My credit card was charged usd 74.00 without my consent
On 12th Oct.2018 I suddenly received SMS notification from my Bank that my credit card was used for OMR 28.650 (or USD 74.00) used at Digital River.
I don't know what it was, until I saw it here in this website and everybody was complaining about it.
I got my credit card blocked and change to a new one.
Last year I purchase a Kaspersky Internet security to protect my online transactions, but now they are the one who used my credit card without my authorization.
It's like an inside job!
Customer service employees cannot speak or understand english and auto-renewed without my authorization
I have used Kaspersky anti-virus for a number of years, but I won't renew it again. My credit card was just billed 79.99 for something I didn't authorize. I got an email notification my subscription was renewed, but no description of exactly what anti-virus product was purchased.
I thought I had manual renewal, and kept getting renewal notices. The renewal notices I received via email said that there was a subscription renewal notice failure: "Unfortunately we were unable to renew your Kaspersky subscription due to a credit card authorization failure."
I also received numerous pop-up messages on my laptop reminding me of a need to renew. The last notice I got was last night saying I had less than 24 hours to renew or my subscription would expire. I have been very busy and had it on my 'to do' list to renew, but wanted to put money on my pre-paid VISA card before renewing. Then today I got an email thanking me for my renewal when I didn't even authorize a renewal!
I spoke to a number of Kaspersky representatives this evening, all of whom had thick Indian accents and were difficult to understand. They all just responded with scripted responses, and could not understand or respond to my specific questions. The best I could ascertain was that the last renewal a year ago was set to auto-renewal, even though I am very diligent to make sure I have nothing on auto-renewal.
If my subscription renewal was set to auto-renewal, then why did I get all those renewal notices and pop-up messages, including the one last night saying I had less than 24 hours to renew before my subscription expired.
The last couple of Kaspersky representatives I spoke with told me they got authorization from my bank! Since when does a bank have authorization to approve a charge on a credit card? If my subscription had been set to auto-renewal a year ago the last time I renewed, I should not have received all the email messages and pop-up messages telling me I needed to renew.
I suspect that my account may have been switched by someone at Kaspersky from manual to auto renewal so they could collect from my credit card.

Unwanted service
I was charged for 103, 69 USD without my authorisation. Had to call my bank and probably will change my credit card. No reply from Kaspersky customer service yet. I have ordered antivirus program 6 years ago, and it seems that it makes renewal every 2 years. Did not noticed 2 years ago that my credit card was charged. I am not using their software for more than 4 years.

Kaspersky secure connection
I had already renewed my subscription of secure connection on April 23 with order #[protected] with 5 devices and it went through on my card. You then charged me again for another renewal which I didn't do with order#[protected]. This is not active on any device because I did not order it. I would like this charge reversed please and please stop charging me twice for the same product. Thanks.

- 09-04-2018: order #[protected] paid by Foreign EFT. Charges selected as Both instead of Ours.
-11-04-2018: Received email stating due to incorrect charges selected need to pay difference of 8.68USD.
-12-04-2018: Respond to email given and apologise for error and ask to please settle difference of 8.68USD by Credit Card.
Response received same day from Avangate stating they wont process difference by credit card.
Respond bu asking why we cant use credit card to settle difference as to pay by credit card is an option given on their online site.

Bought brand new laptop. Tried to install Kaspersky internet security. Didn't complete so rolled it back. Roll back didn't complete so started chat session. Support member advised I was being put through to Deborah, a tech expert. After 20 mins with her and allowing her remote access, I get hit up for a $170 one off fix to get rid of the probs on my brand new laptop. Bull! Cut them off & fixed it myself. Is this a scam? If so, it's on kaspersky's own website! Beware.
Further to my previous gripe, since chatting with K am now getting unsolicited phone calls from overseas re my computer problems. Sort it out Kaspersky. Not a good look.

Total security licence renewal
I recently nenewed my licence and received an email detailing my payment received and no further action required it will automatically renew. This update never occurred on my PC and showed licence expired so I rang tech support in Australia. I was shuffled around to different people and at end of conversation there was no resolve to situation, and I would be contacted within 24 hours of call.
All I wanted was an activation code but was refused.
Rang again on 10 March and after some shuffling of techs again ended up with same consultant who made out my computer was corrupted and would require support from Microsoft consultant and a fee required to proceed.
I was quite hesitant with allowing external personnel into my pc and paying a fee but wanted renewal complete.
I have done research on this external provider being Incognito and all I can see is this is a scam.
I feel so let down by kaspersky that they allow scamming contractors to work with there technical support.
After paying 129Aud and allowing these people into my life I am very upset and betrayed. Everything they did to my pc was described on scam website.
I have been fooled
All I wanted was an activation code to renew my pc and was refused.
How do I know my pc is not open to threats now and how do recuperate the financial loss.
All I required was support and now I'm very worried

So, after my Total Security expired, the next day I entered the activation code of internet security 2014 as requested by Kaspersky online (without using the old disk).

Kaspersky total security
The renew button on the kaspersky window led to a site that failed to allow renewal - just had pages that went from one back to the start and would not allow adding the renewal to shopping cart.
I used Google to get the renewal page and this did allow me to add kaspersky renewal to my cart but following credit card details and at the last page I got the error messsage:
Error SIT000002 and the whole failed again

I am filing a complaint against your account manager Elarnie in your billing department ( New Incident INC000008793710 ). She does not represent your company well. all she does is say sorry and double talks. When I asked to speak to manager (3 times) she did do anything. I mentioned I wanted to complain about her lack of service. She eventually hung up on me. then spoke to james who gave me [protected] to complain about her. he helped me under INC000008793848 and is representative of an agent in your company should be.
I called [protected] and spoke Azzan and explained the above . tried to get him to get me to a supervisor for half hour. no luck and what a shame. get they do not want to hear about what their people do.
The main issue was over 2 hours of time speaking with Elarnie over an hour and no help. Just saying to many I am sorry.
Total security / activation code not received

I renewed my license with order# [protected] on 9 January 2018 and till now I didn't receive the activation code and my license is expired
I open a ticket in kaspersky support (ID INC000008705827), and they are not helpful at all, they are saying wait, but the question I have to wait till what date
when I ordered I received an email from kaspersky that within 30 minutes I'll receive the code, but now I'm waiting for more than 50 hours without any helpful response
please I need an answer or if you are not able to issue the activation code, return my money
Unauthorized credit card charges
I cancelled my subscription a few months ago and it was renewed without my permission. The renewal information is:

This amount was deducted from my account on 12/26/2017 and I would like it to be returned back on my card so I am requesting a refund. This account was closed months ago.
Software online renewal-credit card charge
Dear Sir/Madame;
On December 9 I renewed my protection & ordered a backup disk - order #[protected] - $53.59. When I received my credit card statement I found the charge for $53.59 and 2 additional charges to DRI*Kaspersky Lab-$10.57 & $47.80. These charges I disputed with the credit card folks.
Received the backup disk. There was no visible damage to the packaging; however, the disk is cracked. Please send a replacement disk
Kaspersky total security 2018 purchase

This is aakash from India. My Kaspersky total security license got expired. Therefore i clicked on the "Get New License" on my Kaspersky software. The link got opened of Kaspersky.com and gave me the option of purchase of "Kaspersky total security" at INR 1665 (approx) (shown discount of approx INR 325). I fill all the details of my name, surname, email id, address and even my ICICI bank credit card details. After click on next button i got new window (screenshot enclosed), but i didnt got any license key for renewal of my license. After two minutes i got the SMS that "transaction of INR 2000.99 using credit card is made at DIGITAL RIVER on 01-Dec-17." and the amount got deducted from my credit card account. But i havent got the new license key.
Please revert back with the new license key or give my payment back immediately.
Kaspersky renew unauthorized credit card charges
I was charged twice on 11-13-2017 to renew my service for my son DALTON L. PORTER. I was charged $89.99 and $95.56 could some one refund $95.56 back to my acct.asap. Porter i just hit the renew button that i was sent by kaspersky.
Unauthorized credit card charges
I installed Kaspersky Internet Security package in my lap top on 13 June 2017. It was working well upto date without any problem. Then, I received two emails on 10 November 2017 from PayPal confirmation of receipt of USD 59 and from Kasperskey confirming updated software.
This payment was had been done using my credit card and without an authorization from me. Therefore please refund this unauthorized fund transaction.

3. Incident:
I purchased Kaspersky Internet Connection. After 2 days of stable operation, the software stopped working with the following bug: "Failed to establish secure connection"
I submitted a support request in my Kaspersky and got through to getting an email from the NTS Security Company in Vietnam, asking me to explain the problem in email (though I have done that in the request - I understood that I should explain the thing in Vietnamese, so I did). On November 7, we got in contact and they performed a Teamviewer check on my computer. All they did was repeatedly closing and opening the software, checking my Windows version and checking my account on myKaspersky.
The follow-up are as follow:
- They told me that this product is not distributed in Vietnam, and they are "doing me a favor" by sending the issue to Kaspersky Headoffice. This displeseases me: Why am I sending a support request to Kaspersky, but get through to a guy that does not represent the company itself?
- After about 10 minutes, they replied me with an email saying "Windows 10 Home Single Language does not have support", siting this link: https://help.kaspersky.com/KSDE/Win2.0/en-US/126994.htm
- I explained to them that upon reading the link, I found that my computer meets all the general requirements, and I see no clue to find out that my Windows version is not supported
- I explained to them that apart from the language in setup, Windows 10 Home Single Language bears no difference from Windows 10 Home.
- I asked them to have someone that understands English read the link they provided.
- They ignored all my above explanation, and kept replying with one same sentence: "Windows 10 Home Single Language does not have support". It is like exchanging email with an autobot - but I know it was not an autobot because they did paraphrase the above sentence to some extent.
- After about 5 emails with the same content as mentioned above, without being instructed what to do if my Windows is not supported, without any whatsoever information/instruction of further ado, I gave up exchanging email with them and start writing this complaint.
I am willing to provide the full original and translation of the emails (we were emailing in Vietnamese) upon request.
4. My request:
- Have an explanation of NTS Security team and their role within Kaspersky
- Suggest that you find a more competent partner in Vietnam. I can provide a list of good-customer-service, English literate and technically capable companies.
- A support for my problem of Kaspersky Internet Connection failure, but PROBABLY not a support from your Vietnam team.
