waiting on 4WheelParts to deliver on their promises.
In short, while we appreciate the effort put forth by 4WheelParts, we ultimately found the experience to be a letdown. We recommend caution when placing an order with this company and suggest exploring other options to save both time and money.
Terrible Experience with Lynnwood #52 Branch of 4WheelParts: Misleading Advertising and Poor Customer Service
My experience with the Lynnwood #52 branch of 4WheelParts was less than satisfactory. I was excited to find their website offered free next business day delivery if ordered before 3 pm, and I promptly made a purchase for a soft top. However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration when I was told conflicting information about the order's status.
Two hours prior to the deadline, I ordered the top over the phone and was informed it was in stock, and I could pick it up on Tuesday. I called back the next day to confirm the pickup date and was told the order was never placed, and the top was now in Post Falls, ID. Despite this inconvenience, I was still willing to wait until Tuesday to collect my order.
On Tuesday, I arrived at the store only to be told once again that the top was not ordered, and it was now in Compton, CA. To exacerbate the situation, the sales rep charged my credit card, even though they didn't place the order.
I spoke with the store manager, who acknowledged that they frequently have issues with incorrectly placing orders, which is disconcerting. Furthermore, I was in the store with three other customers who were expressing similar frustrations.
In the end, I decided that this experience was enough to blacklist the store, and I would never recommend 4WheelParts to anyone. Their misleading advertising on their website and poor customer service from their representatives made for a terrible experience.
