its ads shows only $5 joining fee and is fully refundable. Turns out to charge $40 dollars, not refundable. The online virtual assistant will auto reply something like "need to ask supervisor, connecting to a supervisor" when you ask for refund. they will block the message entry box and directly end the conversation so you will not be able to do any further communication through there. beware it is a scam

I am extremely unhappy that I have been charge by JustAnswer for the full fee (as well as the $2 trial fee) when I tried the service for 1 day, for $2, however I cancelled the service within a day, however the $66 monthly charge has come out of my account (8th August. 'Subscription' is fraudulent
I signed up knowingly for a supposed subscription, as I go through some major legal issues.
The first contact was very satisfactory and I did get my questions answered by legal counsel. HOWEVER, when I go back for a second round of questions, having now subscribed to this service...there is NO WAY, to sign in to my 'supposed' account.
The BOT pushes you to a subscription page and then the BOT assures you that the next attorney you talk to will resolve the billing issues. Right... Attorneys resolve billing issues... never... they have just signed you up for another subscription. Cha Ching...
Any company that charges a subscription for their services, and then does not have a sign in page, to actually USE that service again, without signing up again and paying YET ANOTHER SUBSCRIPTION FEE? ... IS FRAUDULENT to say the very least.
You cannot talk to a live person, only BOTs unless you pay the subscription fee and are hooked up to an attorney.
You can never use your subscription again, because there is no way to sign in. WHICH you do not discover until you go back and try to use the service.

Without realizing I got to subscribe for a simple conversation with a chatbot
Hello, I have recently fallen into the trap well setup by justanswer.com
Without realizing, I was subscribed to their service simply but chatting with the chatbot... Yes, my fault that I provided my card details but I sweat to have only read that a one time fee of a dollar would be charged and then refund... and I thought that this was associated with Facebook since they advertise themself as FAcebook Customer Service (see attached).
As soon as I realized the error (2 minutes later) I cancelled the membership. Never used the service and apparently I might not be eligible for a refund. It is now very hard to chat with a real person as the site seems to be setup that if I attempt to request for help or read at their FAQ I get redirected to a "bad request" page. Using the Incognito window on my browser I was able to access some extra information, then to be able to reconnect to the chat I closed the browser and re-opened. I finally was able to chat with what might have been a real person (I am not 100% sure) and the chat disconnected. Then I tried again and this time they closed the chat on me while I was typing...
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund for as I did not use the service, I requested cancellation soon after I discovered what was happening.

I too used their service... now when I have a second question after subscribing once which I agreed. to...the BOT keeps pushing me to subscribe again. No WHERE do they allow you to use your 'membership' without signing up for more fees. Cannot get past the BOT. Online Scam for Health Service
I signed up for health advice as the company advertises a 5 dollar charge. However, I was hit with a 46 dollar monthly membership charge I never agreed to. their online chat reps post screenshots of screens I never saw, and refer to page 10 of a TOS nobody experiencing a health emergency would reasonably be expected to read over. This company is a scam. Avoid.

Billing scam
Just answer advertises itself as health coverage abroad. I had an emergency. It only listed a 5 dollar charge for health but charges you 50 for a monthly membership buried in fine print in their TOS.
Someone in the middle of a health emergency is not going to have the ability to read through a lengthy contract explaining this.
They will not refund your money via chat.

Unauthorized card charges
I thought the service was $5.00, when the the charge showed $55.00, i called right away. Some sketchy person from overseas and answered you don't refund. I also tried to get answers from Venmo. I have been trying to get through your chat and you have it set up so it drops every time and I get no answers. Return my money please. I didn't even use the service when I found out what you charged me.

Just answer itself
Just Answer site disguises itself as any company you may be trying to get an answer from but they are scammers! They offered $1 special offer to answer one question. Once card information is entered the site locks & details the $50 monthly fee, but does not allow you to disagree or say you don’t want this FORCED sale. My question was never answered and I was charged $51 and had to cancel my card to prevent further theft.

Experts are scripted
Three "experts" couldn't answer the question properly and ended up costing me $600. These were definitely people just reading a script or bots as my questions were answered as vaguely as possible. Also, they had no ability to actually diagnose an issue, and kept repeating the same thing even when I had told them I had already tested the part they were asking about.
The wiring diagrams they provided were wrong, and using reverse image search I found they were the first result on google. I know how to google, and know that what they were looking at was incorrect. They don't have anything we as consumers don't have- they have no service manuals or special information. They literally scrape google for the first answer and give it to you.

SMS "answers"
Please don't give them $ absolute scam! I was so sick when I signed up I wasn't thinking properly. As soon as you ask a question you get a message stating you will be charged a $2.00au refundable join fee and as soon as you enter your payment details they charge you the $2 join fee plus $66 membership fee. I cancelled my membership immediately and they have refused to refund the $66. They tell you it was on the page before you enter your payment details, not true! I could not even reply to the sms they sent me!

Inappropriate charges
My pet cat into some toxins. While I was driving him to the vet. I found this Just Abswer Pet site.
It required a five dollar charge on my credit card to answer my first question about toxins. They then came back and said. At that point I disconnected cause we were already at the dog ER.
I've been see charges the next two months for their site. I never talk to a veterinarian and they would not refund their charges.
Be very careful if you sign up for this service.

Unauthorized fee charged to my card
I came across JustAnswer when looking for some employment answers. I was chatting with"Pearl" when she said it would only cost $5. When I entered my card information I was immediately charged $46 & when I circled back to "Pearl" she couldn't answer me on my question of refunding me my $4. Why? She was a bot! Beware everyone they are very dishonest & deceitful. I wouldn't recommend at all.

A payment taken without authorisation
I have had a payment taken out of my bank via PayPal. I am not a member of JustAnswer, but they said I had an account which was closed down in 2013. I have spoken to 2 customer service assistants and have gotten nowhere. They asked for my email address but said it wasnt recognised. However thisbis the only email address I have ever had. I am a senior citizen and I have ti account for every penny. £29 is a huge chunk of my pension.

Unauthorized credit card charges
I asked a question into their auto chat service after coming across their website, and was told they can have an expert answer my question for a fully refundable "$1" fee, but my bank was charged an extra $46.
When I contacted customer service, they said this is a mandatory membership fee. When I asked why it wasn't disclosed up front, they were dismissive and refused to refund the money.
I did research later and found out they are in the business of doing this - baiting people with cheap prices to get answers, and then tacking on these hidden membership fees and refusing to refund the money unless you contact BBB or someone to help get your money back.

I ran across Just Answer in a google ad looking for remote advice on Sunday, July 16, 2023. I agreed to pay a $5 sign up fee and Just Answer immediately followed that up with a $35 monthly membership charge that I did not authorize. It was a very dishonest way to do a membership fee. I use multiple apps with monthly memberships and they have all been transparent about their fee structure before charging.
I have contacted chat and email support. Chat support said they would give me a refund and then immediately said "disregard that." I have a different representative responding to all of my emails on the same thread also refusing to refund the membership fee.
If it is not refunded it seems the only thing this company is interested in is stealing people's money, not providing helpful links to professionals.
There is a screenshot of a customer care representative agreeing that I was right and that I should get a refund and then going back on it immediately.

What a hoax. I paid the $5 as requested and put the question in the chat. After a length of time an attorney texted me and a pop up came up asking for more money which I declined. The attorney texted that your service was not intended for what we were asking and referred me to other sites. I immediately went on line on my account and cancelled the service. I expect a full refund. I NEVER AUTHORIZED A PAYMENT OF $60. I expect a full refund. This is a scam. If you want the $60 ask up front. Don't do a bait and switch on a $5 charge.

I had until June 8th to cancel subscription. I went on and spoke to whomever it was and it was canceled. Before 8pm on June 8th.
Today they tell me it was closed on June 8th but the payment has already been sent to debit my checking for the $46.00.
because the next payment for 46.00 was processed to be taken out of my account there is nothing they can due. The payment is non refundable.I am so passed off right now I don’t care if it professional or not.

Fraud - deceptive process
I signed up for 1 dollar service which clearly stated "completely refundable" when entering my credit card details. Later I was offered an upgrase to a higher expert advisor to which I declined.
When done, I noticed that I was changed for a total of 46+1 usd!. When complained to them, they shared a different screen shot of the billing page that is not stating "completely refundable" as it was on the page I saw when signed up!

On May 11th I signed up for the $1 7-Day trial for their vet service online. I posted a question then I went and check the billing and check see if this is legitimate company online and found all these negative reviews. I contacted just answer within an hour of authorizing the $1 charge for the 7-Day service because I discovered they had also charged me $25 for an ongoing monthly charge. I have been given the runaround with this company over and over. On the 12th of May they sent me an email saying my account had been closed, I've been told over the phone that I would be refunded. They sent me an email that said that it had been canceled but they never issued a credit I did not receive a cancellation message until exactly a month later on June 11th. This company is a total scam and keeps refusing to do the refund, trying to claim I authorized it! When signing up for a 7-Day trial they should have not already charged me for an entire month when that month had not began, it shouldn't have begun until 7 Days Later. I've been trying through my bank to get my money back and will continue to fight but this company is rude a major scammer and keeps giving me a different story and running me in circles every time I contact them!
They renewed my membership without permission
I asked a question back in 2022 and cancelled my account after the 7 day trail. I went back yesterday and an asked a question and they RENEWED my account without permission and took out $35 dollars.
