Just Tires, 3950 W. Eldorado, McKinney, TX performed a routine 75K mi brake flush plus other services on 4-25-23 which has led to numerous brake failures and multiple times in several service centers. Two GMC Dealers state the car is Unsafe to Drive and requires a complete new brake system overhaul.
Seven weeks later brakes went soft. They performed 2 more brake flushes and Bleeds on 6-16-23 and suggested they be checked at another service center. This was done on 6-23-23 who noticed no leaks and brakes functioned properly.
9-18-23 Brakes again failed, GMC Dealer McKinney stated braking system softgoods and parts must be replaced, Unsafe to drive. Did not accept this answer so went to another location.
9-27-23 Had brakes Bleed and drove again for 3 weeks, failed again.
10-30-23 GMC Ewing Dealer Plano, TX inspected thoroughly and gave same response as GMC McKinney. Unsafe to Drive.
Both Dealers said the system was flushed with wrong fluid which attacked the softgoods and system. Brake fluid was cloudy. We can only speculate that Transmission fluid or something else was used on 4-23-23. Probably flushed out on the return trip on 6-16-23.
I have a complete set of documents for each Service Center visit in a pdf file. But will not upload.
