How these folks got my number or my e-mail address is unknown, however they have called at least once a day for the last several weeks. That I can ignore but when I opened my e-mail today i had 136 e-mails from them. These emails were sent minutes apart, sometimes as many as 12 a minute. How can I get rid of these people?

Fraud Alert
I started working for this company with the promise of a six figure income. Right! I am a seasoned salesperson that has excelled in all sales jobs I've had including K-Designers. I sold almost 40, 000 dollars worth of windows for this company and was paid $876 dollars. The company actually had the nerve to say I owed them money when I quit. I requested a...

I had a phone call from K-designers and was promised a $250 gift certificate if I agreed to let a representative show me their window products. I spent 3 1/2 hours with the representative and I wanted to talk with customers who had used their windows. He suggested that I talk (on his cellphone) to a customer (who could have been anyone)...I decided to look on the computer and found several unsatisfactory customers and decided not to buy the windows at $1500 for two 36 x 28 windows. I have yet to receive my gift certificate.

In 1995, I trained for a Marketing Director Position with K-Designers, Denver, Colorado. I worked for them for over 6 months and then worked for several other competitors who were doing the same 'Promotion' in the Denver, Colorado territory. I did the home improvement “Promotional Home” sales pitch for over 5 years and was considered one of the best in the Western States. My last year in business I grossed over $175, 000 in income (before taxes and expenses).
I am glad you are happy with the work that K-Designers did for you. I hope that if you live in your home for any length of time that your product has no problems. K-Designers does NOT warranty labor to fix their products after the sale. The lifetime warranty is only on the product. In addition, K-Designers is not known for great service after the sale. K-Designers is all about new SALES! There is NO profit in sending a repair crew to your home to fix potential problems especially if you live over 100 miles from their main location. K-Designers sub-contracts all of their work, so they would actually have to pay a crew to drive to your home and do the repair. I hardly think they would remain profitable if they actually spent money repairing the problems people can have with windows, siding and other home improvements.
Their sales pitch…. Well, K-Designers uses the oldest gimmick in the book. The movie 'Tin Man' accurately depicts this company. K-Designers approaches ALL homeowners with the same sales pitch... "We want to use your home for our promotion. If you agree to allow us to use your home to market our product, we have marketing dollars we will spend on your home. These marketing dollars will save you thousands of dollars if you do business with us TODAY, WHILE I AM HERE! (Not tomorrow, but NOW).
Sales representatives are called Marketing Directors. Why? So that you the prospective customer is under the impression, you are talking to someone in authority. You, the homeowner, actually think you are speaking with a Director of the Company, not a sales person. You think this Director has special powers and has this budget of money to spend on your home. You have to agree to allow K-Designers to put a sign in your yard, take before & after photos, write letters of reference and much more…. For each item you agree to, K-Designers or the manufacturer will spend marketing dollars (which do not exist) on your home to reduce your total cost. It’s truly amazing to see the cost of a siding project go from a whopping $25, 000 Retail cost, down to $14, 999. Because your home is special, and you LOVE the product, and you agree to help with marketing you will save thousands… but remember you must do this now, while the Marketing Director is in your home. He/she will tell you they are so busy they cannot come back. They are booked solid with interested people. They have more people interested in the ‘fake’ promotion, then they have money to spend.
The marketing directors are trained to take control of you and take you through a 10 step sales process which includes: 1) a warm up 2) an introduction to the promotion, 3) a review of the company K-Designers and their manufacture (was Revere or Alcoa), 4) a detailed review of the promotion (put up a sign in your yard, agree to write a letter, agree to before & after pictures, and more items if necessary), 5) product demonstration (you must LOVE the product), 6) measure, 7) do a pretty drawing of your home 8) do an ROI (return on investment)… “Does this make financial sense; can you afford to do this?” (for siding they show you the cost of painting, alleged energy savings, and alleged increase value to your home), 9) Negotiations (they want you to go very slow, go outside in between steps, and reduce the price slowly… each time getting you the prospect to say yes to another marketing activity, and 10) paperwork and wrap up.
The marketing director is trained to ask pivotal sales questions to you during the presentation. Examples… “Folks, this may or may not be for you… if it is not, please let me know…. Of course, your home would be prefect for our promotion, but I understand if this is not for you. I have many other people who I have on my schedule who are interested in the promotion. If you do not want to participate, we will shake hands and part friends”.
Before the sales person goes to measure, they are trained to ask another question…. “Folks, you love the product… Right? … and you agree to help me with the promotion, Right? (you say yes)… Well, I love your home and you qualify for the promotion. I would love to use your home to market our product in this area! Aside from money, is there any reason we cannot do business…. WHILE I AM HERE?”…. then they remain quiet. They have cornered you into making a decision while they are there. This is called a 1-call close, or a HARD SELL! If you are not a strong person or couple, you have no choice but to continue…. Else, you would be a liar. Good people don’t lie or change their minds.
However, the REALITY IS… this, it is all baloney, fake, made up. The PROMOTION is BOGUS. There are NO Marketing dollars. Yes, K-Designers will put a sign in your yard, and they will take before & after pictures. You will also write a letter of reference….. but guess what…. EVERY K-Designers customer DOES THE SAME THING. The sales pitch is the same for EVERY POTENTIAL CUSTOMER. You are not special. Again, You are not special. You are just another person/couple that K-Designer’s is pressuring into making a decision to buy siding - TODAY. If they did not have the “Promotional” lie, they would have no reason to get you to buy today!
K-Designers uses the ‘PROMOTION’ as an excuse for everything. Examples. If a husband and wife both own a home, and only the wife is present when the Marketing Director arrives for the appointment, he/she will not present to you, nor will they give you any prices. They are trained to say, that according to the “PROMOTION” all owners must be present. Another example. Say you want to think about the price overnight? The Marketing Director will say something like…. “I’m sorry Mr. & Mrs. Smith, but the ‘Promotion’ requires that you make a decision while I am here. If you are not interested in the ‘Promotion’, I need to release the funds for someone else. I have more people interested in the Promotional dollars (that do not exist), then I have money to spend. You understand, don’t you?” The MD’s use the “Promotion” as their excuse for many objections you the homeowners may have. Bottom line is you must decide while they are in your home or you will lose all of those bogus marketing dollars!
THE FEAR OF LOSS is what motivates people to buy siding while the marketing director is in their home. People are afraid that they will miss out on an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to save thousands. You feel special that your home has qualified for Revere or Alcoa to use their product on…. You qualify….
Who sets the price? Well, if you are a good sales person (Marketing Director) you can start your price anywhere you’d like. At the end of the day, you just have to cover the cost of the siding and the cost of the sub-contracted crew who will do the work (plus other expenses K-Designers charges the MD (sales rep) such as financing fees, etc. It is not uncommon for a Marketing Director to make $5, 000 commission on a standard 1-story, 3 bedroom home.
K-Designers brags about all the employees they have. The reality is this. All of K-Designers Marketing Directors are supposed to be 1099 Independent contractors. They have a constant stream of MD’s hoping they will get rich selling K-Designers products. The reality is most MD’s do not make it past 2 months. They realize that they may have to run 50 appointments a month to make 3-5 sales. They will drive hundreds of miles, spend many lonely nights in flea ridden run-down hotels, eat at truck stops and quick stop gas stations, be apart from their homes and families for 23 days each month, and many suffer from depression and / or alcoholism. There dream to get rich at K-Designers was a last ditch effort to survive. Many have exhausted all efforts to find a real sales job with a real company that actually pays you a base salary, pays your travel expenses, and provides full benefits.
K-Designers fully controls the lives of the MD’s but has no responsibility for the MD’s they hire…. They are in constant lawsuits with MD’s over taxes, control, and independent contractor status. VERY FEW sales people make it as long-term K-Designers sales reps (marketing directors). It is very sad to know how terribly K-Designer’s uses good sales people. They take advantage of these sales people, with dreams of wealth, then simply say ‘NEXT’ when the sales people can’t perform or complain about the constant travel. Additionally, if a sales rep sells anything his first month, it can take 3-6 moths to see the job ‘cash out’. If the sales rep priced the job right, he/she might get a check, but remember they are new and might under price the siding or forget some other important cost or fee… if they are lucky they might see real money in 3 months. K-Designers does allow new hires to ‘draw’ against future sales, but the draw is barely enough to run leads (it costs an average of $500 a week to run leads). The draw does not allow a sales rep to pay rent / mortgage, pay bills, or feed their family. Imagine the stress the new sales rep has…. New job, new company, no money until 3-6 months (if you sell something and price it right). Many MD’s end up quitting and or filing for bankruptcy.
Let’s continue to talk about all of K-designers hundreds/thousands of employees. When I worked for the organization, ALL of the siding and window installation crews were sub-contractors. Some of these crews were professional… they had trucks and equipment, but most were deadbeats. I had one crew show up to do a siding job… the person was so broke, and so behind in child support. that he was found camping beside a river in a tent at night. He even borrowed money from the homeowners so that he could eat. K-Designers did not have company employees for sales or installation….. It would be interesting to know how many ‘real’ employees were actually full-time K-Designer employees. Out of 9, 000 published employees, I would guess only 500 are actual employees.
Why does this matter? This is why. If a company is serious about hiring and keeping good sales and installation people, they will hire them as a full-time employee with full benefits (health, dental, insurance) and provide the employees vehicles and expense accounts. K-Designers has NO commitment to independent contractors. NONE. They pay no taxes and have no expenses on these people. All of ‘those’ people are disposable. No accountability. No Costs. K-Designers has NO commitment to having / keeping employees, why would they have any commitment to you as a prospective customer?
Do not work for K-Designers and please do not buy from this company. They do NOT have a unique product. They do not have a special Promotion. They take advantage of prospective customers. They take advantage of good sales people ~ independent contractors are NOT employees! They are focused on NEW SALES ONLY… they do not provide good service after the sale. Most importantly, the technique they use to sell their product is a lie. THE PROMOTION is a gimmick. You can find the same product, or better, by shopping around.
Larry Judson, CEO, should be ashamed of the lies he has perpetrated over the years while doing business. He has lied to thousands of customers and thousands of good sales reps (Marketing Directors a.k.a. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS). It is time to shut this company down. If you are in the market for windows or siding, please buy from a LOCAL company. A company you trust and that carries a good product and a warranty on both the product and labor (get references and talk to people who have done business with the company). Do business with a company that hires, trains and takes good care of its sales and installation crew. Larry and his crew are the [censor] of the earth. Mr. Judson, you will someday answer to the Man up above!
Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is not true! Take care!

incredibly aweful company
This company is extremely deceitful to both employee & consumer. Not only do I want every possible potential employee to know they will run you ragged and find ways to decrease the commission on your your paycheck (BY SAYING "OH WE NEEDED MORE MATERIALS) but any potential consumer needs to slam their front door when you see them coming! I am not retaliating, just informing. They can have their management post good things about them all day so that they can present doubt to the common person reading all of these postings, but the truth is, the people that have posted complaints are telling it like it is-- both former employees and customers. Trust your intuition and do your research...beware!

Everything negative said about this company is true, plus more. I was with them for a month last year and initially believed we were giving customers marketing discounts for being a "model home." It's nothing but a high pressure, one-call-close rip off because if you tried to sell their over-priced stuff the traditional way absolutely nobody would buy it. Unless you want to be a scam artist, there is no to way work for this company, let alone make even a dime with them. The only advice for both customers and prospective employees is STEER CLEAR!
Great Product, Great Service, Great Company
What is coming of this world -- a website that is designed solely for people to complain. There appears to be no provision for people to leave positive reviews but I'll try in the hopes that the webmaster will post my opinion.
We had K-Designers replace the windows in our home and apply the America's Dream Coat and we couldn't be happier. Our home presented many challenges to their installers but they worked diligently to overcome adversity and produced a work of art. We would highly recommend K-Designers to anyone needing quality siding, windows, coating or whatever. Every aspect of our job went well and we have no complaints.
Keep up the good work!
Hi Teri Langston, who is obviously a very stupid K-Designers employee spamming the same copy/paste response to legitimate K-Designers complaints all over the internet. So stupid that you use the same pasted text twice in the same thread. Note to dummy- If you're going to do an astroturf spam, learn how to spell the name of the company who is paying you. AND make sure that you understand why they won't let you spam the same crap. Creating another account to do it makes you and K- Designers/ US Remodelers look even more clueless about this whole newfangled "internet" thing, one that seems to trip you up at every turn.
My 2 cents on the warranty!
So heres the deal.
I came home from lunch to find my shutter hanging down- having broken and swung down and my window broken as well. We had major high gust winds that day- my area gets hit hard with them. They are called the chinooks here and can run up 90 mile per hour and above. I can't tell what happened. Did the wind break it, did the wind throw something against it, did a bird hit it, did a kid walking down the street hit it with a frisbee, what the heck happened?
Besides this I also had some siding that had started to loose the crease "bubble"- Small piece not a huge part- probably from wind through the years that I had been dragging my feet on calling them about. Originally I bought siding and windows back in 2002. So I call them up and they come out an look at it. Window can't do much about though he did really try to get it through the warranty department they subcontract to- high winds are act of god. However he did get me a rocking deal on replacing the whole window as I priced the windows elsewhere this really was a "valued customer replacement deal". I'm not going to put the price, but it is NO WHERE near what I payed originally and cheaper than home depot and lowes with installment. They also replaced the shutter no charge. They replaced the whole wall where the bubble was and had their guy go over the whole house and tighten everything up again (did I mention my house gets really pounded by winds) just to make sure I have no more problems down the road.
What company does this nine years later? K Desingers.
Are they expensive? Hell yes they are, but I payed for a lifetime warranty and I got a lifetime warranty that is actually backed up not just some piece of paper not worth anything!
Larry (not judson) you did me good- thank you and K Desingers!
Happy customer 9 years later,
Teri Langston

Take care!
I walked away from purchasing from them because their weird/high pressure sales pitch didn't feel professional at all. Who do they think they are fooling? Honest companies give you an honest price the first time without all of this "promotional home mark down" bs. I couldn't get a line item estimate from the marketing director who took up 2-1/2 hours of my time, just a page full of scribbled info and rediculous pricing claims. Then, a couple of days later he leaves me a message and says another promotional home deal (like the one he was claiming to offer to me) in the area fell through because they couldn't get financing, and did I want to proceed? It smacked of a huge lie and that's when I went online and found all of this.
I buy vendor services for a living so I know how estimates of work should be presented. They may have a good product, I don't know, but this sales approach of theirs is deceitful and insulting to intelligent buyers. Due to their shady approach, how can I possibly trust anything they claim about thier product and workmanship? Shame on them.
Later I learned this and it was pretty much my experience:
Their sales pitch is that they have 'advertising dollars' they will give them as 'discounts' if they purchase on the spot. They train the 'marketing directors' to start high and negotiate down by offering discounts in return for things like putting a sign in their yard, or writing a letter of recommendation, etc. They offer many options, NONE of them are legitimate.
They also will offer 'free item' such as new garage doors, new exterior lights, design work i.e. scallops in gables, new glass screen doors, an address plaque, shutters, the list goes on. These items are included in the price and are NOT free!
Everything negative said about this company is true, plus more. They obviously try to post positive comments on this board to counter all of the complaints they receive from customers and employees.
Kookaid . . funny guy. Its more like a clear cool glass of reality! Must be one of their customer service reps again. I was trained in Sacramento by K-Designers. I know the pitch . . . all 20 discounts of it. I know the high pressure theywant you to put on a customer . . . I listened to what they made all the other reps do, . . .would you like me to share some of the BS that came from the Sales Managers mouths during those meetings and or training sessions? Want to work there . .. get them to show you documented numbers of sales people they process through each location. And meet with some of the reps one on one . . . outside the shop. And dont let them pick someone for you to talk to!
Is all I can say, if you are considering employment . . . run . . .run very fast and far and find something else.
If you are considering being a customer . . .get at least 3 quotes before doing business with them and remember that they can offer 20 discounts. After the 20th discount you will be in the average price range for their products. Proceed with caution on the financing with them. The work that the did installers did was usually average and not to bad although they are sub-contractors and not emplyees. Check for their insurance and bonds before they start work.
Be wise . .. do your research!
Who in the hell beleives a marketing director would spend 4 hours where he/she isn't wanted? And why do you imply that all seniors are old and feeble-minded? And how on God's green earth can you pretend to know who/what/how long a presentation lasts? If someone doesn't want it, they say so...period. End of presentation! What koolaid have you been drinking?
K-Designers is known for submitting false customer statements. . . check them all out. There is not return phone number or email to veryify.
You are no doubt affiliated with this scam outfit pushing the "Americas, Siding Coating and Windows" to old folks who are going to be put through the ringer whether they buy or not.
Fraud and cheating
This company has a call center based in California, where they call people and tell them that they would like to use their home as an advertising home. They send a 'Marketing Director' i.e. salesperson, to their home to give an approx. 4 hour presentation.
This is a complete scam. I was a 'MD' and they stole many of thousands of dollars from me as an employee. When confronted, they terminated my employment. They hire new 'MD's' every week, send them to CA for training, and most only last, at the most, 1 month.
I would be happy to share more details with you, if you would like. If you are considering working for them, I can explain how they rip you off. If you are considering buying from them, I think I've explained pretty well how they rip you off, but if you would like further detail, I'm happy to do that.
This company is good at getting reports like this removed and claiming they have No 'UNRESOLVED' BBB complaints. Key word there is Unresolved! They will pretty much do what you want if you make a complaint on BBB, to a certain extent. Otherwise, I don't know how they always get them either removed or settled.
I met someone, after my termination with the company, that purchased from them and they had a problem right away. They had to make multiple requests for the problem to be corrected. It wasn't until they filed a BBB complaint (at my suggestion) that they fixed the problem.
Go somewhere else for your siding and your windows!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Just ask them to show the 1099's of their Marketing Directors or any proof whatsoever that they pay what the claim- you will find none. Company is a complete fraud.
I worked for K-Designers for three years as their HR Manager/Accounting Supervisor and everything you read about them that is negative is true. They scam and go after elderly people. They lie, they cheat, they run people's credit without their permission. Larry Judson is the biggest scammer and liar there is and he will stab anyone in the back to make a buck. He sits in the accounting department conjuring up ways to under-pay everyone from MD's to installers, and has people who have been complacently working for him for over 20 years who still do not even make $20.00 an hour. I have never worked at a place where so many people behave as robots, are so unhappy, and are so underpaid. No one at that company has any respect for him, and they all believe he is crazy, but for some reason they continue to work for him. I have personally watch him create drama between people which is crazy because he's an old man. He will throw anyone under the bus to facilitate his lies and make himself look better. He treats all of his employees horribly and when I came on and people finally felt they had someone they could go to Larry Judson announced to the call center, and corp that people were no longer allowed to talk to HR and had to go to him. He's gone after lesbians, gays, minorities, and actually stated in a meeting "No we cannot have women as Branch Managers" He allows his son Doug to berate, harass, and yes sexually harass employees and does nothing about it except fire the employee when they complain. He cooks his books, and asked the accounting team to create a second set of books to show the bank. He's asked the accounting team to create false documents for audits. He has no clue how a business works and the only reason he has been in business for so long is because before the financial crisis of 2008 he had thousands of employees and let others run his business. Yes they still had all the shady business practices and still ripped people off but it was not as bad as it is now. After that crisis, and after his CFO quit in October of 2016 (because K-Designers was ruining his personal credit) Larry took over and all he does all day long is walk around and micro-manage every single person. He has no computer at his desk, nor does he ever work in his office - he simply walks around telling people what to do and how to do it and it's all about how to rip people off, how to hurt people, and how to go after people so he can look good. I predict that they will go out of business by 2020 because he's not capable of sustaining this scam in his old age. And, they hired a full time person in 2015 to "correct" all bad online reviews - Larry asked the IT manager to start contacting people who gave K-Designers bad reviews on Yelp and offer to PAY THEM to take down their reviews or to give good reviews, so ANY good review you see is a scam. There is not ONE happy employee at K-Designers and it is literally shocking to me that anyone still works there. A person just interviewed for my old position with Larry and she got up and walked out of the interview and went straight to complain to the EEOC because of the nature of inappropriate and illegal questions he asked her in the interview. This guy is a joke, his company is a joke and we will all be lucky when the entire scam folds
These posts are too funny! I was a MD, had a rough start for the first 6 months while I was continuing to work on improvement. After 6 months, I had learned my attitude determined my performance and not the company, and became consistent. My income dramatically increased to 6 figures and maintained that pace for 5 years. I left on good terms and have no regrets.
I had seen the type of people posting these comments, come and go weekly during my tenure there. The excuses and crybaby poor me attitudes are exactly why they failed. In sales and marketing, the focus is profit! That's why the field pays as much as it does because your bringing in the profit. If you are seriously complaining about not getting paid bc you wasted an expensive lead, under sold a job, or whined because you had to invest your own money in yourself...and failed, good luck in life.
I made it because I'm part of the 1% that doesn't allow failure to be an option. Yes it was tough in the beginning and I had to overcome a lot of obstacles, but I'm so glad I pushed myself through it. This is an honest post with a true basis...not a 2 weeker that probably won't achieve anything in life except blaming everyone but themselves for their lack of prosperity.
To the initiator of this thread, I hope they sue you for defamation of character. You, like many others on this post, have a pisspoor attitude, which is probably the reason you were terminated. The best part, is it's completely rare for a termination to take place lol! Most failures follow the same path as most of the whinny posts on this thread. They realize they don't have the drive to make their lives better, and probably never will.
In reference to your MD tile is basically a sales person, you are absolutely correct! If you are engaged in any transaction the is brokering a deal between a customer and a company...you are technically a sales person. The fact that you didn't follow up to ensure all marketing items were completed as you agreed upon is why YOU lied to people and made it appear the program was bogus. If it is followed through, that's where you time invested pays off.
In conclusion, I haven't worked there in over 5 years, but I happened to come across this and couldn't help but laugh and had to comment. You are in complete control of your destiny and only patience and determination will prevent you from achieving it. If you are one of the many failures that have posted on here, please, do yourselves a favor and don't leave your deadend jobs. Keep punching that clock until you finally retire. You'll be miserable but at least you'll remain in your comfort zone.
K-designers is by far the worst company I have ever worked for due to the following:
1. Prey on the elderly.
2. Give false promises
3. Promise payments to their MD's on jobs completed that do not happen
4. Find ways to get out of paying bonuses
5. Many more complaints I can not divulge due to pending lawsuits
I began to wonder about the integrity of K-D when after three months I had counted over 12 marketing directors that had left.
I too worked for this company and I do agree with many of the comments in here related to the sales pitch and how sales people are treated, however, I must say that the company has one of the best products on the market, and customers do get a value for what they are paying.
It's funny to see someone from the company trying to explain away problems. I currently make six figures a year in sales. I sell ethically and responsibly. K-Designers is the worst sales company I have seen in 35 years in the business. Dan, Roy, and Marty are crooks. Here's the deal people. Take the retail price times 60 percent and you have your real sales price. Everything above that goes into the sales reps pocket. The company says that the products they sale are exclusive to them. They are not. You just weren't listening when the rep told you the company that makes them. Guess what... you can buy them from other suppliers and distributors for a whole lot less. The same doors made by Larsen, the same siding made by Revere, and the same windows made by Simonton. Come on people. Do you really believe that a manufacturer of a product would only sale through one company or supplier... Hell no! They would lose millions if they did. As for the character of the managers I mentioned above... these guys will take you for every penny you have if you let them. Anyone who has worked for the omaha, ne office knows these guys gloat and laugh at how stupid there customer was and how much more money they are going to steal from them. Knowing them on a personal level... unless you hate your kids... let's keep the news channel free of yet another story by keeping these guys out of the house. I am sure you catch my drift.
I was a customer of Kay Designers for about 12 hours. The sales guys were ok, the product was good, what I could not get past was the cost per window but I signed. They left at 11:30 pm I had to be at work at 5:00 am. Did not sleep a wink thinking about what just happened and how much it was going to cost me. On my first break at work I tried to call Kay designers on the only number I was left with and got an answering machine, I tried all day to get a live person to cancel unsuccessfully. I drove to their home office and got there 15 minutes to close and canceled contract and asked for it on paper and got it. Feeling better about the situation, I went out to my car and remembered the $100 dollar check I wrote to them and went back in for it and followed the sales manager into an office and dug my paperwork out of a pile and I got my check. Feeling relief I left and drove home. Six days later I got a rejection of credit letter, I have a 680-720 credit score, thought it was strange but did not act on it. Got 3 more within a week! I am now looking into legal action but who runs your credit 4 times after cancellation and rejects all. This puts 4 hard inquiries on credit report. Wanting to send a letter to the owner I found these postings and felt compelled to share on unscrupulous acts by Kay Designers.
After reading all the comments on many many pages about K-Designers, only a certified ### would work for the scamming, ### company. Where is the Dept. of Consumer Affairs or the Attorney General's Office? These crooks need to be put out of business and the owner put in the grey bar hotel for a long long time. He can redesign his cell in his spare time. What is amazing is that I received another call from these people after 9 p.m. tonight. No need to take it out on the poor person making the appointments as this is usually a last chance, desperation job. Just hang up. Feel better and complain to the limp dicks at the BBB and then send a letter to your state's attorney general's consumer fraud division. Perhaps if they get enough complaints, some action will follow. I imagine if KD is shut down in some state, they will like a whack a mole just pop up some place else. The biggest scam and laugh is that the owner of the company loudly ( a clue) professes what a good Christian he is. Jesus should smite him.
Approximately Feb. of this year (2013) a salesperson arrived at my home to sell me windows. Of course one of those high energy guys calling to make appointments called first. Why did I ever do this? I don't all for these types of tactics. When I think back all the things he offered me ( as stated in the first comment) to get my price down. They are absolutely TRUE! He must have taken acting lessons. I feel totally ripped off. Being widowed a year and half prior to this. What the heck was I thinking? When the first independent worker arrived to install my windows, towards the end of April. You would not believe all the damages and mistakes in the orders of my windows that were put in and at a later date to be repaired. The first installed was a very good worker, quiet and went about his work and was very polite. I understand he and the 2nd guy were subcontracted. The 2nd guy finally arrived 2-3 months later. I am still awaiting there arrival to repair my patio window that leaks air that the 2nd guy replaced. The color of the handle was incorrect. I have lost count how many times they have gotten the wrong handle. The piece either arrived broken or the installer broke it upon installation of the 2nd patio door (he showed me how to install the broken piece and handle myself when the new parts that he supposedly ordered would be sent to me, which to date have not arrived). But had to call to see what was going on. An employee of K-Designers came out to see what the problem was. The reason they had to replace the patio door was because the grates were the incorrect color, the first time. I had both white and brown grates in patio door picture window in the same room. My dining room some days when the wind is blowing strong is so cold. I woke up one morning and came out to the dining room and saw a leaves of a plant I have sitting in front of the patio door wiggling. It could not believe it! I ended up that day folding a sheet and stuffing it between the frames that meet in the middle. Out of the 8 windows that were ordered to fit my existing windows, 4 of them were measured wrong! So they had to put wide pieces of trim so that I lost most of my ledge that I had. I have my expensive window treatments that I had on the windows prior to the installation of my new windows, laying in the closet and don't know if they will fit! As the trim piece covers up the holes were they were installed. A couple of days ago when we had sub zero wind chill. The window in the Master bedroom had frost along the frame of the window. I took a picture of it. I am so upset! I just don't know what to do. I feel like I have been taken advantage of. Being a widow and having to handle this myself and many many other issues gets to be overwhelming! Oh and I back dated there performance and completion form so they could get it in on there April monthly quota. When they actually completed the job on May 3rd.
K-Designers just installed five beautiful windows and a slider door at our house. The work was great, clean-up was good, and the product is very high quality. So far we are very happy with our purchase from K-Designers. The only problem we had was getting the paperwork right... a couple of things initially sent to us had to be redone to match the deal we were actually offered, but this was accomplished and everything has been as promised so far.

Take care!
They boast 110, 000 homes sold. Thats 110, 000 victims to their marketing fraud scam over paying for the products sold. Deceptive marketing, fraud, lies all in the name of profit. This needs to be on "Dateline" . Anyone know a good class action Attorney ?
